G H I J K for captains of Hq!!!

I did not include Suguru Daishō because I do not read the
manga so I have not been introduced to him yet.

Side note: If anyone knows the artist for this picture PLEASE tell me so I can credit them. I tried finding them through the image but it kept dead-ending on twitter for some reason. Anyway, don’t they look like SUPERHEROES?!!!

G =
Goofy
(Are
they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)

Daichi:
Overall, Daichi is a serious guy, but he isn’t above being lighthearted in the
bedroom. He may not be joking around, but he smiles and every so often will
tickle you unexpectedly to get you to giggle.

Oikawa: Such
a tease and flirt, he can’t help but be a little silly every now and again even
while in the bedroom.

Kuroo:
Goofy.as.hell. As much as this boy does have mad bedroom game, if you catch him
in a silly mood you will be gasping but it will be because you’re laughing so
hard. Not every time has to be serious according to him.

Bokuto: The
mass of muscles is the BIGGEST goofball out there. Seriously, you’d think he
was trying out a comedy routine rather than working to get you off. It’s not
every time, thank goodness, but every so often he enjoys filling your body with
endorphins by making you laugh.

Ushijima: This
boy is serious pretty much 100% of the time in any area of life, so it should
come as no surprise that he’s the same way in the bedroom. Granted, he does
smile a bit more when it’s just the two of you.

Terushima: He’s
the captain of the happy go lucky team, what do you think? Terushima loves
getting down to business just as much as the next guy but he’s a firm believer
in you should be able to make your lover laugh, even at the possible expense of
a completed orgasm. Don’t worry, he’ll make it up to you next time.

Futakuchi:
Futakuchi is more sarcastic than goofy, more often than not opting for a more
serious take in the bedroom. He likes to tease, no doubt about that, but being
goofy or silly? Not really his thing.

H = Hair (How
well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)

Daichi: For some reason, I always picture Daichi as a smooth mo-fo and I’m not
just talking about his voice or his attitude. Because he has such dark hair
(above and below) he shaves almost all of it off save for on his legs. His
chest is almost always bare of any hair and he keeps his package well groomed
as well.

Oikawa: The king (haha) of personal hygiene. Oikawa makes sure to use lotion
to keep his body lubed up and smooth, believing it more likely you’ll want to
touch him if he does. And down below? Almost bare.

Kuroo: Messy bedhead aside, Kuroo keeps himself well groomed in other
respects. He has soft dark hair on his stomach but his chest and back are
smooth af. He always smells good too, trying different body sprays till he
finds the one he really likes (or one that you compliment him on).

Bokuto: Owl boy doesn’t have time to worry about trimming but thankfully the
only place on his body where hair seems to grow in spades is his head. He has a
light dusting of light, almost baby hair on his arms, stomach and legs.

Ushijima: Does a sufficient job of keeping himself clean and groomed. He doesn’t
obsess over it but he doesn’t neglect it either.

Terushima: All about making his body as desirable as he can. You want
him to have hair? He’ll let it grow. You like him smooth? Hell, he may just
give waxing a try. Terushima likes to look good for you so don’t be afraid to
give him your opinion.

Futakuchi: Naturally practically hairless everywhere expect his head
and his…well head. And the lower of the two he keeps properly groomed. If he
expects his lady to keep herself up, he can’t very well slack off, now can he?

I =
Intimacy (How are they during the
moment, romantic aspect…)

Daichi: This captain is not above admitting he likes things a bit rougher (he
may be sweet but we all know he has a bit of a sadistic side) however, he will
take his time at the beginning with slow, sensual kisses and touches to warm
you up. Afterwards, he’ll do the same for cool down. It’s really how he is on
the court to be honest, just naked and only with you.

Oikawa: This boy is very misunderstood, often being thought to be selfish and
uncaring but nothing could be further from the truth. Oikawa will worship your
body from head to toe all while whispering sweet nothings in your ear.

Kuroo: Despite his goofy and slightly dork-like tendencies, Kuroo can be
quite the smooth talker. We all know he’s the “scheming captain” so he’ll be a
few steps ahead in his mind of where he wants to take you and how to get you
there. The intensity ranges from slow and sweet to hard and hot depending on
his (and your) moods.

Bokuto: Initially, he’ll be awkward because he’s so excited to be with you he
just can’t stand it! This may result in a few uncomfortable moments (clicked
teeth, too eager fingers, even pushing in too soon) but as long as you keep the
communication flowing he’ll get the hang of it and every time will improve over
the last.

Ushijima: Very quiet and focused, so much so if you close your eyes you’ll
wonder if he’s still there if he’s not touching you. But while he may be a man
of very few words, Ushijima lets his actions do all the talking.

Terushima: Well rounded and confident, Terushima knows how to pleasure
you and do it well. He’s got quite a bit of experience and uses it to his full
advantage.

Futakuchi: Not necessarily selfish but he can be quite demanding so if
you’re not used to that things could get a bit awkward. However, if you’re into
his dominance, he’ll give you so much pleasure in return for giving him what he
wants.

J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)

Daichi: Prefers the real deal whenever possible, but when he’s away at
training camp and frustrated from continual losses (and punishments) he’ll
steal away to the bathroom and use images of you in his mind to take the edge
off. When he gets home, be ready to get wrecked.

Oikawa: Does so more to experiment on himself so he can tell you what he likes
best. After all, knowledge is power, right? He just hopes you use it for good.

Kuroo: He’s more likely to do so when he’s so busy with captaincy and
homework and you’re doing your own thing so the two of you don’t have time to
connect. He’ll probably call you in the middle of the night because nothing
gets him going faster than the sound of your voice telling him what you’ll be
doing to him the next time you’re together.

Bokuto: This boy has such high energy and stamina that he has to jack off a
couple times a week just so he doesn’t overwhelm you. He’s a bit bashful about
it but it is what it is.

Ushijima: Actually prefers not to because when he’s finally with you again the
sensations are so much more heightened, though he has had to every now and
again just for relief purposes.

Terushima: This boy’s actually into having you watch him do it. The
feel of your gaze on him turns him on so much but of course he’ll want you to
reciprocate and show him what you like on yourself as well.

