Counteract Best Stuff First

This is a content creator hell. Anyone starting out is going to get so discouraged so fast. It’s hard to tell exactly how much this has affected me personally because I’ve recently had to take a break but coming back will be that much harder when it feels like no one is reading my work.

Oh wait. They WON’T because I’m not a “best stuff blog”.

Until @staff removes this completely unnecessary “feature” please consider turning on NOTIFICATIONS for your favorite blogs. I don’t care if it’s not mine.

All users on this site deserve the same opportunity to been seen and heard and this is killing that outright.

Let Tumblr @staff know if you want this removed permanently or at least switched to an opt in rather than an opt out feature.

Hopefully with enough dissenting opinion they’ll actually listen and do one or the other of the above options.

Not all popular content is good and a lot of exceptionally talented creators, motivators, whoevers are going to miss out on the exposure and interaction Tumblr USED to be known for.

Please, make your voice heard and tell Tumblr to remove this.
