“What if I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids, with Sekizan? Your choice who says it! Thanks!

terriblesportsimagines:

Sorry about the wait Lovely!  I’m going to be getting back to it here pretty quickly!

Sekizan Takuya

There were some days when you were sure your heart was going
to give out.

You’d loved him so much for so long that you couldn’t
imagine not loving him.  You’d been together since you were
children – he’d always been beside you in some capacity.  When you went to
high school that changed somewhat.  His life, seemingly overnight, became
all about rugby and he immersed himself in it.  He was still one of your
best friends, but he made new friends and expanded.  If you wanted to
spend any time with him, it had to be on his schedule, which was, sadly,
packed full.  You doubted there wasn’t a moment he wasn’t training.

It made your heartache.  You wondered if this was your
future – your desire for him, and his ignorance of it.  Would you watch
him grow so far from you that you couldn’t even reach him anymore?  He’d
go to college and you were no longer sure if you could or should follow
him.  You’d always been together, right from grade school, but maybe it
was time to let go of that dream.

“Ne, Takuya?” You asked one day as, by some miracle, he had
time to walk home with you.

“Hm?” He answered, his bag, and yours, thrown over his
shoulder.

You took a deep breath, closed your eyes and said, “What if
I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids?”

He stopped instantly, frozen in shock.  He didn’t look
at you right away, and you were left squirming, wringing your hands in front of
you like you had done something wrong.  You hadn’t, you just wanted to let
him know, since graduation was not too far off the horizon and you felt like
you were losing him.

Finally, after several long moments, he turned to you, brows
furrowed and eyes solemn.  You swallowed and prepared for the worst.
This was when he let you down gently, when he told you that his feelings
weren’t the same, that he cared about you, but not like that.

You had your eyes lowered, so you didn’t immediately see him
move.    You did feel him put down the bags and step in front of
you.  “_____,” he murmured.

You held your breath as he loomed broad shouldered and
massive in front of you.  When his fingers hooked beneath your chin, you
allowed him to lift it.  You barely had time to process the touch before
his lips covered yours.  He kissed you so gently your heart jumped clear
to your throat and you dizzy quickly.

“I would say,” he rumbled against your lips, “That I have
loved you for forever and that I am glad you got the courage to tell me.
I would have never done it on my own.”

When your eyes opened to look at his face, he was blushing
and looked shy.  He was so adorable, you couldn’t stop yourself from
throwing your arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.  “I’m so glad…
so, so glad.”

You could almost feel his smile as he pressed it into your hair
and hugged you bag, completely oblivious to the spectacle the pair of you made
on the sidewalk.

Cute cute cute!!!! Thank you so much for this! I loved it!

Fluffy scenarios with Asahi, Bokuto, Nishinoya and Ukai cuddling with their s/o that’s scared of thunderstorms?

hq-cuties-pls:

Wow it’s been 84 years, but I return with this self-indulgent nonsense! Did I crib a lot of notes from Ouran? Yes. Did this really resonate with me because I am absolutely scared of thunder? You bet. Does it matter than thunderstorms in Japan aren’t really a Thing because of their climate? Not even a little bit. I hope you enjoy!
~Admin Emma (Your Local Goblin)

Asahi

What had started as low rumblings before bed turned into cacophonous thunder that woke Asahi up from a dead sleep. That was no easy feat, given how heavily he slept, but thunder woke him easily. Not that he was afraid of thunder–far from it, actually–but he knew you were. The last time a storm had rolled through, he’d come home to find you shivering in the back of the closet with a pillow jammed around your head. That night was no exception.

“Hey,” he said, running his hand over the curve of your waist. You tensed under his touch, shrinking further under the covers. He wrapped a thick arm around your waist, holding you close. “Hey, ssh, It’s ok.”

“Asahi…” you whimpered, flinching when there was another flash of lightning. The thunder followed a few seconds after, loud and terrifying. It practically shook the entire house.

“Hey, hey,” Asahi soothed, pulling you a little closer. You buried your face in his chest, and he’d almost be embarrassed by the gesture if you weren’t so clearly afraid. He started rocking you gently, murmuring softly under his breath. “It’s going to be ok.”

This was a ritual for you. It was hard to see you so afraid, but he had things that scared him, too. He had totally irrational anxieties that turned him into a shaking, shivering, self-hating mess. You were always there to help him with those; so he would be there to help you with the thunder. He knew nothing he did that was rational would help. So he just allowed his presence to be enough, when it could be enough.

He would always protect you.