Futakuchi: Nothing earth shattering, but if you tease him
(intentionally or not) and he isn’t able to take the time to act on it with
you, he’ll steal away to the bathroom or locker room to deal with the issue and
punish you later.

K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)

Daichi: I think we all know what this one is because it’s a head canon pretty
much EVERYONE shares. One word: Daddy. Daichi is Dad-chi not only to his team
but to you and when you call him that, oh boy, daddy will deliver the goods!

Oikawa: Praise, praise, praise! The boy can’t help it! He’s been admired for
his looks and talent for years so nothing gets him going faster than hearing
sweet words of adoration from your lips. Compliment him, tell him how good he’s
doing and he will make sure you get everything you want.

Kuroo: Role playing, especially in public. Kuroo loves picking an outfit for
you and sending you to a random café, restaurant, park, what have you and pick
you up all over again.

Bokuto: Bondage. Bokuto is a strong guy, no doubt, but the visual of you
completely at his mercy without him having to hold you down himself? Damn that
is so hot! He loves tying you down and having his way with you until you’re a
panting, begging mess.

Ushijima: Similar to Daichi, except his kink is captain. Ushijima is one proud farmer boy, so when you bring his
title into the bedroom you may just get a bit more than you anticipated; lucky
girl.

Terushima: Dirty talk. This boy has quite the mouth on him and will
have you blushing with all the trash that comes out of it. If you turn the
tables on him and start spouting your own indecency he’ll have you on your back
in seconds.

Futakuchi: Partially clothed sex.
Knowing you just couldn’t wait to have him in you while you’re still
half-dressed gets his blood (and hips) pumping like no other. Tackle him when
he gets home from practice and just watch his eyes roll back.

Hey I think I’m still in time for a song fic request?^^’ Could I please get the song “first day of my life” by Bright eyes for Kuroo. I don’t mind what the story is but I had a scenario incase you were stuck. Maybe a foreign exchange student comes to Nekoma High and they slowly and shyly fall for eachother? Like they have to cope with the language barrier and she’s shy but they feel comfortable around eachother and he realised he doesn’t want her to leave? Thank you so much, have a good night:)

Thank you for the request! I’m sorry this isn’t exactly as you
requested but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

“First Day of my Life” by Bright Eyes – Kuroo

Kuroo doesn’t know why today feels different but there’s a
buzzing in his head that just won’t go away. It’s like all the world is tense
and waiting, waiting for something to happen. He rubs his eyes, ready to
believe he just didn’t sleep well last night. Flopping into his seat, he takes
out his notebook filled with volleyball formations to give a quick review
before class starts.

Your musical laughter sounds from the front of the room and
he looks up. His breath catches in the hollow of his throat. It’s like he’s
seeing you for the first time.

Yours was the first
face that I saw

I think I was blind
before I met you

The room and people around him fade away leaving only your
beauty caught in his gaze. How can it have taken him this long to notice how mesmerizing you are? And what changed? Did
you cut your hair, dye it? You wear the same uniform as all the other girls in
school but somehow, today, it hugs you just right, showing off your feminine
figure more acutely than ever before. His mouth goes from dry to wet, a quick
gulp of his throat taking down the extra saliva that has suddenly pooled there.
Is he seriously almost drooling over
you?

He notices too late that you’ve caught him staring and he
can only imagine the look that’s on his face when he sees your reaction to it.

Kuroo stands up, moving swiftly to your position by the
door. Without a word, he grabs your hand and tugs and you follow him without a
second thought. He’s your friend, you trust him and clearly something is wrong
if his expression is anything to go by. Soon enough you’re in a semi-secluded
spot near the lockers, away from the eyes of hall monitors, at least for now.

Kuroo turns around, towering over you as he looks down into
your eyes. You can’t read his expression, are unsure of what is happening or
where this is going but you stay silent waiting for his words.

I don’t know where I
am, I don’t know where I’ve been

But I know where I
want to go

A wave of nerves shakes Kuroo to his core; he finally
realizes what’s happened. It’s like he’s waking up from a haze. It isn’t that
his life has been bad before, but he knows, he just knows, that having you in it in a more permanent capacity will make
it so much better. So he swallows his fear, takes your hands in his and opens
his mouth.

“I don’t know why I never saw it properly before, _____-chan,
but…you’re amazing.” His words send your pulse into overdrive, the threat of
fainting real when he squeezes your hands and continues, “I know this is out of
the blue and I could have probably chosen a better time and place to do it, but…this
couldn’t wait.”

And so I’d thought I’d
let you know

That these things take
forever, I especially am slow

But I realized that I
need you

And I wondered if I
could come home

“Kuroo-san,” you whisper but he shakes his head and you fall
silent.

“______-chan, I…I really, really like you,” he confesses,
hands sweating as the words roll off his tongue. “Would you…would you consider
going out with me?”

Your eyes open wider in surprise but a second later you’re
smiling. Giving his hands a squeeze you nod your head slowly. Kuroo grins,
swooping down to gather you in a large hug around your waist. You let loose a
giggle as your arms wrap around his neck.

The impulsivity of his confession and your acceptance will
no doubt create waves in both your lives, especially since you’re a foreign
exchange student set to return to your home country at the end of the year. But
as you look in Kuroo’s eyes you know this is right and somehow, despite time
and distance in the future, you’ll make it work.

This is the first day
of my life

I’m glad I didn’t die
before I met you

But now I don’t care,
I could go anywhere with you

And I’d probably be
happy

Hiya! :3 Can I please request a song fic for Kuroo x fem!reader? The song is Somewhere only we Know by Keane, the reader is leaving for a year because she’s a exchange student. If possible do fluff, angst and nsfw (all of them hehe) I hope I don’t bother you and that the rules are Ok, thanks in advance sweetie and congrats reaching 1.000 ❤

Thank you for the congratulations and for requesting my favorite
cat captain! And it’s never a bother hearing from you all, I love the requests
I receive and you followed the rules perfectly. Also, this ended up hella long
so I’m putting it under the cut. I hope you enjoy!

