terriblesportsimagines:

Okay, so I’m posting this today, even though I just wrote it and I never do that, because it’s pure gold and I adore it.

Keep in mind that I don’t have kids, so I 100% don’t know what they actually sound like.  That’s why I’ve kept the ages ambiguous.  They probably still sound too old, but
¯_(ツ)_/¯

For convenience, I’ve named them all.  Also, they probably have more kids, but these are the only ones here, because eight is still too many!

Please read this hilarity! Cut for length

This is amazing!

May I ask if you could do a scenario when akashi’s (KNB) son went to the kindergarten for the first time and his mom was wired because he is just a tiny version of sei? Like he really loves order and hates disobeying and kind of mature and quite for his age (still a baby who can be tricked with a kandy tho and like cartoons xD) and it happens that ryouta ‘s son is there and a tiny sei made him cry because well, like father like a son You can ignore it if you don’t like it .. thank you ❤

terriblesportsimagines:

Oh man, at first I was like “How am I going to write this ask?”  And then I fell in LOVE.  This is easily one of my favorite things I’ve written for this blog and I giggle every time I read it.  I hope this is what you wanted and I hope you enjoy!

Akashi Seijuro

You were nervous.

Well, a little more than that, since sending your baby off
to kindergarten was a big deal.  You weren’t used to being away from him
and it was going to be so hard.  But that wasn’t really why you
were nervous.  You were nervous because you knew your son, and knew his
temperament and you were afraid it would not reflect well in a school
environment.

He… didn’t play well with others, at least when others
didn’t fall in line.  Admittedly, you probably hadn’t socialized him as
well as you should have, and the only children he’d been exposed to were those
of your friends, which were all older or younger, and your husband’s friends,
which were similar age, but who, for the most part, let him have his own way.

You loved your little man, but there was no mistaking the
resemblance to your husband.  He was like a miniature Akashi Seijuro, with
all his strange quirks.  Quirks which were going to cause tension in a
kindergarten environment.  Honestly, there were sometimes you wondered how
he could possibly be only five years old.

He was obsessive about order and though you’d done your best
to bring it down a touch, had a bit of a superiority complex.  He wanted
those around him to fall in line and do as he said all the time, and
unfortunately, you know most children would not enjoy being told what to
do.  He was also a sweet little boy with a fondness for candy and a
generous heart.  It was just getting through the layers of Akashi
to see that.

He was a confident little boy, and so despite your humming
and hawing, trotted off into the school without any problem.  Seijuro
stood beside you, and arm around your waist as you watched your baby take his
first steps of independence, worrying at your lip the whole time.

“He will be fine, _____,” Seijuro commented lightly,
amusement in his tone.  “He’s my son.  He’ll have them all in line by
lunch.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of,” you muttered, wringing your
hand.  You wanted to stay and watch, wanted to supervise.  You’d
warned him, told him that other children might not like to be bossed around,
and might not adhere to his version of order.  But that was all you can
do.

The day passed with agonizing slowness.  You did your
best to keep busy, and Seijuro worked from home, even managing to draw you away
for a little alone time, since you had the time.  Still, you half
expected to get a phone call from the school with some problem or another and
it had you on edge.

When the time came to finally pick your son up, you
and your husband made your way back to the school.  Unlike some, he wasn’t
waiting outside, so you went in to find his classroom.

You heard the wailing long before you ever reached the
room.  Fear stung the back of your throat – it didn’t sound like your son,
but it was familiar, and you just knew your son was at the heart of it.

Sure enough, when you entered the room, your husband behind
you, your eyes immediately found the short red hair of your son.  He was
standing awkwardly in one corner of the classroom, chin down, while another
little boy, one with bright blond hair, sobbed hysterically a few feet
away.  A familiar blond man knelt beside him, trying to console him, while
the teacher stood by and murmured at your son.

You sighed, hurrying forward to catch your son about the
shoulders.  His little face shot up and the solemn look in his eyes made
your heart clench, especially when he reached for you right away.

“Akashicchi!” The blond man complained and when you looked
over he was glaring at your husband.  “We went through this last time!”

Seijuro blinked slowly.  “We did,” he said.  “And
I’m not repeating myself.”

Your hand shot out and smacked your husband solidly in the
middle before you turned your attention back to your clinging five year
old.  “Okay sweety, what happened?”

“He was a meany!” The blond child wailed.  “He’s always
a meany!”

“He wouldn’t play with me,” your son replied, nonplussed,
though he clutched you tighter.

“I wanted to be the king!  He never lets me be the
king!” The blond boy refuted, glaring as hard as his little gold eyes could
muster.  “He said he would behead me for t-t-treason!”

Despite how serious it was for the two boys, you had to try
very, very hard not to laugh, and you could see amusement lurking in
your husband’s crimson eyes.  Kise, less so, but that was mostly because
he was too busy rolling his eyes at Seijuro.

I’m the king,” your son commented, dead serious,
tone every bit as imperious as his father on his worst day.  “I am
absolute.  He said I was stupid and no one wants to be friends with
me.”  At this his eyes dropped to the floor and you could see, behind the
serene mask, a very real fear.  “He said Kei, Ai, Hiyashi and Daisuke
don’t even like me.”

You had to wonder where he’d even picked up that
phrase because you were pretty sure you’d tamed that out of your husband years
ago.

Both you and Kise winced at this, and you could see this
upset your son a great deal.  The other Generation of Miracles’ children
were probably the only friends he had, and certainly the ones he saw the most
and were the most comfortable with.  That included Kise’s son, most of the
time, although of the six children, these two butted heads the most.

“That wasn’t very nice,” Kise said on a sigh, stroking his
son’s head.

“He said he was gonna kill me!” The blond boy
shrieked, pointing an accusing finger at your son.

You sighed.  “I don’t think he meant literally.”

“He tried to organize an uprising,” your son said very
seriously.  “He needs to die.”

You immediately turned to your smirking husband.  “You
and I are going to have a talk about appropriate and five year olds
when we get home.”

Seijuro just snorted.

“Okay, I think everyone here needs to apologize,” you
announced a moment later, shaking your head.  “Sweetheart, you can’t
threaten to kill people, even when they don’t do what you want.”

