Heya! Can you please write headcanons for Kuroo, Iwaizumi and Oikawa with a s/o who is feeling really stressed and has a breakdown? They usually don’t really show when they are feeling anxious etc but they have been so stressed that now they can’t hide it anymore

mme-hajime:

cHey,

I sure can; I hope you like these and that maybe they’ll help you if you feel stressed and close to a breakdown. *hugs*

Kuroo

  • Kuroo has been noticing something was bothering you for a while now; At first he assumed it was just a stressful day, but he grew more and more suspicious and was wondering why you’d try and hide your feeling anxious from him;
  • But he decided to accept it for now and not push you too much, knowing too well that sometimes you need some time and a little space to figure things out or share a burden
  • He keeps teasing and provoking you, but you’ve put up a front for it, playing along; He decides not to push too hard, convinced that once you’re ready to share it with him, you will; He keeps hoping that you’ll come to him once it gets too much, so when you break down he is not only shocked but incredibly worried
  • He will take great care of you, will wrap you in his arms and not let you go until you stop shaking, until you feel slightly better; If you are the type of person that needs space at first, he will give it to you as well – but he will make sure to be close so once you’re ready to talk, he’ll be there
  • The moment you feel well enough again, he will take you somewhere nice – one of the places you loved to go when you felt melancholy well up inside of you; One of your secret hiding places; He wants to give you comfort in every way possible
  • He wants you to feel safe and as you breathe in fresh air and calm yourself down, he starts to tell you how scary this was; How he froze for a second, his mind racing at seeing you break down like that.
  • He wants you to understand that you’re not alone; That even if you feel silly or scared, alone or misunderstood – he is there to talk to and he will never judge you for anything; He will support you always, and he would gladly help you with anything you need, if you’d just confide in him
  • Once he gets all his feelings off of his chest (he was really scared there), he will hug you tight – he won’t let you go for a while, both for you and for him. He needs to feel you close, needs to know you’re there and alright

Iwaizumi

  • Iwaizumi is used to watching Oikawa carefully – his best friend has the habit of trying to hide his true self, especially his inner demons, away and put on a happy face for the outside
  • So he is able to see through you and knows you’re fighting some things on your own, your mind full of thoughts, doubts and other worries
  • He will not beat around the bush, and he will make sure you know that he knows; He won’t push you or force you to share, but he will make sure you always know he is there
  • Anytime he notices you act differently, he will wrap an arm around you and squeeze you, give you a kiss to your forehead – or he will try to get your mind off of it, talking about something else entirely, but never too obviously
  • Once you’ve reached that point and have a breakdown, Iwaizumi is very concerned – he didn’t think it had gotten that bad, your act of trying to seem like your usual safe having hidden away how serious it actually was
  • He will pick you up and carry you some place he knows you feels safe; He won’t let you down, not even under your protests; He can’t believe he let this happen, and he will make sure to care for you in the best way possible
  • Lot’s of cuddles and hugs, lot’s of reassurance – Iwaizumi will shower you with love before he asks you about what was weighing on your mind; He wants to know, wants to share your burden to make it easier
  • And while this was a horrifying experience, if it makes you open up to him and lean on him more, it was worth it
  • Which is why he makes sure you’ll know that you can always come to him with anything; He will declare his love for you all over, all those little things you’re anxious about yourself? He loves them. Every fault you think you might have, to Iwaizumi those make you special and endearing.

