Hello! Once you get this you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly, then send this on to 10 of your favorite followers (non- negotiable, positivity is super cool!) đŸ’•

Five things I like about myself huh? Hmmmmmm

1.) I’m reliable. I’ve had many friends reaffirm this part of me because I’m that friend you can not talk to for months or even years but if you really need me or we randomly get together again it’s like no time has gone by.

2.) My ability to have fun. I’m a goof ball and like to laugh and make others laugh and when I’m able to do both it’s a good day.

3.) My intelligence. That sounds so pretentious but honestly, I’m pretty smart all things considered. My husband appreciates this too 😉

4.) My body. I’m in the process of losing weight but I’m finally doing it solely from a place of wanting to be healthy and strong rather than for my appearance (that will just be an added bonus). I’m very curvy (top and bottom heavy) and just recently found out my sister’s daughter-in-law thought I paid for my assets LOL. Nope, they’re all natural baby!

5.) My heart. I give a lot of myself to people and though I’ve learned to temper that as I’ve aged I still manage to open it to people and give what I can to them (within reason).

Thanks for the send, Bunny!

BEAUTIFUL PERSON AWARD ♡✧( ु•⌄• ) once you get this award, you’re supposed to paste it in the ask box of 8 people who deserve it. If you break the chain nothing will happen, but it’s nice to know that someone thinks you’re beautiful inside and out ❤️ ( ◜◒◝ )♡

Supernatural AU: Hinata being a wizard in training, and he is out in the night of October 30th trying to catch a special type of fairy, but miserably failing, and the reader, who is also his classmate, finds him discovering his secret. I know it’s supposed to be spooky, but the idea of Hinata as a young clumsy wizard makes my heart burst haha. THANK YOU.

“Gwah!” Hinata’s voice carries through the trees as he lands heavily on his butt, the fairy he was attempting to catch twittering with laughter as he stands up from the mud puddle, silk robe all but ruined. He really should have left it at home like his mother advised.

“Darn you!” he calls, shaking his fist towards the air.

More chipper laughter is heard, the flit of her wings disappearing in a wink as she takes off.

“No! Wait! Come back! I can’t wait another year!!”

“Hinata-kun?”

A voice from the dark makes him jump, his balanced lost once more and he falls heavily back into the mud. With a startled yelp, she rushes forward, heedless of her own clothes to help him stand. “Are you ok? What are you doing out here?” Her eyes take in his attire. “And what are you wearing?”

He rubs the back of his head, belatedly realizing the result is merely more mud on his person. Sighing he looks in the direction of his lost cause. “I…I’m a wizard. Well,” he adds quickly, scratching his cheek, “an apprentice at least.”

Silence returns to the forest before she laughs, more in nerves than actually making fun of him. “Oh? And who or what were you yelling at?”

His head whips around, eyes meeting hers. “A fairy, one that would help me fly.”

She tilts her head, covering her mouth to hide her smile. “Hinata-kun, I thought you already could.”

He mimics her motion, head to the side. “What do you mean?”

“I’ve seen you on the court, if anyone can fly,” she pats his shoulder, “it’s you.”

She walks back towards the pathway, leaving him gobsmacked and blushing. He still wants to catch the fairy and he still wants to fly for real, but for now, all he wants to do is catch up to her.

So he does.

Number 10 with my baby Tendou Satori !!!! Thank you babe !!

Tendou- #10 Secret Santa

Walking into his homeroom, Tendou’s eyes widened when they fell upon a prettily wrapped box sitting on his desk. Glancing around revealed no clues as to who’d left it.  Perhaps it was a mistake? Surely no one would leave him a gift; unless it was one of his teammates. An ironic smile flickered over his face as he convinced himself it was most likely a prank from Semisemi.

He sat down, picking up the present and tearing into the paper. As he popped the top open, his eyes bugged out. Nestled in tissue paper laid the latest edition of Shonen Jump along with a gift certificate to his favorite ice cream shop.