Somewhere Only We Know by Keane – Kuroo

The first time Kuroo saw you, he was distracted. He was running
late for practice and had to sprint across the campus in order to get the gym
even remotely on time. Just as he exited from the overhang of one of the
classrooms, a startled, “Look out!” drew his attention. With his quick
reflexes, he was able to dodge whatever it was that landed in the place he was
formerly standing. Looking up, he caught sight of your blushing face, a
confused scowl on his own.

“What’s the big idea tossing things from there!” he shouted up and
you blushed further.

“So…sorry, senpai,” you stammered out, heart hammering in your
chest.

From beside you a fellow underclassman explained you were
conducting the “egg drop” test for your science class. Reaching down, Kuroo
found the object for which all this trouble, and his now being late to
practice, had caused. It was an orange wrapped snuggly with a rubber band.

Looking back up at you, he smirked. “Looks like you’ll get a passing
grade,” he supplied then took off again as he tossed it back up to your
position. You fumbled a bit but caught it, eyes chasing after his tall form as
he ran.

As he left, Kuroo gave you one last consideration: you were cute.
How had he not seen you before now? But the answer supplied itself as he
entered the gym; once focused on volleyball everything and everyone else faded
into the background.

I walked
across an empty land

I knew the
pathway like the back of my hand

I felt the
earth beneath my feet

Sat by the
river, and it made me complete

The second time you ran into each other, he was on his way home on
the train, eyes fixated on his failed test. Overall, his grades were decent but
falling behind was not an option; his mother had already warned one more failed
class and she’d pull him from the team. Grumbling, he didn’t notice you take a
seat until the train lurched and you crashed into him, body unprepared for the
shift of the car.

“I’m sorry,” you cried out hastening to move away from him.

His eyes landed on you, widening a bit when he realized you looked
familiar. Suddenly it came to him. “You’re the orange drop girl, aren’t you?”
he asked.

Blinking at him, you managed a small shy smile, nodding slightly.

Looking down, you saw that his paper had fallen to the ground
during your impact and trying to be kind, you picked it up. Your eyes couldn’t
stop from reading the page, a crimson flushing across your cheeks as you
realized he probably didn’t want anyone, let alone a stranger from his school,
seeing it. But you also couldn’t help noticing he was struggling in a subject
you were quite astute in.

Before you thought better of it, your lips were moving. “If you
need help in this subject, I could tutor you.” A deep flush overtook your face
but you forced yourself to meet Kuroo’s eyes.

His face spoke of incredulity and he was seconds away from turning
you down. Honestly, the last thing he wanted to admit was that he needed help
but he was running out of time and focusing on school was getting harder the
closer and closer they crept towards Nationals.

Extending his hand, he replied, “Ok, orange-drop girl, show me
what’cha got?”

You shook hands, offering, “It’s l/n, f/n, in case you were
wondering, Kuroo-senpai.”

He chuckled. “Sure, _______-san.”

Oh, simple
thing, where have you gone?

I’m
getting old and I need something to rely on

So tell me
when you’re gonna let me in

I’m
getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

His first study session with you proved a challenge because he
couldn’t focus. His phone was constantly going off with questions from the team
not to mention other groups he was involved in projects for. Normally a focused
person, Kuroo found it very difficult to give his full attention to the subject
matter mostly because his lack of understanding it frustrated him. He was
tense, eye brows furrowed but no matter how hard he tried, everything you were
saying didn’t make sense.

“You know, I think this is just a waste of time,” he muttered.
When he saw your face flush he hastily added, “Your time, not mine. I just
don’t get this crap.”

You were silent for a moment, weighing how you could help him. You
weren’t even fully sure why you’d offered on the train, it just sort of fell
out. But you could stubborn and knew if you could just get him to focus he
would do fine. Nodding your head once, you stood up. Kuroo didn’t bother to
look up, partially ashamed of giving up so quickly so he started a bit when
your hand grasped his firmly and tugged.

“Come on,” you nodded your head in the direction of the bedroom
door before grabbing your bag and heading out.

Curious, Kuroo began to follow but you threw back over your
shoulder, “Bring your study material.”

He huffed in vexation but figured if he drug you out here on a
Saturday the least he could do is follow your instructions. Grabbing his
backpack, he stuffed the books and papers in haphazardly and pursued you.

You made your way to a little known park hidden behind an
abandoned apartment complex. “So what is this?” he asked as you rounded the
building.

“It’s where I used to live when I was a kid but the building’s foundation
was set in soft soil so it was condemned.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,” he said awkwardly.

“Don’t be, it’s not like I’m broken up about it,” you offered
kindly. “But the one thing I did miss as I was growing up was this park.”

“Yeah, it’s really nice,” he observed, “Especially for not being
kept up.”

“It’s kind of wild now, that’s why I like it,” you confessed.

“So you like things wild, huh?” he teased. By now you were used to
his antics and so just rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t stop a heated flush
from creeping up your throat.

Nearing a giant tree the center of the park, you pointed up.
“That,” you said looking over your shoulder at him, “is my sanctuary. I’ve
never shown this to anyone since coming back so I’d appreciate it if you kept
it to yourself.”

Kuroo’s eyes grew wide at the sight of the monstrous tree, a
seemingly well-built treehouse secured among it’s strong branches. As you
reached the trunk, he looked about. “How the hell do you get up there?” he
asked bewildered. “Don’t tell me you climb it!”

“Scared of heights, Kuroo-kun?” you teased.

“No, but I do have a healthy respect for gravity and this trunk
looks a little steep,” he retorted.

“Oh ye of little faith,” you smirked.

Kuroo could definitely say he’d rubbed off on you. You were much
less prone to behaving shyly around him and for some reason it made him happy.
He watched as you reached into what looked like a solid branch only to find you
could put your hand into it, a rope the reward of its hidden compartment. A
firm tug resulted in a wooden ladder descending from the branches above. With
steady hands and feet, you shimmied up the swaying apparatus with ease. He
swallowed thickly, nerves almost getting the better of him but he couldn’t back
down now!

