May I have some headcanons on Kuroo having a female friend who’s only 5’2 and he likes to tease her about being so small in different ways? He likes annoying her and making her mad in a cute way as long as he doesn’t actually upset her but he really just has the biggest crush on her?

hq-cuties-pls:

Kuroo is a fucking nerd, we’ll fight you
~Admin Alyx (With a little help from Admin Emma)

  • He does that thing where he leans and rests his arm on her head. This always earns him the most unimpressed glare.
  • “Oh, _____, do you need help reaching that? I can get it for you if you want!”  This one backfired on him when she climbed up on the counter out of sheer stubbornness to retrieve her stuff and almost broke her neck getting down.
  • He’s also a huge fan of the classic “Oh, didn’t see you there!”
  • He tends to get headbutted in the sternum for that line, though, so he uses it sparingly.
  • On the flipside, he loves carrying her around on his shoulders–though he gets high key flustered by the feeling of her thighs around his head. He’s not trying to have his mind in the gutter, she’s just making it very difficult, okay?
  • He definitely has a whole slew of nicknames to make fun of her height, too.
  • Of course, she can give as good as she gets. The look on his face when she asked him what the weather was like up there was pretty priceless.
  • He does that thing on the train where he grabs the handhold in just a way so she can steady herself on his arm because he fancies himself a shoujo manga love interest but is, in fact, a huge nerd.
  • If he ever does take the teasing too far and actually upset her, he feels so bad. He goes way over the top trying to apologize and make it up to her. He probably gets a little carried away trying to explain how he actually likes her height, and subsequently gets all flustered and awkward.
  • A bonus of their height difference, for him, is that it makes it harder to notice the way he looks at her all the time.
  • He’s completely weak for hugging her. Her cheek is warm against his chest and he leans over to rest his head on top of hers, resisting the temptation to press a kiss there.
  • In general, he’ll make any excuse to get close to her. She’s just unbearably cute and he wants to cuddle her at all times.
  • If for any reason she ever ends up borrowing his shirt or jacket, he is high key compromised. He ends up staring straight up trying to hide how bright red his face is.

Cute Kuroo!!

can i just ask for iwaizumi, oikawa, bokuto, kuroo reacting to their gf, who’s a volleyball player/captain in them shorts. like, imagine these dorks.

hq-cuties-pls:

OMG Yes please!! This was fun to write. Enjoy!

~Admin Emma

Iwaizumi: He’s a fan of the fact that he can practice with you and talk about an important element of his life with you. He’s also an athletic guy, so having someone he can work out with and play with is just another element of fun. I’ve mentioned before that Iwaizumi is very much a leg man, and that is very true with those teeny tiny volleyball shorts. (Low key: he will bite your thighs sometimes where your shorts will definitely show them off. He does it on purpose, don’t let him fool you.)

Oikawa: One thing that he’s always had trouble with is finding people who understand him. So the fact that you can probably relate to his passion and his super busy schedule is huge for him. He likes to practice with you, he likes to cheer you on, and he definitely gives you pointers for how to improve. Sometimes, he’ll be a little mean and do “receiving practice” with his killer serves just to show off a bit, but for the most part, it’s just sort of a dream come true for him. He honestly doesn’t really pay attention to the shorts or your legs in them until much later, but that’s because on the court, he is serious, and that extends to his time with you there, as well.

Bokuto: Wow, he’s excited. Like, way too excited. He wants to do everything with you! He gets to go to meetings with the school just for captains, and he wants to compare notes at festivals and he wants to practice with you and he wants to set up training sessions with you and your teams… it gets a bit much. His favorite element, though, is the fact that he has someone to lean on when things get tough. You can be there for each other when the pressure starts getting to you both, and you both understand. You also help him with his moods, and he helps keep you in check.

Kuroo: Trash Talk Power Couple Aesthetic. You tease each other near constantly, shouting at each other on game days, teasing each other in classes, heckling each other at practices. It gets a little out of control some days, and Kenma doesn’t put up with it at all. Seriously, if the three of you are ever together, volleyball is banned as a topic. However, if you ever want to get back at Kuroo for his teasing, just slowly take off your track pants in front of him. He’s weak for your ass, and his brain won’t have enough space to come up with creative insults when his entire blood supply has flown south for the winter.

So funny and cute!

