Since we’re close to spooky day 😁😁how about what type of outfits some of the main boys from KNB would wear with their s/o?? If someone already requested this then the Haikyuu boys

Thank you for the ask! I hope you enjoy!

Kuroko – Regardless of what he wears, he inevitably becomes “the invisible man” thanks to his low presence so he is ok with wearing whatever compliments you and will let you decide. You want to go as werewolves? He’ll put on the mask. You want to be Thing 1 and Thing 2? He’s down to wear a comfy onesie.

Kagami – Just like everything else, this boy is hella competitive and wants to win the costume contest so he will go all out on whatever costume he and you decide to do. I can see him playing to the strength of his height, going as a Titan with you as a member of the military, or he’s Frankenstein and you’re either the professor or bride, depending on your preference.

Midorima– It takes some convincing (and whining from Takao) to get him to agree to dress up. Once he does, he insists on simplicity and something that goes with his lucky item so don’t be surprised if he’s pulling out a doctor/patient cop-out (though he does look unfairly good in scrubs or his white coat). You might be able to convince him to do Phantom of the Opera/Christine since he owns a tux and would only need to get the mask.

Kise – He is ALL about Halloween and will take full advantage of his makeup team to turn you and him into the most authentic looking zombies on the block. He usually has to be all about beauty and poise so being able to cut loose and be gross, covered in fake blood, brains, torn clothes, the works is a dream for him. Just let him do all the planning and sit back to watch the magic happen. Is it cheating? Kagami certainly thinks so but it doesn’t stop Kise from enjoying the day to the fullest. He may even drag you to a zombie event to show off further.

Aomine – Lazy bones here will take even more convincing to dress up. Sure, he wants you to wear something but every suggestion begins with “naughty”. If you’re shy or apprehensive about showing a lot of skin in public but still want to get him to agree to go to a party, suggest superheroes. Skin tight will definitely get his attention. Going as agents of Shield or maybe a Rogue/Gambit pairing will most likely draw him, despite his complaints.

Akashi – Here’s another one who will use his money and the ability to hire people to its full advantage. Full Dia De Los Muertos with costumes that just may be authentic (you wouldn’t put it past him) and makeup artists to paint on the most perfect skull faces for you both. You’ll arrive to whatever party in a fancy hearse.

Murasakibara – Let’s be real, the only reason he’s agreeing to dress up at all is you told him he’d get more candy (bring your own bag just in case). That being said, as long as you don’t make him do any work on planning or making the costume and it’s nothing too complicated or uncomfortable to wear (ie, not a lot of makeup that could get in the way of his candy consumption) he’ll go along with it. Stick him and yourself in black onesies (assuming you can find one that fits him) with bones on it to go as skeletons and call it a night. He’ll wear the mask for the contest but then will be on the couch or in a corner munching his candy.

what would be gom’s reaction if their female best friend (the reader in this case) told them that their s/o was cheating on them? Who would believe the friend and who would believe the s/o? How would they feel if it turned out their best friend was telling the truth?

grandcruchuu:

man i really like kuroko. thank you for the ask bro bro

Kuroko:

“I appreciate your concern, _________-kun, but I’ll need more than just your words to confirm your suspicions.”

He’s too equitable for his own good. No matter how many times you warn him, he won’t listen. He’d approach his significant other and question them about it, but if they deny, he won’t push the issue. You’d have to provide cold, hard evidence for him to budge, and even then, he won’t let the matter rest until his significant other comes clean, whether rude and boastful or quiet and regretful. He’s not naive, just upstanding. His goal is to get them to own up to their faults.

It’s hard to become extremely close friends with Kuroko without having a high level of tolerance for his stubborn nature so, you’d forgive him for not believing you. Besides, it would take him no time to formally apologize, emphasizing that it wasn’t his trust in you that had been in jeopardy. He just simply couldn’t let a relationship with such a high level of intimacy die without giving the person he’d trusted with his heart a chance to prove your accusation wrong. That’s when it would hit him—when it was acknowledged not only mentally, but verbally. And, he would let you hold him until the hollowness in his chest is filled by your warm words and I’m sorrys that weren’t touched by the lips he’d had to share with someone else.

Kise:

“_______-cchi, don’t make jokes like that! Take it back!”

Another sucker. Except Kise is a special case, in my opinion. Okay. Listen. Hear me out. I’ve said this before, and now I’m saying it again. Kise is a Gemini so therefore, Kise is an air sign. Air signs are terrible with commitment and can be pretty manipulative in general. I think Kise The Model would appear to ignore your accusation, but in hindsight be extremely paranoid about his significant other’s possible infidelity. Why? Because he’s been flirting with a few people on the side himself.

If he finds out you’re telling the truth—which he’d go to great lengths to find out—the tears would stream, but then the next day, it would be like the relationship never happened. Only you would know of Kise’s aching heart because he only wears it on his sleeve behind closed doors. You comfort him, but mention that this just might be karma for how fleetingly he loves. He doesn’t respond as you caress his blonde bangs while he rests his head in your lap. You wonder what you’re going to do with him as another text message comes in on his phone.

Akashi:

“You’ve noticed as well, I see.”

He would already have his suspicions when you nervously approach him with the bad news. The red-headed captain would thank you for your honesty, and reassure that he “has it under control from here.” You swallow at the phrasing. Depending on the state of mind he’s in, Akashi’s way of handling things can be injurious—always in the most elegant way somehow.

He’s not the type to sulk for long. Once he’s confirmed his significant other’s cheating ways thru a text thread he’s attained by calling God knows who, he confronts his partner about it. If they come clean, their punishment is a quick break up. If not, Akashi has something in store for them that they will never forget.

I think he’s the type that doesn’t mention anything about them until you bring up the topic over a lunch date months later. You gawk when he tells you their family business suddenly declared bankruptcy and they’ve moved across the country as he takes a quick sip of his mimosa. The glint in his eye confesses more than his words.