Much slower than you, he climbed rung after rung until he reached
the top. As he settled against the ground of the treehouse you pulled back
curtains to reveal a grand view of the park.

“This is where I come to relax mostly but every so often I use it
as a haven where I can fully focus on the tasks I have. Cell reception is
pretty much nill so I kind of give into the fantasy that I’m
somewhere…magical.” Your cheeks erupted in vibrant red at your confession and
Kuroo’s slight chuckle.

“Well, it certainly is interesting, I’ll give you that,” he
commented. Looking back at your face, he smiled sincerely and you felt your
heart leap into your throat. “Either way, thanks for sharing this with me. You
didn’t have to do this.”

“I know,” you whispered pulling a blanket from your bag that you
always carried, “but you need help and I…I want to help you.”

As you settled down, he joined you, unpacking his books, notepad
and pens. Taking a deep breath, he said, “Well, let’s not make it a wasted
trip, eh?”

You smiled widely and nodded, pointing out where you’d left off
and proceeded to continue with the tutoring.

I came
across a fallen tree

I felt the
branches of it looking at me

Is this
the place we used to love?

Is this
the place that I’ve been dreaming of?

Each session after the first improved, Kuroo feeling he was
finally getting a grasp of the material. You didn’t always need to go to the “secret
forest” as Kuroo called it but whenever he felt especially pent up, he’d ask
to go there. Occasionally you couldn’t join him but gave him directions so he
could find his way there on his own. “Just don’t take any girlfriends there,”
you teased, “it’s a sacred place.”

He’d laughed. “Tch, like I have time for a girlfriend.”

He didn’t notice the look of sadness in your eyes.

Eventually, it was time for Kuroo’s make up exam and he nailed it
with a B+. He was so happy he ran to find you in the quad, throwing his arms
around your waist and spinning you around thanking you for your help. But as he
set you down, the realization that his success meant the end of his need for
tutoring with you caused an unexpected bolt of disappointment to hit him. He
liked spending time with you…a lot. You weren’t just a tutor, you’d become a
friend to him and if he were honest, something much more than that. With a
nervous flutter in his heart he said, “Come out and celebrate with me.” You
accepted, a dusting of pink on your cheeks giving him hope that maybe his new-found
affections weren’t one sided.

The first date, unofficially as it may have been, went well. You
were already used to each other, had already spent so much time getting to know
one another that it felt natural to be out just the two of you. For all intents
and purposes, the time should have felt like any other when you were together
but somehow both of you knew this was a big deal, that something was shifting
in the tone of your relationship. It was an interesting position for you both,
the idea of something more both enticing and frightening because if it didn’t
work you ran the risk of ruining a good thing.

However, when Kuroo took you home that evening, he felt a tremor
of nerves hit him as he looked in your eyes and neither of you could deny any
more that you felt more for each other than friendly affection. Taking a leap
of faith, Kuroo asked with all the confidence he could muster, “______-san,
would you…would you like to go out with me again some time?”

You nodded enthusiastically making him chuckle. Kuroo found he
really wanted to kiss you goodnight but refrained, both from timing and his
heart pounding so hard in his chest he was sure you could hear it. So he
settled for squeezing your hand, backing away with a genial wave before turning
around and walking in the direction of home.

Oh, simple
thing, where have you gone?

I’m
getting old and I need something to rely on

So tell me
when you’re gonna let me in

I’m
getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

That date turned into another, which turned into another until
Kuroo was counting down the days until he could see you outside the confines of
school. But the times were getting spread out more and more the larger his
responsibility to the team grew. It came to a head one week, when he was so
busy he’d barely had time to talk to you let along go out. As much as he wanted
to go to Nationals, he found himself longing for just one day off to rest, one
day to catch his breath, one day to spend with you completely alone. He knew,
however, that was a pipedream for the time being.

Hiding his trepidation as much as he could, he took your hand
after school one day and said, “______-chan,” the use of your first name
startling you, “I…I know I haven’t had much time to spend with you, so asking
this now may seem odd. But, would you…would you be my girlfriend? Even if we
can’t be together all the time, I’d like to know that wherever you are…you’re
mine.”

He could see the shock in your eyes at his confession but the next
moment you’d flung your arms around his neck in a fierce embrace and gleefully
accepted his confession. Kuroo had never felt so lighthearted in his life.
This…this is what he was missing, someone to call his own.

And if you
have a minute, why don’t we go

Talk about
it somewhere only we know?

This could
be the end of everything

So why
don’t we go

Somewhere
only we know?

It should have come as no surprise to him that you would prove to
be a near perfect girlfriend. You never complained about his schedule,
explaining that you too were constantly busy and had been feeling bad about not
being able to commit more time to him as well. When you were able, you came to
see him at practice, catching snippets of his time during water breaks to chat
hurriedly about each other’s days. The team, of course, teased their captain
about his new lady friend, but he didn’t care; you were his and that’s all that
matter to him. As often as possible, you came to his games, cheering loudly for
him and the rest of the cats to do their best.

One night during dinner, Kuroo’s mom asked how you were and he
smiled brightly, telling about your success in one of the essay writing
contents you’d entered and the fact that you’d brought him a homemade bento to
practice the previous night. As she listened to him talk, Kuroo’s mom could see
intense adoration, maybe even love, burning in his eyes. With a gentle hand and
even gentler voice, she urged him to be careful with his heart.

“She’s great mom, she’s not going to break my heart,” he insisted
but she persisted.

“Tetsurou, I know with the responsibility you both bear you feel
like you’re already adults, but remember; you’re both still so young. A lot can
happen between now and graduation.”

But he wouldn’t listen, couldn’t believe that someone so perfect
for him would be the cause of pain. Sure, you had your arguments and
disagreements, what couple didn’t? But at the end of the day you were still the
only one he wanted to talk to, needed
to talk to at least once to feel like it was complete. So he kept on going,
falling deeper and deeper for you until the only word left to describe it was
love.

He should have known to listen to the wisdom of his mother.

Prior to his final exams, Kuroo had been approached by a prestigious
college in Tokyo offering him a full ride volleyball scholarship. He was beyond
the moon with happiness because it meant he could stay at home, play the game
he loved and still see you as you finished out your third year.