May I get a scenario for my sweet kitty Kenma and his female s/o(who’s similar in personality) are hanging out on a quiet Friday night just cuddling, gaming, watching movies, and just doing whatever with a few kisses here and there until the sun comes up and they finally fall asleep… Until everything changes when Kuroo and Bokuto attack wanting them to go out a hang with them?

hq-cuties-pls:

This was fun!! I finished that massive project I was working on, so now I’m actually working on requests. Shocker! Note: Himiko and Shinji are my OCs and they are Bokuto and Kuroo’s girlfriends respectively.

~Admin Emma

You and Kenma prided yourself on your Trash Master Suite, the name you’d lovingly given to your shared apartment when the two of you moved in together after college. It wasn’t dirty, per se. Just messy. But you knew where everything was. And you took out the trash and did dishes before the smell set in. It wasn’t like you were infested or anything. You just had better things to be doing with your time than keeping up a meticulous apartment that no one saw anyway. It was your little garbage dump haven. And you loved it.

It was finally the weekend. Kenma’s crunch time at the studio where he worked was finally over, and he was spending his first full night at home in a long time. You were also pretty wiped from work, and all you wanted was a quiet night in with your sweet, sweet boyfriend who was never home as much as you wanted him to be.

That night, you were lounging on the sofa in one of Kenma’s oversized t-shirts; he was sitting in front of the sofa on the floor, burrowed into his customary blanket burrito and concentrating intensely on one of his games. He’d already marathoned through Final Fantasy XV when it’d come out, but now he was playing the New Game Plus to try and 100% it, so it was mildly more relaxing. You assumed. Your unwind game was like, Pokemon Sun and Animal Crossing, but hey. To each their own. Besides, you were pretty absorbed in your manga and the Chocobo theme wasn’t bad background noise.

Then, everything changed when Kenma’s friends attacked.

Bokuto and Kuroo had a spare key to your apartment and, in hindsight, that was probably not a great idea, seeing as they didn’t much respect your boundaries in the first place. You and Kenma shot them matching glares when they burst through your front door.

“Wow, that’s spooky,” Bokuto said. “Some couples dress the same. You two just emote the same.”

“Did you need something, Bokuto-kun?” you grumbled. You didn’t mind all that much, really. You liked Bokuto and Kuroo a lot. But they were both in your apartment unannounced and they were both dressed to the nines, which could only mean they had something nefarious planned.

“Yikes, ____,” Kuroo said, but his smirk told you he wasn’t the least bit cowed by your cold demeanor. “We’re here to invite you out! And by ‘invite’ I mean ‘drag’ because we haven’t seen you and the girls miss you and we want to spend some time with you.”

“Really, Kuro?” Kenma asked, quirking his eyebrow. “My first night home with ____ in, like, six months and you want to drag us out? Really, Kuro?”

“Look, I get it,” Kuroo said. “You want to burrow into your blanket burrito and not emerge until your next assignment. I also know that the second you get really caught up in it, you won’t emerge for anything, and I’d like to spend a night with my best friend. It’s not like ____ isn’t invited, or anything.”

Kenma narrowed his eyes suspiciously, a move that made him look like that meme cat with the knife. You snickered under your breath.

“Where are we going?” Kenma asked.

“Just dinner and drinks,” Kuroo said, holding his hands out defensively. “If we feel up for it, maybe dancing, but I promise, just drinks and dinner for now.”

You nudged Kenma with your knee; “Drinks and dinner doesn’t sound bad. Especially if Kuroo-kun is paying.”

“Who said I’m paying?” Kuroo asked.

“You sort of did,” Bokuto said with a shrug. “But it’s not that big of a deal. Come on, Himiko-chan and Shinji-chan want to see you! We promise, it’ll be super low key!”

“Nothing is ever low key with you, Bokuto-kun,” you laughed. “But if Kenma’s in, I’m in.”

Kenma narrowed his eyes at you, trying to gauge how much you really wanted to go. You weren’t thrilled with the idea, but Bokuto and Kuroo’s earnestness was sort of infectious, and you knew that if you refused them, they would be genuinely crushed. You couldn’t handle Bokuto’s giant puppy eyes or that note of genuine hurt in Kuroo’s voice at the moment, so you decided to go along for the ride.

Worst case scenario, you came home a little drunk and a lot tired. There was still time to spend with Kenma.

Having found a satisfactory amount of enthusiasm in your expression, Kenma shrugged; “Alright. Let me get my shoes on and we’ll go.”

“Oh, no,” Kuroo said, steering Kenma away from the genkan towards the bathroom. “Change out of those ratty sweats. And wash your hair!”