Aomine:

“Stop talking out of your ass. It’ll get you in trouble one day.”

He’d be angry. So angry that what starts as a conversation meant to forewarn turns into a full-blown argument. As his best friend, you know it isn’t what you say that pisses him off, but the high possibility of it since you are the one that brings it to him. If it were anyone else, he’d dismiss them immediately, but you’re always spot on with these kinds of things.

I believe that once Aomine gets into a relationship, it’s serious. He isn’t the kind to waste his time dating a person that he’s not expecting something long-term with because “being committed is already exhausting as it is.”

He’d find out the truth in the worst way: he walks in on his significant other kissing someone on the roof of the school during club time. His roof of all fucking places. He’s so close to going apeshit, but you walk in just in time. You practically yank him off the roof as he barks at the couple with a ferocious look that screams murder.

With enough coaxing, he ends up in the empty locker room next to the school gym that his teammates are practicing in. You remain silent until he springs up and exits. You follow moments after and push open the gym doors revealing him shooting threes while the Touou basketball team watches in confusion. You don’t reply to their questions of concern. Only sigh and ask the Coach if Aomine would be able to stay after practice ends. It’s obvious he’d be here a while.

Midorima:

“Okay. Thank you.”

Your heart would break witnessing him swim through a sea of emotions while you stand on land. You are safe from the drowning feeling of heartbreak coming his way. You wouldn’t be sure if he believes you or not. His words would be sparse, but his working thoughts would bounce against the walls of his brain rapidly and never cease until he gets the answer he needs.

When he does, you realize you aren’t as safe as you think you are. Your feet are still in the water. You can feel every emotion hitting him full force as he tells you the worst news: his significant other had confessed their infidelities and broke up with him immediately after. Rage, confusion, sadness, and rage again.

It wouldn’t be him that reacts irrationally, but you. You’d confront his ex and Takao would need to restrain your frame to keep you from inflicting physical pain on them. You want to compensate for the emotional turmoil they’d spat at your best friend. Midorima wouldn’t approve and he’ll tell you rather bluntly. But months later, after he’s returned to the sand, he’d thank you for your “vulgar but appreciated” concern.

Murasakibara:

“__________-chin, that doesn’t make me feel good. Don’t say that.”

He wouldn’t believe you, but he’d be curious. Not suspicious, curious. Murasakibara would ask his significant other, and if they have a good heart, they’ll come clean.

If he’s lied to and discovers it himself in the near future, disaster unveils itself. He’d trash his room. He’d want to pummel the person his partner was cheating with.

You’re the only one that can calm him down. With two heavy snack bags, you knock on his door. Murasakibara wouldn’t acknowledge you as you plop down and offer him a packet of Nerunerunerune candy. He takes it and begins to eat it slowly in silence. You smile when his head eventually rests on your shoulder.

These broke my heart but in the best way possible. As much as it hurts, Midorima’s was my favorite because I feel like you nailed the imagery of what he’d be going through on the head. Also, Kuroko’s was interesting. At first I was not sure I agreed but your reasoning is sound and that would be a very Kuroko thing to do.

It’s not Vday themed but could I have scenarios where Kise, Midorima, Murasakibara and Aomine sticking up for protecting their sisters ( in Aomine’s case Momoi).

imagine-knb:

Not a problem, I might be able to manage to sprinkle in some V-day here and there! These came out more as reactions than scenarios – Admin Jade

Kise

“It was very stupid of you to mess with my sister,” Kise says, voice vibrating with rage. “But it was a death wish to mess with both of them.”

He picks up the two timing jackass, slamming him against the wall. “You may think I’m just a pretty face, but you’re about to find out how dangerous the rest of me is.”

Midorima

“I’ve been told you stole her lucky item,” Midorima says, his sister hiding behind his massive frame as he towers over the offending male. “Return it at once, or you’ll be the unlucky one.”

Murasakibara

“I told her making chocolates for you would be a waste of time,” Mursakibara grunts, eyes narrowed.

He leans closer, shadow swallowing the smaller frame of the boy who dared to accept a Valentine’s confession from the purple hair’s sister with no intention of reciprocation on White Day. “Now she’s crying and says she won’t ever make chocolates again,” he whines. The slamming of his fist against the locker makes the other flinch. “And it’s all your fault. I’m going to crush you for crushing her heart.”

Aomine

“Tetsuya,” Aomine drawls, leaning against the wall with crossed arms and narrowed eyes, “do you really not feel the same way for Satsuki as she does for you?”

His former shadow frowns then after a moment, shakes his head.

“Why the hell not?”

The question catches Kuroko off guard, as does the sudden increase in volume to Aomine’s tone. Swallowing unexpected nerves, he replies, “I just…she’s my friend. Nothing more.”

Aomine sighs, running one hand over his face. “Then figure out a way to make that crystal clear to her so she stops making a damn fool of herself.” Then his scowls returns. “She deserves better than that and you know it.”

BLIND DATE ~☆ please

The first thing you notice when you get out of the car is, it’s dark. The second is, it’s cold, your breath showing out in puffs of steam.

But your guide, a driver from a car service, walks out into the field with purpose. Sighing and tugging your jacket closer to your body, you follow, wondering who in their right mind would set up a blind date in the middle of nowhere.

As you get closer to your apparent end destination, the reason for the randomness becomes clear in the form of one person: Kise Ryota.

“______-cchi!” he exclaims, “I’m so glad you made it on time!”

“And what, pray tell, am I on time for?” you ask with a shiver.

He chuckles, eyes somehow still gleaming despite the lack of light. “You’ll see, come on,” he insists tugging your hand.

When you descend the next hill your eyes widen. There, in the middle of an open plane of grass, is the biggest balloon you’ve ever seen.

