Who would Seijoh Fall For?

A/N: I wasn’t originally going to do the First and Second years but I did them anyway? Hopefully I pegged them right 🙂 enjoy!

Oikawa: He finds himself attracted to level-headed, down-to-Earth people who have a fun-loving side to them as well. He doesn’t really have a preference for introverts or extroverts, but it’d be best for whoever he dates to be accustomed to meeting other people and going to games or parties. Oikawa gets stressed easily because he overworks himself and bottles up this side of him/negative emotions in general in order to not distract from his cheery, popular side. Someone who’d be there for him at his worst and won’t judge him and also get him to vent would be great. They need to be sympathetic towards his issues, but strong-minded and won’t let him keep up with behaviors that hurt him or others around him. They also need to understand how important volleyball is to him and can work with his schedule. He’s a pretty affectionate guy too, so anyone receptive to that would be ideal.

Iwaizumi: He prefers people with personality traits similar to his (responsible, rational, mature) but are more animated and childlike (idealistic and inspiring, not immature and overly emotional) than he is. He would enjoy someone with an optimistic view on life and is loyal to the people they associate with. He also likes people who are strong-willed and take charge of situations instead of being a follower or pitying themself. A calm, caring spirit would suit him well, too.

Matsukawa: A chill person with a mischievous side is the perfect match for him. Mattsun just wants someone who’s low maintenance and can have deep conversations with, but can also pal around with him and crack dumb jokes with. He can also be a a tease, so he needs someone who won’t get offended at his comments easily.

Hanamaki: Similar to Matsukawa, Makki wants someone he can easily make jokes with and will tolerate his occasional teasing, however, he prefers more outgoing/louder people to calm people. He also likes people with loud or odd laughter, he really enjoys hearing it and it makes him crack up as well. Also he’s pretty keen on pranks, so someone good at them would be a huge plus in his book.

Kyoutani: Mad Dog-chan gravitates towards people quite unlike him. People who are helpful, kind, and sympathetic towards others catch his eye. His general awkwardness and “tsundere” personality requires whoever he falls for to be outspoken and understanding so they can catch on to the true feelings underlying his intimidating exterior and let him know how they feel.

Yahaba: Definitely more of an introvert man. He likes people who are more on the academic side but can appreciate his love for sports, and respects others. Straight-forward, mature people with a little fire to their personality really strike his fancy. Also someone willing to put him in his place and is unafraid to give others reality checks (without sounding patronizing) is fantastic to him.

Kindaichi: He is a fan of more reserved people who are direct and in control of themselves and their emotions. They must be independent and self-reliant, people who are overly needy or attempt to boss him around in a relationship will drive him away. He prefers those with knowledge of experience with volleyball or play other sports, but book smart people are not entirely unlikable in his eyes.

Another amazing assessment! These feel very true to these characters! Great job!!

GABBY my bby! How are you doing? Can I get a Kasamatsu and Aomine scenario (separate) where their S/O is incredibly frustrated with everything to the point she wants to quit her job and stop being nice to people? (she’s reached her breaking point and doesn’t know what to do..) fluff ending would be preferable please? :D

baesketballers:

AOMINE

He watches as you sluggishly make way to your shared bedroom in your modest apartment, eyes wide when he sees you slump face-first on the soft surface of the sheets. He meant to offer you some popcorn with the bowl he has in hand—an NBA game is playing on TV—but he ditches the idea, placing the bowl on the nearest counter top before pacing to get to where you are.

“Welcome home,” he says warily as he observes you from the doorway. You look dead if not for your garbled, incorrigible response. He approaches you, sitting slowly on the bed next to you, a large palm on your shoulders. You are still carrying your backpack.

“Hey,” he calls out again, “you okay?”

“I want to sleep forever,” you murmur back, and that is when he knows it is more than just a bad day. He scoops you from behind by your underarms like someone would handle a kitten, easily lifting you up to a sitting position facing him. Deft hands help you get rid of your backpack, which ends up sliding down the bed and to the floor with a light thump. Warm arms wrap around you, and you realize that your face is buried against his chest—a position in which you feel complete protected.

He hears your light sobs and brings you impossibly closer as he gently strokes your hair, a behavior that juxtaposes his gruff self so strongly that your heart wrenches even more.

“Do you want to talk about it?”

“I’m tired,” you whisper, “so tired, Daiki, I just wish I could quit.”