“You said nothing about showering,” Kenma grumbled, and you had to laugh. Kenma avoided washing his hair like the damn plague–the bleach made it a little crusty if he didn’t deep condition every time.

“Kozume Kenma, so help me, if you don’t wash your nasty ass hair, I will do it for you!” Kuroo had his Dad Voice on. He broke it out so rarely, and it was usually only with Kenma and hygiene.

“Come on, babe,” you said, slipping your hand into his. “I’ll join you.”

“No hank or pank, kids!” Kuroo shouted. “The girls are waiting!”

You led Kenma down the hall to the bathroom, sweeping his baggy t-shirt off over his head. You smoothed your hands over his chest, delighting in the pleased little shiver that ran down his spine at your touch. He gently cradled your jaw, smoothing his thumb over the swell of your cheek,

“I wanted to spend tonight with you,” he grumped.

“You had to know that as soon as your crunch time was done, those two would be all over you,” you said, starting up the shower. “This way, we get it out of the way, they buy us dinner, and we have the rest of the week just the two of us. It’s a win-win.”

“Yeah, yeah,” he sighed, getting the claw clip to hold his hair in place during the conditioning step. “I want to stop at that bakery on our way home.”

“The late night one? With the mini tarte tatins?” He nodded and you had to laugh. Leave it to Kenma’s sweet tooth to motivate him. “Anything you want, babe. I love you.”

He grinned softly, nuzzling your temple with his nose, which was Kenma-speak for ‘love you too.’

Emma this is sooooooo cute!!!

You Have Something on Your Face (Daichi x Reader Birthday Fic for Jade)

imagine-that-haikyuu:

A day belated, but most definitely not forgotten! Happy birthday to our dear friend Jade from @vball-baes-bball-babes! I hope you had a great day and enjoy some domestic Daichi fluff!

– Admin Rachel Lauren

Ko-Fi

“I’m home!”

Daichi enters the apartment, greeted by the sound of your “Welcome home!” from another room. In the distance, he also hears the sound of water rushing from a faucet, followed shortly by a clank of glasses and a string of curses from you. Then a sigh of relief.

“Dishes, huh?” he calls before entering the kitchen. You’ve both broken glasses and plates while washing them before, no thanks to them slipping from your hands and crashing back into the sink. Your sigh convinces him that your kitchenware survived the fall this time. “Need any help?”

“Nope, almost done,” you call over your shoulder. There’s something about the sunlight streaming from the window over the sink that always makes you look picture perfect from this angle. He could sit and stare for a while if you’d allow it.

“I can hand dry what’s on the rack.”

“The towels are all wet, and uh, on the floor.”

Daichi now catches sight of the hand towels laid out on the floor. He can’t see the front of your shirt, but he doesn’t really need to in order to figure it out. The large pan on the drying rack clues him in; the dishes aren’t the only thing that were sprayed.

“Let me guess: the floor needs to be washed too anyway?” he teases before joining you at the sink. He always liked that you’re not particularly bothered by minor inconveniences.

“How did you know?” you ask with a wide, cheesy grin. It’s so small, but he loves when the two of you have these playful moments. There’s no explanation as to why his heart swells with joy and love at times like these. Maybe the only explanation is love.

You place the last glass on the drying rack and turn to him. “And done.” You peel off the rubber gloves off and drape them over the faucet. Daichi observes for a moment as you bring your hands to your face and sniff. “Ugh, it’s gonna take forever to get the rubber smell off.”

You pull them back and grimace at them for a second.

“You have something on your face,” Daichi says.

“Soap maybe?” you say, confused as cups your face and examines your features. He doesn’t answer. Instead he presses his lips to yours. It only catches you off-guard for a moment; Daichi pulls moves like this often enough that you’re used to it. You hum in delight regardless because it’s still just as sweet as all the other times.

He pulls away, smiling. Thumbs caress your cheeks as you bring your own hands up to meet his. “Nope, it was me.”

“Well, thank goodness for that.” You let him bask in your presence a little more. He’s caught up in taking you in, only noticing peripherally but not registering that you’ve opened a nearby drawer and removed a fresh hand towel. You press it to his chest. “Now, get drying.”

And he does, but not without stealing another kiss.

Rachel Lauren I love this!!! It’s so sweet and cute and honestly my husband would totally do something like this so it was extra special to me.

Thank you so very much for taking time (especially when you weren’t feeling well) to write me such a wonderful present.