“We’re taking to the skies today!” Kise says heartily.

Within a few minutes, you’re both in the basket, your guide expertly flashing the flames that take you higher and higher into the air. Kise pours you a cup of hot chocolate, tapping his against it in a light toast.

You smile at him and just as you open your mouth to speak, a soft glow begins to spread over his face. Swiftly you turn, gasping at the beauty of the sky as the sun rises in the east.

“That is what we’re on time for,” Kise says in your ear then pecks your cheek. “Happy Valentine’s day.”

HI! Just so you know you’re amazing! Can I please request Single Dad! GOM doing something with their S/O? Maybe the S/O gets a chance to really step up as a parent figure to the child of their respective GOM?

imagining-with-knb:

just so you know, anon, YOU’RE A BILLION TIMES MORE AMAZING THANK YOU.

btw i know some of these scenarios aren’t the most “parent-like” but i just felt like little things that show comfort between an adult and a child who sees them as a guardian are the real dealbreakers for a s/o trying to build a relationship with their partner’s child(ren).

This is so long, I’m sorry. D:

Kuroko: As a date, the two of you, and Kuroko’s daughter, were eating out at a fast food restaurant. It wasn’t anything special, but it was relaxed, and that was the best part.

You’d come to realize that Kuroko’s obsession with vanilla milkshakes had been passed down through the beauty of genetics. So had the round, blue eyes (though her’s held more feeling). So it was slightly funny, watching Kuroko and his daughter stare forward with the same, blank expression, sipping on milkshakes.

“Ayumi-chan, here, make sure you eat your burger as well. You too, Tetsuya.” You pushed their burgers forward, and they both sighed at them. You raised a brow. “If you don’t eat, you won’t have enough energy for the park, later.”

Surveying the burger with a look of mild distaste, Ayumi tugged on her father’s shirt sleeve, asking him to lean down so that she could whisper in his ear. He nodded understandingly once she was done, and straightened to face you with a business-like expression. Ayumi mimicked her father.

“Ayumi-chan and I have a proposal.” Kuroko announced.

You folded your hands together and rested your chin on them, leaning forward with a grin. “Ah, and what would that be.”

“If we eat the burgers, you need to buy us each another vanilla shake.”

Ayumi nodded earnestly.

You bit your lip, pretending to think hard about the offer. In the end, you motioned for Ayumi to come to your side of the table. She did as she was told, taking a few seconds to slide off the bench, then climb onto yours. You bent down to whisper in her ear.

“If Ayumi-chan finishes her burger, I’ll take you on a boat ride tomorrow, and make ‘Tou-san fight you in basketball.” You then pulled back to gauge her reaction.

She thought about it for a bit, then copied your previous pose: hands folded, chin resting on them, leaning forward with a pleasantly amused expression. “’Tou-san needs to finish his burger right now. Please give me mine as well. Hurry, ‘Tou-san, we need to do it fast.”

Kuroko tried to look as grumpy as possible. Normal people would call his look one of mild unhappiness. “You’re a traitor, Ayumi-chan.”

“Life isn’t fair.” She shrugged, and took a bite of her burger. Both you and Kuroko had to turn the other way in order to muffle your laughs at what she had just said.

Kise: Ever since Kise’s son had been able to walk, he’d acted as his father’s manager. Maybe it was innate, but Sora could sense that Kise was always flitting around from one thing to the next, and needed all the help he could get.

When you came into the picture, Sora was about four years old, and was intensely distrustful of you, as any good manager would be, initially. And while it was two years later now, and Sora was at the healthy age of six, he still showed signs of distance.

Today, Kise had invited you over to hang out. The three of you sat on the couch, watching animated movies of Sora’s choice, with Sora sat between you two.

“Hey, Soracchi, can I use you as a pillow?” Kise asked, smiling charmingly at his son.

Sora fixed him with a deadpan look. “You’re too heavy for me, Otou-san. ____-san, please pass me a pillow.”

You did as you were told, smiling teasingly at Kise. Kise pouted at Sora for a few seconds until he gave in and finally snuggled him a bit before he put his head against the armrest and took a nap. Then it was just the two of you, watching a small sheep going on an adventure.

Once the movie was done, you saw a sleepy Sora barely being able to keep his head up. “Do you want to lie down?” You asked him, and he shook his head vehemently, glancing protectively at his father. Ah.

You crouched down so that you were eye-to-eye with him. “Sora-kun, you know I’d never do anything to hurt your Otou-san, right?”

He sniffed, as if a little insulted. “Of course. I wouldn’t have let you stay around here if you were dangerous.”

You bit back a laugh, and kept a serious face on. “I want to help him as much as you do. And, I want to help Sora-kun as well, because I know you want more cuddles, even if you don’t want to bother Otou-san, right?”

Narrowing his eyes at you, he crossed his arms. “I don’t need cuddles.”

“Ah, I said want, not need. Sora-kun is such a good boy, he’s really mature.” You took his hand and squeezed it lovingly. “But if you let me, I could help make more time so that you could hang out with Otou-san. Would you like that?”

After a few moments of consideration, he nodded hesitantly.

“Okay, then it’s a deal. I’ll take care of both Otou-san and Sora-kun, so that you could have more fun with Otou-san. Sound good?” You grinned at him, and he gave you a small smile back. “For now, let’s just have you lie down, okay?” You helped him arrange himself so that he was fully in his father’s embrace, and then drew a blanket over them both.

“…’Night, ____-san.” He whispered.

Midorima: “Natsumi! Your lucky item is a stuffed walrus toy, nanodayo. We have one in the basement, please go and grab it. It’s in the wooden box next to the shelf.”

Once Natsumi ran off to go get it, he joined you in the living room, where you were putting together Natsumi’s school bag, and sticking necessary files into Midorima’s briefcase.