Oikawa

  • Is very good at noticing things, even if you try to hide it; But he gets the impulse to hide things like these so he usually just tries to be by your side and make you feel good without asking too many questions;
  • When you suddenly do have a breakdown, Oikawa notices that something was different immediately; You seemed off in a way that differed from your usual calm exterior; It was like he could see you break in slow motion, horror and terror spreading inside of him
  • You’ve been stressed so much, it seems you’ve reached your limit and Oikawa will make sure you’ll rest up now; This was about you, and he will make sure to care for you in the best way he knows how
  • He won’t pester you with questions, but he will be firm – whatever stressed you out he will make sure that you’ll avoid it for now; Any pressure, deadlines or toxicity that made you such a mess, Oikawa will deal with it swiftly
  • He will make you comfortable; On the bed, on your couch, he will make you your favorite drink (hot choco, tea, anything) and he will just stay with you, playing with your hair until you feel better
  • Once you do, he will scold you because he feels like you didn’t lean on him enough and he wants to make sure you know you can always come to him
  • Whatever makes you anxious, Oikawa wants to be there for you, to give you strength when you need it; He understands that there are things you have to do alone, have to go through and have victory over by yourself, but he had to learn the hard way not to overestimate what he can actually bear
  • He will tell you about himself, of his own doubts and anxiety, to let you know that everyone has issues – and that it is how we deal with them that will make us overcome those in the long run
  • He’ll hug you tight, will watch your favorite shows and movies & he will make you laugh a lot once he told you all the serious things – they needed to be said; And now he wants to be there for you, turning this day around for the better

Sweet, soft, supportive boys are my jam. These were all of those things!

can you do hc for kuroo, bokuto, and oikawa where they come to fem!s/o’s house for the first time and there’s just,,,so many,,,animals. like what their reaction might be like (ex; i have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a pig, a turtle, and a bunny)

You have a fun sounding house!!! I love animals! I’ll gear this based on your numbers!

Kuroo

  • Contrary to common belief, Kuroo is not just a cat person. He likes a wide variety of animals, cats just happen to be his favorite.
  • Your kitties immediately fall prey to his charms (who can blame them, you did too after all) and are all over him, vying for lap space.
  • By the time you return from the kitchen with snacks, he’s got one on each leg, scratching their ears while the three pups look on wistfully.
  • “Sorry guys, I only have so much room,” he says with a grin.

Bokuto

  • SUPER excited because his parents won’t let him get a pet, so he’s in heaven at your place.
  • Immediately gets on the ground to play with the dogs, playing tug of war, wresting around and generally making such a ruckus the cats look like they will never forgive nor come near him ever.
  • Becomes the best doggie step parent on the planet, constantly asking to take them with him on his runs.
  • You actually get a little miffed that he seems to call to play with them more than you.
  • But he’s so sweet and cute and earnest that you quickly forget your ire and decide to just go with them. The exercise is good for you anyway.

Oikawa

  • “You have a bunny!” Oikawa becomes positively enamored with the fluffy creature, talking baby talk to it.
  • Coos and awes as it eats baby carrots out of his hand.
  • Holds the bunny on his lap the entire time he’s there
  • The next time he comes over, he brings rabbit treats and a scarf “because he needs to look fashionable”.
  • Constantly takes pictures of the bunny and selfies with it, showing them off at school so much everyone just assumes it’s his.

Haikyuu Father’s Day Headcanons

I woke up feeling domestic today so in honor of Father’s Day I put together some random headcanons for some of the Haikyuu boys. I hope you enjoy them and happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Karasuno

Daichi has been teased for being the “dad’ of his group for years so it’s no surprise he takes to fatherhood officially like a fish to water. He is the king of shoulder rides and tickle fights.

Sugawara is the best at bedtime stories, often coming up with “multi-chapter” renditions he continues one night after the other. It’s his ploy to get the kids to bed. “Well, if you want to know what happens to Marxa and Meddy, listen to your mother and get ready for bed.” Works. Every. Time.

Asahi cried when his daughter – the first born – came into the world. He couldn’t help it, she was just so tiny and perfect and a piece of you and him that he was overwhelmed. He was a bit afraid to hold her at first but once that sweet bundle was nestled in his arms it was over for him; he didn’t know he could love two people with an equal level of devotion in such different ways.

Tanaka loves all that being a dad entails. He’s there for his kids first bike ride, roller skate fall, getting stuck in a tree and needing daddy to save them. He chases away monsters from under the bed or in the closet and is always the first to kiss a boo boo and make it feel better. He’s their hero.

Nishinoya’s energy is able to keep up with his brood – four kids – rather well. He loves “tagfest” the most, running through the park as his kids squeal with glee and “daddy, catch me” sounding over the fields.

Ennoshita documents every little bit of his children’s lives that he can, for posterity (and a little practice). But he makes sure to set the camera down and actually be in the moment with them, frequently caught off guard when he’s editing later to find his wife sneakily grabbed the camera and got some scenes with him as the main star.