“I wasn’t actually going to kill him,” your son
grumbled.  When you squeezed him in warning, he sighed heavily and said,
loudly, if sullenly, “I’m sorry.”

Kise, picking up where you left off, patted his son’s
back.  “And you need to apologize for what you said too, little man.
No matter how mad he made you, you shouldn’t call people stupid or tell them no
one likes them.”

The little blond boy sniffled, pursing his lips and
narrowing his eyes in what looked very much like challenge.  “…Sorry.” He
bit out, then added a moment later, “Next time I’m gonna over throw you.
I’ll be absolute.”

Your son’s chin came up to meet the challenge.  “I’ll
crush you.”

“I’ll crush you.”

Oh good, there were two of them.  Maybe it wasn’t a
good thing that all your kids spent so much time together?

You couldn’t help but giggle a little later in their
lives when neither one came out on top, and it was, in fact, little Kuroko Ai
who lead with a sweet smile and iron fist, much to both fathers’ despair.

I love this!!!

Akashi and Hanamiya’s reaction to their S/O being confessed to by another person right in front of them?

terriblesportsimagines:

Oh man, RIP other person… seriously, you gotta have balls to confess when other person is there, let alone these two!

Akashi Seijuro

It was like he wasn’t even there, and that’s what infuriated
him more than anything.  Akashi knew his
weaknesses well enough, knew that he was possessive, but had been told off by
you enough times to know better than to voice his feelings on the subject.  He’d mostly trained that part of himself
away, and he trusted you completely.
But this was too much.  This
brazen idiot was so blatantly trespassing on his territory-

He tried to hold himself back.  You’d scold him if he was too heavy handed, and ask why he didn’t
just let you deal with yourself.  But it
was hard.  The lowlife was touching you,
and it was all Akashi could do to hold himself back.  Everything in him screamed to make him lower his head.

Why the lowlife couldn’t see that you were so far above him as
to be laughable was a mystery.  How did
they even get the courage to talk to you, let alone while he was standing right
there
?

You were not doing a good job at warning him away.  You were trying to be kind and polite,
trying to spare the scum’s feelings.
This just wouldn’t do.  Akashi
felt his patience snap as the scum reached out to pick up your hand.  His arm darted between you and snatched the
wrist trying to taint you, fingers curling around it and squeezing much harder
than necessary.

Akashi’s stare was icy and imperious as he followed his arm
and positioned himself between you and the lowlife.  “Do not touch what is not yours,” he stated, voice
blank, but frighteningly soft.  “You
could not even hope to be in the same universe as my ____.  Leave.
Now.”

The lowlife scrambled away, apologizing in a flurry of panic
and bows.  Akashi watched with a smirk
as they literally ran for their life.

“Seijuro.”

You were angry, but Akashi didn’t regret his actions.  “You weren’t handling it,” he said mildly,
turning towards you and smiling a little more genuinely.  “So I did.”

“There are so many things wrong with what just happened, I
don’t even know where to start,” you sighed in annoyance, glaring at your
boyfriend.

Akashi leaned a bit and pressed a kiss to your cheek.  “A man must defend his loved ones, ____.”

“His territory, you mean,” you grumbled, but it was
impossible to stay made at him when he smiled like that.

Smirking, Akashi took you hand.  “That too.”

Hanamiya Makoto

Hanamiya couldn’t decide if this person was trying to make
him angry, or was just that stupid.  He
stared for a long time, watching the fool blush and stammer, and watching you
throw helpless looks in his direction.

What did you want him to do?  He knew that you’d be against all of his ideas, most of which
included bodily harm to the moron currently trying to, clumsily, steal what was
his.  Of course he didn’t feel
threatened in the slightest, but it was annoying to have to watch and it was
making you uncomfortable.  Plus, the
very fact that they were ignoring him was grating.  Like the whole goddamn school didn’t know who you belonged to.

After the tenth pleading look, Hanamiya decided that you’d
just have to live with what he was going to do.  He’d tried to stay out of it, to stick to the morals you
preferred, but you’d made that impossible, begging him to save you from this
idiot.

His hand shot out and fisted in the idiot’s shirt and used
the hold to jerk them towards him.  He
slapped on his worst smile, and knew his eyes were like shards of broken glass
– if the idiot’s expression was any indication.  “Do you have a death wish?”
He drawled, tone deceptive.

“N-No!” The idiot stuttered, clearly terrified.

“It sure looks like it,” Hanamiya continued, pulling them
even closer and narrowing his eyes.
“Just who do you think ____ belongs to?”

“Myself,” you mutter, but the slide of Hanamiya’s eyes made
you close your mouth quickly.

The idiot was obviously to scared to speak, since they just
stared at him with a dimwitted, terrified expression, swallowing heavily and
struggling to breathe, despite the fact that his hold on them was nowhere near
their throat.  “Come near ____ again,
and I will break both your legs, is that clear?”

The idiot nodded frantically, and Hanamiya scoffed,
releasing him so that they could run away with their tail between their
legs.

You sighed, pouting at him a bit.  “Was it really necessary to threaten them?”

A dark eyebrow rose.
“You’re the one who asked.”

Most excellent!

Hi Emmy could I please have a Soulmate scenario for Tendo and a short brown-skinned fem s/o? where you don’t possess a shadow till you’ve met your s/o or more specifically till where your shadows should be have touched/merged (sorry if that doesn’t make sense) and the setting is attending university in a western country, Tendo has uses broken English and his s/o uses broken Japanese. Sorry if this is asking too much

sfw-haikyuu-nsfw:

Not asking too much at all, Anon! In fact, this just might be one of the cutest things EVER. Especially when it’s this situation where Tendou is out attending school in a foreign university. Just so freaking CUTE.

Enjoy, Love!

P.s. I did use Google Translate for the few Japanese words used. If I got them wrong, please let me know and I will fix them right away!

The moment he saw it Tendou’s heart dropped. His lips parted as he stared hard at the ground where he was certain had NOT had a shadow – his shadow – adorning it just two minutes ago. The strap of his messenger was falling from his shoulder, but that was the last of his concerns as he allowed it to drop hard to the ground, his body shifting around in search of anyone else that also had a shadow.