Merry Christmas, Tendou-san! I hope you enjoy these treats. The card, clearly homemade but well done, held no signature identifying the giver.

Ok, so it wasn’t from Semi. And it certainly wasn’t from Wakatoshi. Friendly as they were, the two boys had never bothered to get gifts for each other, much less for Christmas. And there was no way he’d hand make a card.

“What’s that, Tendou?” Ushijima asked nodding to the manga in the middle blocker’s hands as he set himself and his food tray down across the table from the red head later that afternoon.

“Apparently I have a Secret Santa to find,” Tendou replied tucking it and the certificate into his backpack. His smile was wide, eyes a bit brighter as he scanned the room quickly, but he failed to notice her watching him from behind a pillar on the other side of the cafeteria, a smile on her face when she saw his expression. While she wasn’t ready to come forward with her feelings just yet, bringing some cheer to Tendou’s holidays was enough for now.

Hope I can talk to Tendou, I want to ask him why is he so cuuuuteeee and lovable (灬♥ω♥灬)

*Tendou looks over one
shoulder then the other, finally looking back at your face, searching for
deception*
“Wait, when you said “he”, you meant me?” When you nod his eyes
go wide with surprise. “You think I’m cute?” Another nod. “And loveable?” More
nodding. “Didn’t see that coming,” he mutters, but smiles ever so slightly. “I
don’t really know, why don’t you tell me?”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAIKYUULOVERCOMPANY!!

To celebrate the very sweet and talented @haikyuulovercompany I have constructed this Tendo fluff for her (and your)
enjoyment. HAPPY BIRTHDAY darling! I hope your day is filled with love,
laughter and Haikyuu! Everyone send her some birthday love! 🙂

A resounding crash followed by cursing has Wakatoshi walking
into the shared kitchen of his dormitory where he discovers Tendo standing in
the middle of what looks like a bakery war zone.

“Satori-san, what are you doing?” asks the ace with a
deadpan face.

Raising his head, his pants sporting a splatter of what
looks to be cake mix, the guess monster groans out, “I was trying to bake
_____-chan a birthday cake and the bowl flew from my hand while I was mixing
and well,” he ends lifting his arms, rotating back and forth before
allowing them to fall back to his sides.

Leaning down, Wakatoshi picks up the errant bowl, some of
the viscous goo sticking to his fingers as he places it in the sink.
Absentmindedly, he sucks the pink sludge from his finger, a slight tremor
shooting through his body though his face remains neutral.

“Satori-san,” he says and Tendo looks up from where he’s knelt
to start wiping up the mess, “It’s probably a good thing you didn’t end up
baking this.”

“What do you mean?” the red head asks perplexed.

“Did you taste it?”

Shaking his head, Tendo swipes a clump off his pant leg, encasing
his finger between his lips. His eyes widened, a cough spluttering out as he
rushes to get a glass of water. After chugging it down he pants, “What the hell
was that?” Looking at the ingredients spread across the counter he reaches into
a clear bin containing a white substance and licks his fingers again, groaning
as he realizes his mistake.

“I used salt instead of sugar!” the middle
blocker cries. “Why are none of these ingredients labeled?”

Patting him on the back, Wakatoshi grabs more paper towels
and begins wiping the counter down. Tendo returns to the task of cleaning the
floor before washing the dishes and putting them away, again with the ace’s
assistance.

“Thanks for your help,” Tendo sighs collapsing in a chair.

“You’re welcome, but why were you doing this? Can’t you just
buy her something?” he asks sitting as well.

“Of course not! I want her to know how special she is to me
and store-bought goodies aren’t the way to do that!”

Wakatoshi remains silent, unsure how to assist his friend.
He’s not a cook nor a baker. Finally, he says, “Just figure out something else
to get her.” He stands nodding once and then exits the room.

Tendo rolls his eyes. “Oh sure, cuz it’s the simple,” he
mutters to the empty room.

