Ah how about nekoma hug headcanons?

hq-cuties-pls:

These are sort of too fun??? Once again, in collaboration with @nerdytooru who is awesome and helped me with a few of the first years (on whom I was very stuck)

Kuroo: With Kuroo, it really all depends on the type of relationship you have. With people like Bokuto, he’s a casual-arm-over-the-shoulder kind of guy. With people like Tsukki or Hinata (or Daichi) it’s a teasing lean–he will literally just flop all his weight on their back. With someone like Kenma, where he wants to protect them, he gathers them into his arms, tucking them under his chin. He draws idle shapes on the back of their neck or any exposed skin–it was a soothing technique his mom used when he was a little kid. For a lover, or someone he trusts, he likes to feel protected. He likes to curl up against you, with your arms around him, and your hands in his hair. He’s always the big spoon (because he’s an actual tree) so it feels extra special to him when he’s the little spoon. He totally relaxes in your arms, and it’s sort of magical.

Kai: Sort of best hug? Like, it’s warm and soft, and he has such a deep voice and good hands for back pats. Very Comforting Dad feel. The biggest thing you notice about him is his smell. He’s allergic to most detergents and scents, so everything is unscented, so it’s all just him, and it’s a pretty great smell.

Yaku: Will do everything in his power to feel bigger than you, especially if you are taller. He is always the big spoon, and he will fight. Depending on how much taller than him you are (if you are at all) his hugs can range from pretty fantastic–where he’s holding you tight and his chin is on your head and his strong arms are holding you–to pretty awkward, because you’re bent all weird and it’s starting to hurt Morisuke, but he doesn’t really care because he just wants to feel tall.

Kenma: Not a big hugger. Likes to receive hugs, but really doesn’t give them. He’s more of a chronic leaner. Sitting on the couch watching a movie while he plays a game? He’s leaning on you. Doing homework? Lean. Doing dishes? Lean. It’s just the way he shows affection; if he’s feeling especially cuddly, he’ll bury his face in your neck. This is your invitation (read: his demand) to pet his head.

Yamamoto: Too tight. Too intense. You occasionally have to remind him that air is a thing humans need, Taketora (he got a lot of hugging advice from Tanaka, fight me). He’s just so excited, and physically he’s an affectionate guy. He loves hugs like, a lot. He’s also a lifter–like, he’ll attempt to lift you off the ground–but it’s more out of a desire to show off how strong and fired up he is than out of any enthusiasm for snugs.

Fukunaga: God-tier, amazing, saw the gates of Heaven and the answer to all things sort of hug. At least, so the legend goes. No one knows for sure, as this kid has never hugged anything so long as anyone has known him. Shibayama swears he saw him snuggling the shit out of a Pusheen pillow once, but no one believes him.

Inuoka: So overflowing with enthusiasm he will probably tackle you by accident. It’s a bit infectious, though, so you don’t end up minding so much. He promises he’ll be more careful next time, but he probably won’t be.

Lev: This kid is all limb. His hugs are kind of awkward, but in an endearing way. It’s a bit like hugging a telephone pole, but he’ll fold himself around you and rest his chin on your head and it’s super sweet. Beware, though: if he’s excited, there is an elevated chance that you’ll end up getting an elbow to the face. Forgive him, though. He really didn’t mean to, he was just excited about hugs.

Shibayama: Gentle soul. Baby kitten. Curls up into your side and clings tight and won’t let go. He likes to hide his face in your body, nuzzling and cooing softly. He likes to have his back rubbed, and he likes your voice. Please protect him, he is small and soft and needs help.

More hugging!!!!

(A valentine’s card suddenly appears on the gym floor, there’s a card that has a volleyball going over a net. The card says) Yaku-San, I’m over the net for you. Good luck at Nationals! Love, Your Secret admirer

“Senpai, did you see this?” Lev shouts waving the card two and fro.

Yaku snatches it out of his hand, reads it and blushes two shades of red. He looks all around but can’t see the sender.

He can only hope you reveal yourself at Nationals, preferably after they win.

Would you write a scenario where Kuroo chats with his crush on the train all the time but it so happened that once mid-talk she passed out. I wondered what would he react like and think? I had an episode few days ago and freaked out but apparently my anemia is really bad :(

haikyuulovercompany:

😦 that’s horrible, babe. Please let me know how have you been feeling since you sent this, like, months ago… I hope everything is good with you. And I hope you like this !

Kuro walked with a small smile on his face. It had been a couple of months since his mornings had turned into a joyful ride.
Mornings would usually be the worst, but that had changed. As he finally
reached the train station, he passed in front of the big windows. Inevitably he
stopped to check himself. He passed a hand over his hair gaining nothing but to
mess it up even a little more, if that was possible. He had terrible hair, he
was more than aware of that. His tie was in place, and it seemed there was not a
spot on his white school shirt. It was all in place.

He entered the station, and quickened his pace. He
looked at the hour on his phone and felt victorious. He was still on time for
his favorite train. It always carried this young lady, around his age, that welcomed him with smiling eyes.

One of his feet tapped the floor destroying the casual
façade he portrayed. He had known her for months now, but the anticipation of
seeing her still made him nervous.

In the blink of an eye an echoing sound came from the
tunnel, and in another blink, the train was just in front of him stopping with
the shrieking of the brakes.

As soon as he stepped into the wagon, his eyes
searched for her. He grabbed one of the metal railings barely avoiding falling
due to the train charging again. He excused himself to the woman with who he had almost crashed against. She only gave him an annoyed gaze as an answer. Kuro
moved to the back of the wagon still hoping he didn’t get into the wrong one.
But as he reached the end, sitting against the back wall in a corner there she
was. The wagon wasn’t packed that early in the morning, and for his luck there
was an empty spot right beside her. As he approached her, she lifted her head
immediately smiling at him

“Good morning, _______,” Kuro said to her as he sat at
her side.

