AnonJD, pt 2. Scenario where Ushijima notices a new (smol but cute) girl but never has a chance to talk to her but finds things in her that he’s interested in (is noticed!), and one day after a practice (and people come to watch sometimes including her), she comes up to him and boldly asks him on a date in front of the team?

imagine-that-haikyuu:

You were here again. This time a
couple of other girls were with you, gawking at everything and yelling at stray
balls. They were positioned right next to the gym entrance, and exactly in
Ushijima’s view.

He should be focusing on the
tosses that Shirabu was giving him for warm-ups, but every move you made seemed
to catch his eye. He couldn’t say he didn’t like it, though. You fascinated
him. The girls who would join you gawked at the ball, flinched and dodged at
stray balls that weren’t even close to hitting them. Whereas you… You would
watch everything with a keen eye—how the players moved, how Shirabu would set
the ball, how Reon would dive to receive a ball, saw where Tendou was looking
to block a spike. You didn’t seem like an ordinary spectator to the game; it
was more like you were analyzing every play and making notes for improvement in
your head.

And it piqued his interest.

Ushijima couldn’t count how many
times he almost talked to you, if it wasn’t for the coach being very strict
during practices. Though it wouldn’t really show, he would become very anxious
whenever you were near, waiting and hoping you were still in the court so he
could actually talk to you. But whenever they got dismissed you would be gone
already.

“Wakatoshi-kun,” Tendou would say
after notes, “what’s got you so antsy? Did that girl come again?”

He would nod and turn away
without another word, despite the redhead’s successive questions.

It was like a routine at this
point—practice would begin and people would start trickling in, Ushijima would
spot you and you would lock eyes, he would keep sneaking glances at you during
breaks and you stayed until the end, he would go with the team for notes with
the coach and when he turned around you would be gone.

To be truthful, he was getting
tired of it. He so wanted to break the ordinary and start a new and
surprise-filled arc in his story, but he didn’t even know your name. He didn’t
know your year or class or if you were actually interested in him or not. All
he knew was that you liked watching them play.

But maybe today would be the day.
Maybe today he could ask your name and year and class and why you would always
come to watch. Maybe—

“Ushijima-kun.”

This is so awesome! How cute!!!

Can I have scenario with Akaashi, Kageyama, Kei and Lev reacting to their shy s/o becoming a flustered mess whenever they kiss. Good luck with your blog BTW… I’ll show as much love as possible😆

imagines-haikyuu:

thanks love! xoxo

Akkashi Keiji: You always waited for him to finish practice, cherishing the time you two had with each other to the fullest since you often missed each other due to separate classes and club activities. It’s only been a few weeks since the two of you started dating and absolutely nothing has happened yet. He was always a gentleman and would never do anything you weren’t comfortable with but you could sense his patience wearing off and suspected he had tried to kiss you several times but to no avail. Every move he made to become closer to you or when he would brush your cheeks, you would laugh and push his advances away, too embarrassed to reciprocate his actions.

“Thanks for waiting,” His breath was white from the winter breeze and his nose red from the sudden pricking wind. You smiled and offered your hand to him.

“It’s fine, Keiji. How was practice today?” He talked about Bokuto-senpai and how he found out his sendai was more observant of himself than he initially thought. You listened and hummed at the right moments before being stopped by your boyfriend. It was dark and the only thing that allowed you to see his face were the street lights.

“What-” Before you could finish, he pulled you in and kissed you, steady, but softer than you expected. You could feel your face heating up and your eyes were still open from the unexpected movement, but he gave you time to process it and soon you were kissing back, albeit more tentatively than he would have liked. He pulled away, glee evident in his usually composed face and proceeded to continue the conversation like nothing had happened. If you could have crawled under a giant, dark hole, this would have been the perfect opportunity to.

This boy is going to be the death of me.

Kageyama Tobio: You two had gone to a volleyball practice center to teach little kids how to play-well Kageyama was and you were going to watch-as a date. You didn’t mind because you were able to see him play the sports he loved so much, plus you liked playing with the little kids. As he went on to teach the kids the basics, a little girl tugged at your sleeves and whispered in your ear.

“Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?” You blushed, and nodded. It’s been two weeks since you two started a relationship and even though the two of you were fairly new at this, he seemed to be the one leading as you were terribly embarrassed to even hold his hand in public. The little girl squealed catching some other girl’s attention and soon you were swarmed with a flood of girls around you asking about the two of you.

“What’s going on?” Kageyama walked over, apparently finishing teaching the rules and letting the kids practice their receives. The girls moved from you to him and began bombarding him with questions. ‘How long have you been dating?’ ‘You girlfriend is pretty!’ ‘Have you two kissed?’ He turned pink at that question which prompted them to egg him more. Kids these days were so eager; you urged them to go play volleyball and they reluctantly walked away. Clearing his throat, he sat down next to you on the bleachers.

“So-sorry, they were just being kid-” He pecked your lips, the kiss lasting just mere seconds. The two of you were a blushing mess as the kids who caught them in the midst of their act all giggled and hooted.

“When I grow up I want a boyfriend like Tobio-san~.“

Tsukishima Kei: You were slumped against his shoulders, dozing off occasionally lulled by his music and the bump of the train. It was mostly empty, save for the elderly couple on the other side of your seat and a young teen who was too occupied with her phone. You and Kei had been going on dates and getting to know each other more after meeting at one of their favorite bands concert. Today was one of those days where you spent the entire day at a cafe and music store. He was usually aloof, but you noticed today he had been fidgeting and glancing at your way more than usual.

The music was blaring in a soft way, loud enough for you to hear but not to the elderly couple in front of you. The pad of his thumb rubbed your intertwined hands; you could tell he was contemplating. He stared at you, not knowing if it was time or not.

“Why do you keep staring at me?” He looked down on you and scoffed, a small blush adorning his cheeks.

