“What if I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids, with Sekizan? Your choice who says it! Thanks!

terriblesportsimagines:

Sorry about the wait Lovely!  I’m going to be getting back to it here pretty quickly!

Sekizan Takuya

There were some days when you were sure your heart was going
to give out.

You’d loved him so much for so long that you couldn’t
imagine not loving him.  You’d been together since you were
children – he’d always been beside you in some capacity.  When you went to
high school that changed somewhat.  His life, seemingly overnight, became
all about rugby and he immersed himself in it.  He was still one of your
best friends, but he made new friends and expanded.  If you wanted to
spend any time with him, it had to be on his schedule, which was, sadly,
packed full.  You doubted there wasn’t a moment he wasn’t training.

It made your heartache.  You wondered if this was your
future – your desire for him, and his ignorance of it.  Would you watch
him grow so far from you that you couldn’t even reach him anymore?  He’d
go to college and you were no longer sure if you could or should follow
him.  You’d always been together, right from grade school, but maybe it
was time to let go of that dream.

“Ne, Takuya?” You asked one day as, by some miracle, he had
time to walk home with you.

“Hm?” He answered, his bag, and yours, thrown over his
shoulder.

You took a deep breath, closed your eyes and said, “What if
I told you I’ve been in love with you since we were kids?”

He stopped instantly, frozen in shock.  He didn’t look
at you right away, and you were left squirming, wringing your hands in front of
you like you had done something wrong.  You hadn’t, you just wanted to let
him know, since graduation was not too far off the horizon and you felt like
you were losing him.

Finally, after several long moments, he turned to you, brows
furrowed and eyes solemn.  You swallowed and prepared for the worst.
This was when he let you down gently, when he told you that his feelings
weren’t the same, that he cared about you, but not like that.

You had your eyes lowered, so you didn’t immediately see him
move.    You did feel him put down the bags and step in front of
you.  “_____,” he murmured.

You held your breath as he loomed broad shouldered and
massive in front of you.  When his fingers hooked beneath your chin, you
allowed him to lift it.  You barely had time to process the touch before
his lips covered yours.  He kissed you so gently your heart jumped clear
to your throat and you dizzy quickly.

“I would say,” he rumbled against your lips, “That I have
loved you for forever and that I am glad you got the courage to tell me.
I would have never done it on my own.”

When your eyes opened to look at his face, he was blushing
and looked shy.  He was so adorable, you couldn’t stop yourself from
throwing your arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.  “I’m so glad…
so, so glad.”

You could almost feel his smile as he pressed it into your hair
and hugged you bag, completely oblivious to the spectacle the pair of you made
on the sidewalk.

Cute cute cute!!!! Thank you so much for this! I loved it!

I pulled a prompt starter, hope you don’t mind: “You can’t keep pretending it didn’t happen, cause guess what? It did!” Whatever you want with that with Kagami please! Thank you!

terriblesportsimagines:

I love prompt starters!  Enjoy~  I went a predictable route lol

Kagami Taiga

You weren’t
sure what you expected to happen in the aftermath.  Maybe for everything to work itself out.  Maybe for the man you loved to realize how
you felt about him.  Maybe for you not to
be sitting home alone on a Friday night just like you’d been doing for months
and months.

Maybe for said
man to realize you didn’t sleep with just anyone and that it was special.

But
apparently it wasn’t special, not to him, because since that night, you’d seen
him three times and every time he treated you exactly like he did before: just
like he treated all his friends, with laughing comradery that was completely
devoid of any romantic attachment.  He
said nothing of that night, didn’t even acknowledge it happening.

Okay, so
you’d both been a little bit drunk, but not enough to forget.  You should have realized
something was wrong when you woke up alone in bed, the only trace of him being
there was a faint warmth on the pillow and the toilet seat in your bathroom
being up.  He wasn’t the type to just run
away – he usually met things head on, like the tiger he was named after.  But there was no doubt in your mind that this
time he’s sprinted as fast as his legs could carry him.