“Good morning, Kuro,” she answered as sweetly as
always, but there was something quite different. Her voice sounded weaker, and
it was difficult for him not to notice her skin looked slightly pale, even a
little dull. He had been infatuated with her since the first moment they
crossed paths in the train, so he knew all too well how her skin would usually shine.

“Are you okay?” he immediately asked.

“Yeah, well, tired maybe but just that,” she said. Her
eyes did seem tired.

He tried to insist, but she immediately asked him
about the volleyball tournament he had just around the corner. She was trying
to sound enthusiastic, yet he could still hear the faint weakness in her voice.
He decided not to dwell too much. If she didn’t want him peeking at whatever
was going on, he was not going to force her.

They talked like every morning. They talked about
homework, tests, and the daily life trifles. The train
stopped for the second time. Their stop was the next. They started to get up,
but she went down back into her seat. Kuro returned to his.

“______, are you truly okay?” She nodded with her head
down, hair falling down her face, as she held on to his wrist. Kuro finally knew there was definitely
something wrong. The grip she had on him loosened, and she fell forward. Kuro
grabbed her by her forearm stopping her body to crash face first against the
cold metal floor of the train, and pulled her back into the seat.

Her body was like a rag doll, and her eyes were
closed. Kuro panicked when the realization hit him. She had fainted. He shook
her first as he called her name but no answer came. A big wide crater formed in
the pit of his stomached and it creped all the way to his head. His head
clouded for a second. The digital bell announcing the new stop through the
speakers brought his common sense back. People around him were staring making
him feel more anxious.

What was he
supposed to do?

He placed his fingers against her neck looking for a
pulse. His mind suddenly was making up the worst scenarios possible. The last thing he wanted was to see her like that. The idea of something happening to her crushed his heart.

“Does someone have alcohol here!?” one man shouted and
the people started to shuffle, looking in their bags. “A girl fainted!”

He closed his own eyes trying to calm himself, counted and waited, his hands began to sweat. Just
when he found her pulse her eyes started to open again. She tried to sit straight, but Kuro pushed her back with shaky hands.

“No, rest for a while,” Kuro said to her.

The bell of the train sounded again announcing they
had missed their stop. It had been only a minute, maybe two, but for him it had
felt like an eternity.

“I’m sorry,” she said in a whisper. Kuro shook his
head. Maybe it was the adrenaline that had overtaken him in those few moments,
but he took her hand without a second thought.

“Let’s give you a couple of minutes before we go out
and I buy you something sweet.”

“Yeah, sugar is what this girl needs. Get her a big soda or even a whole cake just for her,” a noisy old
lady in front of them added. As soon as ______ had recovered consciousness the
curious people had dissipated. Everyone except the old lady, of course.

“I will, miss,” he politely answered.

The train stopped three more times before they got off of the train. Kuro had offered ______ his arm, and was carrying not only
his schoolbag, but also hers. The train parted leaving a heavy gust behind it.
She still was pale, and now she looked even weaker than before.

Kuro sighed in a mix of relief and worried and pulled
her into a hug. “Next time, please don’t tell you’re not feeling bad. I was so
worried.”

“I didn’t think I would faint. It isn’t like this all
the time.”

“Let’s get you something to eat, and then back to your
house to have some rest,” he said before offering her his arm again.

Thanks for the request! I hope you liked it!

Sweetheart Kuroo to the rescue! I just love him!

Aah! For the fun prompt, may I request (this was so hard to decide btw because I love all my babies) Kenma?

Thank you for asking! Feel free to send in another, I don’t mind with these to get multiple requests!

Kenma Impressions

First impression: When
I first saw him I thought, ok, shy boy, awkward, but he’s obviously going to be
somebody cause why would Hinata meet
him like this? Then we see him at the practice match and I was like “Oh no, he’s
gonna be one of those crafty, quiet types.” Which of course he is, figuring out
the quick and such.

Impression now: I
love how he’s coming out of his shell just a tiny bit. I’m looking forward to
more interactions between him and Hinata. After watching the Nekoma OVA, I
really love how dramatic he is lol. Like, it’s so long suffering to be dealing
with Lev (which I’m sure it is to be honest) and his sarcasm is just so funny.

Favorite moment: When
he tells Hinata that he looks forward to playing them in a real match. Just the
fact that he’s thinking it and hoping/knowing it will happen and that he wants it, he cares about it in a
different way than he ever has anything else to with volleyball.

Idea for a story: I’d
love to see a story showing how he and Kuroo even met in the first place. Like,
I see that they lived close to each other but how did they meet? Did their mom’s force them to play together? Did
Kuroo just randomly start talking to him? What prompted that friendship to even
start?

Unpopular opinion: This
will probably be the same answer for any character who’s in a major ship. I don’t
ship the boys together other than in broships.

Favorite relationship: Him
and Hinata. I love how Hinata draws him out in a way Kuroo isn’t able to
because Hinata is very unexpected and vioatile. There’s so much history between
Kuroo and Kenma that Kenma can kind of ignore his attempts, but with Hinata it’s
all natural, he has no ulterior motive or motivation to make Kenma do anything
so for him to be able to get him more interested in volleyball on a different
level is amazing. I love that they text each other!

Favorite headcanon: That
he is a grade A cuddler; like he has so much skill for wrapping himself around
or next to his girlfriend (whenever he gets one) and can do so comfortably even
while playing his hand held while she’s probably on hers lol.