With a spiking heartbeat, he witnessed many, more than he had ever noticed before, but each of the owners looked as though they had always had them; always had their soulmate. His feet carried him forward, eyes wide as he took in the faces of each person he passed, hoping that he would know beyond certainty that they were the one he was looking for. But as he searched, he realized he had no idea how he would know if he even found them or if he would ever be subconsciously aware if he ever ran into them again.

He could feel the dread beginning to grow in his belly and he was more than sure someone was trying to get his attention about his long forgotten bag. And while he wasn’t sure where they were coming from, he could feel the corners of his eyes start to burn with the emotions of a lost love that he never got the chance to experience when he saw her.

She turned the corner sharply, dark hand rising to push away the hair that had fallen into her face, her gaze turning in every direction. It was the same action he had committed upon noticing his own shadow and he silently wondered how far she had walked before she looking down to notice she had missed her soulmate.

And while he wanted to call out to her in order to ease her worries, he suddenly felt as though all the air from his lungs had been removed. It was only after their gazes met that he found himself stepping forward, his long legs carrying him the distance he didn’t want between them any longer.

“Hey,” she greeted breathlessly.

Tendou’s lips parted and he could feel himself cursing his brain for choosing this very moment to forget every piece of English he had ever learned. “Konnichiwa.”

“Ah,” she paused, her hands rising in front of her before a broad smile spread wide across her face. Tendou immediately felt his heart swell, she was beautiful. “Um, uh…” her gaze rose slightly above his head as she thought, “er, watashi no, uh, namae [First Name]?” It came out as a question rather than the statement she was intentionally going for and Tendou felt his own smile broadening across his face.

His hand rose to point at his own chest. “Tendou Satori,” he watched as her lips silently worked around the syllable of the name, “um…” When her gaze was on him again, he felt heat rising into his cheeks, his finger now pointing to her. “I, uh…” he wasn’t sure if this was too forward, but he couldn’t help the emotions swelling within his chest, “kiss you.”

A grin took over her features and Tendou’s hand immediately rose to touch at her cheek, tips gently trailing over the small expanse of her brown skin. With his breath leaving him in a shudder, he leaned to press their lips together, feeling completely whole for the first time in his life.

So sweet!!!!!

I LOVE the 12 Days of Christmas idea! So cute!! I think I’m doing this right: can I please have day 10 with Daichi and day 12 with Tanaka? Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!!

haikyuvolleydorks:

Awwww thanks dear! I hope we’ll be able to do it again next year too!

– Admin Zee

Daichi’s Day 10 is here!

Tanaka Ryuunosuke

Day 12

Your true love woke up to see your beautiful face next to him. Pick this day and enjoy some headcanons about waking up next to your sweetheart on Christmas day while opening up presents in bed.

  • Tanaka is definitely the the type to wake up super early to exclaim that it’s Christmas. You being his girlfriend are, fortunately or unfortunately, also caught up in his early morning excitement.
  • He will feel bad though if you still seem a bit sleepy and offers to go back to sleep for a few more hours, but you’re already grabbing his present and shoving it into his arms with a cute blush on your face.
  • Whatever you get him, this boy will be ecstatic because it came from you and he’s going to cherish it forever no matter what.
  • After his present, he hands you a bag and you are just shocked. He had gotten you a limited edition hoodie that you had been trying to get since forever ago. Cue you tackling him in a hug and a mini fashion show afterwards.
  • Regardless of what the two of you did afterwards, you were always going to remember this Christmas morning forever.

Adorable!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas🎄! Can I have a cutesy scenario between Iwa-chan, Ushiwaka, and Oikawa when they have babies and how they take care of them and whatnot? Lots of fluff and just make me bleed from how cute this is pls. Thanks!

haikyuu-imagines-and-others:

Okay sooooo I haven’t really ever officially written for Ushiwaka…. So PLEASE forgive me if I completely butcher his character!!! >~< And PLEASE give me any and all feedback you have regarding how I could possibly write him better! Thank you for your request! – Admin Satori ❤

Iwaizumi Hajime:

Kiyomi (Pure Beauty) – Daughter (baby)

Luck must have been on his side when you’d announced your pregnancy, when he’d felt the small baby bump you sported not but a couple months later. Luck because the pregnancy was a breeze, as if having your first baby was nothing but second nature to you! Of course, he’d been worried nonstop and stressed out any moment of the day where you were out of his sight, but as soon as he heard those cries of life from his daughter… It was almost as if everything in his life fell into place. Everything made sense, and all his stress up until that moment were put to rest.

Iwaizumi, he was sure of it, had been blessed. With your strength and love, with his family and friends support and understanding… And with his daughter, Kiyomi’s, beauty and ease. Kiyomi rarely cried needlessly, always ate whatever you or Iwaizumi would offer her on the ‘airplane’ of a spoon, and never woke up in the middle of the night after the first couple months of her life.

So when you brought home news of a big important work meeting you’d have to attend over the weekend for – Iwaizumi wasn’t worried. He was thrilled your hard work had been noticed, and had assured everything would be fine in your leave. You’d still been worried, knowing your husband had quite the temper and potty mouth – but you knew in your heart that nothing terrible would happen. Iwaizumi was an amazing father.

“Alright, Yomi, mommy’s gone for the weekend. What do you want to do?” Iwaizumi stared down at the most important light of his life, her wide green eyes staring up at him from her playpen in the living room. She smiled toothlessly up at him before tossing her toothing toy over the ledge of the pen. She fell back on her bottom and reached through the gate for the toy, her fingers just barely touching the toys edge. “Now why did you go and do that?” Iwaizumi picked up the toy before reaching in and pulling her into his arms.

Handing her the toy, he kept hold of it as she put the prickly, chewing piece in her mouth, gnawing on the plastic – the prickly points soothing her irritated gums. She let out a loud sigh and Iwaizumi smiled softly, pressing his lips to her forehead before walking over to the couch, taking a seat and placing her on his lap so she was facing him. His right hand held her on her back so she couldn’t fall backwards while his other hand held her little foot, a security hold in case she somehow got around his hand on her back.