“Your lucky item is a steel water bottle. Take one from the kitchen.” He informed you.

You nodded, and pulled Midorima down for a quick kiss. “Have a nice day.”

His face flushed, even after all these years, and you giggled as he grabbed the briefcase, and glanced at his watch. His eyes widened. “Today… daylight savings… I’m late.”

You pushed him towards the door. “Go, then! Go!”

“Natsumi…” He trailed off, a little unsure. “I’m supposed to drop her off to school.”

You waved him off. “Work doesn’t start until the afternoon for me, today, so I’ll just drop her off.”

He still seemed a little uneasy, especially when she came bounding up the steps with a wide grin on her face, showcasing the stuffed walrus. “I got it, I got it!”

Sighing, he knelt down and ushered his daughter towards him. “____ will drop you off to school today. Is that alright?”

Natsumi fell quiet, but peeked at you. You gave her a smile. She then nodded. “Go save lives, ‘Tou-san, hurry!”

Midorima’s shoulder’s relaxed, and he hurriedly pulled Natsumi forward to place the tiniest of kisses on her forehead, before saying goodbye and rushing out the door.

She then turned to you. “____-san, I would like breakfast now. Then please put a bow on the walrus.” She paused, “Oh, and then can we listen to my favourite song in the car?”

You nodded, and patted her head, then leading her to the kitchen. She sat down on her seat, then gasped dramatically at the food.

“Y-you made it exactly how I like it! Even ‘Tou-san can’t do it!” Natsumi stared at you in wonderment. “Why haven’t you made this before?”

“Natsumi-chan only told me that this was her favourite last night.” You reminded her, laughing.

She quickly gobbled up the food, then jumped off her seat to shove the walrus at you. “Can I help you put the bow on it?”

Aomine: “Repeat after me.” Aomine instructed. “’Tou-san–”

“’Tou-san…”

“– Is the best.”

“… Ith the betht.”

“That’s my Tadashi.” Aomine said proudly, ruffling his son’s hair. “Did you see that, ___? He thinks I’m the best.”

You tapped Aomine’s head with your knuckles. “That’s called manipulation, Dai. Wait till Momoi hears about it.”

Aomine’s eyes widened in panic for a moment, before he snorted. “She can’t do anything to me.”

“Momo oba-chan ith gonna kick your butt!” Tadashi cheered, throwing his arms up, then breaking into some fighting moves.

Scowling at Momoi’s own brainwashing she’d done on poor Tadashi, Aomine got up from his crouched position and wrapped an arm around your shoulder as the two of you walked down a path in the park, while Tadashi ran around the two of you.

“So, did you– Tadashi!” Aomine broke off, turning around immediately when he heard the tiny shriek coming from his son.

Tadashi lay on the ground, face first, obviously crying. The two of you ran over and knelt on either side of his tiny body. Aomine helped him up into a sitting position. “What hurts, Dashi? Where– ohh… it’s not so bad, Tadashi, really. Shh.”

There was a gash on Tadashi’s shin, that was beginning to bleed. Aomine worked hard to distract Tadashi and stop him from crying, while making sure that he didn’t look at the wound. You immediately got to work, going into the backpack you’d packed, and pulling out a first aid kit. Silently, you swiftly poured some water on a cotton ball and swiped the wound clean, then wrapped a quick bandage over it. “Done!”

Aomine leaned over to look at your work, and Tadashi copied him. “Ohh, what’th that?” Tadashi asked.

“It’s a badge!” You proclaimed, taking out a pen and drawing a star on the white fabric of the bandage. “There we go! A badge for being really brave!”

Giggling, he spread his arms out wide, inviting you into a hug that you accepted immediately. Once Tadashi was back on his feet, Aomine gave you a look of love.

“Th-thanks for that.” He mumbled, scratching the back of his head. “I’ve never brought a first aid kit, it’s good that you did.”

You smiled and pecked him on the cheek. “It’s my job to take care of the both of you!”

Murasakibara: Murasakibara had been blessed with triplets, before his partner had died of cancer when the triplets turned eight years old.

Almost immediately, Himuro and his old Generation of Miracles teammates, as well as Murasakibara’s large family had gone into action, making sure both Murasakibara and the triplets were taken care of during such a trying time.

Now, they’d settled into a comfortable routine, and all was somewhat well. Besides the fact that the triplets had managed to chase away any partner Murasakibara brought home, if they deemed them unworthy. Which was all of them. But there’d only been two before you.

You were the third, and had held out the longest so far– two months. Murasakibara had invited you over to spend the night with him and his girls, and you were slightly terrified, but ready.

The night had gone surprisingly well, and just before bed, the girls were combing their father’s hair, painting his nails, and putting jewelry on him while you fed him snacks every once in a while, so that he wouldn’t ruin the nail polish. Finally, Murasakibara yawned widely and stood up, a child hanging from both his arms and neck. “Time for bed~.” He sleepily announced, easily taking the three of them to their bedroom.

He turned back for only a second to shoot you a “Be right back” smile. You waved at him.

Once he came back, the two of you cuddled on the couch, until the both of you fell asleep. At around two A.M., you woke up, suddenly extremely thirsty. Maybe it was all those salty snacks. Sleepily, you got up and stumbled over to the kitchen.

When you flicked on the light, three girls dressed as demons stood in a line, grinning at you. You shrieked and fell into a wall. “Wha- wha… what are you guys doing?”

“Scaring you.” They said at once, smiling creepily. You laughed, rolling your eyes and patting each one on the head.

“Well, you achieved your goal. Do you want some hot chocolate?”

They looked at you suspiciously. “We might.”, one of the girls finally said.

Taking it as a yes, you walked over to a cabinet and opened up the one that carried the mugs, taking down four. Each of them had a different design on it. The girls sat themselves on the kitchen table, watching your every move.

