Kuroko – Snuggle Honey

ASKS:

“You come to my room and wake me up at 4am, to cuddle?” With Kuroko!

How about Kuroko, “You’re lucky you’re cute”

I felt these two worked well together.

You know this is a bad idea. Kuroko has been exhausted – you both have – trying to adjust to your first year as university students. But you can’t help it, you miss him too much and tomorrow is going to be another long, responsibility filled day that you just don’t think you can face without some time with him. Even if you’re both unconscious.

The hinges squeak and you wince but you’ve come too far to stop now. Gingerly you step further into his room, each sound feeling like it’s intensified ten times in the near silence. Finally you reach your goal and gently pull the covers back to make way next to your somehow still slumbering boyfriend.

It isn’t easy but you manage to get all the way horizontal, spooning your back to his front. Just when you think you’re home free you hear his sleepy voice say, “You come to my room and wake me up at 4:00 AM to cuddle?”

“I just…I’m sorry. I couldn’t sleep and I missed you and-”

His arm snakes around your waist, drawing you completely flush to himself. Through a yawn he says, “You’re lucky you’re cute, ____-chan.” Then he’s back to sleep, but with a smile on his face.

Kiyoshi Teppei – Good Enough

Sentence Prompt Request: Kiyoshi with “Am I not good enough?” With the reader asking that. You can end it however. It can be angsty or fluffy at the end. Thank you!

“I just,” he looked away, seeming to gather strength which looked odd on someone so big. He forced his eyes to yours. “I just need to go back.”

The words hit you like a freight train. Your heart hurt, ached with pain comparable to being stabbed and no less deadly.

He was better. So much so, apparently, that he felt called back to the court. To his team. To Japan.

Away from you.

“Am I-,” your voiced cracked under the strain of your hurt. You swallowed, blinking back tears. “Am I not good enough?”

Kiyoshi’s eyes welled with his own tears. He shook his head, loosening them to roll down his cheeks. “It’s not that, but-”

“Bullshit, Kiyoshi!” you spat, anger suddenly flooding your chest. He recoiled at your hostility, widened eyes releasing more tears. “If I was enough for you, you wouldn’t need them! Or is it…her?” You’d heard so much about Seirin, so much about Riko, that you couldn’t help the accusation falling from parted lips panting for breath as the weight of grief settled against your chest.

Kiyoshi faltered, hands outstretched seemingly to draw you close but you took a step back, fumbling for the door knob but you weren’t quick enough and his hands settled on your shoulders. But what you once fondly thought of as anchors – as security – felt like vices squeezing pain deep into your bones.

“________, please, look at me. I don’t want to leave with things like this, I don’t want..I’m not ending anything, I just need to be there.”

You looked up at him, pain burning in your eyes. “It won’t work.”

“Why? Why can’t we try?” he asked, voice low, trying for persuasion.

You shook your head, turned the knob and opened the door to step out of his embrace and into the cold, empty hall. “Because I know me. Plus, if I wasn’t good enough for you to stay, I won’t be good enough for you when you’re gone.”

Before he could protest further you turned and ran, tears finally flowing free.