“I’m not.” The blush on his cheeks said otherwise. You argue back and retort but was shut up by his lips on your mouth. It was sweet and so unlike Tsukishima. The brief passion lasted for a second before he pulled away and went back to staring at his phone. You turn bright red and touch your lips, feeling the unfamiliar heat on your mouth. The old couple smiles warmly at them and comments.

“Oh, how adorable. Remember when we were like that?“

Haiba Lev: “I’ll be bringing you two some snacks later!” Your boyfriend’s sister calls out to the two of you as she closes the door to his room. It was your first time meeting Alice and needless to say she was gorgeous as Yaku-san put it. A bit intimidated by her beauty, you reluctantly agreed to the home date, but she was also as generous and kind and made you feel at ease the moment you stepped in. Lev just laughs and sits down, stroking his pet cat.

“Sit down, ______.” You take a seat beside him and pull out your books. He made a face at the mathematics textbook, but pulled out his utensils anyway. An hour of focus and Lev had lost interest in all the numbers and letters and laid down and had begun playing with his phone. You were still trying to solve the question that you were certain was going to be on the test when he pulled at your hair.

“Let’s rest for a bit! We can get back to those later!” You shake your head; if you lost your concentration now, the fact that you were in a room-a boys room-with your boyfriend would register in your mind more and you wouldn’t be able to maintain your composure. His face was suddenly closer to yours and you let out a squeak before he licked his lips, almost resembling a cat, before his lips crashed into yours. He nipped at your lips hungrily and although you weren’t sure what to do, you gently kissed back, the heat from your face escalating in seconds. At that moment, his sister burst in, carrying a tray full of delicious smelling cookies and tea. She gasped, but held onto the tray.

“My, my! My little brother’s all grown up~."

These are so adorable! I love kisses!

hc for kuroo, terushima, tsukishima, & iwaizumi w/ a tiny & cute girlfriend who has a fierce side and is a fuckin bOSS at self defense like if anyone bothers them, she steps in front of them and goes from the sweetest looking bunny to the most intimidating person on earth and she will fUCK ANYONE WHO BOTHERS THEM UP

sfw-haikyuu-nsfw:

LOL, I love this so much, Anon! I think it’s so freaking adorable and all of these boys would just freaking LOVE having a girl like this!

Hope you enjoy!

Kuroo Tetsurou

  • Lol, I can see something like this happening for the first time in their relationship and she’s not taking any shit as she steps up with his arms crossed over her chest and Kuroo’s all “babe, I got this” right before she throws down and takes the dude to the ground in a single blow.
    • Um, SHOOK. But also, like, that was totally the hottest things he’s ever seen and, god damn, that’s his girlfriend and holy fuck he’s never felt so turned on in his life.
  • But he’s totally impressed, like, he knew she did self defense, but that seemed like it was on a completely different level. Doesn’t matter though, all he want to do is get her home so she can demonstrate all those badass moves on him!
    • Legit, boy would probably get too excited about that and then end up getting hurt because he tensed the wrong way in the middle of something.

Terushima Yuuji

  • Duuuudes, Terushima probably fell victim to her awesome moves when they first met! Like, he was trying to get her number or something coming off rather strongly and probably stepped a little closer than he really should’ve and then BAM! He’s staring up at the ceiling with stars behind his eyes!
    • Then she shows up in his vision – still flat on his back – and he thinks an angel has showed up in his life because she is by far the most extraordinary person he’s ever met.
  • Guarantee he ends up in that same position several more times before she gets anywhere close to agreeing to go out with him. His persistence can be quite endearing if he goes about it the right way.
  • And when someone actually starts to mess with them, this boy wouldn’t even bat an eye when she steps forward with that Look on her face. He’d just be like “dude, ya sure you wanna keep going down this path?” He’d totally reward her with kisses and cuddles afterward too!

Tsukishima Kei

  • Seriously? I feel like this kid would provoke anyone because he KNOWS that she can take them down. So when they’ve finally had enough of his shit, they’re making a go at him and the next thing they know they’re arm is being twisted behind their back and they’re on their knees.
    • This little shit would just smirk with his hands in his pockets and just be all “oh yeah, and have you met my girlfriend?” He’d be all smug that he had the upper hand even though he didn’t do anything except start shit!
    • LOL, the dude is still probably trapped there on the ground as Tsuki strolls up to give her kisses as thanks! Random dude is NOT amused.
  • As much as she loves this tol bean, no doubt that he’s been the victim to her defensive moves. Maybe his teasing goes a little too far and before he knows it, his vision goes dark because she pressing into a pressure point at just the right spot. Apologies are instant, followed by pouting.

Iwaizumi Hajime

  • These two probably took the self defense class together, that’s how they met and got to know each other. They were partners through the course and kept seeing each other afterwards, so he’s had firsthand experience at just how good she is.
  • So it really is no surprise that she goes to take on whoever is bugging them head on. Like, both Iwa and this random dude have amused expressions on their faces, but for OBVIOUSLY different reasons: the random guys thinks it’s just adorable this little girl wants to fight whereas Iwaizumi KNOWS that she can kick his ass.
    • Iwaizumi probably stands over the dude after he’s been taken to the ground and is like “I probably should’ve warned you but I didn’t feel like it” before wrapping his arm around her shoulders and taking her out for ice cream!
  • I’m sure when a bunch of them all went out together, Oikawa kept pestering her to show him her moves! And Iwa keeps being like “you’re stupid, Shittykawa, let it go” but then she agrees and Makki films it and posts it on social media and it’s the funniest day of their lives (except Oikawa’s, lol).

These made me laugh, loved it!

