OHOHOHOOHOHH!!! For your Two-part drabble game could I request Matsukawa & Hanamaki with scenario #10, with sentence #12?? Thanks in advance darling!~

Scenario #10: After a near-death experience.

Sentence #12: “If you’re so bored, I have other ideas on how to pass the time…"

I modified the phrasing of the sentence to fit the scene. Hope you enjoy! It’s my first time writing Hanamaki, so I hope I did him justice!

Matsukawa scoffed at the blood on his suit. “If we survive this, you’re buying me new threads,” he grunted to Hanamaki as he reloaded his gun.

“What? Why? Just get it dry cleaned!” the pink haired male snapped, trying to get a clean shot and nearly getting a bullet to the head for his troubles.

“It’s white, dumbass! The best they’ll be able to do with it is turn it part pink and while that may be your favorite color, it isn’t mine!”

Hanamaki pouted, raising his gun to pick off one of the punks that had managed to get behind their safe zone;

“Shut up, you love pink.”

“Could you not fire so close to my ear?”

“Oh my mistake, next time I’ll just let you take a bullet to the back instead, asshole.”

Matsukawa opened his mouth to retort only to snap it shut when he felt a bullet graze his temple. Ok, maybe they really should start paying attention. His eyes, though appearing half closed, didn’t miss the movement to his right and he fired off three shots, a satisfying scream of agony indicative of hitting his target.

Hanamaki huffed, “You know, if you were so bored, I had other ideas on how to pass the time.”

“Oh, such as?” Matsukawa asked, cocking one of his ridiculously attractive eyebrows.

“Stealing cars, I don’t know… maybe dancing?”

Matsukawa chuckled, reloaded and fired again. “I don’t know, this feels sorta like a dance.”

“Yeah, dancing with death,” Hanamaki snapped, taking note they were really getting surrounded now.

Matsukawa shrugged; “Like we’d have it any other way. Just another day in the life, right?”

Hanamaki nodded; “Let’s just hope we live to be bored again.”

“The next time you two morons pull a stunt like that, I’ll kill you myself,” Iwaizumi snapped before slamming the door of Matsukawa’s room.

After a beat of silence, he smirked at Hanamaki; “So, last night you mentioned dancing…”

MatsuTen – First Kiss

The first touch of their lips was soft, so soft it was almost as though they were ghosts to each other, their nerves holding them back as though they were tethered.

Matsukawa nearly opened his eyes, wondering if Tendou were second guessing this; had he pushed too hard, moved too fast?

Then a hand was in his hair, tugging him forward and Tendou’s lips slotted more fully against his own, a low hum vibrating Matsukawa all the way to his toes; apparently he wasn’t moving fast enough.

Omg haikyuu blind date plz

Matsukawa Issei sits bouncing his leg, twisting the napkin on his lap. Why did he ever agree to a blind date? He must be crazy. Knowing Hanamaki he probably arranged for Oikawa to show up with a bunch of fanfare to annoy and embarrass both of them.

But his fears fall away as you step into view, the hostess pointing to his table, He stands quickly, smoothing out his jacket and wishing he’d taken the time to get it dry cleaned.

“Matsukawa-san?” you ask and he nods. You smile, extending your hand. “I’m _____, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Your voice is pleasant, like your face.

He pulls out your chair, settling you in before returning to his seat. “Sorry for the boring setting,” he says scratching his cheek. “To be honest, I thought Hanamaki was pulling a fast one on me.”

You giggle and he definitely likes the sound of it.

“That makes two of us,” you reply, mirth glowing in your eyes.

“Well, guess we owe him an apology,” Matsukawa chuckles.

“Oh? So sure this is going to end well?” you tease.

“Yeah. He didn’t tell you? I’m psychic.” He nods sagely and you snort.

“Interesting proclamation, given you couldn’t see this wasn’t a ruse to a bad joke.”

He shrugs. “I’m rusty. But you’ll see I’m right.”

And when you go out again a week later, you’re forced to admit he was “right”.

for the headcanons, f for matsukawa please?

I love for family asks writing about the boys in the future so I hope you like these.

Family (anything involving family, or if they seem like the type not to be that close to their family, their friends)

  • Matsukawa and Hanamaki stay friends (and end up roommates) through college.
  • Hence, when they meet their girlfriends (who also happen to be sisters) it’s the like the stars aligned.
  • They get married within a year of each other.
  • Somehow, the girls end up pregnant at almost the same time, their sons born within a month of each other.
  • Being part of the same family means they see each other for every holiday and as they add to their respective broods all the little tykes become friends as much as they are family.
  • They take turns who hosts holidays to give a break to all their parents.
  • It’s always pandemonium, especially when Oikawa and Iwaizumi and their respective families show up for birthday parties.
  • But it’s always a blast and they wouldn’t change it for the world.

Fun fact about your admin: my sister in law and I were childhood friends who grew up together and married brothers and now have the same first and last name.

Matsukawa and 18! Thank you!

Matsukawa – #18 Christmas proposal

His expression gives no indication of the trepidation in his heart. He’s fairly sure she’ll say yes, they’ve been together three years and those have been filled with enough ups and downs that he knows she’ll stay by him through anything.

But it’s difficult to fully combat the fear of “what if?”.

Taking a deep breath, Matsukawa checks his pocket, he’s lost count at this point of how many times, fingers rubbing against the small leather box nestled within, questions about its contents bombarding his mind.

Is the diamond too small? Is it the right cut? Did he get her ring size right? Did she want a different metal for the band?

The door opens, revealing her in a solid red dress, sparkling silver belt around her waist, a jeweled bow in her hair.

He inhales sharply, overcome with the Christmas vision she makes.

“Issei, you look so handsome!” she compliments, bright smile on her face. “Merry Christmas!”

His chest tightens, unexpected emotions welling in him faster than he can filter them. “Marry me…I mean….Merry Christmas!” he practically shouts.

She startles, eyes a bit wider.

Matsukawa is sure his heart has actually stopped beating. Did he really just blurt that out? And then correct himself like it was mistake? Granted it was, he hadn’t meant to say that now but he wants her to marry him more than anything in the world!

Before she can respond, he falls to both knees before her, grabbing her left hand. “Actually, I meant the first. I…I had a whole thing planned, clearly that’s a moot point.” He takes a deep breath, forcing himself to keep his eyes on her face. “I love you, so, so much, and I’d be deeply honored if you’d give me the best Christmas gift of my life by accepting my proposal.” Taking out the box, he opens it, holding it up before her. “Will you marry me?”

In the twinkling lights of the tree, he can see tears welling in her eyes but her smile assures him of their nature.

Falling to her own knees, her arms wrap around his neck. “Yes, Issei, I’ll marry you.”

He smiles, pulling back to slip the ring on her finger and press his lips to hers.

Matsukawa and L! Thank you!!!

Love (How do they show love physically, verbally, etc.?)

Serious as this boy can be, he does like teasing his significant other. Basically, if he teases you, he likes you. If he loves you, watch out. He knows just how to get under your skin but it’s all in good fun.

If he takes things too far, he’ll make up for it with sweet kisses and long hugs.