Once the hot chocolate was done, you poured some into each cup, put them on a tray, and brought it to the table. Before they reached out for them, you stuck a hand out.

“Wait, I’ll give them to each of yours. This one–” the mug with the cats with heart eyes, “is yours, Yuko. This is Yumi’s–” the mug with the galaxy pattern, “and finally, this is Yumiko’s.” The last mug was printed with dragons. You took your own mug and sipped the drink peacefully.

The girls stared at you. “You…”

“… got our…”

“… names right! And the mugs too!”

They were shocked. But you finished up your drink and ruffled Yuko’s hair. “Why wouldn’t I get it right? Hurry and finish so that I can put you three back to bed.”

Akashi: You smiled as you watched Akashi and his son, Hajime, sift through a large pile of books in their home library. They were picking out all of next week’s bedtime stories, as per usual.

Once they were done, Hajime put the pile of books in his small wagon and started to trek back towards his bedroom, where’d he’d stack them on this bedside table.

Akashi approached you, running a hand through his hair tiredly. “Sorry about that, ____, I’d forgotten that we had to pick out books today.”

You shook you head, smiling. “I think it was really cute. But… you do seem tired. And you never forget book day. Are you okay?”

He glanced over your shoulder to make sure Hajime was far enough before taking your hand and finally letting all of his exhaustion show. You had him sit down immediately. “Seijuurou! You look so tired! Did something happen?”

“I know I shouldn’t be sharing my worries when they have nothing to do with you, but… some business partner of mine has found his way in the middle of a scandal, and it might affect the company if I don’t do damage control. However, I don’t want to neglect Hajime either, I’m away from him enough as it is. I really don’t know what to do. Hiring a babysitter would be like giving away my responsibilities, and I don’t want that. “

Pulling Akashi into a hug, you murmured words of comfort, rubbing his back. You felt him melt into your embrace, and his breathing slow down slightly. He was relaxing, finally. “Seijuurou, if the problem affects you, then it’s my problem as well. Don’t hide these things from me, okay? Let me take care of Hajime, at least for tonight. You can get some work done then go to sleep right away. You need it.”

“I want to take care of Hajime. You’re my partner, not Hajime’s babysitter.” He weakly protested, voice muffled by the fabric of your shirt.

You pulled back and fixed Akashi with a stern look. “As your partner, I’m automatically Hajime’s co-caretaker. I love the kid to bits, I want to take care of him. Please let me. I want to take care of both of you. Please.”

Sighing, he nodded. “Just for tonight. If anything goes wrong, tell me immediately.”

And so you played with Hajime, as you usually did, and Akashi went back to work, after some insistence from you. The real test was during bed time. Once Hajime was all tucked in, he held Sunday’s book and stared at the door expectantly.

“Haji… would it be okay if I read you your story tonight?” You asked quietly, smoothing out his blankets.

He shook his head. “Thank you, ___-san, but Otou-san always reads me my stories. I’ll wait for him.”

You tried to think up a different tactic. Slowly, you sat down next to him on the bed, and glanced at the book. “What’s the book called?”

“The Blue Bug Makes Friends With the Purple Turtle.” Hajime stated, still staring at the door.

“Ah… may I see it? Just for a bit?”

Narrowing his eyes at you, he reluctantly handed the book over. You flipped through the pages, grinning and laughing slightly.

Hajime’s straightened his back and tried to peek over your arm, at the book. “What? What?”

You shut the book, smiling at the small boy. “Ah, it’s nothing. The book is really funny, is all.”

“How is it funny? Tell me.” He demanded.

You shook your head. “That’ll ruin the story. You should just wait till your Otou-san reads it to you.”

Fidgeting, Hajime went back to staring at the door for a few seconds before turning to you almost desperately. “Okay, fine, read me the story. But you better have different voices for all the characters.”

At three A.M., Akashi walked into his son’s room, exhausted, only to find Hajime and you cuddled up together, sleeping, book still in your hand. Smiling fondly, he took the book from you and grabbed a blanket, draping it over your body before getting into the other side of the bed, arm thrown over both his son and the love of his life.

kissing kise all day kind of scenario?

First of the Valentine’s / love asks! Enjoy! – Admin Jade

Kise’s eyelids flutter, sleep slowly eluding him as he becomes cognitive of a presence over his body. Cracking open one eye, he lets show a small smile, sleep still tugging at the recesses of his conscious but being driven ever back by the revealing of your face hovered above him, lips pursed to pepper him with kisses from his forehead, down the bridge of his nose finally landing on his lips. He moves to deepen it but you’re already moving to the right, landing little teasing pecks across one cheek then the other.

With a grin to match your playful attitude, you announce, “Breakfast is ready. I gotta go, don’t be late, m-kay?”

“Yeah,” he responds, voice a bit raspy from lack of use for the last eight hours.

His eyes follow you from his prone position and he smiles a bit wider when you blow him a kiss over your shoulder.

The morning flies in a flurry of contract reading and signing. By the time noon rolls around, he’s tired, starving and feeling like Godzilla has been traipsing around in his brain. But it seems to melt away as you enter his dressing room, smile on your face and lunch in your hands.

“Seems you had a busy morning,” you comment, drawing takeout from his favorite place down the street. The food is still hot but he’s hungry for something else. As you turn, he’s there, planting eager lips upon your own. With gentle but firm pressure he gets you to yield, parting your lips enough to gain a taste of you and the latte you’d finished on your way to the studio.

With gentle pressure of your own, you push against his chest. “Ryouta, we only have twenty minutes and the food’ll get cold. You need to eat to keep your strength up.”

He pouts which earns him one more chaste kiss before you settled upon the floor by the table and begin digging in. He sighs, following your lead, and though he still pouts for lack of kisses, he’s grateful for the calories.

