(with a lil bit of liquid courage, whispers to Yaku) “Sorry for this in advance Mama Yaku.” (turns to the rest of the team with a determined look and shouts) “Lev, catch!” (tries to tackle-hug Lev despite the crowd)

Thanks to his long limbs, Lev is able to catch you fairly easily. 

He absorbs the impact, back hitting a thankfully nearby wall. Looking down, he grins down at you. From up the street you both hear Yaku shouting, “Are you out of your mind! What if he dropped you?!”

“I’d never drop ______!” insists the middle blocker. “I care about you too much,” he whispers just to you.