Well, you’d
given him the chance to come to you on his own terms, and he’d failed you
miserably.  You weren’t sure what his
problem was, but you didn’t think it wasn’t because he didn’t have feelings for
you.  You remembered the words whimpered
in your ear that night, which made his attitude following that much worse.

Temper
fraying as hurt expanded, you cornered him in the hallway that led to the
bathrooms at the bar you were at with the bigger group.  He wasn’t escaping or avoiding this time, you
refused.   “Kagami.” You stated, forcing his back
against the wall and narrowing her eyes.
“We have to talk.

His heavy
brow furrowed and he looked distinctly uncomfortable.  “A-And we have do that here?”

“Yes, here,
because if you had your way, we wouldn’t talk at all.”  You snapped, furious.  “You can’t keep pretending it didn’t happen,
cause guess what? It did!”  When he
opened his mouth, you just knew something that would make you even angrier was
going to come out, so you cut him off.
“Lord help you, Kagami Taiga, if you as what it is.”

Everything
about him deflated and he looked so profoundly uncomfortable that it made your
insides clench.  Could it be
possible?  Had you misread him so
badly?  You thought your feelings were
shared, but maybe he’d just said those things in the heat of the moment.  Maybe he hadn’t meant any of them.

“What’s
there to talk about?” He muttered, unable to look at you.  “It happened… I thought we were just not going
to mention it… ever.”

It was kind
of like being stabbed in the heart, hearing those words fall from his
lips.  You reminded yourself to breathe,
that crying wasn’t a rational response to this.
“And… why would you think that?”

His face
twisted even more, but you thought you saw something very akin to despair move
through his eyes, like it was painful to speak.
“Cause… isn’t that what people do when they get drunk and sleep with
their friend?”  He swallowed
heavily.  “To stay friends… you pretend
it didn’t happen?”

You took a
deep breath.  “And that’s… what you
want?  How you feel?  You want to forget
about it?”

Kagami’s
mouth open and closed like a gaping fish.
His eyes shifted to and fro like he was afraid to meet your gaze though
you didn’t know why.  For someone who
wanted to forget it ever happened, he wasn’t doing a good job of convincing you
that was how he felt.  He sounded
hesitant to you.  He was not a man that
was good at hiding what he felt.

“I… don’t
know…” Kagami stammered, going red in the face.

That’s when
it hit you – he wasn’t a man that was good at hiding what he felt, but he was
also not a man that was particularly good with words.  You were going to have to be the one that
reached out, because he was probably afraid.
It was weird to think about, because Kagami Taiga wasn’t exactly known
for fear, but he was kind of shy
right?

Deciding
that words weren’t going to change anything or make him understand, you decided
actions would mean more to him.  They always did.  Grabbing him by the front of the shirt, you
yanked him down to your level and took over his lips with yours.  You were merciless in your kiss, not giving
him a moment to breath or even react before you made it more solid.  You slowed down after that, giving him a
chance to escape if that’s what he wanted, just brushing the tip of your tongue
along the bottom of his lip to give him an idea of what you wanted.

He seemed to
flounder for a few seconds, just long enough to give you second thoughts.  Just as you were thinking about pulling away
and going to drown yourself, he reacted with the force of a hurricane.  He dragged you against him completely and
took control of the kiss, clutching you for dear life.  He deepened the kiss of his own accord,
dueling you, though truthfully, you didn’t put up much of a fight.  You were just left hanging on.

“Damn it,”
he swore, tearing his lips from yours.
His arms were so tight around you that there was barely room to
breathe.  “Of course I don’t fucking mean
it.”

Your cheek
touched his chest and you could hear how fast his heart was beating.  “T-Taiga-”

“I love
you!” He whispered fiercely.  “I’ve
always…. Always loved you.  I thought you
didn’t… I’m sorry.  I’m an idiot.”

Smiling, you
tipped your head back and squeezed him.
“That doesn’t matter now.  As long
as you keep kissing me and you take me home now.”