He kisses the top of your head, making you want to sob into his chest all the more, but then he tips your head up to look him in the eyes before planting a soft kiss on your lips. You feel his breath against you, sending pleasant shivers down your spine, but the pain you have endured the whole day is not yet forgettable.

“I don’t want to go tomorrow,” you say defeatedly, “I don’t want to meet them ever again.”

And then he descends again, sapphire eyes seemingly glowing in the dark room before he closes his eyes as he kisses you again, this time with more passion.

“Don’t worry, babe, I’m going to make you forget about them,” you hear him say as the hand around your waist caresses the skin under your shirt, “and then I’ll call you in sick tomorrow so we can figure this out.” You gasp when he moves to nip at your neck instead—Aomine might not be so eloquent in sweet things, but his methods of distraction are as equally effective.

“Just relax for now. I’ll take care of you.”

KASAMATSU

The sound of your bag hitting the side of the couch is the first thing he hears after the slam of the front door, and seconds later he spots your figure rushing to the bathroom before he hears another slam and a click. His previously relaxed temperament turns into that of murky worry and anxiety, but he has a clue as to what is making you so upset.

With a slight frown on his face—it hurts him to see you like this—he approaches the bathroom door, trying to detect sounds of anything going on beyond the slab of wood, but upon hearing none, he knocks slowly.

You hear him call out your name, his voice gentle and slightly muffled from outside the bathroom, and you lift your head only to see your horrible reflection in the mirror. Your hair a mess, your face… well, you have looked better, but the day took a toll on you, and it seems like it is not just mentally. You sigh, washing your face as quick as possible before stepping out. You hate worrying him, but you cannot take back that dramatic entrance you executed a minute ago—there is no way you can pretend it is nothing now.

Maybe you can lie that you really wanted to pee.

No, you shake your head in disdain. There is no escaping him.

“Hey,” you meekly call out once you open the door, slightly embarrassed at your outburst and what you did with the entrance door. He cups your cheek with a hand, his thumb stroking you so gently that you feel the burden on your shoulders vaporize almost immediately.

“Hey,” he echoes, “what happened?”

You slowly close the distance between your bodies in a hug, one that he instantly reciprocates. With the reassurance of his hand on your back, you reply, “They’re horrible,” and then after a long sigh, “they’re all horrible.”

Kasamatsu ushers you towards the couch, where you are sat comfortably before you find yourself in his arms again.

“You don’t deserve this,” he quietly says, leaving loving strokes on your back to calm you down. “I think talking about it is only going to make you worse, though,” he continues, and you nod.

“I’ll fix you a drink and we can relax for a bit, okay? Don’t worry about tomorrow, I’ll let your boss know that you need some time off.” Your boyfriend pecks your temple before standing up to make his way to the kitchen, but you tug at his hand and he understands, trying not to let the smugness get to you at the sight of his blushing checks.

“I get it, I get it,” he murmurs, resorting to litter kisses against the skin of your neck, conveniently hiding his reddening face from you.

I won’t leave you.

Sweet supportive boys!

First Date [Kasamatsu Yukio]

imagine-knb:

I hope you guys like Kasamatsu because you’re about to get a lot of him.

Sitting alone at the
top of a play set’s slide, [Name] idly played games on her cellphone as
she waited. Clouds had started to blow in from the East, covering the
sun every so often and casting shadows on the ground below. [Name] hoped
it wasn’t a bad omen.

Turning her game off, [Name] glanced at the time displayed on the glowing screen before heaving a sigh of disappointment. 12:30.

“He’s half an hour late…” [Name] muttered as she felt her stomach rumble.

After
Kasamatsu had accepted her offer of going on a date, the two had
discussed what days they would both be free. Well, more like she had
discussed while he simply grunted in response, shaking in his shoes.
Eventually, the two had agreed upon a lunch date that Sunday evening.
Something simple that the both of them could handle which would also
allow the two of them to get to know each other better. They had agreed
to meet in the park where the basketball teams often met and [Name] had
arrived twenty minutes early, excited to see the older male. However, as
time crawled on, she was finding it difficult to stay patient.

“I can’t believe he stood me up…”

Pushing
off and sliding down to the bottom of the play set, [Name] resolved to
just go home. As she walked, she bit the side of her cheek to stop the
tears that were prickling at her eyes from flowing. Blinking back her
emotions proved to be a tad difficult as she brushed past strangers
walking through the park. She grumbled to herself and glared at the
ground while making her way towards the park’s exit. It was ridiculous
of her to think she could have a happy time with the guy she liked for
so long.