Kinoshita is the best breakfast maker and loves doing it with his kids. They make a mess of the kitchen but the end results are usually delicious. They horse around a bit during the cleaning and it’s a bit loud but the job gets done.

Narita enjoys reading with his kids. They’ll pile on his lap either in bed or on the couch and he’ll pop open the book of the day, reading aloud and doing voices and sound effects much to his children’s delight.

Kageyama wasn’t sure at first if he wanted children, afraid he wouldn’t be suited for the roll of “dad”. But once he does have them he does well. Unsurprisingly, when they’re old enough, he’s the first to encourage them to try out volleyball but if they don’t want to, he doesn’t love them any less. He just tries to understand whatever they are in to.

Hinata is another energy filled dad, able to play for hours with his kids without seeming to break a sweat. He’s frequently seen with his “little crows” at official matches, swelling with pride whenever he hears squeals of encouragement whenever he scores.

Tsukishima tried to be firm in regards to keeping his kid out of his and his wife’s bedroom; that is their sanctuary. But when his little girl came crying during a loud and violent storm, he simply lifted her up, kissed her cheek, laid her between himself and her mother and snuggled away her fears.

Yamaguchi frequently plans playdates for his kids and those of his former teammates, usually on Sunday mornings or afternoons when most of – if not all – of them are available to get together. Occasionally they’ll go to an amusement park or zoo or some place similar but most of the time the dates consist of the dads chatting over simple sandwiches while their children run about a park and play together.

Ukai wasn’t sure he wanted kids since taking care of his “little rascals” was already so exhausting but eventually he decides he does want to and when he does he’s never lacking for willing babysitters, all of “his boys” from that first year of him coaching offering their help to raise his twin boys.

Aobajosai

Oikawa loves taking his two little twin girls shopping. Buying them cute, matching outfits just makes his day. They have way too many, but that doesn’t stop him from doing it. When they get older, they’re more resistant to it but will make sure to go at least once a year – on Father’s Day – and let their dad pick something for them.

Iwaizumi enjoys cooking and his Father’s Day tradition with his kids is finding a traditional dish – either from their country or another – and trying it out together. Whether it comes out right or they like it or not, it’s the experience of cooking together that they love. And if it doesn’t come out right, they just order take out.

Matsukawa frequently tortures his children when they are older with typical dad jokes, especially around their significant others when they start dating.

Hanamaki likes to do family outings / experiences with his kids on Father’s Day rather than have them buy him stuff he doesn’t really need. One year, when they were in middle school, he planned a volunteer day at a local shelter. At the end of the day he said, “Now that you have some of an idea of what it takes to take care of a dog, do you still want one?” When they all agree they did he told them to work together to pick one to take home.

Yahaba spends time with his kids doing art projects. They want to color? He’ll color with them. Paint? It’ll be outside with drop cloth and smocks but sure, why not? Sidewalk chalk and hopscotch? He’s there. Watching his kids be creative is one of his greatest joys.

Watari’s kids love to snuggle with him. They’ll crawl in his lap to watch a movie or beg him to lay with them during nap time when he’s home.

Kindaichi is rather competitive so he has to watch himself whenever he plays games with his kids not to get too into it. He won’t just let them win, though. They have to learn the agony of defeat, even in Mario Kart.

Kunimi – because of his dislike for loud, energetic beings – struggled through his kids toddler and young childhood years. He was there for them but it was a tough go. He does exceptionally well during the latter school years frequently being a source of help for them during homework time.

Kyotani is – unsurprisingly – fiercely protective of his kids. He can be a bit harsh with them but his attitude has mellowed out and they know above all else that he loves them. God help the boy who tries to date his daughter.

Nekoma

Kuroo is also fond of the dad jokes or science puns and frequently uses them to diffuse arguments with his kids, either between each other or with him.

Kenma – shockingly – loves playing video games with his kids. His proudest moment was when his son asked for his own PSP for his birthday.

Yamamoto, when they are old enough, teaches his daughters self defense to protect themselves from the numerous boys he just knows will be after them. They roll their eyes but do as told, teasing him with tidbits uncle Kuroo and Yaku told them about his own high school days. This only encourages him to increase the training, must to their chagrin.