He sprinted to your house, lost for breath as he rapidly told you
what had happened.

You listened silently, gripping his hands tightly with your eyes
shining with excitement on his behalf. But when he mentioned hopes to be able
to see you more often due to a less strenuous schedule he saw your face fall.

“What? What is it?” he asked, concern lacing his voice.

You shuffled your feet, eyes landing on the ground. A gentle tug
against your chin brought your face back up and Kuroo was startled to see you
holding back tears. “Babe, what’s going on?”

Sniffling you replied, “Um, about my third year, I made it into
the foreign exchange program.”

Kuroo felt like he’d been punched in the gut. He of course knew
about the program, it was something you’d talked about before the two of you had
gotten together. At the time, he’d been a bit sad at the prospect of you
leaving but that was before he’d fallen in love with you. And truthfully, he’d
assumed when you’d gotten together you would have forgone applying. He’d
feigned encouragement at the time you had, ashamed but unable to deny he’d
hoped perhaps you wouldn’t make it in, that the slots would fill, that
something would step in to stop you from going.

But no, the fates were cruel and you were leaving while he would
be here, alone without you. He shook his head, trying to shake himself into
sensible thinking. You’d done nothing wrong, you were following your dream just
as much as he would have done so were the tables turned. That didn’t stop the
sting he felt, the heavy weight of disappointment weighing down his heart.

“Kuroo-kun, say something,” your soft voice pleaded.

He blinked, roused back to the present and looked at your
intertwined hands. Giving them a squeeze, he pulled you in close, tucking you
easily beneath his chin and holding you tightly. “Congratulations,” he
whispered and felt your arms close around his waist in a vice like grip. You
held each other in silence, you soaking his shirt with your tears and his
sliding down his cheeks. This wasn’t going to be easy but he knew he couldn’t
let you go, at least not permanently.

Oh, simple
thing, where have you gone?

I’m
getting old and I need something to rely on

So tell me
when you’re gonna let me in

I’m
getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

From that day on, you and Kuroo spent as much time together as you
could. He would even go so far as to sneak out of his house, shimmy up the tree
outside your bedroom window and crawl in to sleep with you through the night,
always making sure to leave an hour before his mom’s alarm was set to go off.
In all the times he stayed with you, he never once tried to go further than
just sleeping but as the time for your departure drew closer, the temptation
grew stronger.

The days after Kuroo’s graduation were great because he had more
time to spend with you. Bitter sweet as leaving his high school team had been,
he knew he had a lot more work ahead of him with the new team so he focused all
of his attention on you as much as possible.

The night before you were scheduled to depart found you tangled up
in Kuroo’s embrace, limbs intertwined as he kissed you with passion. His hands
wandered shakily under your shirt, the feel of his palms scorching your skin as
he touched you.

A breathy, “Kuroo, wait,” fell from your lips as his trailed down
the side of your neck in sloppy, open mouth kisses. You pushed on his shoulder,
making him lean up to look down at you, eyes hooded and breath panting. “We…we
shouldn’t do this, not now.”

“Please,” he begged, nuzzling your nose and squeezing his eyes
shut, “I just…I need you so bad. Don’t you want this with me?” He opened his
eyes, cupping your face as he confessed, “I love you, _______.”

“Kuroo, I…I love you too, but…I don’t want our first time to feel
like…like we’re doing it to say goodbye,” you sniffled.

He clenched his teeth, fighting back a wealth of frustration at
this whole situation. His blood felt like it was on fire, his adoration for you
burning him from the inside out and for the first time in a long while he felt
a red, hot anger accompanying it.

When he didn’t speak you went on, gently touching his cheek with
the backs of your fingers. “Just…hold me tonight. I told my mom I was staying
here because I won’t see you for a year. When I get back…that’s when we can.”

Sighing, he laid back down, face buried in the crook of your neck.
“You won’t forget me, right?” he mumbled against your skin and you couldn’t
help the smile on your face.

“Of course not, you dork,” you admonished playfully slapping his
back. “I love you too much.”

To say time became a paradox for the both of you would feel like
an understatement. Somehow, your days apart went both quickly and terribly
slow. Kuroo finally figured it out one night, six months into your parting. The
days were fast because they were full of the busyness of life; volleyball
practice, classes, games, visiting friends when he had time, studying. But it
was the night, the quiet times miraculously not filled with obligations, where
he felt your absence the strongest. He could only speculate that the difference
between now and how things were in high school for the two of you was the fact
that he had no ability to see you in person. He couldn’t hug you, kiss you,
ruffle your hair, tickle you, fall asleep next to you.

Your relationship became centered around Skype calls and text
messaging and Kuroo could only be thankful he’d not been born in a time where
snail mail was the only option and even then, there was no guarantee a letter
would reach one’s loved ones.

He found it ironic that he longed for high school again, that it
felt simpler then because at least you were here.

Oh, simple
thing, where have you gone?

I’m
getting old and I need something to rely on

So tell me
when you’re gonna let me in

I’m
getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

Late one night, when Kuroo couldn’t sleep, he found himself wandering
the city in a mindless haze. His brain was going what felt like one hundred
miles per hour. Sighing, he decided to make the trek to the secret forest,
hoping the walk and being in a place that reminded him so much of you would
help calm him, even if it did sting to be there without you. It took him about
an hour to reach it but he climbed the ladder, sat down and stared out the
window at the stars.

He thought he heard movement from below but equated it to random
wildlife that had taken over the area. However, when he heard the creak of wood
and squeak of the ropes he flew to the hatch opening and looked down. From
below, he watched as a figure made their way up the ladder. Frowning, Kuroo
turned on his flashlight, shining the beam down and asked roughly, “Who’s
there?”

When your face came into view his heart almost stopped. What were
you doing here? A large smile split your face, your pace increasing to reach
him faster. As you neared the opening, Kuroo leaned down, grabbing your
forearms and hoisting you the remaining two feet easily. He collapsed backwards
pulling you on top of him, hands flying to cup your face.