Bokuto

While he was no big fan of thunderstorms, he was more afraid of the power going out than anything else. His ADHD made his ears ring if it was totally silent, so if the power went out, he didn’t have his fan, and therefore he couldn’t sleep. So when a rare storm rolled through, he was instantly on high alert. He made sure his battery-powered white noise machine was charged, the candles and lighter were within easy reach, and the emergency supplies were where you’d left them last. You had leftover rice in the cooker, so if he got hungry he didn’t need power…

The storm rolled in so quickly, it didn’t take long for the thunder to roll over his head with a deafening crack. Up until that point, you’d been reading in the living room, bundled in one of his sweatshirts. You’d been pretty absorbed in your book, but the thunder yanked you right out of it. You were as alarmed as a sighthound catching movement in the bushes, and when the thunder cracked again, your eyes went wide.

Bokuto knew he had to get to work; “Hey, ____, I was thinking… I want you to show me that game. That crazy shooting RPG… Mass Effect?”

“You… you want to play Mass Effect?” You jumped when thunder cracked again, louder than before. But it was easier to get your attention again.

“Yeah! It looks fun! And you and Kuroo have that inside joke about ‘best store on the Citadel’ or whatever, and I want in!”

“Right…” you gulped when you saw the lightning flash again, but he held your attention. “Right now?”

“Yeah!” Bokuto said, exuberant and bright.

He wasn’t great at comforting. He wasn’t soft or gentle, he didn’t know how to hold you until you stopped being afraid. He was a man of action–a fixer. He needed to fix it. And he couldn’t fix an irrational fear.

But he could distract you, and make you feel loved and happy. And that was all he needed, really.

Noya

He came home from practice soaked to his skin, the sudden storm catching him by surprise. The apartment was dark, and the low hum of the AC unit was shockingly absent. The only sound was the driving rain outside. The power was out. You were nowhere to be seen.

“____?” Noya called, peeking into rooms as he searched. “____? You home?”

A flash of lightning, followed by an immediate crack of thunder. And then, he heard you. Just the tiniest whimper… you were in the bedroom. He should have known. He dropped his wet clothes into the laundry basket, scrubbed a towel over his hair quickly, and fished his phone out of his backpack. Thankfully, it didn’t get too wet. He plugged in his good headphones–the noise cancelling ones–and cracked the closet door. There you were, curled pathetically in the corner like a beaten dog.

He hated it. He hated that you were so scared, that he couldn’t be there for you. All he wanted was to make it go away. He stole the blanket from your bed and touched your knee. You practically leapt through the ceiling, your eyes darting nervously around before settling on him.

“Y-yuu…” Your voice shook, and you yelped when there was another crack of thunder.

“I’m sorry I’m late,” he said softly, whipping the blanket around your shoulders. He put the headphones over your ears, blasting your favorite playlist, and gathered you close. “It’s ok. I’m here.”

He rubbed your shoulder soothingly, feeling pleased with himself when you started relaxing into his side. He did this for you every time there was a storm. He didn’t even get that itch under his skin when he sat still for too long. This was too important to him. You were too important to him, and he didn’t want you to be scared anymore. He’d do anything…

An hour later, the power came back on, and you were fast asleep.

Ukai

He didn’t care about thunderstorms one way or the other; they came so rarely in Miyagi that he never really had to think about them. Okinawa, though… that was a different story. Many of the locals had warned him that day about a storm brewing just off the coast. Considering the big, ominous-looking clouds on the horizon, he’d taken it seriously. He was glad you’d packed your earplugs for the trip.

Sadly, the thunder was so loud and rain hit the window so hard it was near deafening, the ear plugs didn’t help. You’d tried to go to bed early, but the tension from the potential storm had kept you up. And now, with the rain and wind going full force, you were awake and likely not going to sleep any time soon.

He sighed, scratching at his hair as he climbed into bed with you. He snuck a hand under your shirt, rubbing soothing circles into your bare back; “Hey, it’s ok.”

You nodded, relaxing into his touch, but stiffening when lightning flashed again. He counted the seconds between the flash and the crack of thunder, and the storm was practically on top of the hotel. If he stared through the gauzy curtains, he could see thin cracks of light striking the sea. It would have been cool if you weren’t in his arms, shaking like a leaf.

He did the only thing he could do… the thing that you always said you liked. He sang to you. It was an old song, a traditional song his grandmother sang to him when he was young. It always soothed him, and despite the fact he wasn’t the most gifted singer in the world, you always seemed to love his singing voice. The first few times it had been embarrassing, but after years together, all self-consciousness about the roughness from years of smoking and his tone deafness and the way his voice cracked on higher notes had vanished. All he wanted was to make you feel loved.

After a time–he honestly lost track–your shaking stopped. He peered down to check on you. You weren’t asleep, but you were staring up at him with such naked affection in your eyes, his face flamed.