Kiyomi smiled around the toy in her mouth, letting out a slobbery raspberry, a lob of saliva drooling down her chin onto her onesie. Before having a baby, Iwaizumi would have thought drool was gross – and he kind of still did, but his daughter somehow made it adorable? He reached forward, taking the edge of her bib she still had on from breakfast, and wiped at the spit and droll dribbling down from the corner of her mouth to her chin. “I don’t know where you get this messiness from…” Iwaizumi couldn’t help the small huff that escaped him, “I don’t even know how something so small can produce so much spit and slobber…” Kiyomi let out a high pitch squeal and Iwaizumi quietly laughed, “Yeah, I know! You’re just a small package of surprises, aren’t ya?”

Three years ago, if he’d been asked what gender he’d want for a baby, he would have said a boy. Someone to carry on his legacy. The traditional male response. At the mention of a daughter, he would have claimed to be upset and disappointed in his performance as a lover and future father…

But that’d changed. As soon as you’d happily told him the news of the pregnancy… He’d just wanted the baby to be healthy. He didn’t care if it was a boy or girl, just so long as they were happy and healthy. And when the doctor happily announced the birth of his daughter, his Kiyomi, Iwaizumi had felt pride swell in his heart. He’d been lucky beyond his wildest dreams and marrying the gorgeous and brilliant you… and now you’d blessed him with a smart, beautiful, amazing daughter…

“You know, Yomi… Daddy is so lucky… So incredibly lucky. I’ve never really… bothered to think into the future… Daddy likes to live in the moment and appreciate for what he has…” Iwaizumi moved his right leg to cross over his left, letting Kiyomi lean back on his calf as support so he could free his hand to playfully stretch her curly hair, watching it bounce back without a hitch. “But that’s all changed now, little one….” His smile was soft, gentle, not wanting to surprise his baby girl with any high frequency emotions, “I have to adapt to being a dad… You’re my baby girl… Daddy’s going to protect you from any snot nosed boy, and from any heartbreak that can be avoided…. But to do that… I have to look forward and plan well ahead…” He let his fingers stroke her little cheek, his smile brightening when her little hand wrapped around them.

Kiyomi stared at his fingers in her hold before letting her gaze trail up to his own eyes, giggling before sticking her tongue out and letting out a loud raspberry. She let out a squeal of giggles at the sound of her own noise, and made another raspberry, the force of this one making her cheeks a little red.

Iwaizumi laughed quietly and stuck out his tongue at her, blowing his own raspberry. Her wide green eyes showed her surprise as she stopped mid raspberry, her little pink tongue peeking between her rosy lips. “Ah, didn’t know daddy could make that noise, huh?” He smiled as he pulled her into his arms, her head resting on his bicep. Kiyomi stared up at her father with a wide smile, “Oh boy…” His left hand cupped her cheek in his palm, marveling at how much smaller and softer she was compared to him, “You’re going to give daddy so many gray hairs.” Kiyomi giggled happily, turning her head and blowing against the palm of his hand, making another raspberry noise. Iwaizumi sighed quietly, happily, contently, “Yeah… Yeah, you are.” And he’d never felt more excited to get a front seat experience of her life.

Ushijima Wakatoshi:

Isamu (Courageous/Warrior) – Son (twin baby 1)

Isao (Honor/Merit) – Son (Twin baby 2)

“Toshi…. Are you sure you can handle both of them while I’m gone?” You asked for the umpteenth time as you pulled on your winter coat, zipping it up to the collar. “I can always ask for my backup to go in for me-“ But further protest from you was cut off as he pressed his lips against yours. You smiled against his lips, stopping yourself from getting too lost in the kiss when you heard the quiet babbling of the two beings that occupied your husbands arms. Pulling away, your smile widened as you saw two pairs of olive eyes stare up at you, “Awwww, my little Isa’s!” They smiled up at you, reacting to the short nickname you’d donned them a few months after their births. “Mommy’s going to miss my very important boys so very much.” Ushijima raised them higher, his stoic look ever present, but you could tell he was curious on if you’d miss him as much as his offspring. “Of course, I’m gonna miss my very special man just as much.” You reached upward and forward, pressing your forehead to his chin and feeling your heart swell when you felt the small arms of your twin boys wrap around your head and their cheeks pressing against the top of your head.

Ushijima turned down his head just the slightest and pressed his lips to your forehead, taking a few moments to just enjoy your warmth. Faster than either of you would have liked, he tilted his head back a bit, pressing his chin against your forehead so you would look at him properly. He stepped back and set down his sons, watching the two of them toddle away as best they could before his eyes were back on you. His hands reached up and pulled your hood over your head, “It’s going to be really cold… Don’t get sick.” You smiled gently up at him, and he nodded to you, “We’ll be fine.”

You smile faltered just the slightest, worry filling your heart, “Okay… I’ll be back as soon as I can, I promise.” You quickly leaned up on your toes, pressing one more kiss to his lips before turning and opening the door, letting out a whine at the cold wind that rushed in.

After he was sure you’d gotten into the car, warmed it up, and got onto the road safely, Ushijima closed the door and locked it properly. He turned on his heel, about to go and make some warm tea to fight against the harsh chill in his bones from the freezing temperature outside, but stopped when he noticed his two sons staring up at him expectantly. Isamu and Isao. His offspring. His legacy. His twin sons. If he was being completely honest with himself, most days it was a trying challenge to remember which child was which.

Isamu smiled up at his father, “Coco!” Isao stared at his brother with wide eyes, realizing the possibilities now with their mother out of the house. Then Isao was looking up at his father with a pout, “Coco!” They called together, thinking maybe if they said it enough, their father would listen and give in to their requests.

Pursing his lips, Ushijima shook his head, “No, no coco. It’s time for bed.” His voice was stern, but his olive eyes were soft. He made his way to the kitchen, deciding to ignore the way his sons let out forlorn sighs as they fell in his shadow. While he’d said it was time for bed, he wasn’t going to enforce it until he’d warmed himself up with some tea, letting his sons enjoy being awake for just a little while longer.