“Welcome home, sweetie,” you call from the kitchen as he returns to your shared apartment. It smells divine, the scent of ginger and other spices he can’t identify wafting around the small room. “How did the rest-ah!” Your words end abruptly as his strong hands whirl you around and press you to the counter, arms caging you in and his mouth latching to your neck. “Ryou..ta,” you gasp, lacing your fingers through his golden tresses.

“Can’t….wait…”he groans, lifting under your ass to plant you in a better position to ravage your mouth, “need…you.” You hum appreciation against his lips, the vibration felt all the way to his toes.

Deftly he gathers you in his arm, flicks off the burner and lands on the couch with you straddled over his lap, all done without ever breaking the kiss.

“You owe me a day’s worth of kisses.” His voice is low, full of need.

“Just kisses?” you ask, coyly.

He grins up at you, eyes gaining more shine. “For now.” Then there’s no more talking, just the feel of you pressed to him, his hands roaming your body and his lips and tongue working you over until you beg him for more.

Rolling over among twisted sheets, her hand reaches beside her only to find the space vacant. “He must be in the bathroom,” she thinks, settling more fully under the blanket. Ten minutes later, the distinct smell of bacon wafts into the room. “Mmmmm, bacon…maybe we’ll go out to breakfast today.” When the bacon scent is joined by something sweet, waffles or pancakes maybe, her mouth is watering. Blinking open sleep encrusted eyes, she realizes Kise still hasn’t returned and the scents she’s been enjoying are becoming stronger. Frowning, she stands, throwing on a robe to protect from the chill in the room. Hand just about to touch the knob of their bedroom door, she sees a note taped to it.

_____-cchi, first: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Second: get back in bed.

She smiles, catching onto his game but willing to play it nonetheless and does as he says, lying down to play with on her phone while she waits.

After another ten minutes, she hears footsteps nearing the door, Kise’s face appearing as he opens the door. He smiles, eyes warm with affection when they land on her. “I figured you’d wake up,” he chuckles, moving carefully so as not to disturb the contents of the tray in his hands.

As he gets closer, she sits up, smoothing out the blanket to make room for his surprise.

Reaching her with no mishaps, Kise pulls down the legs of the tray and settles the homemade breakfast down. He’s gone all out, filling it with a large stack of pancakes, fruit bowl stuffed with strawberries, bananas and blueberries, a hearty helping of bacon and a cup of steaming hot coffee. The scent of warmed syrup has her licking her lips and her stomach growling.

Kise laughs, leaning down to plant a kiss to her cheek, murmuring against her skin, “Happy Birthday, _____-cchi.”

She giggles, turning her head to capture his lips in a lingering, sweet kiss. “Thank you so much Ryouta, this looks amazing!”

“Dig in, I’ll get mine and join you,” he insists.

He doesn’t have to tell her twice, a bite of syrup drenched pancakes making her moan in pleasure.

Armed with his own tray, Kise sits next to her, nibbling away at the bacon. “So, what do you want to do for your special day?” he asks before taking his own bite of pancake.

She shrugs, fully immersed in her meal. Thinking it over, she looks up at him. “I really just wanted to spend the day with you, I don’t really care what we do,” she admits with a smile.

He hums, looking out the window. It’s still fairly dark, clouds covering the sky and threatening rain. “I think we should snuggle up and watch movies, we can enjoy junk food all day without guilt because their celebratory calories.”

She laughs, poking his cheek. “I thought that only applies to the person being celebrated?”

He shrugs. “I have practice tomorrow, I’ll burn it all off in no time.”

“Now you’re just being annoying,” she pouts, but there’s no ire in her tone. “Still, I like your idea, let’s do it.”

“Good, because I’m gonna spoil you with all the sweetness I can.”

Setting down the trays carefully to the floor, she sits upon his lap, mischievous smile on her lips. “Right now, the only sweetness I’m interested in is yours,” she whispers before kissing him passionately.

Kise rotates, pining her body beneath his own. “Then by all means, let me give you your fill.”

Can I ask for head canons for GOM + Kagami, Takao, Himuro, and Kasamatu for a New Year’s Eve Party? (Like who would go out with friends to a party or stay in with family, who get really drunk, kiss or be kissed by a stranger etc)?

imagine-knb:

Kuroko

  • the beginning of New Years is spent with his family, as they are very traditionalist
  • there will be mochi and there will be plenty of it
    • so much that he often has leftovers for days
    • if he does end up going to a New Years party, he’s bringing mochi as a snack for everyone

Kagami

  • Kagami had been planning to spend it alone at his apartment, just like a normal night, but his team saw to it that he at least had a little party
    • basically they all invited themselves over
  • Kagami ended up hosting a party he hadn’t even expected to plan
    • he ends up having a blast despite complaining that he hadn’t signed up for anything

Kise

  • he would have thrown his own party, but he didn’t want to subject any of his friends to the “horrors” that are his sisters during New Years
    • he still feels sick every time he thinks about having to clean up after they’d partied a little too hard
    • this does not stop Kise from partying hard himself
  • he is very enthusiastic about giving his lover a New Years kiss

Kasamatsu

  • New Years is one of the celebrations that he actually wants to spend with his family
  • as the older brother, he often gets put in charge of his younger siblings
    • this includes making sure they don’t act like idiots while playing with fireworks
    • he can’t blame them though; he did the same when he was their age

Aomine

  • all night he brags about how he’s going to get someone to kiss him
    • these plans prove hard to accomplish though when he hardly knows anybody at the party he’s at
  • a stranger winds up kissing him instead and he’s astonished (and a little ashamed) that he wasn’t the one to make the first move
    • he will definitely be hitting the person up later though