Give me Asahi being loving sweet to his s/o. Being love making or pampering her when she feels down or stressed out of her mind.

hq-cuties-pls:

This post was heavily inspired by @nekokat42 and their incredible art of a (very very beefy) Asahi. I do recommend you check it out: Soft Asahi is my aesthetic!!
~Admin Emma

You woke to the soft sounds of acoustic guitar music and the sizzle of something in a skillet. At first, you were sort of confused–it was a day off for you, but you knew Asahi had to be at his bar at some point to accept deliveries and do some prep for that night.

“Wonder what time it is,” you murmured to yourself. You rolled over, checking your phone and groaning when you noted how fucking early it was. You weren’t surprised Asahi’s side of the bed had gone mostly cold–freak always was an early riser. “So much for sleeping in… damn internal alarm clock.”

You figured if you were going to be up and miserable, you could at least be up and miserable and caffeinated. You’d had a rough week, and you’d hoped that maybe you would feel better on a day off. No such luck, unfortunately. Honestly, you really just wanted to go back to bed with your boyfriend, but you figured he was up for good after taking the dog out.

The smell you were greeted with when you came into the kitchen was second only to the sight. The entire kitchen smelled like fresh pancakes, chocolate, and very strong coffee. Asahi was standing at the counter, fussing with something on the stove. At his elbow was a tray of the fluffiest chocolate chip pancakes you had ever seen, a bowl of perfect strawberries, and a French press full of strong, dark coffee–just how you liked it. Asahi’s dog, Hime, was snoozing at his feet, and he had clearly just stepped out of the shower. His hair was still damp, thrown back into a sloppy twist at the base of his neck. He was still wearing his sweats and a loose-fitting tank top that hung from his deliciously broad shoulders. You were granted a tantalizing peek at the dimples on his lower back when he reached back to scratch absently at a spot on his spine. He looked so… soft, and he was humming along to the song playing on his phone. Bathed in the warm sunlight of the early morning, he looked almost golden. He was so beautiful… and you couldn’t resist wrapping your arms around his middle.

He startled a bit when he felt your face nuzzle into his broad, chiseled shoulders. You chuckled, pressing a kiss between his shoulder blades; “Morning, handsome. This all for me?”

“It was supposed to be a surprise,” he said, holding one of your hands and moving it to his chest. You could feel his strong, steady heartbeat under your palm, and his skin was still warm from his shower. “I know you’ve had a rough week and I wanted to… I don’t know, treat you to something nice. Hence the tray.”

“Awww, babe. You made me breakfast in bed,” you cooed playfully. You rested your cheek against his back, letting your other hand migrate under his shirt. You felt the muscles jump under your fingers as you dragged your nails through the small trail of dark hair under his belly button.

“Well, you’re out of bed, so it’s more breakfast-on-tray now.” You could almost hear the precious pout in his voice. He sounded so petulant… it was actually pretty cute.

“I mean… I don’t have to stay up,” you said, plucking a strawberry from the tray and popping it in your mouth. It burst with juice and flavor; the moan you let out was borderline obscene. “This is the best strawberry I’ve ever had, by the way. Positively sinful.”

Asahi turned towards you, a smirk playing on his lips; “Come here, you.”

He gently grasped your chin, tilting your face up to meet his. You let your eyes slide closed as he dragged his tongue along the seam of your mouth, licking the stray strawberry juice that had smeared there. You parted your lips, and he gladly accepted the invitation. He pressed his lips against yours; like always, he was infinitely gentle but there was the edge of something more there, like this barely-contained power that always strained just under the surface. You had to rub your legs together when he sank his hands into your hair, his thumbs caressing just under your cheekbone. You felt breathless, and you could feel the impatient edge to the small nibbles against your lower lip.

“What do you say to breakfast and… going back to bed?” Asahi purred against your mouth, curling his body around yours to hold you closer.

“The bar?” You were practically gasping for air, between his proximity and his heat and the smell of his soap and aftershave… Despite his gentle nature, he was completely overwhelming.

“Tanaka can accept the delivery, and Noya knows that stockroom better than I do… the place will survive without me for one day.”

“Hmm… hard to resist such an appealing offer,” you teased, tapping your lip as if in thought.

Asahi pulled you closer to him, cradling the back of your head as he bent to kiss you once more; “So don’t.”

Um, LOVE!!! Adult Asahi is my jam, seriously loved this! If you feel inspired, a sequel with sexy time would be awesome!!

I love Kasamatsu and think he needs more love. Can you do a scenario of him introducing his girlfriend to his family for the first time? Thanks and good luck with your blog! -Admin Jade

yourhaicuties:

Hello! I’m so honoured because I love your work and it was one of the reasons I started this blog ahah. I don’t think my writing is that good yet but I still hope you like it !!

In the past months (nearly a year) you had been dating Kasamatsu you had never met his family. He never really talked about them either. It wasn’t that he had a bad relationship with them, it’s just that it never came up. You knew he lived with his parents and older Sister but that was it. So, when he invited you to his sister’s going away party, you jumped at the chance to meet his whole family before she left for college.

Normally you never had a problem with meeting people. So why were you so nervous? “What if they don’t like me?” You’d ask Yukio, to which he always replied, “How could they not?”
When you came into his house you definitely did not expect to be engulfed in his mother’s embrace.

“Wow y/n-chan, you’re so pretty! Just like he said! Hey everyone look! Y/n-chan is here!” Before you know it you were surrounded by his family, with everyone asking questions.

“Oh my god please stop,” your Boyfriend blushed in embarrassment. You couldn’t help but feel elated by how nice everyone was towards you. “Is he forcing you to date him? Blink twice if you need help,” his Sister asked you, winking. “No, I love him,” you assured him, squeezing his hand.

The rest of the dinner went by smoothly, with his parents showing you his old baby pictures and telling you stories about when he was young. Who would have thought your Boyfriend had a hipster phase? By the time the night ended you had begun to feel like you were part of the family, and you made sure Yukio knew that. He too, was delighted at how well everyone got along that night, despite being embarrassed the whole time.