Feeling a tug to his pant legs, Ushijima looked down to see Isamu, Isao?, staring up at him with an extreme frown – the expression most assuredly came from you, Ushijima was sure of it. “Coco?” Ushijima knew it had been a bad idea to have Tendou watch his sons, his former teammate had gotten his twin sons hooked on sweets within a few hours, and now they always asked for it. “Coco?” The small voice called for his fathers attention once more, and Ushijima shook his head. Isamu’s little shoulders slackened before he dragged his feet towards where Isao had been waiting on baited breath around the corner.

Ushijima could hear his sons whispered babbling, but he was relieved when neither of them came back to ask for the hot chocolate beverage once more.

Isamu held Isao’s hand as they walked into their bedroom, wrapping the both of them as best he could in their favorite blanket. They sat on their bed, talking about god knows what in their twin speak. Isao was getting sleepy, and Isamu had to keep slightly shaking his brother to keep him awake, to keep him company in the dim light of their room. Then they heard footsteps in the hall, and the both of them slammed down onto their bed, curling into each other and closing their eyes, pretending to be asleep. Their father wasn’t a terribly strict man, but he did have his rules. And bed time meant bed time.

A dip in the bed alerted the twins to their father’s very present aura in their room, and the adrenaline from hiding their wakefulness from their father made their little hearts beat twice as fast in their chests. “Isamu… Isao…” Their father’s deep voice called for them, and slowly they opened their eyes, which only widened when they noticed the tray of mugs their father had carried into their bedroom. “Coco…”

Isao practically shivered in excitement before crawling to his father, taking his mug carefully in his small hands and sipping at the cooled coco. Isamu crawled after his brother, kneeling next to the tray of mugs and staring up at his father with wide eyes as he was handed a mug of his own coco.

“After this, it’s time to sleep. Sleep is good for growing boys. And you boys have a lot of growing to do.” A small smile lit their fathers’ face, and both boys set down their cups on the side table of their shared bed before they launched themselves into their father, wrapping their arms around his neck and nuzzling his jaw and chin. Ushijima held them both in one arm, his other carefully setting his own mug off to the side table so as not to spill it before he was laying down with his sons on either side of him. They curled into his embrace, somehow completely forgetting about their treasured drinks, and fell asleep when Ushijima’s large hands slowly stroked their hair. “Just like your mother…” He couldn’t help but notice with a small smile, already looking forward to your return home, so you could join in the family slumber.

Oikawa Tooru:

Yukio (Snow Boy) – Son (baby)

The name Oikawa had been known all around the world for being the champion setter of Japan’s Olympic team – even with his bum knee. It’d been legend at his middle and high schools. Hell, it’d even been a huge name of his while he was still a child in pre-school… But it seemed his son, Yukio, was making a new record as Oikawa being the name of a boy most likely to throw a tantrum.

“Yukio-chan! Mommy’s going to be right back! What’s the matter?” Oikawa was almost at his wits end with his son’s constant crying. As soon as his son had woken up to find his father instead of his mother, it was almost liked Yukio’s entire life had been ruined! “Ugh, you’re so dramatic, Yukio-chan! She’s going to be right back, she just went to get you some formula!” Oikawa had tried everything to calm his son. Rocked him. Offered him food…. Begged him. Everything, and yet the boy would not stop crying.

Oikawa would have never guess that being a parent was so hard! Sure, he knew there were some hardships in the title. And he knew his mother had gone through her fair share as he’d been quite the difficult child.

But never in his wildest dreams would he have envisioned his own son being a complete cry baby!

“Mama! Mama! Mama!” Yukio’s cries were loud, grating on his fathers ears, picking at his fathers patience. “Mama!”

Feeling his nose scrunch, he got on the boys level, sitting in front of his son on the floor. The boy had thrown himself on the floor in his tantrum when Oikawa had tried getting him to follow him to the living room to entertain him until your return. Yukio’s cries faltered, surprised his father had sat down in front of him so suddenly. “Dada!” Oikawa challenged, squinting his eyes at his son.

Eyebrows furrowing, Yukio frowned and crossed his arms, “Mama!”

“Dada!”

“Mama!”

“Mama!”

“Dada!”

Oikawa threw his fist in the air and cheered, “Ha! Little Yukio-chan said dada! See? I knew you weren’t a complete loss of a mama’s boy!” He smiled proudly down at his son, but the pride immediately left him as soon as he saw the way Yukio sniffled and wiped at his own tears. What kind of father laughs at his own child? When they were crying? Oikawa felt shame creep into his heart, and he reached out, pulling his son by the hands so the small boy would stand and walk towards him. “Ah, Yukio…. Daddy’s sorry… Daddy’s really sorry…” He wrapped Yukio in his arms, pulling him to rest his little head against his chest, “She’ll be home soon, I promise, Yukio… I know I’m not your favorite, and I’m sure it’s probably deserved since I’m just… really bad at being a dad…” Oikawa’s laugh held no humor, and Yukio stared up at the underside of his father’s jaw. “Don’t cry, Yukio… Mommy will be home soon.”

Yukio frowned to himself, hearing his father’s forlorn sigh, feeling the hesitation in his fathers fingers as they stroked through his hair. And while Yukio didn’t understand what his father was saying, he knew it was something that was making him sad. Yukio stood on his father’s lap, his little feet pressing into his father’s thighs, and surprised Oikawa by wrapping his little arms around his father’s neck.

Warmth filled Oikawa’s heart at the small embrace his son was offering him, was giving him. He held his son close to his chest, pressing the side of his head against Yukio’s, “You know, Yukio-chan… I was really scared… when mommy said she was having you… I was terrified… Especially when I held you for the first time…” Oikawa’s fingers tightened in the back of Yukio’s shirt, “You were so small… So tiny… But already you and mama were my world. My entire world held in two small people.”

Oikawa closed his eyes and swept his son’s legs from under him, holding Yukio’s weight on his left forearm while his right hand softly patted his son’s back. Yukio leaned his cheek on his elbow as he relaxed in his father’s arms, his left hand holding onto the collar of his father’s shirt while his right hand gently played with his father’s soft hair. But his eyelids were getting heavy, and his breathing was evening out from the after-cry hiccups for air.