Finally reaching the sidewalk outside the park, she took
the first few steps that would take her home. By now her tears had
receded and the only emotion left was borderline apathy towards the
situation. She barely noticed the dark haired male that ran passed her.
If he hadn’t accidently bumped shoulders with her, muttering an apology
as he hurried past, she would’ve mistaken him for someone else.

“Kasamatsu-senpai?”

Hearing
his name, the hurrying male came to a stuttering stop as he turned
towards the voice that had called out to him. He was panting hard from
running all the way from the station and a thin layer of sweat had
started to break out on his skin. He cursed whoever had stopped him on
the sidewalk, knowing full well that he was more than half an hour late
for his rendezvous by now. When his eyes landed on the Seirin female
however, he knew instantly that he had already screwed up.

“[Name]-san,
I-I thought we were going to m-meet in the p-park,” Kasamatsu said
through his heavy breathing. Inwardly, he awarded himself for not
stuttering as much as usual, but chalked it up to the fact he was trying
hard to catch his breath.

“You’re late.”

Her near apathetic
response shocked the third year. Lifting his shaking hand to rub at the
back of his neck, he felt a shameful heat reach towards his cheeks as
he avoided her gaze.

“Y-y-yeah… S-sorry…”

He gave no excuse
for his tardiness, wondering to himself if it would even make a
difference if he had. She was upset with him. He had screwed up majorly
and she probably didn’t want anything to do with him now. Silence
consumed the both of them as they stood on the sidewalk, the people
passing by giving them small glances. Two minutes passed with them
standing there in silence before Kasamatsu decided to open his mouth and
apologize again, but a low rumbling cut him off before he could get a
word out.

“A-ah…” He looked down at the younger girl and watched
as her cheeks reddened. Her eyes refused to meet his as she placed her
hands around her stomach in a vain attempt to hush the organ.
Sheepishly, she glanced at him after her stomach had settled once more.
“I-I’ve been waiting for our lunch date all day.”

Kasamatsu made a noise of understanding as he scratched at his cheek. “I-If you want, we can still g-go… To l-lunch, I mean.”

The
offer was left hanging in the air for a tense moment as [Name] thought
over his offer. Kasamatsu could practically hear his own heart beating,
reminding him of the adrenaline rush he got from being on a basketball
court. Only the feeling he was getting now was more sickening, making
him want to run. Part of him wished she would reject his proposal so he
could go home and save himself from further embarrassment, but the
majority of him knew that if that happened, he would be emotionally
crushed.

“Sure,” [Name] answered quietly. Suddenly, she put her
hands on her hips as she looked away with a slight pout. “But you’re
paying since you’re the one who was late for our date.” Her cheeks
reddened as she reminded him of their date, in turn causing his own
cheeks to redden.

“A-ah, y-yeah,” Kasamatsu agreed, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders.

Nodding
to each other in agreement, the two started making their way to town
where most of the restaurants and cafés were located. They walked side
by side in silence, not looking at each other as they turned corners and
crossed streets. It wasn’t until the sun had been completely covered by
unnoticed clouds and the first few fat drops of rain had started
falling that either of them had made a sound. In a panic to get out of
the rain and stay close together, Kasamatsu instinctively latched his
hand onto [Name]’s smaller one, setting the pace as they ran for cover.
[Name] felt a heated blush make its way towards her cheeks as she
noticed their intertwined hands. She had to fight the urge to comment on
how adorable she found the action.

“Oh man, my hair is going to
get all frizzy,” [Name] whined, tugging at a strand of hair with her
unoccupied hand as the two of them made their way under the veranda of
the nearest café. Though they hadn’t been in the rain for long, water
still dripped slowly from their hair and clothing. As they both stared
out into the downpour, they wondered how each of them would be getting
home safely today. “After lunch, I can call my mom to come pick us up.
We’ll drive you to the station.”

“S-sure.” Kasamatsu said, thankful that he wouldn’t have to brave more of the rain in order to make it home.

[Name]
smiled up at him, her eyes meeting his nervous steel blue ones as she
nodded her head towards the café behind them. Catching the hint,
Kasamatsu stiffly nodded as he led her inside, standing with her in line
so that they’re lunch date could begin. The smile on her face stayed
there the entire time as she looked around the quaint café they had
stumbled upon. Slowly, his own small smile made its way onto his face as
he watched her.

Maybe he hadn’t screwed up so bad after all.