“Thanks, Keishin,” you said, brushing your fingers along his jaw in a way that made him shiver. “You always know what to do.”

He grinned, pressing gentle kisses to the corner of your mouth; “Anything for my future wife.”

I’M MELTING!!!! I, too, do not like thunder. I think storms are cool but they scare the crap out of me so I can totally relate. These were so, so, so SWEET Emma! You always knock it out of the park!

could you do a scenario with iwaizumi and a gf who’s a writer. i’m working on my own book right now and lately i’ve been staying up super late trying to reach my deadlines, sometimes even pulling all nighters. i need some comfort :(

imagine-that-haikyuu:

Wow, I’m so sorry this is late. Congratulations on your book! I hope you were able to meet all of your deadlines. Hopefully this will still bring you some comfort. Honestly, it’s coming at a time where I’m also not satisfied with writing and the rate at which I’m writing, so I hope you don’t mind if I use this for myself too!

Ko-Fi

It’s two in the morning and Iwaizumi can’t sleep. Life’s cruel in that way; the person who can afford to sleep now can’t, and the person who needs to rest the most is forcing herself to stay awake. He gets out of bed and wanders into the living room where he’ll find you. You could probably use the company anyway.

He still swells with pride when he thinks about the fact that you’re publishing a book. Even on the rougher days of this whole process–like tonight, for example–he hopes you retain some of your pride in the matter.

There’s one more deadline you need to make for the time being. It’s a sorry sight to see you like this, though. Only one lamp lights the room along with the backlight of your monitor. Your head is in your hands, palms pressed to your eyes. A moment passes before defeated sigh escapes your lips.

“I know,” you murmur. Iwaizumi doesn’t know what your responding to exactly. You do this on occasion:  acknowledge some small, idiotic thing you’re doing as you’re doing it that you know he isn’t happy about. But this time he hadn’t been thinking of anything. He decides to go with it, however. It might cheer you up if he plays his cards right.

“Well, then I don’t need to say anything about it,” he says, wandering over to stand beside where you’re seated.

“I know I should turn on the other lamp too so that I don’t strain my eyes and straighten my back so it doesn’t start hurting.”

He places his hand on your head, nails grazing your scalp with a gentle force in just the right way.  “Yeah, probably,” he says. There’s a warmth to the way he says this, almost teasingly, if you had to describe it.  At the feel of his touch, your shoulders relax. You pull your hands from your face too and sigh again.

“And that I should have done a little more each day than I did so I wouldn’t be up all night tonight having to do the rest.”

The scratching stops. Iwaizumi’s hands now rest on your shoulders.

“Hey, enough of that. What’s done is done, right? He presses his face to the top of your head where he places a kiss. “You’re doing great, ____.” He can’t see your expression, but he knows you’re giving a weary, half-smile that would be a full one on any other night. But now you’ve sat up straight and readied your hands at your keyboard once more.

“Thank you, Hajime.” Your voice is a near whisper. “ I really needed to hear that.”

He hums in satisfaction and kisses the top of your head again. First, he’ll go turn on that other lamp for you. Then, he’ll make you some tea. They aren’t grand gestures, but they are what you need. Iwaizumi can’t help you write the book, but he can do those small things to get you through it. And for him, you’re more than thankful.

So sweet Rachel Lauren! And good luck writer-chan! We’ve been there and are rooting for you!

It’s truly scary how in only one mere moment a person reveals a side of theirs you never knew existed, a side you never thought you would ever have to face, not from them—not from him. And in that moment, you start to doubt everything there is about them.

It’s as if that moment had changed everything you thought you knew about them, your mind feels clouded and your heart feels conflicted. With both of them unable to comprehend what’s going on, you’re left to drown in the uncertainty.

If you really knew Akashi then how did it come to this? How are you on the ground right now with nothing but a menacing aura standing over you and a throbbing cheek.

Your heart was beating at a fast rate you didn’t know it was capable of and all color was drained out of you except for the redness in your cheek.

Without a doubt your cheek painfully throbbed—hurting like hell but it was nothing compared to the pain in your heart, the arrow that was brutally shot right through it the second he laid his hand on you.

“_____” your name was the only thing Akashi could mouth as he watched your figure crumble in front of him as if you’ve seen a ghost.

It was safe to say Akashi had let his feelings get the best of him. He never meant for this to happen. The two of you weren’t having the best days together lately, he’s highly aware of that but he never knew it affected him this much.

To the point where he felt like his words only weren’t enough.

He didn’t know what to do with himself right now. What were the two of you even fighting about, he doesn’t know anymore nor does he want to. All he wants right now is to fall on his knees and beg for your forgiveness.