Haikyuu Father’s Day Headcanons

I woke up feeling domestic today so in honor of Father’s Day I put together some random headcanons for some of the Haikyuu boys. I hope you enjoy them and happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Karasuno

Daichi has been teased for being the “dad’ of his group for years so it’s no surprise he takes to fatherhood officially like a fish to water. He is the king of shoulder rides and tickle fights.

Sugawara is the best at bedtime stories, often coming up with “multi-chapter” renditions he continues one night after the other. It’s his ploy to get the kids to bed. “Well, if you want to know what happens to Marxa and Meddy, listen to your mother and get ready for bed.” Works. Every. Time.

Asahi cried when his daughter – the first born – came into the world. He couldn’t help it, she was just so tiny and perfect and a piece of you and him that he was overwhelmed. He was a bit afraid to hold her at first but once that sweet bundle was nestled in his arms it was over for him; he didn’t know he could love two people with an equal level of devotion in such different ways.

Tanaka loves all that being a dad entails. He’s there for his kids first bike ride, roller skate fall, getting stuck in a tree and needing daddy to save them. He chases away monsters from under the bed or in the closet and is always the first to kiss a boo boo and make it feel better. He’s their hero.

Nishinoya’s energy is able to keep up with his brood – four kids – rather well. He loves “tagfest” the most, running through the park as his kids squeal with glee and “daddy, catch me” sounding over the fields.

Ennoshita documents every little bit of his children’s lives that he can, for posterity (and a little practice). But he makes sure to set the camera down and actually be in the moment with them, frequently caught off guard when he’s editing later to find his wife sneakily grabbed the camera and got some scenes with him as the main star.

Kinoshita is the best breakfast maker and loves doing it with his kids. They make a mess of the kitchen but the end results are usually delicious. They horse around a bit during the cleaning and it’s a bit loud but the job gets done.

Narita enjoys reading with his kids. They’ll pile on his lap either in bed or on the couch and he’ll pop open the book of the day, reading aloud and doing voices and sound effects much to his children’s delight.

Kageyama wasn’t sure at first if he wanted children, afraid he wouldn’t be suited for the roll of “dad”. But once he does have them he does well. Unsurprisingly, when they’re old enough, he’s the first to encourage them to try out volleyball but if they don’t want to, he doesn’t love them any less. He just tries to understand whatever they are in to.

Hinata is another energy filled dad, able to play for hours with his kids without seeming to break a sweat. He’s frequently seen with his “little crows” at official matches, swelling with pride whenever he hears squeals of encouragement whenever he scores.

Tsukishima tried to be firm in regards to keeping his kid out of his and his wife’s bedroom; that is their sanctuary. But when his little girl came crying during a loud and violent storm, he simply lifted her up, kissed her cheek, laid her between himself and her mother and snuggled away her fears.

Yamaguchi frequently plans playdates for his kids and those of his former teammates, usually on Sunday mornings or afternoons when most of – if not all – of them are available to get together. Occasionally they’ll go to an amusement park or zoo or some place similar but most of the time the dates consist of the dads chatting over simple sandwiches while their children run about a park and play together.

Ukai wasn’t sure he wanted kids since taking care of his “little rascals” was already so exhausting but eventually he decides he does want to and when he does he’s never lacking for willing babysitters, all of “his boys” from that first year of him coaching offering their help to raise his twin boys.

Aobajosai

Oikawa loves taking his two little twin girls shopping. Buying them cute, matching outfits just makes his day. They have way too many, but that doesn’t stop him from doing it. When they get older, they’re more resistant to it but will make sure to go at least once a year – on Father’s Day – and let their dad pick something for them.

Iwaizumi enjoys cooking and his Father’s Day tradition with his kids is finding a traditional dish – either from their country or another – and trying it out together. Whether it comes out right or they like it or not, it’s the experience of cooking together that they love. And if it doesn’t come out right, they just order take out.

Matsukawa frequently tortures his children when they are older with typical dad jokes, especially around their significant others when they start dating.

Hanamaki likes to do family outings / experiences with his kids on Father’s Day rather than have them buy him stuff he doesn’t really need. One year, when they were in middle school, he planned a volunteer day at a local shelter. At the end of the day he said, “Now that you have some of an idea of what it takes to take care of a dog, do you still want one?” When they all agree they did he told them to work together to pick one to take home.

Yahaba spends time with his kids doing art projects. They want to color? He’ll color with them. Paint? It’ll be outside with drop cloth and smocks but sure, why not? Sidewalk chalk and hopscotch? He’s there. Watching his kids be creative is one of his greatest joys.