Midorima

  • he wanted to spend the New Year celebration at home, but his teammates wouldn’t allow that to happen
    • he spends a large chunk of his first few hours out complaining
  • nobody tells Midorima that all the juice at the party is spiked and soon he stops complaining and starts slurring
    • he’s a rather sleepy drunk, so this is one of his tamest New Years

Takao

  • at any party he goes to this New Years, you can expect him to be the one at fault for spiking the juice
  • Takao is a bit of a party animal and is definitely ready to stay up all night
    • as he’s the most enthusiastic about seeing the fireworks, he is also the one to bring most of them
    • ends up burning himself a little every time, but he still has fun

Murasakibara

  • New Years is spent at home with his rather large family
  • while everyone else is excited for mochi and fireworks and celebration, Murasakibara wants to treat the night like any other
    • that being said, he’s not too big on all the celebration
    • the promise of sweet mochi as opposed to savory is the only thing keeping him from complaining about all the noise

Himuro

  • he spends a lot of the day video chatting with his family back in America
    • Himuro celebrates New Years twice thanks to the time difference
  • since the majority of his family is still back in the states, he spends the night celebrating with Alex
    • he doesn’t tell her he’s actually there to make sure she doesn’t get too wasted

Akashi

  • New Years is somewhat of a big event in his household
    • it’s more of a business opportunity for his father than it is a family gathering, so Akashi isn’t interested in it either way
  • this time of year never was special to him because it always meant business parties that he couldn’t bring friends to
    • he kind of wishes more of his friends would invite him to their events

Kise

Kise pumped his legs faster, praying he would make it in time. If he was late for practice one more day, Kasamatsu-senpai would kill him; or worse, he’d bench him. The station came into view, train at a standstill but the announcer’s voice indicated he’d run out of time. Only focused on his end goal, Kise burst forward in a mad dash, reaching the door just as it was closing. He jumped, wedging himself between the sliding panels, but couldn’t quite get a foothold to push all the way in. The wall of the tunnel was getting closer and just as he figured he’d lose more than his position on the court for one game, he was tugged roughly into the car, landing in a sprawled mess upon the floor his chest rising and falling rapidly.

“You know, you’re just adding to the belief that blondes are dumb,” a voice said from above him.

As Kise opened his eyes, he felt a tingling sensation on his arm.

“No! Of all times and all things to have been said, why now? Why that?” Timidly, he looked at his wrist, groaning as the very words just spoken to him etched their way upon his skin. He turned his attention back to the car, only to realize he had no idea who’d spoken to him. Much as he hated the words, he wanted his soulmate but how could he find them? He couldn’t just blurt out, “Who saved me?” He didn’t think the phenomena worked like that. Worrying his bottom lip, he stood indecisive, eyes flicking all about the car looking for any connection, but everyone kept their attention fixed on their phone screens, out the window or on books and newspapers.

Sighing, he thumped his head against the wall.

When he arrived at his stop, he filed out with the rest of the passengers, discouraged he’d probably never find his soulmate again when the person ahead of him dropped their book, unware of its absence. Rushing forward, Kise picked it up before it was trampled, calling out, “Excuse me, you dropped this!”

You turned, opening your mouth to thank him but froze, jaw unhinged as you felt a light burning on the arm extended towards the blonde you’d managed to save from losing his leg. He planted the book in your hand, confusion on his face at your expression until he noticed your arm.

Eyes brightening to an alarming degree, he exclaimed, “Soulmate-cchi! I found you after all!”

Kasamatsu

“What’s the point of going on a date if they’re not my soulmate, huh? It’s just a waste of time!” Kasamatsu snapped.

But Kise was being even more obstinate than usual. “You’ll never meet them if you don’t get out there and try! I have mine, Kasamatsu-senpai, and they’re wonderful!”

There was no lie in that, you had been a rather amazing addition to the ace’s life. Kasamatsu appreciated your no nonsense attitude and that you kept the golden boy in line better than even he could. “I’m still surprised you didn’t end up more hurt, maybe Midorima is right about all the mystical crap.”

“No changing the subject, senpai! Just go! If anything it will give you practice for when you do finally meet your destined one.”

Destined one? Was that really how it worked?

And so Kasamatsu found himself agreeing, more so just to get Kise to shut up about it than anything else. He considered not going. He didn’t want to be there anyway and what did he care that someone Kise knew was offended? But his sense of propriety won out in the end and he found himself making way to a park to meet this mystery person.

It was going to be a disaster, he just knew it.

Approaching the fountain agreed to as the simplest meeting spot, Kasamatsu spotted you, your own eyes searching for him. When you locked gazes he felt his throat tighten up; you were gorgeous.

He didn’t know how he kept walking but eventually he was standing just in front of you, however your expression was not one of recognition. Had Kise not told you what he looked like? Not provided enough details? The blonde could be a bit scattered brained from time to time, but surely even he would realize-

“Is there something you wanted, or are you just going to stand there gaping like a fish?”

Startled out of his thoughts, Kasamatsu barely recognized the fact you were speaking to him when he felt pressure on his inner wrist up to his elbow. Looking down, he almost fainted; you were his soulmate?

Flustered even more, he blurted out, “You’re my soulmate!”

Your eyes widened as his words appeared slowly on your arm. Looking to it and then his, you couldn’t stop a chuckle, then a full blown laugh from escaping your lips. The male before you scowled, unclear at the reason of your amusement but when you took his hand, his heart nearly stopped.

“I’m sorry for the…less than desirable ink you have there. How about I make it up to you by paying for dinner while we get to know each other?”

Imayoshi

Imayoshi was tired, it had been a long day of wrangling Aomine to practice, talking Sakurai down from whatever ledge he’d placed himself on this time and trying to keep Wakamatsu from killing both of them. He sat upon the gym floor, relishing in the momentary quiet as the team took care of washing up and changing back into their street clothes. He’d found it advantageous to wait until they’d all gone before taking his own shower, where he could be alone with his thoughts and planning their training and drills.