And then make sure to torment himself for as long as he can for hurting the one person who’ve always been there for him even when his own father did not want to.

Oh, how would his mother feel looking down on him right now. Laying his hand on the person he should love and protect. On the same person that loves him more than anything and anyone.

A disgrace, that’s what he is.

No, disgrace alone doesn’t even cut how sickening he truly is. Everyone was right all along, he really must be a two-faced monster.

Kneeling, he tries touching the cheek he violently tainted with his hand in the utmost gentle touch he can afford only to have you smack his hand away and immediately take a few steps back.

“H…h-how could you?” you faltered.

Mustering up whatever strength you still have in your knees, you stand up. You look at him with nothing but fear and most of all disappointment. In an instant all the trust you had in him was broken, just like the promise he made you.

“I’ll never hurt you, I promise.”

Bullshit. If that was a lie then who knows what other lies he’ve told you? If he couldn’t even keep the promise that was supposed to be done so easily when it comes to the person you love then why should you stay.

“I-” He spoke.

“Funny how I thought you’d be my hero, my knight in shining armor when right now, you’re the thing I’m most afraid of.” you spat, interrupting him.

That was the last he ever heard or saw from the person that could have been his all.

Very good if very sad! You wrote the scene beautifully.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY FROM BOKUTO AND A LIL TINY BO!!!!

as you can see bokuto and me tried vERY hard on making that spaghetti…… and wait for the next update because im gonna draw a series of snapchats of bokuto and akaashi conversing on valentines day hHAHAHAHAHhahhahHAH icantdrawowlsimsorry

I’m dead, this is so cute!

Matchup for HXH, BSD, KNB? Love to make people happy and try to listen to their needs as well as their wants so I can make that happen. I’ve often been told I’m faithful. I’m protective of my friends and tend to “mother” or “big sister” them a lot. I can be explosive in my feelings, but I work hard to balance. Hobbies/likes: Writing, reading, watching anime, movies or TV shows. Cooking/baking, playing with my dog. Cancer, ESFJ Thank you!

kurokoxstraydogs:

I ship you with…Kurapika (HxH) and Kunikida (BSD) and Kiyoshi Teppei (KNB) !!

Kurapika is the perfect match for you based on your “explosive” feelings and how protective you are of your friends. You and Kurapika would do anything for your friends and would always make sure they are safe and happy. Kurapika appreciates your loyalty since he knows that loyalty is hard to come by these days, and he would never take you for granted. Even though he’s often away, trying to meet his own goals, he will never neglect to send a text or email your way to let you know that he’s doing alright and that he loves you–family and friends are incredibly important to him, after all.

Kunikida is literally the only mom ever in Yokohoma. He’s the mother of all the children, and from what I’ve seen from how you interact with followers and fellow writers, you are also the only mom ever on Tumblr. This is a power couple right here. You both care so deeply for your loved ones and would do anything to keep them safe and happy. The same goes for how you feel about one another. Kunikida would rather sacrifice himself and his own happiness than to see you get hurt or be sad. Kunikida would like to learn how to cook to lead a healthier lifestyle (literally the only thing he can cook is maybe omurice on a good day) so dates would consist of the two of you trying out new recipes together and guiding him around the kitchen. Loyalty is another huge requirement to being Kunikida’s s/o, and he’s so grateful of your maturity and loyalty. He never thought he’d find someone like you.

Kiyoshi is the biggest sweetheart you’ll ever meet, but he feels the same way about you. He’s constantly coddling you, making sure you feel loved and appreciated and that you’re happy and smiling, because Kiysohi lives off of your smile. He’s also surprised that you’d do the same for him (making sure he’s smiling and happy) because he’s always found himself in that sort of one-sided relationship where only one person is working to make the other happy. He’s astounded that he’s found someone like you to take some weight off his shoulders and help him learn that he deserves to be happy, too. Kiyoshi is a star baker (he’s learned from his grandmother), and he’s often whipping up tasty treats to have you try. You’re never sad with this big teddy bear around.

i’m a bit intimidated that one of my favorite writers requested but i hope you like it!!

Awwww!! You’re so sweet Pocky! I’m just another fan girl 😉

I love all your choices! Kurapika is definitely one of my faves and he’s so badass but I feel like we’d balance each other on whose being emotional or not lol.

Kunikida is my BOY in BSD. I freaking love him so much and am so happy to be matched with him.

KIYOSHI!! My giant teddy bear snuggle bug who’s built like steel but is soft like cotton candy.

Superb job my dear, I thoroughly enjoyed them and appreciate the time, effort and detail you put into not kinky choosing but explaining why you choose who you do!

Thanks babe!