Sighing he places his head on his hand, leaning against the
table, eyes closing as he tries to think of what to make for you. He really
does want you to know how special you are, the one girl who’s liked him for
him, who didn’t run away from him in fear or start rumors or make snide
comments. But it’s not just those things he loves about you, oh no, there’s so
much more. There’s your smile that crinkles up your eyes until you can’t see, your
laugh that bubbles up like sparkling cider from your chest, your eyes that
shine like stars when you watch him play, your shouts of encouragement he
somehow always hears above the cacophony of noise in the gym.

His eyelids fly up; he knows what to do for your birthday.

Walking through the halls, your arms laden with various gifts
from friends, you know your cheeks are going to hurt for hours from all the
smiling you’ve done. Everyone just made you feel so loved! But a twinge of
sadness hits your heart when you think about how Satori had to miss school
today. You were so looking forward to seeing his goofy grin, feel his arms
around you and get your birthday kiss but a stupid cold kept him locked in his
room.

As you near the door to exit the building Wakatoshi steps
out of a classroom, his eyes landing on you. You feel a slight tremor of
nervousness shoot through you; even though you’re his best friend’s girlfriend,
he still intimidates you. But, you reason, it’s probably because you’re never
sure what he’s thinking. Being with Tendo, you’ve grown used to hearing him
speak his mind and the loudness of his behavior so someone quiet tends to
unnerve you.

“_____-chan, would you like some help?” he offers eyeing the
load of goodies in your arms.

“Tha…thank you Ushijima-san,” you stammer allowing him to
lift your burdens.

“I told you, call me Wakatoshi,” he says and you smile.

You walk in silence towards your dormitory for a bit before you
ask, “Do you know if Satori-kun is feeling better? I wanted to visit him today
but he said not to because he didn’t want to get me sick.”

“He’s fine,” the ace answers simply.

“Oh,” you reply turning your head back to look ahead of you.

Reaching your door, you grab your keys from the pocket of
your purse and unlock it. As the door swings open, you gasp, hands flying to
your mouth. Before you stands Satori, clad in a black suit (with a tie no less)
holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. Turning to look at Wakatoshi, you’re
shocked to see a very small smile on his face.

“Here,” he says handing you back your gifts, all of which would
have ended up on the floor thanks to your shock if he hadn’t been carrying
them. You realize now his reason for waiting for you and blush.

“Thank you, Wakatoshi-kun,” you say and he nods once.
Looking at his friend, he flashes a thumbs up before walking away. Entering
your room, you shut the door, dropping your presents on the bed. You rush to
Tendo, throwing your arms around his neck as he picks you up in a large hug.

“Happy birthday, lover,” he says in your ear making you
sigh.

“You little brat,” you retort, smacking his arm gently, “It’s
not nice to lie to your girlfriend, especially on her birthday!”

He chuckles as he sets you down, caressing your cheek with
his hand. “I wanted to surprise you and the only way to do it was to get everything
ready while you were in class. Besides, I think you’ll forgive me when you see
your gift.”

“What, you’re not my gift? I rather like the wrapping,” you
say blushing at his dapper appearance.

He grins widely, standing aside to reveal a pretty dress
picked especially for you. “I’ll admit, I needed help picking it out, so you
can thank Kayami-san for that.” It’s your favorite color, knee length and cut
modestly but is fancy enough to match his suit.

“I’ll wait outside,” he says opening the door. “I’d say take
your time but we do have a reservation so if you can be ready in twenty minutes
that would be great. I tried to get it later but this was the best they could
do.”

“It’s fine!” you say quickly, hurrying to pick up the
garment. “I’ll be ready in fifteen!”

He shakes his head at your cute eagerness and shuts the door.
True to your word, fifteen minutes later you step out, hair and makeup done to
perfection. Tendo stares openly, his mouth slightly agape.

“You look amazing,” he breathes, hands settling on your
waist.

“Thank you,” you whisper blushing.

Grabbing your hand, he leads you outside to the gates of the
school where a car is waiting. Inside you see his mother grinning and waving
from the driver side and you return the wave with a bright smile. Opening the
door for you, Tendo helps you get seated then sits down himself.