Ok this is just too cute! And I’m flattered that my work would inspire someone to start a blog! Just, wow! I think you’re doing good so far!

Hi, can I ask you how Tanaka, Asahi, Taketora and Bokuto would deal with a s/o who’s very cuddly and always touchy, even in public? Thank you very much! <3

hq-cuties-pls:

This is actually an ask from before we cleaned out our inbox, because I had already started on it at the time. I finally got around to finishing it, so enjoy!

~Admin Alyx

Tanaka:

You wound both your arms around Tanaka’s waist as you walked down the street after dinner. It made walking more than a little bit awkward but you didn’t care as you leaned against his side. He hesitantly wrapped an arm around your shoulders, and you beamed up at him. You both weaved slightly as you walked, off-kilter from how much of your weight was leaning on him.

“Do you want me to just carry you?” he asked, chuckling slightly.

You were contemplating how he would react if you said yes when you accidentally bumped into someone, too distracted to look where you were going.

“Oh! Tanaka-san!”

You looked up, and recognized the grumpy-looking setter and the little redhead from the volleyball team. Tanaka stiffened for just a moment before he relaxed, pulling you closer.

“Hey, Hinata, Kageyama.”

“Uwaaah! Tanaka-senpai, is this your girlfriend? It is, isn’t it?”

You laughed. “Yeah, I’m ____.”

“Nice to meet you! Gah, you’re so cool, Tanaka-senpai!”

Tanaka chuckled, and you could feel him sticking his chest out at the word senpai. You’d make fun of him for it later, but you were nice enough not to say anything in front of his kouhai.

“How do you walk like that?” Kageyama asked suddenly, staring at your arms locked around Tanaka’s waist with a strangely intense frown.

“Oi! Bakageyama, you can’t just ask things like that.”

“Don’t worry about it, Hinata,” Tanaka said.

“We did bump into you guys,” you said, “so you do have a point.”

“But why–”

“She’s his girlfriend, Kageyama! If a girl would walk with you like that, wouldn’t you?”

“But wouldn’t it be annoying if you can’t even walk normally?”

“We’re gonna get going,” Tanaka interrupted. “See you guys at practice!”

You chuckled as Hinata and Kageyama continued to argue as you walked away.

“Sorry about them,” Tanaka said.

“No worries. Though he does have a point. Maybe you should just carry me.”

Asahi:

You leaned against the school gate, stifling a yawn against the back of your hand. It was early enough that the air still had that misty, half-lit softness to it, making everything seem muffled. Most of the school hadn’t arrived yet; school didn’t start for a while yet. You were sleepy from waking up early, but it was all worth it when he walked around the corner. He still looked half-asleep himself, though a warm smile spread across his face when he spotted you.

You pushed yourself off the gate as soon as he approached, wrapping your arms around his waist and leaning into him.

“Morning,” you said, though your voice was muffled against his chest.

“Hey,” he replied softly, resting his cheek on the top of your head. Neither of you talked much beyond that, not yet awake enough for much conversation. He asked you about the test you had that day in English, and you inquired about his upcoming practice match, but then you lapsed back into comfortable silence.

Eventually more people started passing by as it drew closer to the start of school. You heard Sawamura calling out both your names, and you reluctantly let Asahi go as he drew away from you. His hand slid down your arm, entwining your fingers instead. You smiled up at him as you both turned to walk towards the school building. When you eventually had to part ways to go to your respective classrooms, you gave his hand a quick squeeze before letting go. You blew him a kiss–a compromise you’d come to after you gathered that he’d prefer you to kiss him in private, not in the middle of the hallway–and he smiled, waving as he walked away.

Yamamoto:

You spotted him in the hallway, arms crossed over his chest as he talked to his friends. You could tell by the slight quirk of his lips that Kuroo had seen you coming, but Yamamoto had his back to you. You held a finger to your lips to request Kuroo’s silence as you approached.

You snuck up from behind and threw your arms around Yamamoto’s waist, squeezing tight as you turned your face against his back.

He let out a startled squawk, twisting to look over his shoulder to see who it was. Silly. He should have known it was you.

“Hi,” you said, grinning up at him.

“O-oh,” he stuttered, and though you couldn’t get a very good look at his face from this angle, the tips of his ears were definitely bright red. “_____, hey.”

Kuroo and Yaku both laughed at Yamamoto’s reaction. “I still don’t know how you ever managed to get a girlfriend,” Yaku said.

“Neither do I, man. Neither do I,” Yamamoto said, shaking his head as he glanced back at you again.

“We’ll leave you guys alone,” Kuroo said with just a hint of a smirk. “See you at practice.”

“Yes!” Yamamoto said emphatically, watching them go. Once they’d disappeared around the corner he turned around to face you. He wrapped his arms around you, though his face was still red as a beet.

“Sorry,” he said. “I’m still not used to this.”

“It’s okay. You’re kinda cute when you’re flustered,” you said with a cheeky grin.

Yamamoto spluttered indignantly, but you just leaned up to silence him with a kiss.

Bokuto:

Bokuto was facing away from you, talking to his teammates before practice started. You let yourself take a moment to appreciate the things his athletic shorts did for him, and the way the sleeves of his t-shirt strained slightly over his biceps as he talked animatedly, making wild gestures with his hands.

“Hey, Kou,” you called finally, and he spun around quickly, his look of surprise quickly morphing into a wide grin. He bounded over to the doorway where you stood, and a second later strong arms were wrapped tightly around your waist and you were being spun around in a quick circle.

“Hi,” Bokuto said as he put you down. His arms lingered around your waist though, and you wasted no time throwing your own arms around his neck. “What are you doing here?”

“You left your math textbook in the classroom.”

“Oh. Oops?” he said, offering a sheepish expression.