Kagami made
a sound like a dying man and kissed you once more, pushing you back.  “Gladly.”

Awwwww Taiga! This was great!! Thank you!!

Could I have a scenario of Kise and Narumiya meeting for the first time? I feel like they may clash because they’re hella similar

terriblesportsimagines:

Oh my god.  I had trouble with this one, and the ask that will be posted tomorrow.  They are hella similar.  I would say that Mei is probably more diva than Kise, but Kise’s probably more immature-seeming.  But they are so much a like lol

Also, I had to throw in mention of s/os, which I went back and forth on the gender neutral thing and then decided to do it that way.  I think it looks weird, but that’s okay.

Kise Ryouta and Narumiya Mei

Mei’s eyes narrowed, his fists clenched at his side as he
glared at the much taller blond.  The other boy outsized him by almost six
inches and at least twenty-five pounds, but he wasn’t about to let that
intimidate him in anyway.  Why should he be intimidated out of what he
wanted?  So what if the guy was bigger, he wasn’t half as good looking or
talented.  Who only got one ear pierced anyway?  “Back off, I was
here first,” Mei announced in a bossy tone that said fall in line, peon.

Kise, however, was not about to let some tiny brat come
between him and what he wanted, so he glared back in exactly the same
manner.  “You must be delusional, because I was here first!” He
shot back, stiffening his back to make the height difference more apparent.

“Oh my god, would you look at those guys, talk about hot
right?” A feminine whispered drifted over from a group of girls standing before
a display case some feet away.

“I wouldn’t mind climbing ether of them, if you know
what I mean,” another giggled.

Kise pouted.  Why can’t they see I’m way
better looking that this twerp?

Mei’s grin stretched at the conversation, victory flashing
through his eyes.  Kise wondered how he could possibly considered that was
win, since they hadn’t actually made a decision one way or another-

“It’s a fucking cupcake,” Aomine broke out from behind Kise,
growling.  “Just pick another flavor, I don’t want to be here all day,
Kise.”

“Maybe I’ll get that cupcake and end the drama?” Carlos
drawled, a wicked grin on his face.

“No!” Kise and Mei shouted at the same time, turning to
glare at their respective friends.

“It’s my partner’s favorite,” Kise sniffed, giving Mei an
imperious look.  “You can’t have it.”

Mei scoffed.  “Look, I don’t care about your
partner, but it’s my partner’s favorite too, so I’m buying it!”

Shirakawa rolled his eyes, while Itsuki began to look more
and more pained.  Carlos, however, laughed, his grin just a touch
mean.  “Oho, maybe you’re dating the same person?  Someone with a
thing for pretty blonds?” He suggested.

Aomine immediately snorted, while Kuroko sighed,
preemptively grimacing.  Kise and Mei both wore identical scandalized
expressions, mouths falling open and eyes widening.  “That’s not-” Kise
sputtered, turning a little red.

“Impossible!” Mei screeched, eyes blazing.  “My ____
would never-”

Carlos doubled over laughing and Aomine with him.  “I
can’t believe you would take that seriously based on cupcake flavor
preferences,” Carlos crowed, tears in his eyes.

At the same time, the two blonds eyes iced over, looking
first at their friends, then at each other.  “Like someone like you could
ever be good enough for my, ____cchi,” Kise stated coldly.  “I’m taking
it.”

“As if I’d even want someone you already had,” Mei replied,
lips curled into a sneer.  “I’m taking it.”

Kuroko sighed again, looking skyward as if to ask for
patience.  “Why don’t you both calm down and settle this maturely, like
with rock paper scissors or something.”

“Mei, mature… right,” Itsuki muttered.

Mei’s hand shot out and grabbed his kohai by the cheeks,
squeezing roughly.  “Itsuki!  Don’t disrespect your senpai!” He
snapped, still glaring at Kise.  “Fine, then, I’m game.  Unless
you’re too afraid to lose?”