“And I’m still scared, Yukio… Because you’re growing up… You’re not the little baby I held that day anymore… Now you’re learning about your surroundings, and you’re learning to talk…. And I’m here… Still learning to be a good dad…” Oikawa’s voice was soft, his son’s drowsiness not going unnoticed for even a second. “And I hope, as you grow up, that you’ll forgive me… For anything that I do out of ignorance… Because your learning… and I’m learning…”

And just like that, Yukio had fallen back asleep, the angle of his cheek pressed against his elbow making his little lips part and his soft breathing sound in his father’s ear.

Smiling to himself, Oikawa slowly got to his feet, “Ah… Good parenting tip, Tooru… Complain to your son about having to raise him… Good job…” It wasn’t something he readily admitted to you, he didn’t want to upset you about his thoughts on his parenting techniques – and he didn’t ever want you to think he regretted starting a family with you. Because he loved his son. He loved Yukio with his whole heart. “Maybe that’s the secret to getting him to fall asleep again… Bore him… Make him feel bad and bore him.” Oikawa let out a quite huff of amusement as he walked towards his and your bedroom, laying down with Yukio on his chest.

He hadn’t been lying. The day you’d announced your pregnancy, Oikawa had been terrified. Scared out of his mind. He’d gone to Iwaizumi for advice, only to find out that his best friend was having a baby of his own and was completely thrilled about it. Humbled by it. And yet… Oikawa didn’t have that luxury. He’d always been riddled with his self doubt, always had to put on a confident show for what he lacked. And he lacked that paternal instinct. He knew. He’d been a terrible senpai in school, and while he was an okay uncle, he known there was no way he’d be as adept as his sister in raising a child.

Yet… Here he was. Staring down at his son’s peaceful sleeping face on his chest, hearing his soft snores, feeling his little heart beating against his chest – it felt… Surreal. Unreal. His son. His Yukio.

“I’m learning, Yukio… I promise.”

I die!!! These are sooo cute! Oikawa’s was more sad than I expected but it felt very fitting for him. And I thought you wrote Ushijima just fine! Iwaizumi was darling, him with a daughter is somehow just perfect!

Win or Lose with You

imagine-that-haikyuu:

It’s my darling son Kageyama’s birthday! For the occasion, I decided to do a bit of a follow-up to the birthday fic I wrote for myself in 2016. l focused this around the lyrics to Dessa’s “It’s Only Me” like with the last one (the title comes from the refrain). Honestly, I’ve raved about her on this blog before and I love everything she does, so please listen to her stuff because it’s gr8

Anyway, happy birthday to my Sweet Blueberry Boy, Tobio

– Admin Rachel Lauren

It’s quiet when Kageyama enters the apartment. That’s to be expected, though. He left at an ungodly hour and is returning in the same fashion, but this time without your exhausted presence to welcome him home like you had seen him off. He would have loved to seen you waiting for him outside the security check at the airport to drive him home. If it hadn’t been around two in the morning, that would have been the plan. No, now your sleep goes uninterrupted by his arrival.

It’s for the best, anyway, as you have to be up for work in the morning.

Just as he sits in the foyer to take off his shoes, Kageyama hears the creak of your bedroom door opening.

“Tobio?” Your voice is soft and drenched with sleepiness. He’s heard this voice of yours so many times already, and yet there’s something so uniquely beautiful to it this time. Even with your hair a tousled mess from just waking up and the way you squint in the hallway light is a sight for sore eyes. At least for him.

“Welcome home,” you mumble. A yawn comes out to punctuate that.

Happy birthday Tobio!!!

Your eye twitched at the hand wrapped tightly around your wrist, narrowed eyes sliding up the toned arm to the culprit. “Why do you have to involve me?”

Bakagami glanced over his shoulder. “Because you’re one of the scariest people I know.”

A sweat drop appeared on the back of your head. “I never knew you had such a way with words. I’m surprised the girls aren’t falling over themselves to hear you speak!”

He scowled at the remark but chose to keep his mouth shut.

Silence fell as you made your way to the park. For what, you had no clue.

When you reached the destination, your eyes landed on a few familiar faces; Kise, who looked rather chipper. Kuroko, who wore the same blank expression as always. Koganei, who looked excited and ready to go. And Kasamatsu, who looked rather nervous.

Your gaze followed Koganei’s and you raised an eyebrow at the four girls standing off to the side. They were huddled together, whispering amongst themselves and glancing at the group of boys.

You yanked your arm free of Kagami’s grasp and narrowed your eyes into a glare, ready to demand an explanation when you were glomped by a blonde blur, knocking you back a few paces.

“I’m glad you could make it! Now we can go!” His grip around your body disappeared and he hurried over to the girls, ushering them along. Koga followed happily with Kuroko at his side, while Kasamatsu kept his distance.

Kagami gripped your forearm in a gentle but firm hold, leaning down so he could whisper in your ear. “Kise is trying to find Kasamatsu a girlfriend, but he’s useless when it comes to girls.”

You bit back the smart remark that begged to be released. “Okay… so what up with the group?”

“Kise needed two more guys, and when he asked Kuroko, Koganei-senpai said he would do it. He ended up having to beg Kuroko before he would agree.” He scoffed, shoving his hands into his shorts. “Kuroko threatened me with that damn dog, so I had to come along.”

“And I’m here because…?”

“They were short one girl and I wasn’t about to get set up with some chick I didn’t know.”

“Lovely. I knew I should have ignored your call.”

He sent you an annoyed glare, but you weren’t entirely sure it was meant for you. “If I have to suffer, you can to!”

“You’re such a good friend, Taiga.”

“Shut up.”

“Come now. Is that any way to speak to your elder?”

“Shut up.”

To say that the atmosphere was ‘awkward’ would be the world’s greatest understatement. The only ones talking were Koga and Kise, along with their dates. Honestly, you were fine with Kagami not talking to you but the silence was a bit killer, especially with the aura Kagami and Kasamatsu were giving off.

You rested your elbow on your crossed legs and plopped your cheek into your palm, playing with your shoelace to pass the time which seemed to be dragging by. God, you wish Kise would pull the plug already. His little plan obviously wasn’t working. Even when his date said something to him, all Kasamatsu would do was nod. He wouldn’t even look at her!