{EXTRA}

“Hey, Kasamatsu-senpai?”

The older teen looked towards his younger companion as they waited in line to be seated, his eyes asking his unspoken question.

“I think it’s really cute that you’re still holding my hand.”

Letting
go of her hand, a string of broken apologies sputtered out of his lips
as Kasamatsu flushed red, shaking from more than just the cold rain now.
[Name] could only grin before she burst out laughing at his reaction,
causing him to yell in embarrassed frustration.

No, he hadn’t screwed up the date after all.

I love Kasamatsu-senpai!

serves-up:

Who would Karasuno fall for?

A/N: Here is something I made on a whim lmao. I hope it can help you guys with how I do matchups, and it can help you do them as well. Also, these are just my HC and they are pretty broad. I’m sure any of these boys can make it work w/ anyone as long as there is love.

Lemme know if you want another one for a different school!

Daichi: Someone driven, ambitious, and/or focused. He likes people who are passionate and know what they’re about, but are humble and caring towards others. He doesn’t really mind whether they are outgoing or not, but overly shy people wouldn’t work out well with him (he’s just very social due to being a captain and his partner will most likely have to meet a lot of people through him) Also, someone with sass or spunk is a huge plus in his book.

Suga: Like Daichi, he is drawn towards people who have a sass to them but are caring. Suga tends to go for shyer, “bookwormish” people who have a more extroverted side to them when you get to know them. Suga tends to be a nurturer too, so anyone he can take care of (and will also take care of him in return) would be great.

Asahi: He can go two ways. Someone loud, proud, and basically the total opposite of him (yet is kind and can encourage him) is pretty much a perfect match for Asahi. They would keep him on his toes and prevent him from succumbing to his own anxiety at times. However, someone who seems meek and sweet but doesn’t take shit of any caliber would work just as fine.

Hinata: He really doesn’t need much from a partner? Just someone to engage in his hype for volleyball and just be supportive of him. However, he does need someone who is mature(ish) and can “keep him in check”. He’s more of a beneficial person to date, though. His enthusiasm and optimism is infectious.

Kageyama: Kags isn’t a very needy person and he’s focused on his sport. So someone who can support him and either plays or has knowledge about volleyball would be best for him. He can be awkward and cold at times, so someone who can take charge of conversations and PDA and make him see the brighter sides of things would be great too. He’d feel more comfortable around them and unafraid to share his true feelings instead of closing them off.

Tanaka: Tanaka has a innate attraction to shyer girls, like Suga. Although, that aspect doesn’t really matter. Anyone who’s willing to have a “best-friend” type of relationship with him and engage in his antics will do him well. Also, someone who isn’t easily intimidated and can see past his rough exterior would make him SO HAPPY. He also really likes stereotypically “cute” people (but who isn’t cute in Tanaka’s eyes lmao). He also wants someone he can care for/protect? He just wants to feel like a necessity in a relationship.

Nishinoya: Like Tanaka, Noya tends to fall for cute people and prefers a “best friend” type of relationship. He can also go two ways with a partner as well. Shyer people can benefit from him since he’s so loving and encouraging, and he’ll enjoy the quiet moments and conversation they give him. And they can easily be attracted to him since he can be pretty introspective and observant too. But on the other hand, Noya can do just as well with someone similar to him. Yeah he’d be pretty loud/outgoing with this person, but all around it’s an adorable, supportive relationship.

Tsukishima: Idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I don’t see Tsukki falling for anyone very outgoing, unless they were more on the quiet side. Tsukishima would quickly find himself falling for someone with a strong mind (not necessarily smart? Just isn’t easily manipulated and has good common sense) and quick wit, who genuinely cares about whatever they do and is honest. Someone materialistic or superficial would instantly make him dislike the person. Also someone with thick skin who doesn’t mind some teasing coming their way from time to time would suit him.

Yamaguchi: This boy…I’m sure he could fall for pretty much anyone on the introvert/extrovert spectrum as long as they weren’t overly extroverted or overly introverted (like “i wanna stay in the house all day” type of introvert). Someone with a sweet disposition would attract him immediately and could be tender towards him. Like Tsukishima, superficial people would drive him away. He’s insecure about people liking him (since usually people want his friend’s number) so someone who would encourage him and give him validation would be great. Yamaguchi is a great inspiration as well, so someone dating him can expect to be encouraged by him too in their low moments.

I loved all of these and I think you nailed them perfectly!