Kai is the party planner for his kids’ birthday parties, taking whatever theme they want that year to the extreme and creating a wonderful experience for their guests and themselves.

Yaku loves baking with his kids. He’s always finding new recipes to try and they laugh their way through techniques they don’t understand, learning as they go and eating the fruits of their labor. After clean up, they go for a run or bike ride together to “burn off the sugar” before crashing for a nap.

Inuoka does finger puppet shows for his kids. He lets them make the characters out of arts and craft supplies then uses a stage box he built himself to put on productions for them. Sometimes they write the stories together and sometimes he makes it up for them to simply enjoy.

Lev is a master of hide and seek and his kids frequently challenge him in it. When his youngest managed to hide for over an hour it prompted him to put trackers on them, linked to their mother’s cell phone so he can’t cheat.

Other Team Favorites

Bokuto gives the best “horsey” rides, willing to get down on all fours and properly run about and buck, his children squealing with joy as they ride. It usually ends with Bokuto collapsed on the grass and his kids piling on top of him in fits of giggles.

Akaashi is a master at getting his babies to sleep. He rocks them gently, trailing his fingers over their forehead and down their eyelids prompting them to close. When they’re asleep, he lays them in their crib and watches them sleep for a little, a soft smile on his face.

Aone is a human jungle gym for his kids. They love to climb all over him, hanging from his strong arms or neck. They also love to wrestle with him, frequently ganging up to try to take him down. Aone just smiles quietly through it all, enjoying the time playing with his kids.

Koganegawa is just as entertained as his children watching animated movies. On Saturday nights, they cuddle together on the couch with snacks and drinks, pulling out of a hat what movie they’re going to watch from their massive collection.

Ushijima struggled in the beginning of fatherhood due to the unpredictability of children; babies in particular. But once he got the hang of the basics, he began to enjoy the experience more. The first time his son cuddled up and fell asleep on his chest he was a lost man; fatherhood, he decided, was the best thing to ever happen to him.

Semi is the dad whose kids can talk to him about and tell him anything. He takes their opinions, thoughts, ideas, worries, fears, arguments all in stride, allowing them to have their say (respectfully, there is no reason to be rude and it just makes you look stupid). When they’re done, he offers his advice, opinion or answer depending on the nature of the discussion. They may not always like what he says but they respect him because he respects them.

Tendo was quite nervous to have children to be honest. Would they like him? Would they think he was scary? Then, his daughter was born and all his fears melted. He might have shed a few tears, but he’ll never admit it. He gets her into manga when she’s older and the two of them will spend hours fanboy/girling over their favorites.

Oikawa tooru, 9?

“Turn ons? So lewd, anon-chan,” Oikawa teases. He narrows his eyes, leaning in close to your face. “I always appreciate a good make out session. We can see where things go from there,” he breathes against your ear, pressing a delicate kiss to the underside of your jaw.

Oikawa for valentines 💕

I went a bit of a different direction with this one, I hope you like it!

Everything was planned, outlined even, so that this evening, one he’d waited upon for so long, would be perfect

Which is why Oikawa is cursing at himself for running late. Literally running as he pumps his legs to go faster but it’s difficult sprinting in a suit with a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates in his hands. Damn his boss holding him back when he knew he needed to leave on time today.

But he makes it to the train just before the doors shut; right on the flowers he was trying to keep from getting crushed between himself and his fellow sardines.

Clutching a now useless mass of stems he sighs, willing his blood pressure to lower. He needs to calm down. At least he still has the box of chocolate.

Which now, as the doors open, is ripped from his hands by some two bit punks exiting the train.

“Hey!” he shouts, trying to push through the sea of humanity but it’s no use; they’re gone, along with your treat.

“Damn, damn, damn!” he hisses, smacking his fist against the wall. He takes a deep breath. Fine, he’ll just order you the entire dessert platter at the restaurant to make up for it.

“I’m sorry sir, but I don’t see your name on the reservations list. As you can see, we’re very busy and it’s doubtful a table will free up any time soon.”