Boisterous chatter, mostly arguments from Too’s most temperamental members, signified his opportunity to retreat.

Later, he made his way to the bus stop, muscles protesting each step.

Taking a seat on the newly arrived bus, he sighed out to no one, “I swear on my soul, if those guys don’t get their act together I’ll kill them.”

From across the aisle he heard, “Do you even have a soul?”

Head whipping to the side, his eyes landed on your face, the mischievous smirk he found there intriguing. You looked a little familiar, clearly a fellow student at Too, unless you were just in the habit of blurting out insults to random strangers. Just as he was about to reply, he felt a tapping on his arm and looked down, watching as the very words just spoken to him bled into existence on his skin.

Lips curling into a devious smirk, his narrowed eyes looked once more at your face, now a bit paler and with no sign of your previous cheekiness to be found. Leaning forward, he whispered, “Property of Imayoshi Soichi.”

You gasped, frantically rubbing your arm as if that would magically erase your soulmate’s words. Suddenly he was beside you, eyes opening just enough to reveal his irises which burned with wicked amusement. “Now, I think, would be a good time to get to know one another, don’t you?”

Kise and Kuroko (separate) enjoying the winter season with their s/o

We don’t have much of a winter where I am, so it’s always fun to write about it! I hope you enjoy! – Admin Jade

Kise

Exhaling a cloud of steam, Kise rubbed his hands rapidly in efforts to warm them despite the gloves. He looked about, taking in the city park which had been transformed into a winter wonderland with unmarred snow covering every inch of it, the only disturbance his own footsteps that led him to this particular spot.

“Kise-kun!”

Smiling, he turned, eyes shining as you made your way towards him, two presumably hot drinks in your hands. You extended one to him with a sweet smile. “Light on sugar and cream, just how you like it.”

Kise took it, the frost melting from his fingers and sighed as he lifted the cup, closed his eyes and inhaled the lovely caffeinated scent. He’d not thought he would like coffee but you’d convinced him to try it and now it was one of his favorite treats. The steam warmed his face but being with you warmed his heart.

Opening his eyes, he moved to your side, wrapped his arm about your shoulders and pecked the top of your head. “This was a great idea, _____-cchi, it’s so peaceful in the morning!”

You snuggled into his side, shivering a bit. “Yes, but I hadn’t realized just how cold it was going to be!”

Kise chuckled, rubbing your arm. “That just means we have to stay close, right?”

A playful pinch of his side had him yelping as you teased, “Like you need any excuse.”

“So mean,” he pouted, but didn’t move away.

After a few moments of standing enjoying your drinks, the hot liquid warming from the inside out, Kise tugged you forward. As you walked arm in arm, the gentle crunch of snow beneath your feet, the sun began to crest the horizon, sending tendrils of light cascading off the fresh white powder. Looking up, you gasped and pointed.

Kise followed your line of sight, inhaling his own sharp breath when he saw hundreds of icicles hanging in the trees with the sun’s rays creating bursts of color in their refraction. He looked back down to you, watching your eyes sparkle with excitement and drew closer to your face. “I think we have a new yearly tradition,” he said, planting a kiss to your cheek. He drew back, enjoying the pink tinging your face before leaning back down to kiss your lips.

Kuroko

The sound of holiday tunes and children’s laughter grew louder the closer you and your boyfriend drew to the ice rink. As it came into view, Kuroko stopped abruptly, squeezing your hand. “Kuroko-kun, what’s wrong?”

He swallowed, keeping his eyes fixed on the frozen water encased by support walls, images of coach’s latest training brain scheme flashing through his mind, his backside pulsing at the painful memory. “Eh, just…not a fan of ice,” he said lamely, ashamed he was so afraid to go back out there.

But you squeezed his hand back and smiled. “It’ll be fine, you can hang onto me if you want,” you offered sweetly, tugging him forward gently.

Still resistant, Kuroko nonetheless followed your lead as you made way to the rental booth, but he drew the line at letting you pay for him.

Together you found an empty bench and switch out shoes for skates, fingertips feeling the bite of the cold winter air. After putting your gloves back on, you offered a hand once more to Kuroko. “Come on, we’ll stay on the edge until you feel more comfortable.”

“Won’t we be in the way?” he asked nervously.

“No, experienced skaters go into the center more, we’ll be fine there.” And taking his hand you pulled him up and into the rink, giving instruction as you went.

Soon enough, though still quite wobbly, Kuroko was managing to skate with his hand just hovering above the wall. “I’m fine for now, _____-chan, why don’t you go out and do some real skating? I don’t want this to be boring for you,” he said.

Frowning, you stopped in front of him, hands on his shoulders. “As long as I’m with you, I’m happy, I don’t need to be speeding around if it means leaving you by yourself.”

Kuroko couldn’t stop the flush to his cheeks at your earnest words, still unused to someone paying so much attention to him for anything besides basketball. Smiling softly, he replied, “And I won’t be happy until you’ve gotten some proper skating in. Go on, I’ll have more fun watching you, I’m sure.”

You sighed but nodded, leaning forward to peck his cheek.

Then you were off in a burst of speed that had him catching his breath. How could anyone move that quickly and gracefully on ice? Sure, you were using skates and not shoes, but with the ease of which you moved about Kuroko had no doubt you would have ran literal circles around the team if you’d been with them that day. His smile widened as he leaned his elbows against the wall but a second later his feet slid out from under him and he found himself smacking his butt to the ice hard. Groaning, he tilted his head back, thumping it against the wall as you hurried towards him asking loudly if he was ok.

When you reached his side and knelt to help him up, he asked, “Now can we go get hot chocolate?”

Laughing, you nodded, hefting him to his feet and made your way off the ice.