“Like I’d ever be afraid of you,” Kise responded,
thrusting his hand forward.  “Let’s do this.”

“I can’t believe this,” Shirakawa muttered, covering his
eyes.  “Mei, you’re an idiot.”

Mei was too involved in his game to hear this, however. The
first two throws were draws, Kise won the third, and Mei the fourth.  Just
as they were gearing up to do the last round, Itsuki spoke up, “Um… would now
be a bad time to point out that the cupcake you both wanted just got sold?”

“WHAT?!”

This is hilarious

How about a scenario of Yūki Tetsuya’s girlfriend comforting him after the loss that cost him going on to Nationals? Angst to fluff maybe? Thank you!

terriblesportsimagines:

These are sad memories *weep* my third years…  Admittedly, I am 100% Ryou, and Miya, but I miss Tetsu’s unintentional hilarity…

Yuki Tetsuya

The guilt and pain sat heavily within him.  If he’d
just been able to hit a little better, been quicker to grab outs, inspired his
team just that much more, they might have won.  He should have said
something to Sawamura, to calm him down, because it was obvious to everyone
that the first year’s shoulders were tight.  But he’d left that sort of
thing to Miyuki who surely knew better than he did…

And now his high school career was over.  Cut short
before it could really flourish.

Regret was a bitter pill to swallow, though not entirely
unfamiliar.  It wasn’t the first time, but, he supposed, it would be the
last time.  In high school at least.

He felt the worst for his teammates.  They had looked
to him to lead them, to make the difference, to bring runners home.  And
he’d failed even in that…

“Tetsu…”

Yuki looked up, not really paying attention to his
surroundings as he wandered around the school grounds a little aimlessly.
He was basically killing time.  It would be summer vacation starting
tomorrow, and for the first time, he wouldn’t have to present himself at
practice every day during holidays.  That thought alone caused a lancing
pain to spread through his chest.

He realized faintly that he hadn’t seen you since before the
game yesterday.  This was pretty unusual, since you were always the first to
greet him after a game.  But then, he’d been solely concerned with his
devastated teammates and getting them ushered to the bus and back to
school.  And then he’d helped Jun move, and everything had been sullen and
silent.  There hadn’t been any time for you.

He looked at you now, your eyes soft and kind, and his
throat burned.  You understood, if not directly, then in general, and you
got him better than anyone else.  He felt lost, unable to control the
devastation of the loss, but also unable to let it out.  He had to be
strong.  He was the captain.

Though, he wasn’t anymore, was he?

When your arms opened, he went right to you.  He
circled his arms around your waist in response, burying his face against your
neck in attempt block out the world and the harsh reality of never making
Koshien in his entire three years.  Your scent was comforting and your
skin warm and Yuki used these things to focus himself, to leech the strength he
felt had fled him.

Your hand moved over his head, your other arm tight about
his shoulders, and for that moment he thought maybe things would be okay.
Not everything was over – high school, maybe, but there was more baseball in
his future for sure.  And he still had you, his beautiful, wonderful
girlfriend who had stood by him through never ending training and barely being
able to see him.

“I’m sorry,” you murmured into his hair.  “I know it
doesn’t feel like it, but you played amazing.”

It didn’t feel like it, but you were probably more objective
than he was at that moment.  Yuki grunted, unable to find the correct
words to express himself, but knowing you would understand all the same.

“There’s only a few minutes of lunch left… but would you
like to hang out after school?  I’ll buy you soba?” You said softly, still
holding him.

Yuki sighed, tightening his embrace.  He was supposed
be going to practice, but there was no practice anymore, and if he had to do
something else, spending time with you would definitely top the list.
“Okay.”

“Good,” you smiled, pulling back a bit to press a kiss to
his head.  “I’ll listen if you want to talk.”

Yuki blinked slowly, hesitant to release you, because the
pain wasn’t so bad when you were in his arms.  “Thank you, ____-chan.”