I came
across a fallen tree

I felt the
branches of it looking at me

Is this
the place we used to love?

Is this
the place that I’ve been dreaming of?

“Wha…you…why…” he couldn’t get his brain to form a question due to
his shock of you being here so randomly.

“I came back tonight, my program ended early and I wanted to
surprise you,” you replied.

He didn’t answer, just pulled you roughly down to crash your lips
against his, tangling his fingers in your hair. An appreciative sigh exited
your nose, ghosting over his face warming him. He rotated, slamming the hatch
down to fully cut off the world but never broke the kiss. Hands wandered under
your shirt, cold fingers making you hiss but you wanted him touching you.

Kuroo released you to gather a breath but kept his face close,
unwilling to spare any distance if possible. Eyes shining with unshed tears you
looked up at him with such a look of pure love and longing it made his heart
dance. “Kuroo, I want to be with you,” you said and he groaned low in his
throat. Sitting up, he leaned against the wall tugging you into his lap,
quickly shedding you of your shirt. The night air made you shiver but the feel
of his heated skin when his own shirt was pulled away felt like heaven.

He kissed your neck with soft, teasing lips, savoring the taste of
you, relishing in the feel of you against him. “You really want to do this
here?” he asked breathless when your own mouth descended to his throat.

“I can’t wait to go back home, please Kuroo,” you panted.

He nodded a few times, lifting you up so he could stand and remove
his pants. Thankfully in the days of your coming here together, he’d been smart
enough to leave a plastic tub with a blanket and pillow for the times either of
you needed to stretch out comfortable, usually right next to each other.
Quickly he set them out and when he turned to find you completely naked he felt
himself firm up completely.

Moonlight struck your skin illuminating it to an almost ethereal
glow. He tore off his boxers, laying down on the ground to protect your body
from its firmness with his own. With arms outstretched, he beckoned you to lay
atop him which you did without hesitation.

His hands were everywhere, touching, caressing, molding your
flesh. He couldn’t get enough of your lips despite his desire to kiss you all
over your body. This wasn’t how he’d imagined your first time being, having
always believed you be in a warm comfortable bed with more solid walls and no
draft. That he could take his time worshiping your body. But at the same time,
it felt right to do this here, where the beginning of your relationship really
took place.

So he kissed you and touched you, receiving your returned
attentions with guttural grunts and low sighs. He prepared you as best he could
given the conditions, but you assured him you didn’t care, all you wanted was
to finally be with him, to be united in body as you were in heart and soul.

When he entered the depths of your being, you cried out in
momentary pain but his surprisingly skillful hands turned the tide towards
pleasure fairly quickly. The movements were awkward and slightly painful but
the joy of finally being together in every sense of the word overrode your
discomfiture.

And when you finally reached your peak, shrieking into the dead of
the night Kuroo lost himself and came too, spilling deep in your body.

“I…I’m sorry,” he panted, “I just…couldn’t…hold back.”

You leaned down, kissing him softly and assured him he did everything
you wanted and more. “I’m on the pill, it’s ok,” you advised and he felt
tension leave his body.

Snuggling you close to his chest, he kissed the top of your head. He knew you
couldn’t stay there, the cold of the night bound to make you both sick if
you did, but he remained still just a little bit longer, savoring the feel of
you being in his arms and the comfort of knowing he’d never have to let you go
again.

Kuroo – At the Café

Running in from the torrential downpour that erupted, Kuroo
shakes the water from his head and shirks his now soaked Nekoma team jacket.

“I thought the forecast called for sunshine today,” he grumbles, wringing the drenched garment over
the nearest potted plant. Shaking it out, he places the cold material over his
forearm as he readjusts the bag hanging on his shoulder. Looking around he
smiles. He’s never been to a place like this before but he’s heard Kenma talk
about them. Thanks to the sudden storm he’s found himself stranded in a book
café. Usually lacking any spare time to read for pleasure, he’s never had
reason to seek one out but it will do as a haven in this tempest.

Turning his head, he notices a chalkboard with the “perfect
pairings” of the day. Looking closer he sees these are recommendations of books
to read and which drinks to enjoy while you do.

How clever,” he
thinks reading over the list:

A Study in Scarlet –
Lapsan Souchong Tea

Sense and Sensibility
– Earl Grey Tea

Harry Potter and the
Sorcerer’s Stone – Butter Beer Soda

The Hobbit – Hot Rum
Coffee

Chuckling to himself, Kuroo makes his way further into the
café, eyes trailing around to take in the décor. The walls are, unsurprisingly,
lined with shelves of books stretching all the way to the ceiling of the rather
tall building with ladders that have signs saying, “PLEASE ASK FOR ASSISTANCE.”

In the center of the room are various chairs, couches,
chaises and stools all exceptionally comfortable looking. In the very back,
around another shelf of books, lies an almost hidden alcove are four pods nestled
within the shelves where one can stretch out if they so desire. Finding them
empty, Kuroo takes advantage of his luck, slinging down his bag and crawling
into one of the spaces.

He’s surprised to find he fits and commends the
establishment for considering their taller patrons. Placing his hands behind
his head he’s just about to close his eyes when a giggle carries down the rows
of make believe causing his eyelids to fly open and himself to catapult out of
the comfy nook. Neglecting his bag, he rounds the corner to find the source of
the noise.

In little time, he comes across the drink and snack
dispensary and it’s there he finds what, or rather who, he’s looking for. He’d
know that giggle anywhere, no matter how many years it’s been since he last
heard it. His eyes widened when they land on your profile. You’re talking to a
customer, a regular from the looks of it, your eyes shining and grin confident.
You always were so sure of yourself, it was one of the things which attracted
Kuroo to you in the first place even at a young age.

He can’t help but stare at you because the last time he saw
you, when you both were twelve years old, he thought you were the cutest girl
in the world. Now…now you’re the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. Your hair
is perfectly styled but at the same time has a natural look to it and his hand
itches to run his fingers through it. Your smile is bright and wide, one of his
most favorite features you possess. He’d always try to come up with ways to
make you smile, whether it was at his expense or the expense of others. He’d
loved making you blush, learning to craft his art of provocation based on your
reactions. He’d be lying if he didn’t admit he’s tried a time or two to make
other girls react the way you did when you were together, but it never is quite
the same.