Your cell phone buzzed in your pocket and you shared a glance with Kagami before fishing it out and flipping it open. Why in the world was Kise texting you when you were in the SAME room?

Why are you sitting on the floor?

You held in a snort.

Because I refuse to sit next to some girl I don’t know.

Participate, please? 😦

You glanced up and caught Kise’s frown. No matter how tough you liked to believe yourself to be, that look was not something you could easily look over. You sighed before getting up off the floor, only to plop into Kagami’s lap. He grunted at the added weight, growling into your ear.

“What the hell are you doing?!”

“Shut up.” You muttered before forcing a smile as you addressed the girls. “So! What do you guys do for fun, hmm?”

“Shopping!” They giggled in unison.

You hung your head in disbelief, the corner of your lips twitching. I can’t work with this, Kise!

“A-Ano…”

Blinking blankly, you looked up at the girl sitting across from Kasamatsu. She was a small thing, probably Kuroko’s height, with hair as green as Midorima’s and eyes like emeralds. Thick rimmed glasses were positioned on her face, helping to hold back her bangs that had fallen from the braids’ grip. She fidgeted nervously, but managed to meet my eyes with confidence in her voice.

“I-I’m on the debate team at school.”

Your eyes lit up and you leaned forward. Hope! There was hope after all! “That’s cool. Ne, Yukio?”

He jumped when you nudged him in the side, his face turning a bright red as his hands tightened around his slacks. “Y-Yeah…”

You twitched again. That fool had no idea what he just agreed to! Kagami sniggered, probably at your irritation, and tried to cover it up with a few coughs. A swift nudge to the ribs had him coughing for real.

“Mou, what’s taking that idiot waiter so long?” The blonde sitting across from Kise whined, crossing her legs and causing her skirt to ride up her leg. She ended up flashing Kise, but she didn’t seem to care. She wasn’t the type to care. “I’m hungry, Ryo-kun!”

“I’ll go check and see what the hold up is!” You jumped up, a little too eager, ignoring Kise’s sharp look. Seeing how miserable he looked, you figured you’d spare poor Yukio, as well. “Give me a hand?”

His blue eyes snapped up to meet yours, as if to make sure you were speaking to him. You held your hand out in confirmation, figuring he might need some help un-sticking himself from between Kagami and Kuroko. He seemed to hesitate, swallowing hard before slipping his sweaty hand into your own. It proved just how nervous and uncomfortable he really was.

You pulled him up with ease, not bothering to spare the others a glance before you turned and left the room, pulling the younger boy along behind you. Only when you were a safe distance away did you release his hand, instead placing them in the pockets of your hoodie.

“Sorry if you wanted to stay. Just seemed like you were pretty uncomfortable.”

“Y-Yeah. Thank you.”

You glanced at him curiously. “You really didn’t wanna do this, did you?”

“I don’t have time for girls.”

You chuckled at his response and he glared at you, unamused.

“What’s so funny about that?”

“You’re only saying that because you don’t know how to handle them. That’s why Kise was trying so hard to help you.”

He didn’t respond, instead turning his head away. Guess you pissed him off.

“Well, what do I know?” You laughed, rubbing the back of your head sheepishly. “I don’t know you well enough to say either way. I was just going by what I’ve heard from Kise.”

“It’s not my fault I can’t talk to girls.” He muttered in a soft voice. You almost didn’t hear him.

“You’re talking to me, aren’t you?”

“That doesn’t count!”

“How so?” You raised a brow curiously.

“You’re different. It’s not like I’m talking to a girl when I talk to you!”

Did he just call you a guy? You think he did. This kid was about as useless as Kagami… Kise wasn’t kidding!

“I-I mean…” He stumbled over his words, eyes wide and face bright red. His mouth opened and closed as he tried to form words, but none came.

You laughed again, waving him off. “Don’t worry about it. I know I’m not the most girly thing out there. I’m one of the guys, and it’s easy to forget that I’m female.”

“I’m sorry.”

“I’m not so easily hurt, so relax.” You hadn’t realized he had stopped walking until you glanced over and found the spot next to you vacant. Before you had the chance to turn around, arms wrapped around your body from behind, pinning your arms to your side. The embrace was awkward and you could feel just how tense his body was… he really didn’t have any experience. It was actually pretty surprising, considering how good looking he is.

You tapped his arm curiously after a minute of silence. “What are you doing, Yukio?”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like it came out. I just…”

“I said it’s fine.” You laughed, patting his arm. You expected his grip to disappear, or at least loosen up a bit, but he tightened it instead.

“The truth is… I always get nervous around you. I never know what to say or do, and I always get jealous when I see how easy it is for Kise to talk to you. I just wanna smack him!”

“You should. Holding in your anger is bad for your health, ya know.” You were dead serious, too. You love Kise, but he could get on your nerves sometimes. He needed some tough love. Especially after tonight. “Your problem is that you think too much.”

You pried his arms off, turning around to meet his confused gaze. His cheeks were alight with red and something burned in the depths of his blue eyes, but you couldn’t make out what it was.

“You think too much about what to do and what to say, and you end up psyching yourself out. Don’t think so much. Be impulsive and just say or do whatever comes to mind. You can think about it later on.”

He looked down at the floor, seeming to think about what you told him. When he looked up again, there was a fire burning in his eyes. You didn’t move as he reached forward, grabbing your shoulders firmly and pulling you into his body. His lips crashed down onto your own, his hand sliding to the back of your neck to keep you in place. Your body was thrown into shock… you couldn’t move a muscle! Was Kasamatsu Yukio really kissing you? It seemed like a dream.

After a few seconds, he pulled away enough to create a few inches between your lips. Having him so close, you realized just how good looking this boy really was. With his spiked black hair and intense blue eyes, his strong features and his well-defined brow. He was almost god-like in looks. Kind of like Kise, but more masculine and rough.

You still hadn’t moved.

He must have taken that as a bad sign because he began to pull away. It was then that you realized what needed to be done.

Your hand grabbed the back of his neck to stop him in his tracks, fingers sliding through his silky hair. His eyes widened in surprise before your lips collided again, this time with more passion and want. The grip around your waist tightened as your lips moved in perfect synch.