Watari’s kids love to snuggle with him. They’ll crawl in his lap to watch a movie or beg him to lay with them during nap time when he’s home.

Kindaichi is rather competitive so he has to watch himself whenever he plays games with his kids not to get too into it. He won’t just let them win, though. They have to learn the agony of defeat, even in Mario Kart.

Kunimi – because of his dislike for loud, energetic beings – struggled through his kids toddler and young childhood years. He was there for them but it was a tough go. He does exceptionally well during the latter school years frequently being a source of help for them during homework time.

Kyotani is – unsurprisingly – fiercely protective of his kids. He can be a bit harsh with them but his attitude has mellowed out and they know above all else that he loves them. God help the boy who tries to date his daughter.

Nekoma

Kuroo is also fond of the dad jokes or science puns and frequently uses them to diffuse arguments with his kids, either between each other or with him.

Kenma – shockingly – loves playing video games with his kids. His proudest moment was when his son asked for his own PSP for his birthday.

Yamamoto, when they are old enough, teaches his daughters self defense to protect themselves from the numerous boys he just knows will be after them. They roll their eyes but do as told, teasing him with tidbits uncle Kuroo and Yaku told them about his own high school days. This only encourages him to increase the training, must to their chagrin.

Kai is the party planner for his kids’ birthday parties, taking whatever theme they want that year to the extreme and creating a wonderful experience for their guests and themselves.

Yaku loves baking with his kids. He’s always finding new recipes to try and they laugh their way through techniques they don’t understand, learning as they go and eating the fruits of their labor. After clean up, they go for a run or bike ride together to “burn off the sugar” before crashing for a nap.

Inuoka does finger puppet shows for his kids. He lets them make the characters out of arts and craft supplies then uses a stage box he built himself to put on productions for them. Sometimes they write the stories together and sometimes he makes it up for them to simply enjoy.

Lev is a master of hide and seek and his kids frequently challenge him in it. When his youngest managed to hide for over an hour it prompted him to put trackers on them, linked to their mother’s cell phone so he can’t cheat.

Other Team Favorites

Bokuto gives the best “horsey” rides, willing to get down on all fours and properly run about and buck, his children squealing with joy as they ride. It usually ends with Bokuto collapsed on the grass and his kids piling on top of him in fits of giggles.

Akaashi is a master at getting his babies to sleep. He rocks them gently, trailing his fingers over their forehead and down their eyelids prompting them to close. When they’re asleep, he lays them in their crib and watches them sleep for a little, a soft smile on his face.

Aone is a human jungle gym for his kids. They love to climb all over him, hanging from his strong arms or neck. They also love to wrestle with him, frequently ganging up to try to take him down. Aone just smiles quietly through it all, enjoying the time playing with his kids.

Koganegawa is just as entertained as his children watching animated movies. On Saturday nights, they cuddle together on the couch with snacks and drinks, pulling out of a hat what movie they’re going to watch from their massive collection.

Ushijima struggled in the beginning of fatherhood due to the unpredictability of children; babies in particular. But once he got the hang of the basics, he began to enjoy the experience more. The first time his son cuddled up and fell asleep on his chest he was a lost man; fatherhood, he decided, was the best thing to ever happen to him.

Semi is the dad whose kids can talk to him about and tell him anything. He takes their opinions, thoughts, ideas, worries, fears, arguments all in stride, allowing them to have their say (respectfully, there is no reason to be rude and it just makes you look stupid). When they’re done, he offers his advice, opinion or answer depending on the nature of the discussion. They may not always like what he says but they respect him because he respects them.

Tendo was quite nervous to have children to be honest. Would they like him? Would they think he was scary? Then, his daughter was born and all his fears melted. He might have shed a few tears, but he’ll never admit it. He gets her into manga when she’s older and the two of them will spend hours fanboy/girling over their favorites.

MBTI: ENFJ Fun loving curvy gal. Eyes and hair both brown. Wears glasses. Adores dogs and other fluffy creatures. Loves to read, write and watch my fave shows (mostly anime). Kind hearted, mom-like to my friends and protective. Enjoy baking and cooking, and while I love spending time with friends and family, I’m mostly a homebody. Straight. I go by Jade for all things online. I’d love a match up for Yowamushi Pedal, KNB and Haikyu! Thank you!!

sportsotomematchups:

For Yowamushi Pedal I ship you with Shinkai Hayato!