Oikawa stands fuming, fists clenched and you swear steam is going to pour out of his ears soon. You knew something was off when he met you at work this evening, but now it really looks like Tooru is going to deck the poor man who’s just doing his job.

Taking his hand, you tug on him. “Tooru, let’s go,” you whisper.

“Tch, who wants to eat in this dump anyway!” he snaps over his shoulder. It’s a petty shot but you allow it since clearly this is not the first thing to go wrong today.

“Ok, spill, what’s going on?” you ask when you’re safely outside.

“Oh nothing much,” he chuckles mirthlessly. “Only the flowers I got you were decapitated by the subway.” Your eyes widen. “Stupid dumb-ass punks fucking stole your chocolate!” You cover your mouth in an attempt to hide your smile. “Now we can’t eat at the one place you told me you’d like to go that I know I made reservations at!” he exclaims whipping his hand backwards.

A flash of lightning coupled with the snap of thunder sends a deluge of water upon you. Oikawa tilts his head back, shouting to the heavens, “AND NOW IT’S FUCKING RAINING!!”

Dropping his chin to his chest, shoulders visibly trembling, Oikawa can’t bring himself to look you in the eyes following that outburst. But they spring open at the feel of your lips against his, your fingers carding through thick soaked hair. He closes them a moment later, allowing himself to get lost in your kiss.

When you part, breaths fanning out in steam, you smile up at him. “Sometimes, it really is the thought that counts Tooru.” You take his hand again, leading him towards the station. “Let’s go home, gets jammies on and eat junk food while watching sappy romances.” He wrinkles his nose at this last but beams a smile when you amend, “Ok, fine, cheesy sci-fi.”

Oikawa- A Brand New Day

ASK: Morning fluff scenario w/ oikawa and fem s/o

I have no idea why this came out with a melancholy under tone but it does have some fluff in it. Either way, I hope you enjoy!

Nestled under the warmth of the covers, Oikawa lay with his elbow propped, head resting against his palm and watched the rise and fall of her chest, his other hand itching to touch but because he didn’t want to wake her this early, he refrained from doing so. It used to bother him that he’d wake up so much earlier than her, the habit ingrained from years and years of rising before dawn to warm up his knee, stretch, run, stretch some more and shovel down breakfast before hightailing it to the gym for extra practice, always pushing himself; more, more more!

But then she’d come along, quite literally stumbling across him when a late night practice session in their college gym had resulted in him twisting his ankle (first the knee, now the ankle) and crying out in pain. She’d rushed in, not watching where she was going and fell over him. Only she didn’t stay down long, rotating swiftly to rush to his aid.

He knew he’d been anything but grateful to her in that moment, angry at himself, angry at his knee, angry at the world for cursing him with a body just strong enough to get him one step away from his ultimate goals before failing him at the last moment.

Now, he could laugh at the memory of her tiny frame working to heft his larger one upon her shoulders, insistent he get some help. They’d made it halfway to the trainer’s office before the vice captain came upon them and took over.

His ankle pulsed as he shifted closer, bringing him back to the present, but he ignored it in favor of stroking her cheek, apparently unable to keep his hands off her.

He smiled softly as she snored, a little drool sneaking out making him chuckle. “So sloppy my sweetness,” he chided in a whisper.

She grunted, rolling to her side but not waking up even as she sought more of his warmth; he did run hotter than most.

Feeling the protest of tiring muscles in his arms, Oikawa eased back down, hoping not to move the mattress too much and thus actually wake her from slumber. As the sun slowly rose in the east, rays muted by the sheer curtains upon the windows, her eyes blinked open to meet his own.

“Hey,” she yawned through a stretch, “how long have you been awake?”

He shrugged. “Not sure, since before the sun made an appearance.”

She clicked her tongue. “You’re crazy, I can’t believe you still wake up so early.” A shudder racked her body. “Damn, it’s cold in here! Did you turn the heater off again Tooru?”

He didn’t reply, instead rolling on top of her, tugging the covers as he went to encase them in a cocoon of sheets and blankets. “We have all the heat we need right here,” he teased, brushing his nose up the side of her neck.