“I don’t mind,” you replied with a smile. “Gives me a chance to see you.” You ran your fingers through his spiked-up hair, and he hummed happily, leaning into the touch. You caught a few of his teammates rolling their eyes at your PDA, but you didn’t particularly care, and you were glad of the fact that Bokuto didn’t mind either. His teammates’ comments always seemed to bounce right off him.

Bokuto leaned down to give you a quick peck on the cheek. “You’re the best, ____.”

You grinned. “I know. I should let you get back to practice though, Captain.”

You unwound your arms from his neck and reached into your bag for his textbook, handing it off to him.

“Thanks, babe,” he said with a grin. “See you after practice?”

“You bet.”

Adorable!!

You’ve
spent seventeen years living like an average person, the outline of
your existence shifting through times both good and bad. Yet, it
feels as if you’ve lived your life on fast forward, like you’ve done
too much in too little time, and now you’re supposed to know all the
things that come with being an established adult—like you’re
supposed to know what you want to do with the rest of your life.

It
starts when you stare at the wall opposite you, heart pounding as
awareness creeps into your conscience; the only thing that breeds
certainty, like the static in your veins, is that you want him.

You
spend two weeks getting to know him, and two weeks trying to forget
him.

It
takes a month of self-persuasion to believe that you’ve given up on
him.

And
only seconds to realize that you’re lying to yourself.

You’re
sitting behind a desk when he comes in, eyes concealed by a mop of
hair and a grin on his lips. It disappears behind the sticky
transparency of bubblegum, snapping between the edges of his teeth as
he makes his way over to you.

There’s
arrogance in each step he takes, his stature carrying the promise of
arguable egotism. You busy yourself with a stack of papers,
disinterested in whatever he has to say, because nothing good ever
comes from boys who wear iniquity likes it’s the season’s latest
fashion trend.

He
ignores you in favor of plucking through the contents on your desk,
humming quietly to himself. The fact that you can’t see his eyes
makes you uneasy for a reason you can’t entirely explain. Then he’s
looking at you, muttering a pitiful pickup line that you try to
forget the minute it spills past his lips—but then he’s telling you
that you’re pretty, and for the first time in your life you feel
desirable. The spark of excitement lasts only a minute, but the
memory remains, sticks with you like the sugary sweet candy clinging
to the shape of his mouth.

When
he leaves you tell yourself it holds no real meaning, that he’s
probably toying with you—but you’re knocked sideways when he turns
around and flashes you a bright smile, one you didn’t know he was
capable of producing.

You
don’t know it then, but a part of you falls a little in love with him
right there.

Wow!! This is amazing! The pacing is perfect, everything is painted clearly and the emotions are evident without feeling over done! So good!

College AU with Tendou and this girl he’s really into. Just a lot of deep conversations, millenials doing millennial things and low-key angst. Do whatever the hell you want with this, I’m sure it’ll be great ♡

theguessmonsta:

Okay at this point y’all should know letting me go to town with a Tendou promt is gonna end up… special. Thank you so much for this ask by the way. I owe you my life

This was his worst nightmare. He didn’t know how he could possibly wind up late to a one o’clock class on a friday, but somehow, he found a way to do it.

Nobody gave him any odd stares as he slinked through the open doors at 1:27, much to his luck. That didn’t stop his nervous system from roiling, though. He couldn’t help but wonder why today, out of all the days of the year, (although the school year had only being going on for a week and a half) everyone in his literature class decided to show up. There wasn’t an empty seat open, at least, nowhere in the safe zone. The only open area he could see was front and center, and he would rather die than be placed in a situation like that. At this point, he figured if nobody saw him, he could just turn around and head home.

Although, that wasn’t the case.

Through his clunky reading glasses, the professor stared him down. He didn’t say a word but judging by the malice painted on his face, Tendou knew he was going to be in deep shit if he didn’t take a seat. He bowed, and as quick as possible hurried into the open seat in the front. The professor payed him no mind after that, he was one more irrelevant student out of 200. Although, the student next to him seemed to mind him very much. She had her chin rested in the palm of her hand, blowing small gum bubbles whenever the professor had turned his back. She kept sending Tendou a coy side gaze, and he’d be lying if he said it didn’t put him on edge. His options were to either confront her about it and have the ordeal be over with, or stare her down right back. He went with the first option. Clearing his throat lightly, he leaned his cheek against his wrist and shifted himself in front of her line of vision. When she made eye contact with him, it was almost like her entire demeanor vanished. Tendou smirked.

“Any reason you’re staring at me, hm?” He expected her to shake her head and look away, maybe even scoot down the bench a little bit. He wanted her to be afraid of him, it’s what people who gave him dirty looks deserved. He expected fear, but there wasn’t any. Instead she kept a steady gaze and smiled bashfully, the apples of her cheeks flushing generously.

“I’m sorry if I was looking at you funny, uh, you can’t help a r.b.f.” She giggled nervously, her gaze shifting away, “I was looking at your hair, I… I really like it.”

Tendou had not expected this at all. Really, he was almost at a loss for words. He had gotten a set of passive aggressive insults ready and everything, but they were in no case needed. She complimented him. He must’ve made an odd expression, because her eyebrows turned up in confusion.

“Well, uh, thank you.” Is what he managed to splutter out, nodding his head and slowly turning back to the front of the room. The professor was rambling but Tendou hadn’t paid attention to a word he said. The only thing he could think of was the girl sitting next to him. Who was she? She had been the only person to send him a positive vibe on campus, and even if it hadn’t been such a tremendous compliment, it was a lot better than a backhanded “monster” remark. Much better.

Tendou made sure he’d never wind up late for a lit class again. That Tuesday he huddled through the doors at 12:55 with the rest of the class. For some reason, he had been looking out for her, even though he knew he shouldn’t. She was just a person trying to be nice, trying not to make a situation more awkward. She could hurt him, and he didn’t need that. But the moment he saw her already sitting down in the front of the room, blowing the same pink bubbles as she did last time, he made a beeline towards her direction.