The ride to the restaurant is filled with you telling Satori
about your day and all the lovely gifts and thoughtful messages people gave
you. Eventually you arrive to the new fusion restaurant that just opened about
a month ago that you and Satori kept saying you wanted to go to.

His mom says she’ll be back in a couple hours before waving
the two of you off.

As you enter, Satori goes to the hostess podium and gives
his name. She smiles at him then you, indicating you to follow her. Walking to
the back, you’re surprised to find a private table set up with candles, more
flowers and soft music playing; it’s all so romantic and sweet. Satori pulls
out your chair, helping you get seated before taking his own.

Reaching across the table, he grabs your hand, trailing his
thumb over the back of it and staring in your eyes. Clearing his throat, he
retracts his hand, grabbing a small wrapped box from his inside jacket pocket
and hands it to you.

“Happy birthday,” he says grinning.

You smile back, tugging the paper off and opening the box; inside
is a piece of folded paper.

Unfurling it, you see Tendo’s spikey but somehow legible
writing scrawled across the white square. Pulling it near your face, you read:

Lover,

I tried to bake a cake
for you

It really seemed not
hard to do

But salt and sugar
look the same

Needless to say, it turned
out lame

I’m not a sculptor,
painter or such

My sense of colors
really sucks

So to make you art would
be too hard

But I just couldn’t
buy a generic card

And thus far if you
couldn’t tell

I don’t write poetry
very well

But it was the only
thing that I could do

To explain how much I
really love you

I love your eyes and the
sparkle they hold

Your cheering always
makes me bold

Your kind-hearted, selfless
spirit

I can’t believe you’d
let me near it

I love the way you laugh
and smile

You make my heart beat
at a hundred miles

You really don’t know
how much you mean to me

But I hope over time
you will see

So thank you for your
grace and love

I treasure all of you,
my precious dove

As you look up, a stray tear slides down your cheek, but you’re
smiling softly as Satori watches you. Standing up, you come to him and kiss his
lips gently.

“This is the best present I received all day, thank you
Satori-kun,” you say and he smiles.

Retaking your seat, you giggle out, “Did you really mix up salt
and sugar?”

He blushes, nodding his head and you laugh a bit harder but
he loves your laughter, even if you’re laughing at him and eventually he laughs
too, thinking really it was quite funny. Before long, you’re ordering a sampler
platter to share, chatting away about this and that and just generally enjoying
one another’s company.

“By the way, what made you decide to go to dinner all
dressed up? You didn’t have to do all this you know?” you ask before taking a
bite of dessert.

“I wanted to spoil you a bit. You do a lot for me and take
so little in return. Plus,” he adds taking out another box, “That wasn’t your
only present.”

You take the box, unwrapping it carefully. Popping it open,
your breath catches, eyes widening as you look at its contents. Nestled in
bright pink tissue paper is a silver locket, but instead of a heart it’s round,
the pattern of a volleyball etched into its surface.

“I had to go to Tokyo to get that, hence my absence from
school today,” he confesses. He pauses before saying, “Open it.”

Gently you unclasp the latch and open the locket, gasping
when your eyes fall upon a picture of you and Satori from your first date a
year ago. Inscribed on the other side are the words: “A monster and his lover.”

Satori stands, moving behind you and taking the necklace
from your hands to clasp it around your neck. Leaning down, he kisses your
cheek, whispering, “I love you.”

You turn your head, lips capturing his before you breathe
back, “I love you too, my lovely monster.”

Okay. I’m going to do it. Let’s have Tendo being the new boyfriend of the reader, and while they’re on a date, they meet by accident with Ryota, her ex boyfriend. Like, Tendo goes for 5 mins, and when he returns he’s already talking with his gf and Tendo knows perfectly who he is. Give me some jealous Tendo pleeeease hahaha

So this came out a bit more…angsty and while there is
jealousy it blends more to insecurity which I guess is something that breeds
jealousy. Either way, I hope you like it and thanks for adhering to my call
out! 😊

“Thanks for coming with me Satori-kun! It’s always so much
more fun having someone to go to games with,” you say taking his hand and
squeezing. The red head returns your smile though his is a bit more strained.
He knows you’re a friendly person, good with people and generally the complete
opposite of himself, but he wonders not for the first time why on earth you’re
coming to your ex-boyfriend’s
basketball game? As far as dates go, this one must be on the bottom of his list
of favorites. Scratch that, it’s not even going on the list! He knows he
shouldn’t care, that he can trust you, but when he’d heard where you were going
and who you were going to see, he couldn’t stop himself from saying he would
take you.