Giggling she pressed two fingers against his forehead and pushed. “Already? I just woke up! Can’t we have breakfast first?” He grabbed her hand, kissing the palm before resting it against his chest. At the serious look on his face, her brows furrowed with concern and her other hand reached up to caress his face. “Tooru?”

He shook his head. “It’s nothing, I just…damn, I really love you,” he confessed, leaning down to capture her lips with his own, the kiss chaste but long. Resting his forehead against her own he went on, “Being yours is the greatest thing to have ever happened to me.”

“Ok, what’s gotten into you?” she teased. “Bad dream?”

He shook his head again. “No, just thankful you didn’t give up on me.” His voice was soft, fragments of melancholy laced together with his sincere gratitude.

Her arms wound round his neck, drawing their chests flush together. “Breakfast can wait,” she admitted, then kissed him again.

I’m your bunny, be my honey

ASK: Headcanons for how Kageyama, Lev, Aone, Oikawa, Akaashi and Terushima react when their crush shows up in a sexy bunny-girl costume (her volleyball team lost their tournament and this was the consequence) and confesses her feelings to them

I did these as mini scenarios I suppose, I just suck at head canons. I hope you like these.

Kageyama

When she entered the room, Kageyama wondered if he was dreaming. That couldn’t be his crush clad in such a scandalous outfit and walking directly towards him. All around he could hear his team reacting to her appearance, particularly Tanaka-san and Nishinoya-san who he was sure were being restrained by Ennoshita-san.

As she stopped in front of him, he worked diligently to keep his eyes only on her face.

“Kageyama-kun, I…I wanted you to know I care deeply about you. Pl…please accept my feelings.”

Her confession caught him off guard and he couldn’t get his mouth to work past his jaw unhinging and hanging down. After a few moments of silence, Hinata smacked his arm. “Answer her, Bakageyama!”

“Yes!” he shouted, voice echoing through the gym. He grabbed her hand, tugging her away from prying eyes. “I accept your feelings but can you put some clothes on!”

Lev

“Wow, _____-chan! It’s not Halloween is it?” Lev cried, eyes wide as he looked her over.

From his left he heard Kuroo’s low whistle, but couldn’t react, not when she was looking at him like that, looking like that.

“Lev-kun, I….I really, really like you,” she said, eyes averted to the ground, hand rubbing up and down her arm. “Would…you like to go out some time?”

“EH?!!” His outburst had her head whipping back to look at him. “You like me?! I…I’ve had a crush on you forever! I can’t believe this!”

“Lev, maybe you should stop embarrassing her further,” Yaku scolded. “And get her some cover you pervert!”

Aone

“Oi, Aone, isn’t that _______-chan?” Futakuchi asked, cheeks warming a bit.

The middle blocker turned his attention towards the gym door, eyes growing wider and wider as more of her came into view; much, much more.

Rushing forward, he grabbed his jacket, hurrying to throw it about her shoulders and zip it up. His face held his question and she blurted out, “I’m sorry to embarrass you, Aone-kun! I had a bet with the rival team’s captain that beat us and I had to do this as consequence of losing the tournament last week!”

Aone’s blood boiled; who could be so callous as to heap embarrassment like this upon the shame of loss?

He barely heard her next words, said so lowly he wondered if he imagined them. “And I have to tell you how I’m in love with you.”

He looked down at her, lips slightly parted in shock. Blinking rapidly, he hums, nodding once and holding out his hand. Tentatively she takes it, looking up at him with a sweet smile.

Oikawa

“Ooooohh, ______-chan, what is this scandalous outfit for? Are you trying to get my attention?” Oikawa crooned as she walked towards him. Despite his teasing tone and smirking face inwardly he was dying; how could she let all these guys see her like this? He wanted to be the only one to see her exposed as such…once he’d actually told her how he felt…if he ever would.

“That’s exactly it,” she confirmed, fingers grazing through his hair. The touch and her proximity with that much flesh showing had all the blood formerly in his head rushing below his waist line. “I know you hear this all the time, Oikawa-kun, but I love you. I hope you can return my affection.” When he didn’t answer, she shrugged her shoulders despite the ache in her heart. “Oh well, I tried,” she sighed, but the sound of a thud had her turning back around. There, blood running down his nose, lay Oikawa unconscious.