“Hey.” He said, placing one hand upon the open desk to her right. “Do you mind if I sit here?”

“Not at all!” She peeped, moving her bag closer to her side, allowing him more space to sit.

“Thank you.” He nodded, throwing his bag onto the floor next to him.

“My name is __, by the way. It’s nice to meet you again.”

“__, huh? The name’s Tendou.” He hadn’t been making eye contact with her but he could see her staring at him from the corner of his eye. He liked her, but he didn’t. He refused to believe that she was being nice to him, truly. There had to be some sort of strings attached, some ploy she was scheming, he solely believed she was all but nice. He hated his trust issues.

Class resumed per usual, mostly spent on discussing a popular book everyone had read in high school. He spent the majority of his time on Reddit, not like anyone really noticed, though. Just as fast as it had come, it was now over. He rushed to pick his bag up off the floor before he felt a pat on his shoulder. He turned back around and cocked his head, stank eyes meeting those of a doe.

“Do you have any other classes today?” She inquired, shuffling with her own bag as he did with his.

“No, why?”

“You… wanna go grab a coffee with me or something after this?”

This definitely caught Tendou by surprize. He blinked a few times, then chuckled. He couldn’t help but shake his head.

“And why in the world would you want to do that?” His words dripped with malice, and she seemed confused by his statement. She gaped for a moment before she came up with something to say.

“To get my daily caffeine fix and keep my social life intact? You don’t have to if you don’t want to, it was just a suggestion, I mean-”

“Sure, __, I’d love to.” He smiled, slinging his bag over his shoulder and waiting for her to slide out after him. Internally, he was screaming. Although this situation was so simple, it was so hard for him to wrap his mind around. Somebody who barely knew him wanting to get to know more about him. Never, ever in his life had a situation come up like this. It had to be a setup.

While walking next to her, Tendou had noticed a lot of things. She was significantly shorter than him, much shorter than any girl he had been involved with in the past. She had a spring in her step that made her seem more lively than most, but when he looked in her eyes, she had the same lethargic vigor as any other college student. He reckoned that he liked her eyes, though.

“So.” She said, the chilly air around them billowing her breath. “ What made you decide to come here?” Tendou shrugged.

“To get as far away from home as possible, to be honest.” At this she laughed, not because what he said was funny, though.

“I can relate. I think by the middle of senior year I was pretty much just throwing darts at a map and going with the farthest place away from there.”

“Ah, don’t tell me you really did that, now? You must have an aspiration in mind, right?” __ looked up at Tendou and shrugged, then sighed.

“I mean, I’ve always wanted to become a neurosurgeon, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen. What about you?” She looked up at him, but didn’t receive a response. This girl had to be kidding, Tendou thought.

“Clearly you’re smart enough to even think about being a neurosurgeon. Don’t give me that ‘I can’t do it’ bullshit.” He stuck his tongue out at her, to which she snorted in response. “I’m here for law, doesn’t that sound fun?”

“Like a lawyer? What made you want to be a lawyer?”

“Well, what made you decide you want to cut into people’s skulls for a living?”

“My sadistic streak.”

Tendou shot her a look out of the corner of his eye. He sucked his lips in and shook his head, holding back a smirk.

“I was so-o joking ple-ease don’t take that seriously.” She covered her mouth with her hands. She shook her head apologetically and Tendou couldn’t help but find it hilarious.

“Why should I listen to you? It might just be another one of your sadistic thoughts, hm?”

“Oh, this is a horrible first impression. I’m so sorry.”

“Sadists don’t say sorry, __.” She gaped, then popped her lips.

“On the topic of sadism, what kind of things are you into?” She inquired.

“Are you asking me about my kinks or what I do for fun?”

“The second one!”

“Well, uh, the first one could apply to both.” He smirked, only for her to wiggle her eyebrows. “But uh, to sum me up, I’m basically just a taller than average nerd.”

“Well, I’m a shorter than average nerd, it’s nice to meet my kin.”

They arrived at the coffee shop near his dorm room a quick minute later. He didn’t know what to think of __, not one bit. For now, he decided that he liked her. She got him. At least, she got the person he presented himself as. She listened to everything he had to say and more, and judging by her demeanor she liked talking to him. He found out she liked anime and could name all 196 countries on earth. He found out she was a dancer in high school but quit because she had to, not because she wanted to. He told her all about Shiratorizawa, the good parts, at least. He brushed the thin skin above the hard flesh and decided that, if they were to stay friends, he’d let her in on the cruelty later on. Her coffee order was just as odd as she was, it took her longer to explain than it actually took them to make. She was different, Tendou could sense it, and he could sense something else creeping up on him too.

At the end of it all she had given him her phone number. He warned her that he may just send an onslaught of memes to her at three in the morning, but that made her want to give him her number even more. “I’d rather get unsolicited memes than unsolicited nudes”, is what she said. He had dropped her off at her dorm at six and on his entire walk home he felt dizzy. He was overthinking again, but it couldn’t be helped. Although in the front of his mind, all was positive. She liked him, she wasn’t afraid of him. She complimented his hair and his freckles and his sense of humor. She was flirting with him, she liked him. There was nobody she was using him for, she said it herself that she barely knew anybody. But why couldn’t he bring himself to believe her? Maybe one day, he’d bring it up to her. For now, he just wanted to pass out.

“You wanna get deep, Satori?”

It was a question she had asked at two in the morning on the friday night before spring break. A question that made his heart race out of his chest. They were alone in his dorm room along with dozens of empty soda cans, all the lights off besides the cheap lamp on his nightstand. They sat on his bed, legs crossed, facing each other. For the longest time none of them said a word, before Tendou let out a sigh.

“You really wanna get deep with me, __?”

“I’ve wanted to get deep with you since the day we met.” She shrugged, taking a subconscious sip of her coffee. “Is that weird?”