The gym is full, basketball fans as far as the eye can see,
pumped and ready for the Winter Cup to begin. Tendo has never had any interest
in the game. A bunch of tall, sweaty guys running back and forth lazily
shooting a ball into a basket? Boring!

“Just you wait and see,” you’d commented when he’d said as
much to you in the train on your way to the arena, “These teams are anything
but boring.”

As you take your seats, rather close to the court he notices
and figures someone must have
arranged for you to have such a good vantage point on, of course, Kaijo High’s
side, Tendo realizes he forgot to take you to the snack stand. Looking at the
time, he figures he can make it there and back before tipoff. Not that he
really cares but he is trying to for your sake; it’s not your fault he’s
bitter, that’s his own issue to deal with.

“I’ll be right back,” he says standing, “gonna go get us
some snacks. Gotta make this trip worthwhile somehow and greasy, sugary arena
food is the way to do it.” He smirks down at you, ruffling your hair and kissing
your pout before leaving.

It takes him a bit longer than he anticipated and he misses
seeing the teams’ entrances catching them on the TV screens scattered
throughout the hallways. What he doesn’t
miss is the roar of the crowd, particularly the squealing screams of the girls
as Kise Ryota, the literal golden boy of Kaijo’s team, makes his way onto the
court. Nearing the front of the line, he’s assessing the menu choices when a
question of, “I wonder who that girl is that Kise is so interested in?” catches
his attention.

Looking back at the screens, his pulse pounds in his ears as
he watches the blonde lean into your space, his face exceptionally to close to
yours and your smile a bit too bright for his liking. Gritting his teeth and
forgetting all about his reason for being where he is, he rushes out of line.

Coming down the stairs, he can see Kise still talking to
you, mouth opening in a laugh, his eyes squinting in mirth at whatever you
said. Tendo clenches his fists unable to stop another type of monster of the green-eyed
variety from emerging. Just who does this guy think he is, touching you like
that! Wait, touching?!

Sure enough, Kise’s hand is on your shoulder, his thumb
tracing back and forth and Tendo can feel his eyes narrowing, a deep inhale of
irritation filling his lungs. Doesn’t he know you have a boyfriend?!

The sudden realization of the possibility that you’ve said
nothing about him quakes Tendo to his soul. Mind racing to worst case scenarios
he feels faint, sitting down heavily on the ground and leaning against the
wall. Maybe he’s just a fool. Maybe you don’t really like him that much and
he’s just a rebound to get over Kise. Who was it that broke the relationship
off again? In his flustered brain, he can’t remember at the moment. You? Him?
Mutual breakup? Does it even really matter?

And what is he,
the “guess monster” compared to golden boy? Tendo doesn’t even play the sport
that made him infamous anymore and here you are, placed right back in front of
someone with fierce ambition and natural talent. A good-looking guy (hey, he
can admit it), taller than him (by only an inch but still) and so freaking sure
of himself. Not to mention his career as a model (really, what do you see in Tendo?), he’s probably filthy rich too.

The sound of the buzzer snaps him out of his haze, prompting
him to stand back up; the game has started. He looks back to your location,
eyes becoming sad when he realizes you’re completely absorbed in the game, not
even turning around to look for him; do you even notice he’s still gone?

Heaving a sigh, Tendo makes his way back down to your seats.
When he sits down, you flash a quick glance at him. “There you are! Did you get
lost or something?” you say teasingly elbowing his side.