And now, after 6 years, he can finally talk to you again.
That is, if he can get his legs to move or his mouth to work. He wasn’t
expecting this reaction to seeing you again. It’s like you’re the same person
and someone completely different at the same time. His teenage hormones aren’t
helping the situation either but that’s neither here nor there; there’s no way he’s leaving without at least
talking to you and hopefully getting your number.

He realizes he’s never fully let go of the crush he had on
you and just seeing you again has brought those feelings all the way to the
surface frighteningly quick. Despite his nervousness, he finally gets his feet
to work, striding to the counter now that the other customer has left.

Your back is to him as you arrange their order and when you
turn back around he’s smirking in the teasing manner he’s known for.

Your eyes grow exceptionally wide as you inhale a breath of
surprise. Then, before he knows what’s happening, you’ve launched yourself over
the counter, throwing your arms around his neck. His body moves on autopilot,
arms wrapping around your waist as you say rather loudly, “Oh my god, Tetsukuroo!”
The old nickname makes his heart warm further and he squeezes you tightly.

“Hey ______-chan, fancy meeting you here,” he says
chuckling.

When you finally pull back you’re blushing like mad, mostly
due to the snickers coming from behind by your co-worker. Extracting yourself
from Tetsuro, you smooth out your apron and shirt trying to calm your heart.
It’s been ages since you last saw him. You don’t quite know how you lost touch
when you moved but all the years seem to melt away when you look in his eyes.
Time has done him well. You always thought he was cute but now…damn!

“So, how long have you been back?” he asks, hands in his
pockets.

“Um, not very long, just under a month,” you reply tucking a
strand of hair behind your ear.

Just as he’s about to ask another question a throat clearing
catches both of your attention. Turning around you see your manager looking
pointedly at you and then the cash register. Squeaking out an apology, you grab
a napkin and hastily scrawl your phone number.

“Call or text me later, I’m off at 4:00,” you say hurriedly
and then dash back behind the counter.

Clutching the napkin like a life line, Kuroo makes his way
back to his stuff. The nook is still open so he lays back down. He’s thrilled
to have run into you again and even more happy at how happy you looked to see him.
Having you in his arms wasn’t bad either. Glancing at your number he puts it in
his phone but he has no plans of calling you. He’s going to wait here until
you’re done with your shift.

Pulling a random book from the shelf next to his head he
begins reading, finding the story surprisingly interesting. Before long two
hours has gone by and it’s time for you to get off. Gathering his stuff Kuroo
waits around the corner from where you have to walk to exit the food and drink
area. As you pass him he slinks up behind you and says, “Boo.”

You squeal turning around rapidly and almost dropping the
load of books in your arms. Helping to steady you, Kuroo laughs. “Still such a
scaredy cat,” he teases making you blush.

“And still such the schemer I see,” you retort with mock
irritation.

He grins and ruffles your hair. Again it’s like no time at
all has gone by and nothing’s changed save for the thundering in your heart
when you look at him.

Kuroo, unbeknownst to you, is having similar thoughts and
feelings. What he believed to be a childhood crush is rapidly growing into a
firm attraction for you.

Get a grip Kuroo,”
he thinks as he walks with you to the exit, “You literally just found each other again. Don’t scare her off by
coming on too strong.”

“You didn’t have to wait for me you know,” you say as you
put the stack of books onto a cart that says RETURNS on it.

“Who said anything about waiting for you? I got wrapped up
in a book,” he quips smirking at you. It’s not entirely a lie, he really did
get sucked into the story he was reading but he can’t pass up an opportunity to
tease you.

You roll your eyes, shifting the bag on your shoulder.
Looking outside you can see it’s still raining cats and dogs out there and the
thought of rushing to the train stop in this downpour is less than inviting.
Looking back at Kuroo you say, “Well, since you’re here anyway we may as well
catch up. At least until the rain stops.”

“Sounds good, how about over there?” He points to a couch
near a hearth where a pleasant fire is burning. Nodding you follow him over,
the two of you placing your bags down before taking a seat facing one another.

Over the next two hours you talk about everything. What
you’ve been up to in your new home before coming back, how he’s the captain of
the volleyball team and all the preparations and practice the team is doing to
make it to Nationals. You talk school, friends, family, anything and
everything.

Eventually both of your stomachs rumble louder than the
thunder crashing outside.

Looking sheepish Kuroo asks, “I don’t suppose that little
place in the back does dinner?”

You laugh shaking your head. “No, just drinks, pastries and
simple snacks. I’m afraid if we want actual food we’re going to have to brave
the storm.”

Gathering your stuff, you make your way together to the
front door. Neither of you have an umbrella so you’ll have to make a run for
it. Dashing out the door you’re both soaked within seconds but are laughing as
you scamper towards the train station. Looking at Kuroo with his wide silly
grin makes you fall for him even harder. How can you feel so deeply for him
after only a couple of hours?

When you finally reach the station and look at each other
you burst out laughing at the same time. Kuroo’s hair is completely plastered
against his head and face and you doubt you look much better. The train hasn’t
arrived yet and as you wait you shiver. It’s quite cold in addition to being
wet. Suddenly you feel strong arms around you and turn into them, wrapping your
arms around Kuroo’s waist.

As your head settles on his chest you listen to his heart.
It’s beating fast and you can’t help but wonder if that’s due to the run or
because he’s holding you.

When you look up you find him already looking down at you.
Your eyes meet and a thousand words pass without a sound. You tilt your head
up, your face inching closer to his.

“_____-chan,” he says lowly, his warm breath caressing your
face. All you do is nod and he closes the distance, kissing you softly at
first. Then, as if setting a match to a tinder box, his arms move from your
shoulders to your waist tugging you against his firm torso. His lips are
insistent, hungrily massaging your own until you yield, allowing his tongue to
graze yours. Instant heat floods your belly moving outward to your limbs. This
is now your most favorite way of warming up.