“Oikawa-kun?” she cried, kneeling next to him.

“Great, now how are we gonna get him ready for the match?” Iwaizumi complained, draping his jacket over her back. “Go get changed, I’m sure he’ll be professing his love as soon as he comes to.”

Akaashi

The gym was empty save for himself and Bokuto but Akaashi could feel his eyelids growing heavier. They’d been at it for hours and in his opinion it was time to call it a night. Just as he opened his mouth to call out to Bokuto, who’d gone to the storage room for another towel, he spotted her. Through the door walked _____-chan, his crush since the beginning of the year, wearing the sexiest bunny costume he’d ever seen. Come to think of it, he’d never seen anything like it before. Bewildered with wide eyes he stood rigid as she stepped further into the room.

“Akaashi!!!” Bokuto’s voice called, “Let’s do another fifty!”

Suddenly the setter was taking off across the room, meeting his friend at the door and blocking his view of her. “Hey,” Bokuto said surprised to find him there, “what’s up?”

With how dry his throat was and the rapidity of his pulse, Akaashi couldn’t believe he managed to speak even somewhat normally. “Sorry, I had something come up, do you mind cleaning up the gym?” When the ace looked inclined to whine about it, he added quickly, “I’ll make it up to you at morning practice. Fifty sets, they’re yours.”

Bokuto still pouted but finally replied, “OK, see you tomorrow.”

Akaashi glanced behind him, glad she’d had the foresight to leave. He had no idea what was going on but all he knew was he didn’t want anyone ever seeing her like that; except him.

He dashed out the door, surprised to find her with crossed arms waiting for him.

“Sorry, I…I didn’t want…”

“It’s fine Akaashi-san, I’m sorry to cause you so much trouble,” she said miserably.

“Wha…what are you doing?”

Quickly she explained the wager but when it came time for the big reveal (other than her skin) she faltered. Taking a deep breath she finally admitted, “I…I really like you and I’m sure this is the last way you wanted to find out but, it’s the truth and I hope it doesn’t mess up my chances and-”

“I feel the same way,” he said, voice surprisingly even. Then he stepped closer, voice lowering even more. “Now let’s get you changed, the last thing I need is for Bokuto to see you like this, he’ll never stop talking about it.”

Terushima

Johzenji’s captain was pretty sure he’d died and gone to heaven. He remained leaned against the wall, eyes trailing up and down her body as she stumbled towards him. Whoever insisted she wear high heels would be getting a thank you fruit basket from him. As she settled in front of him, he looked at her with hooded eyes, smile crooked. “To what do I owe this pleasurable view?” he asked smoothly.

“Um…I…I don’t know if you heard but we lost our tournament and…and there was a wager I had with the captain of the other team.”

“Yeah, sorry about that, tough break.” It was miracle he managed to have any sincerity in his tone. He was loving every second of her misfortune but how could she blame him?

“That…that’s not all,” she went on, voice small and eyes to the floor. He frowned, standing to his full height. Shyly she met her eyes to his. “I…I also have to confess…how I feel about you.”

His smile was back in full force. “Oh? And how would that be?”

She blushed, legs wobbling under the strain of holding herself in unfamiliar shoes. If she didn’t get this out now, she’d never do it and all of this embarrassment would have been for nothing. “I really like you, Terushima-kun, will you…will you accept my feelings?”

“That depends,” he returned, trailing his hand through her hair, “do I get to see you in this again…in private?”

Can I request a part two for the scenerio about the boys against their sisters dating?

sfw-haikyuu-nsfw:

I AM SO SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO ANSWER THIS. And I’m also going to apologize because I can’t find the original post for the life of me and I don’t even know why. I’ve scoured my archives like crazy and am about ready to pull my hair out!

Anyway, I DO remember how everything played out, so I’ll write the sequel and immediately link the OP as soon as I find it. To clarify, It was three parts – the first being Oikawa dating Iwaizumi’s sister, the second Ushijima dating Oikawa’s, and the third Kuroo dating Akaashi’s – that didn’t exactly have a happy ending, but more one of the prospect of the brother’s trying to be okay with the dating situations. And I’ll be jumping in from there!

I hope you enjoy, Anon!