Normally, he’d just grin or quip something back at you but
now he can’t help thinking you that you think he’s stupid. But you’re already
looking back at the court, not even noticing his face falling at your light-hearted
jab.

“Go Kise-kun, whoohoo!” you shout, fist up in the air. The
blonde smiles at you, sending a wink your direction and making the girls behind
you swoon. Again, Tendo can’t stop himself comparing you with him and you with
Kise; did you cheer this loudly for him as his
games?

“Aren’t they amazing?” you ask looking up at his face and
finally you see, something’s not right. “Satori-kun? Are you feeling ok? You
look a bit…green.”

Closing his eyes, Tendo takes in a deep breath. He can’t do
it. He can’t sit here and watch and hear you have such a good time cheering
for, encouraging and fawning over your ex-boyfriend; he just…can’t…do it.

Standing up again, he says briskly, “I’m gonna go, I was
right, this is boring me to tears.” His eyes are a little watery and you stand
up as well, grasping his wrist.

“Hey, wait a second, why- “

He wrenches his hand away, startling you as he snaps, “Just
let me go, huh? Have fun watching your golden boy!”

Completely caught off guard by his anger, you hastily
follow, apologizing to people as you trip over their legs in your haste to
catch up with your clearly upset boyfriend.

“Satori-kun, wait!” you call, rushing up and standing in
front of him, hands pushing against his chest to get him to stop moving. “What
on earth is the matter?!?”

You’re unprepared for the vitriolic tone of his voice when
he answers, “You! You’re what’s the matter! This whole, “date”, is what’s the
matter! How can you not know?!”

“Wait? You’re jealous of Kise-kun?” you ask bewildered. “Why
on earth would you be?”

“Oh, don’t give me that! The flirting, the cheering, how can
you stand there and pretend it doesn’t mean anything?!” he shouts.

“Because it doesn’t!” you yell right back. “Flirting? If
you’d take two second to really look you’d see that he was flirting with me
because that is what Kise-kun is! A flirt! That’s part of why I broke up with
him!”

Tendo blinks, dropping his arms and you take the opening,
stepping into his space and placing your hands on his cheeks, looking deep in
his eyes. “That’s one of the things I love most about you, Satori-kun,” you say more softly, “you treat me like I’m the
most important person on earth. Kise…Kise just didn’t know how to turn off. He was always making a scene
wherever we went because of fan girls, never thinking about how his behavior
was affecting me.”

Tendo feels his heart burning, ashamed he’d accused you of
what he did when you were the one who’d been treated unfairly by the blonde.
“Then…then why are you still friends with him?” he asks, finally reaching for
you, hands rested on your waist.

You sigh. “Because we’ve been friends since middle school.
We have a lot of history and even though he hurt me by his behavior I knew he
wasn’t being malicious, he’s just a dumb blonde sometimes.” Tendo snorts and
you grin up at him before going on, “But we had a pretty good friendship and I
guess I wasn’t willing to just throw that away because we’d made the poor
decision to date.”

Drawing you into his arms, Tendo rests his chin against your
head. Very softly you hear him say, “I’m sorry, _____-chan, I just…gosh it hurt
to watch that.”

He feels you nod against his chest. Pulling back, you angle
your head up, getting on tiptoes to kiss him gently. “I’m sorry I hurt you,”
you say.

He shakes his head. “Not your fault, it’s all my own stuff.”
Taking a deep breath, he says, “So, want me to finally get you those snacks and
we can go finish the game?”

You shake your head with a soft smile. “No, they’ll be playing again another
time, let’s just go.” Taking his hand in yours, the two of you make your way out of the arena.

I just finished reading that Tendo request you just did. UHG. MY FRAGIL HEART. Why you do this to me? I was squealing the whole time. I love him so much, and that only made me fangirl more than usual. Beautiful work. My god. I think I’m flustered. ♥(ノ´ ∀ `)

You are too sweet! That makes MY HEART fluttery knowing you loved it so much! Thank you for reading and taking time to let me know how much you enjoyed it, seriously, it makes me smile from ear to ear!