The passion began to heat up as he pushed you against the wall, his muscled body making you groan in satisfaction as it molded against your own. You guess the sound snapped him out of whatever trance he had been in, because he jumped away from, eyes wide like saucers and his hand covering his mouth.

You licked your lips to get another taste of him, chest heaving up and down as you attempted to slow your rapidly beating heart.

The passionate air that you had just been bathed in slowly stared to fade away, making way for an air of awkwardness that you weren’t quite sure how you could break. You didn’t know how he felt, so you didn’t know what step you should take next. For all you knew, he could have been just using you for practice.

“I’m s – ”

“Don’t say it.” You scowled, rubbing the back of your head. “There’s nothing to apologize for.”

“You didn’t pull away.”

“Did you want me to?”

“No.”

Surprised by the answer, your eyes met his. The shock had faded, it seemed, and there was determination burning in the depths of his eyes. A couple steps was all it took before he was directly in front of you, his lips hovering over your own.

“I still feel nervous around you.”

You grinned, throwing your arms around his neck. “Hmm, we’ll just have to keep practicing until your not nervous anymore.”

“What about Kise?”

“Who cares. He’ll find out eventually.” You muttered, capturing his lips once more.

This time, you didn’t let him get away.

This is awesome! Love it!

Christmas with…The Pretty Setter Squad

A/N: Praise our beautiful Aphrodite children amirite

Sugawara

  • He is the BEST at hosting Christmas parties and being a part of them. He’s so kind and charismatic, it really sets the mood for a nice evening. (Also if he ever meets your parents this will make them instantly love him.)
  • Spicy food on a cold day is A+ in his book. He will, no matter what, eat the spiciest thing he can make or order (much to your amazement). If you like spicy food too he will challenge you.

Oikawa

  • Not only is he the Grand King Setter, but he’s the Grand King of ugly Christmas sweaters. Catch him with the cringiest threads he can find every day. (Also pls match with him at least once.)
  • His desired Christmas gift (if you can even call it a gift) is you two singing Christmas carols in front of Iwaizumi’s window at midnight. Hopefully you won’t die.

Kenma

  • Sorry, but once it starts getting cold outside, Kenma is strictly a homebody. He’s so sensitive to the cold it’s almost comical at times. (Open his window when he’s asleep and it’s snowing lmao he will literally jump out of the bed like a cat.)
  • Getting some hot chocolate and having a video game or movie marathon is his favorite thing to do. And being snowed in somehow makes it even more fun. He’ll cuddle up under a fluffy blanket with you too.

Kageyama

  • He hates the cold and always overdresses you for it? Like he keeps offering you his earmuffs and mittens, but you already have like 3 pairs on chill Kags.
  • He’ll wrap an arm around you in public more than once , but only because he insists he “needs warmth” not because he wants to or anything. The content look and blush on his face proves otherwise.

Akaashi

  • He doesn’t really get the hype for Christmas, but he thinks when you get excited about it it’s super cute. It makes him want to participate in the festivities.
  • He can, and will give you the best present ever. It’s always something he knows you need. It’s amazing how spot on his giving skills are.

So cute!!

Welcome back. I hope finals go well for you both! I wanted to ask for how GOM +Kagami, Imayoshi, Takao, Himuro, and Kasamatsu (sorry if there are too many) would react being caught under the mistletoe with their crush?

imagine-knb:

No need to apologize for the amount of characters! We technically don’t have a character limit, but do know that the more you ask for, the more likely the answers will be on the shorter side!

Kuroko: Despite the little bit of color that is on his cheeks, Kuroko seems to be more confident than he’s letting on. It’s almost too easy for him to lean into you, pressing a kiss to the corner of your lips. He didn’t miss; he just didn’t want to give you a full kiss in case you didn’t reciprocate his feelings.

Kagami: But he hasn’t even confessed to you yet! Kagami’s face almost matches his hair with how hard he is blushing and the words coming out of his mouth are garbled up to the point you have no idea if he’s speaking in Japanese, English, or Gibberish. You might not get a kiss if he continues for long.

Kise: It’s hard for Kise to hide the excitement on his face when he notices the mistletoe above the two of you. Trying his best to mask it, he tries to go for smooth and suave as he places a delicate finger under your chin. It’s almost too cheesy the way he tilts your face toward his so he can kiss you.

Kasamatsu: With how red his face is and how silent he was, you wouldn’t be surprised if Kasamatsu had turned into an actual tomato right before your eyes. He’s trying his best not to acknowledge the mistletoe while also glancing at it every two seconds. He definitely can’t be the one to make the first move.

Aomine: This is almost too perfect of a chance. Aomine practically traps you against the door frame, throwing one of his arms above your head as he leans in rather close from the get go. The look in his eyes says he’s hoping to turn a simple peck on the lips into something more.

Imayoshi: Knowing for a fact that you can see the mistletoe above your head, Imayoshi decides to play the role of the oblivious one. What does a mistletoe mean again? The smirk widens on his face as he watches you embarrassingly scramble to explain to him what he already knows.

Midorima: There’s a light dusting of color on his cheeks, but Midorima is mature enough to know he shouldn’t make pebbles into mountains. Despite you being his crush, he almost makes you think this is a business transaction with how formal he’s being, going so far as to ask for permission twice.

Takao: Was this crush of his supposed to be a secret? Because it obviously isn’t with the way Takao gives a little cheer when the two of you get caught under the mistletoe. He’s quick to give you a peck on the cheek and it absolutely makes his heart to somersaults when you pout at not getting anything more.

Murasakibara: The kiss tastes of sugar; of course, that’s because Murasakibara had been nibbling at some powdered cookies just before. The way you lick your lips afterward is almost too adorable and he has to stop himself from leaning down to give you another kiss.

Himuro: Making sure to let you know that the two of you could skip out on the tradition if it makes you uncomfortable, Himuro secretly hopes that you’ll be fine with him offering you a kiss. His heart starts beating faster when you lean in to give him one before he can finish asking.

Akashi: He’s not a stickler for tradition, but this is one thing that Akashi can’t pass up. The hand he has on your cheek is cold in comparison to your warming face. You glance up just in time to see a gentle smile before he’s leaning down to press his lips against yours.

So cute!!