Iwaizumi stared at the couple from across the courtyard, his sister leaving no space between herself and Oikawa as the boy leaned to whisper something that brought a bright smile to her face. Iwaizumi felt his brows furrow as he stared harder, attempting to read the words coming from his friend’s lips despite not being able to hear them.

It had been nearly two months since he had discovered the relationship status of his younger sister and his best friend. And while it was undoubtably hard to adjust to the knowledge, he felt as though he was handling everything relatively well. His temper was something he constantly felt as though he were keeping in check, but it was all for her sake. He could care less what Oikawa thought.

“If you glare long enough Oikawa might drop dead,” Hanamaki voice broke through Iwaizumi’s thoughts, bringing the very glare upon himself. But the boy grinned back, elbow nudging into Matsukawa’s side. “He’s on a killer rampage!”

“Shut up,” Iwaizumi growled, gaze dropping to his bento but not finding anything appetizing to eat there.

“Hey,” it was Matsukawa this time, bringing Iwaizmi’s eyes back up, “try not being so mad all the time. She’s happy, he’s happy. You’re anger about it is throwing off the team. Maybe try actually being a supportive friend and brother instead of pretending to me.”

“Or continue trying to kill Oikawa with your gaze. I think you almost had his this time.”

Oikawa gave a small groan, his gaze shifting back to his sister with the brut that was Ushijima. The emotions that usually surfaced when he saw the Shiratorizawa captain were only amplified when he saw him with his sister, but he had practiced the art of holding his tongue for her sake. Only for her sake, never for his,

“Fine,” he uttered to Iwaizumi, “I’ll try being ‘friendly’”

Standing to his feet, Oikawa plastered a smile to his features before walking the short distance that resided between him and them. Giving them a bright greeting, he moved to press himself directly in-between the couple. Ignoring the annoyed gaze that his sister immediately placed upon him, his gaze shot over to Ushijima, the large man now with his hands folded in his lap instead of intertwined with his sisters.

“Perhaps we should do something?” Oikawa offered, making himself more comfortable in the tight space between them, attempting to create more space. “There’s that new space odyssey movie that’s come out. What do you say, Ushiwaka?”

“I–” Ushijima paused for a moment, his gaze shifting to her across from him and Oikawa could see her shaking her head from the corner of his eyes, “–it’s [First Name]’s decision.”

“Tooru–” when his gaze shifted over to his sister, he hoped that he looked sincere, because he wanted to be. If this was the man that she was choosing, than he wanted to be supportive of her, even if it wasn’t a decision he would have trouble accepting “–how about ice cream?”

Kuroo had offered to pay for the treats, something him and Akaashi bickered about for perhaps too long before she had stepped in. The moments between were quiet as they found a small round table to rest at and Akaashi immediately realized the full impact of his initial outburst over this situation. He watched the conscious distance placed between them and how they shared small glances before staring down at the table before them.

He had made them feel as though everything that they were doing was bad – taboo even – he had created an awkward wedge within their relationship and if they failed, he know it would have been because of him at this rate. That was the last thing he wanted, even if he didn’t one hundred percent support this, he couldn’t live with the knowledge that they would each blame them for the end of something that could’ve been beautiful.

Clearing his throat, Akaashi met with each of their gazes before speaking. “I’m sorry for my behavior,” he heard the way his voice wobbled slightly and he tried to correct it, but he wasn’t sure how. He wasn’t sure how this apology was supposed to even go. “I shouldn’t have reacted to terribly nor continued to hold a grudge.”

“Keiji…”

“I don’t want you to feel as though you should pretend to be something you’re not because of me,” he gave a kind smile to his sister, “I want you to be happy.”

Kuroo smiled in return when Akaashi’s gaze met with his. Hand reaching for hers, he leaned to press a kiss to her cheek and Akaashi was only slightly surprised by his lack of tension in his shoulders at the action. “Thanks, Akaashi,” Kuroo spoke then, “and would it be a bad time to tell you we’re having a shotgun wedding?”

Akaashi’s smile dropped. “Excuse you?”

“I’m kidding!”

Kuroo!! Smart ass just has to ruin it doesn’t he 😂. Great job as always!!