My heart burns!!! You capture the emotions so well!! Thank you for this somber but beautiful piece, so very well done!

aomine scenario when his wife cries after he comes home from work because she missed him (he just left her for several hours to go to work but still she’s pregnant and has mood swings lol) she wants to cuddle and wants him to rubbing her tummy? ah thanks

terriblesportsimagines:

Yay cuddles!  Posting this makes me feel better about the Aomine angst I wrote for a later ask today~

Aomine Daiki

“Are you kidding me?” Aomine growled the moment he stepped
through the door and you came flying at him, your face awash in tears.

He tried to remind himself that this was a side effect of
the hormones, that you weren’t really this needy and clingy, that he
just had to be patient with you.  He didn’t want to think about how you
would react to being snapped at.  Thus, even though he was tired and a
little cranky, he set down his things and took you into his arms.

“Daiki…” You murmured, pressing your face into his chest as
your arms cinched around his waist.  “I’m sorry… I Just-everything-”

Aomine clicked his tongue, cutting you off.  “Never
mind that,” he said, voice a little impatient.  “You got pregnancy brain
or some shit right?  You’re the one carrying our brat, the least I could
do is listen to you bawl.”

The offhand comments broke your teary hysteria.  You
snorted, shoulders shaking with laughter that seemed to come out of
nowhere.  “Don’t call our baby a brat, you jerk,” you complained, lifting
your head to present your face for a kiss.

Aomine obliged, bending to kiss you softly.  “It’s your
kid, course it’s gonna be a brat.”

You burst into giggles, your eyes clearing completely.
“Yeah right!  You mean it’s your kid.  You’re the brat here.”

Relieved that you seemed to be doing better already, Aomine
gave you a haughty look.  “You married me, what does that say?”

Your expression turned soft, and Aomine felt something in
his gut twist, just like it always did when you looked at him like that
He loved when you did, but it always made him feel embarrassed and had his ears
burning.  Every time.

“Don’t look at me like that,” he grunted, lips twisting.

You were unaffected by his grump and smiled.  “Cuddle
with me?  Baby needs his daddy.”

Truthfully, he was hungry and wanted to take a shower, but
it wasn’t like he could actually say no to you.  You were going through a
lot of pain and suffering to bring his kid into the world and he loved you for
it.  It was a small price to pay.

Stooping a little, he swung you up into his arms and
wandered into the living room.  You squeaked, blushing a little, which
made him laugh.  It was good he could still get these kinds of faces out
of you, despite years of being together.  “D-Daiki!  I’m heavy…”

“Oya?” He replied in a drawl.  “News to me.”

Your flush darkened and he grinned, even as he set you both
down on the couch.  Positioning you between his knees with your back
against his chest, he picked up the remote and turned on the tv, flipping it to
some stupid game show he knew you liked.  Then, setting his chin on your
shoulder, he wrapped his arms around you and placed his hands over your swollen
belly.

The baby kicked heavily against his hands and Aomine felt
something settle deep inside him.  “Mn, maybe it’s mine after all.”

I died, this is sooooo cute AND you kept him so in character! Well, done!

AHHHHH I LOVED THE BABY AKASHI SCENARIO SO MUCH. CAN I GET A SCENARIO WHERE ALL THE GOM AND EVEN KAGAMIS KIDS MEET AND HAVE A PLAY DATE WHERE THE DADS ARE SUPERVISING AND HOW THEY INTERACT. ALSO PLEASE MAKE AOMINE MARRY MOMOI IF POSSIBLE. THANKS <3

terriblesportsimagines:

Okay, so I’m posting this today, even though I just wrote it and I never do that, because it’s pure gold and I adore it.

Keep in mind that I don’t have kids, so I 100% don’t know what they actually sound like.  That’s why I’ve kept the ages ambiguous.  They probably still sound too old, but
¯_(ツ)_/¯

For convenience, I’ve named them all.  Also, they probably have more kids, but these are the only ones here, because eight is still too many!

Please read this hilarity! Cut for length

This is amazing!