Shinkai is in love with his pet rabbit so would appreciate you liking fluffy animals. I think he’d really get along with someone who’s motherly and would probably tease you a bit. He’d also like watching you be protective and although he doesn’t like to admit it, it makes him feel secure and loved. Unlike a few of the other characters *cough*Manami*cough* he wouldn’t mind staying at home with you and watching your favourite shows since he just loves spending time with you.

For KNB I ship you with Kiyoshi Teppei!

Kiyoshi is a soft ball of fluff but when it comes to basketball he doesn’t know his limits, so I think your protective and motherly attitude would suit him a lot. He would love to eat your cooking and bake with you and since he’s not picky with his food, he’ll eat anything. I think he’d also love staying at home with you because he’s just more comfortable showing a lot of affection away from prying eyes.

For Haikyuu I ship you with Kenma!

Kenma is a complete homebody so he’d prefer staying at home and watching tv shows over going out. He’s also very reserved and holds back with his emotions so I think your personality would help him open up. He would appreciate your protectiveness, especially because he would generally ignore what people say about him to avoid getting hurt and it would cheer him up to see you standing up for him.

Other Matches: Sawamura Daichi, Tadokoro Jin.

Oh my goodness I love all of this!

Kiyoshi is one of my fave babes! His voice is just, so smooth and I love how much of a silly teddy bear he is!

The VA for Shinkai and Daichi is one of my absolute favorites (I have a thing for voices apparently) and I freaking love love love Daichi so that is a fun other option.

I’ve never been matched with Kenma before but I like your interpretation and totally agree with you reasoning. He’s so sweet and needs to be taken care of. Kuroo and I can be buddies too!

Also Shinakai is such a tender heart and I think we’d get along great!

Thank you so much for these!

Ushijima – Let the man speak

ASK:From the sentence and Drabble prompts, can I get “You look…” “Beautiful, I know. Can we move on?” With Ushijima with a reader who hates dressing up? Thanks! You’re the bomb!

Thank you so much! I’m so sorry this took me forever to get done but I really hope you like it!

The bra pokes and the material is clingy and why can’t you just get away with wearing a simply nice shirt and skirt?! But no, your mother insisted on buying you a new ridiculous dress that “enhances your features”. You know this is a special evening for Wakatoshi, there’s no denying it but do you really have to get this dressed up?

“_______! Wakatoshi is here!”

You groan, take one last look in the mirror. Your hair is done and you’re wearing so much makeup you wonder if he’ll even recognize you.

One last shift of the bodice then you’re taking slow measured steps so as not to trip over the front of the dress.

You round the corner to find Wakatoshi standing by the door decked out in a full suit.

Ok, so maybe your mom was right.

As you make your way towards him he says, “You look-”

Beautiful, I know. Can we move on?

He tilts his head. “That wasn’t what I was going to say.”

“Oh.” You can’t manage to keep a hurt tone from your voice. Granted, you feel exceptionally awkward and would be the last person to admit you think you look good but you thought maybe at least he-

Wakatoshi’s deep voice breaks into your downward spiral. “You look ethereal.”

His hand lifts yours to his lips, a delicate kiss planted to its back and you blush furiously.

But with a smile.

Show Me How You Feel (Tsukishima/Reader – NSFW Commission)

imagine-that-haikyuu:

Wow, sorry these commissions are taking so long, but here’s the second request of the bunch. They asked for Tsukishima and a swimmer!reader who share an intimate first time together after Tsukki remembers some unwanted advice from his former volleyball teammates. (Characters are aged up, for obvious reasons)

– Admin Rachel Lauren

Commissions | Ko-Fi

Tsukishima swears he can hear your giggle at this very moment. That would be impossible, though, considering you’re nowhere near the gymnasium now. It’s only one of the managers laughing. At what though, he can’t say. He shouldn’t even be thinking about that or you right now, yet he still can’t shake the thought.

“Tsukishima. It’s your serve.”

Maybe it would have been better to have not watched the end of your practice the other day. He knows that’s a lie. Either way, you’d still be messing around with your teammates. Even seated high above the indoor pool, Tsukishima could see the flirtatious glint in one boy’s eyes as you playfully elbowed him.

“Tsukishima? Hello?”

Rachel Lauren this is amazing!!! I’ve missed your writing so much and you knocked it out of the park with this one!

Every character was on point! I loved the whole team discussion, so so perfect!

And the mix of tender, vulnerable but still snarky Tsukishima is wonderful.

It’s got just the right level of awkward to feel believable and beautiful!

Well, well done!!