For need of oxygen, you pull away inhaling deeply before
opening your eyes. Kuroo’s own are wide and dilated, his cheeks a rosy red and
his mouth curling up into his signature grin.

“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you like me
_____-chan,” he says nuzzling your nose.

You giggle giving him another peck. “You always could read
me like an open book, Tetsukuroo.”

He groans. “Argh, you and your puns!”

Then his eyes turn a little serious, his hand cupping your
cheek. “But that won’t stop me from liking you. I mean, really, really, really liking you.” He pauses, taking in
a deep breath before asking, “Be my girlfriend?”

You nod and he kisses you again, the perfect end to your
fairytale day and the perfect beginning of a grand new adventure.

It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to request anything from a writing blog ;) I saw in your rules that you accept AUs, so I was wondering if I could possibly get a reader/Kuroo zombie apocalypse AU scenario? Maybe something along the lines of them being in the school when the outbreak hits and now they need to find their way out to survive.

Ok, I have no idea if this is what you were hoping for
because it’s kind of open ended but nevertheless I hope you enjoy! WARNING
mention of deaths for beloved characters (briefly but still fair warning). Nothing
overtly graphic.

The incessant banging on the gym door should have been a
clue that all is not right. Casting a glance at Kuroo, the tall bed head
captain being the last to leave with you after practice, you stride to the door
and open it. Standing before you is Yamamoto, his head hung, grasping the
side of the building.

“Yamamoto-san?” you ask reaching forward to touch him but
when he whips his head up you scream.

The sound of your terror draws Kuroo’s attention back to
you, his eyes widening as he watches you back away from the second-year ace. He
can see, even from this distance, something is terribly wrong. Yamamoto is
grunting, his voice a dry heave of sound and his neck…his neck has a huge gash
in it, blood trailing down.

As he reaches for you, Kuroo acts on instinct, tossing up a
ball and spiking it perfectly into his head making him fall over temporarily.

The impact makes you scream again but it does its job of
snapping you out of the horror haze his dead eyes held you in though you’re
still just standing there. In front of you, Kuroo can see more students, along
with some faculty, walking towards your location. It’s like all his wildest
nightmares coming true and he’s in fight or flight mode.

Surging forward, he shoves Yamamoto, or at least what used to be him, back into the courtyard,
slamming the door and bolting it. The pounding on the door echoes through the
large empty room and you cover your ears, crouching down to drown out the
sound, murmuring, “No, no, no…this isn’t real…wake up…wake up…wake up!” You’re
screaming the words now, overrun with panic but it all comes to a grinding halt
when you feel a sharp sting against your cheek.

Turning your face back to Kuroo, you can see he’s still got
his hand cross his body from slapping you. He drops to his knees, grabbing your
face between his hands and kisses your forehead swiftly. “I’m sorry, but you
can’t panic right now, we need to get to safety,” he says. Quickly, he stands
again, grabbing your hand and yanking you towards the door that leads to the
storage room where a ladder to the roof access point resides.

Grabbing his phone, Kuroo selects Kenma’s number.

“Kenma, where are you?”

“On the train, why?” asks the setter.

Briefly Kuroo recounts what happens and the noises he can
still hear outside as he shimmies up the ladder, pushing with all his might to
open the locked door. Casting a glance at you, he moves the phone away from his
ear to ask, “Do you have the key?”

“The key to what?” he hears Kenma ask as you shake your head
and he goes back to the conversation.

“Not you, y/n and I are trying to get to the roof. Don’t get
off the train, tell the engineer not to stop and just get the fuck out of here.
Something bad is going down and it’s only going to get worse.”

“Stop joking around Kuroo,” Kenma dead pans but winces when
Kuroo shouts in the phone.

“Do I sound like I’m fucking joking?”

“Well, yeah, because you usually do,” he replies.

“Here, talk to y/n while I try to get this damn door open,
maybe she can convince you.”

You take the phone, your shaky voice affirming everything
Kuroo just said to Kenma. But as you’re talking you hear the train call its
next stop, the doors opening and loud screams coming from all around Kenma.

“What the hel-“you hear then he shouts, his voice louder
than you’ve ever heard it.

“Kenma? Kenma?” you yell but it’s no use, in his haste to
get away from whatever is happening he must have dropped his phone because all
you can hear is a cacophony of noise consisting of shrieks of terror, a low
rumbling and curses from people as they are attacked.

You feel your stomach lurch when Kenma’s voice comes through
the fray, screaming out that he’s sorry and that he loves you both. The line
goes dead and you throw up into the mop pail. From above you hear Kuroo
breathing hard, both in exertion and emotion, knowing that you were an auditory
witness to his best friend’s death.

Finally, the door snaps open, a cool rush of night air
descending. Reaching down, Kuroo hauls you up the ladder, pulling you onto the
roof with him.

All around you can see others who have done the same, barricading
themselves on the roofs until some sort of help arrives; presuming any can. Kuroo
pulls the ladder up, dropping it to the ground and slams the door shut. With a
moment to breathe, to think, he collapses to his knees, screaming out in agony
at the loss of his friends and most likely his family. He’s seen the movies,
knows the odds and they aren’t good.

Kneeling beside him, you touch his back, startled when he
draws you into a fierce hug, face buried in your neck as you both cry. How can
any of this be real? Sniffling, Kuroo looks up, wiping his face on his shirt, a
new grim determination setting in his eyes.

“We’re going to survive, y/n,” he says lowly, hand cupping
your face. Overcome with emotion, he kisses you, whispering against your lips, “I
hate that it takes this for me to tell you I love you. How fucking cliche is that?
But it’s true and I’m not gonna let us die.”

You believe him, despite the sounds of screams surrounding
you, despite the very likelihood that you’re going to die on this roof top if
you can’t get food or water; you believe him. Because you have to believe in
something and the scheming captain is your best bet.

Clutching his shirt, you look in his eyes. “I know you won’t
and…I love you too.”

The distant sound of helicopters draws both your attention to
the sky and a flicker of hope arises in your heart; for now, you can get away
from here and everything else…you’ll just have to wait and see.