“Kinda… not judging though.” Tendou shrugged. He cracked his neck and placed his half empty can of coke on the nightstand. “I trust you well enough to tell you my tragic anime villain backstory. You cool with that?”

“Lay it on me.”

Tendou sat silent for a moment, contemplating the situation he was wedged into. It was way too late and he was already high on the feeling of sleep deprivation, and there was nothing left for him to lose.

“I was kind of a weird child. Hell, I’m still a weird child depending on who you ask. Ah, weird elementary schooler, we’ll go with that. I’ve always loved volleyball ‘cause its so fast paced without getting physical. I was addicted to that… rush. You prolly don’t get what I mean by that.”

“I feel what you mean.”

“Good. I started playing when I was six or seven-ish. Loved it. Didn’t love me though. The other kids… the other kids would bully me. A lot. I was called a… a monster. They didn’t like my hair or my eyes or my freckles or the way I moved…. I was just a human version of road bump. In their way. They’d beat me up but I never fought back. I always went home with a split lip or a black eye… tons of scrapes. It was really hard… insanely. I ended up beating one of them in a volleyball match with this block, which pretty much became my signature. I told you ‘bout the Guess Block, right? I wasn’t bullied as much after that, at least, not physically. Middle school sucked. I mean, middle school sucked for everyone, right? My teammates talked so much shit, so did my coach. I was included but damn, I was never included. Nobody liked me but I kinda just had to deal with that. I didn’t even like myself. Until high school came. Damn, when I say high school was the best three years of my life, I mean it. Best team ever, awesome group of guys. The type of people who would kick someone’s teeth in if they looked at you funny. It was acceptance, I… I loved it. Sometimes I even forgot that people ever hated me ‘cause these guys made up for every shitty moment of my life up until then. I wanna say those were the only friends I’ve ever had. The only people who didn’t see me as… a monster. Graduation sucked, it was like leaving the only paradise I had ever known. I’m proud to say I cried for three days straight in my bedroom afterwards. You can quote me on that if you ever need blackmail, by the way, __. When I met you here I think I was sceptical about you for two months straight. I’ve never met somebody who was nice to me outside of that volleyball team and you were just… weird. Like, what’s this pretty girl talking to me for? She’s using me, she’s so using me. I dated two girls in the past, one I dated for a week before she cheated on me with another guy in my class, horrible, right? And another dated me for a day and broke it off ‘cause she told me the only reason she got with me was to get closer to the volleyball captain. The volleyball captain was my actual best friend, just to let you know. Then uh, I met you and you were nice to me. You were genuinely the first person out of the team to not think I’m a monster and… and I dunno. That’s my fucked up life, beat that.”

She didn’t say a word as he finished up his rant. His face was red and he refused to look her in the eye. She knew it now. She knew the roots of his trust issues and his depression, the thoughts he’s never told anyone. She was silent as she reached over and pulled him into her arms, holding him tight as he shook. His arms found their way around her middle and he pulled her closer towards him, nuzzling his face in the crook of her neck. Tendou decided that this was nice, he could live like this.

“I’m so sorry, Satori.”

“It’s alright.”

“You know, the first time I saw you I thought you were crazy attractive?”

“Really?”

“That’s why I was staring at you. I could’ve screamed.”

“You’re lying.”

She said nothing after that, compensating to running her fingers through his matted hair.

“Satori?” She peeped after a moment of brief silence. He sniffled, lifting his head out of the crook of her neck.

“Hm?”

“You know those two girls you dated?”

“Unfortunately.”

“Have you ever been kissed?”

Satori gawked at her with wide eyes. If his heart hadn’t been hammering before it sure was now. He sighed, and shook his head.

“Will I be the biggest loser on earth if I say no, I haven’t?”

“No…” she shook her head. She blinked slowly then sighed. “Satori, can I kiss you?”

His mind went blank for a moment. It was now three in the morning and nothing else mattered to him besides her, sitting in his arms and looking at him like he meant the world to her.

“Yes.”

So she did.

She cradled his head in the palm of her hand and wasted no time in pressing her lips against his. He had short circuited, his mind even more scrambled than it had been before. He didn’t know what to do so he just went with whatever he could. His nose bumped against hers, same goes for teeth, but she was soft. She pulled away for a split second and let out a puff of air, then went back to delicately kissing him.

She pulled away after a moment, looking into his eyes and brushing the pad of her thumbs across his cheeks. She was flushed up to the core, and it made Satori smile.

“You deserve to be loved, Satori. You deserve everything. You’re the strongest person I’ve ever met and I’m insanely proud of you. I love you.” She whispered, thumbs still brushing circles across his freckled cheeks. Her words made him tear up, but she didn’t notice. Maybe she did, but payed no mind to it. She loved him. That’s all he ever wanted to hear.

“I love you too, __. Thank you.”

He didn’t quite remember what happened next, it all being just a sleep induced blur. What he did know is that the next morning he woke up with her cradled in his arms, under the covers with her hands in his hair. For the first time in ages, he had woken up happy. He didn’t want to move, hell, he didn’t even want to think. He wanted her to kiss him again, he wanted to tell her he loved her again. He wanted her to be his.

For the first time in his life, Tendou Satori had felt loved.

Internally screaming, this is amazing!!! @haikyuulovercompany got another awesome Tendou you gotta read!

Hello! I was going through your blog again (I adore it and you, btw!) and I just realized that I forgot to ask for a Japanese name on my match-up. Would you be willing to hook me up with one based on my personality from my match-up and possibly another scenario with my husband, Daichi? Maybe something like him getting protective and defending me, since I don’t do that, myself, if you don’t mind? Thanks so much, love!! <3 <3 <3

haikyuulovercompany:

Don’t worry! Since you sent it with your blog name, and not as an anonymous friend, I could find your request with no problem at all!! You got it, love!! Good to see another request from you in my box!!

It had been an unbelievable experience for Karasuno to win against
Shiratorizawa. Everyone around them kept repeating the slim possibilities they
had, some even told them they got zero chances of making it through the final.

But they did.

Of course they did.

And if that had been one memorable moment, it was almost crazy to think
nationals were already taking place.

Your presence at nationals was a complete, but pleasant surprise for
Daichi. He had taken you out two days before heading to Tokyo in order of
celebration, and so he could tell his proper goodbyes. He wasn’t going to be
gone for long, and if they lose, well, then his time away from Torono was going
to be even shorter.

At the middle of the dinner he had timidly asked if you were going to be
able to be there, at least for a day. You had said that you wouldn’t be able to
be there since your mother wouldn’t let you miss school, and you had seen his
eyes dropped in disappointment. You assured him you would be cheering for him
from home, and he had given you a smile you knew it wasn’t genuine. That had
turned you on fire.

As soon as you got home, you discussed with your mother the possibility
of going to Tokyo at least for one match. You begged her to let you be at least
in the first match Karasuno was having. You took out all of your cards, all of
your tricks, until your mother agreed. You were going to nationals only for a
day. It was enough.

You kept it a secret. It had been one of the most difficult things you’d
had to do in such a long time. You wanted to call him and scream to him you
were going to be there. You retained yourself successfully.

So by the time Karasuno had won their first national’s match, you
couldn’t help to scream his name as you hang on the railing as if your life depended
on it. You were perfectly able to see how his expression changed when he heard
your voice, and the smile plastered on his face once he verified it was true,
you were there.

You left the bleachers so you could find your way to him. The place was
big, but the guides were clear enough for you to easily find your way to him.
Or so you thought.

You were going in the right way, but you were there at the wrong time. As
you approached the zone where Daichi was supposed to be, someone crashed
against you almost making you lose your balance.

A hand gripped one of your forearms keeping you on your feet. They were
only two guys who looked like they were a couple of years older than you.
College guys at most, but not older than that.

The one that had you by the arm let you go, and you were about to say a
polite ‘thank you’ and go on, but his friend joined the two of you, and
suddenly they were looking at you with casual smiles that only sent shivers
down your spine.

“Hey, so tell me,” started to say the one who had kept you from falling,
“what’s your pretty face doing around here?”

“I’m going to miss the match, so I need to go now,” you quickly said. You
didn’t want to give those guys any personal information, nothing to help them
identify you in the future. You only wanted to be out of there.

You turned around ready to leave, but they got a hold on you again. “Oh,
come on, which match?” he pulled you up to them again. They were still smiling
at you as if they hadn’t got the hint you didn’t feel like staying with them.
“There’s a lot of them going on by now. Maybe we can watch it together,” he
insisted.

“No, thank you. I just really need to go. Please let go of my arm,” you
managed to say somehow. Your heart was through the roof. People surrounded you,
so you were sure they weren’t stupid enough to try to do anything to you in
front of such a crowd. It still made you uncomfortable.

“Oh, what’s the deal? You think you’re too good for us?” said the
friend. He had a frowned on his face making it clear your rejection was pissing
him off.

“N-no. I just want to joint my boyfriend, please.”

You thought that declaration was going to be enough for them to leave
you alone. It wasn’t. They kept the same faces as they kept holding your arm.

“It’s more fun with us,” said one of them again.

“I thought I heard she said she didn’t want to,” a familiar voice spoke
behind you. You turned your face so fast you swear your neck could’ve snapped.

Daichi was standing there with a neutral face. He was already wearing the
black Karasuno pants and jacket, and he didn’t look sweaty anymore.

“Is that your boyfriend, sweetheart?” asked the guy again. You only
nodded. Wouldn’t they just let you go?

Daichi walked to where you were, his expression was unreadable. “Why
don’t you go, and we can be done here?”

“Seriously?” asked the guy’s friend with a snort. “We’re college guys.
You should know who you’re talking to, kid.”

Daichi grabbed the guy by the collar of his jacket and aggressively
pulled him closer to him. His expression had finally changed into the scary one
every single one of his teammates feared.

“I don’t care who I’m talking to. Leave my girlfriend alone, or I will
make you do it.”

They guy sneered, and you swear the veins in Daichi’s neck and arms were
going to explode; they were intensely palpitating against his skin. You feared
the worst. Your boyfriend was at the verge of throwing the first punch. For one
unique second you regretted being there. You should have stayed home, or at you
should’ve run from them when you could.

“Daichi stop right now,” another voice interrupted him. Ukai appeared
from nowhere, and broke the two of them apart with one strong push. “If you get
into a fight right now you could cause Karasuno’s disqualification. I know you
don’t want that to happen.”

Daichi took a deep breath, and closed his eyes. He was trying to recover
his usual composer, but his hands still were two shaking fists. He was still
mad.

“Let her go before I report you from harassing a minor,” said Ukai again
to the guy holding your arm. He immediately released you throwing his hands on
the air.

“Okay. We’re leaving. I’m sorry,” said the guy as the two of them backed
up a little, before turning around to leave.

You looked around noticing how everyone’s eyes were on you. You also
noticed that practically the whole volleyball team was there as well. Asahi was
holding a furious Tanaka who was ready to take on those guys, and Sugawara was
doing the same with Nishinoya.

You felt a hand on your shoulder. It was Daichi.

“Are you okay?”

“Yes,” you answered. “At least now I am.”

“I’m glad.”

“Sorry for the trouble I almost
got you in,” you said with a soft blush on your face. You never thought you
would find yourself in that kind of situation. And the only thought of Karasuno
being disqualified terrified you.

You smiled at him trying to ease him. He gave a small smile back, and
pulled you into your arms.

“It wasn’t your fault. You’re now with me, so everything’s fine.”

“Yes. Everything’s more than fine,” you whispered against his chest.
There was no better feeling than being there, feeling save in his arms.
