It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to request anything from a writing blog ;) I saw in your rules that you accept AUs, so I was wondering if I could possibly get a reader/Kuroo zombie apocalypse AU scenario? Maybe something along the lines of them being in the school when the outbreak hits and now they need to find their way out to survive.

Ok, I have no idea if this is what you were hoping for
because it’s kind of open ended but nevertheless I hope you enjoy! WARNING
mention of deaths for beloved characters (briefly but still fair warning). Nothing
overtly graphic.

The incessant banging on the gym door should have been a
clue that all is not right. Casting a glance at Kuroo, the tall bed head
captain being the last to leave with you after practice, you stride to the door
and open it. Standing before you is Yamamoto, his head hung, grasping the
side of the building.

“Yamamoto-san?” you ask reaching forward to touch him but
when he whips his head up you scream.

The sound of your terror draws Kuroo’s attention back to
you, his eyes widening as he watches you back away from the second-year ace. He
can see, even from this distance, something is terribly wrong. Yamamoto is
grunting, his voice a dry heave of sound and his neck…his neck has a huge gash
in it, blood trailing down.

As he reaches for you, Kuroo acts on instinct, tossing up a
ball and spiking it perfectly into his head making him fall over temporarily.

The impact makes you scream again but it does its job of
snapping you out of the horror haze his dead eyes held you in though you’re
still just standing there. In front of you, Kuroo can see more students, along
with some faculty, walking towards your location. It’s like all his wildest
nightmares coming true and he’s in fight or flight mode.

Surging forward, he shoves Yamamoto, or at least what used to be him, back into the courtyard,
slamming the door and bolting it. The pounding on the door echoes through the
large empty room and you cover your ears, crouching down to drown out the
sound, murmuring, “No, no, no…this isn’t real…wake up…wake up…wake up!” You’re
screaming the words now, overrun with panic but it all comes to a grinding halt
when you feel a sharp sting against your cheek.

Turning your face back to Kuroo, you can see he’s still got
his hand cross his body from slapping you. He drops to his knees, grabbing your
face between his hands and kisses your forehead swiftly. “I’m sorry, but you
can’t panic right now, we need to get to safety,” he says. Quickly, he stands
again, grabbing your hand and yanking you towards the door that leads to the
storage room where a ladder to the roof access point resides.

Grabbing his phone, Kuroo selects Kenma’s number.

“Kenma, where are you?”

“On the train, why?” asks the setter.

Briefly Kuroo recounts what happens and the noises he can
still hear outside as he shimmies up the ladder, pushing with all his might to
open the locked door. Casting a glance at you, he moves the phone away from his
ear to ask, “Do you have the key?”

“The key to what?” he hears Kenma ask as you shake your head
and he goes back to the conversation.

“Not you, y/n and I are trying to get to the roof. Don’t get
off the train, tell the engineer not to stop and just get the fuck out of here.
Something bad is going down and it’s only going to get worse.”

“Stop joking around Kuroo,” Kenma dead pans but winces when
Kuroo shouts in the phone.

“Do I sound like I’m fucking joking?”

“Well, yeah, because you usually do,” he replies.

“Here, talk to y/n while I try to get this damn door open,
maybe she can convince you.”

You take the phone, your shaky voice affirming everything
Kuroo just said to Kenma. But as you’re talking you hear the train call its
next stop, the doors opening and loud screams coming from all around Kenma.

“What the hel-“you hear then he shouts, his voice louder
than you’ve ever heard it.

“Kenma? Kenma?” you yell but it’s no use, in his haste to
get away from whatever is happening he must have dropped his phone because all
you can hear is a cacophony of noise consisting of shrieks of terror, a low
rumbling and curses from people as they are attacked.

You feel your stomach lurch when Kenma’s voice comes through
the fray, screaming out that he’s sorry and that he loves you both. The line
goes dead and you throw up into the mop pail. From above you hear Kuroo
breathing hard, both in exertion and emotion, knowing that you were an auditory
witness to his best friend’s death.

Finally, the door snaps open, a cool rush of night air
descending. Reaching down, Kuroo hauls you up the ladder, pulling you onto the
roof with him.

All around you can see others who have done the same, barricading
themselves on the roofs until some sort of help arrives; presuming any can. Kuroo
pulls the ladder up, dropping it to the ground and slams the door shut. With a
moment to breathe, to think, he collapses to his knees, screaming out in agony
at the loss of his friends and most likely his family. He’s seen the movies,
knows the odds and they aren’t good.

Kneeling beside him, you touch his back, startled when he
draws you into a fierce hug, face buried in your neck as you both cry. How can
any of this be real? Sniffling, Kuroo looks up, wiping his face on his shirt, a
new grim determination setting in his eyes.

“We’re going to survive, y/n,” he says lowly, hand cupping
your face. Overcome with emotion, he kisses you, whispering against your lips, “I
hate that it takes this for me to tell you I love you. How fucking cliche is that?
But it’s true and I’m not gonna let us die.”

You believe him, despite the sounds of screams surrounding
you, despite the very likelihood that you’re going to die on this roof top if
you can’t get food or water; you believe him. Because you have to believe in
something and the scheming captain is your best bet.

Clutching his shirt, you look in his eyes. “I know you won’t
and…I love you too.”

The distant sound of helicopters draws both your attention to
the sky and a flicker of hope arises in your heart; for now, you can get away
from here and everything else…you’ll just have to wait and see.

Kasamatsu accidentally throwing a basketball at Yachi’s head and getting all flustered when he sees how cute she is? ((Possibly with Kise teasing him at the side ohoho)) I think those two would be so cute together ahh

They would be too cute! Thanks for the request, I hope you like it!

The street-ball tournament is getting more intense, each team
getting more riled up to win. What would one expect with a park full of
testosterone? Faking back, Kasamatsu assesses his options, turning around
quickly to pass the ball only to have it smacked out of his hands. Rushing
forward, he slaps the ball back but it goes too far to the right and instead of
heading back to his teammate’s hands it’s on a crash course with some girl’s head!

“Look out!” the captain yells, the blonde dodging just in
time with a startled scream escaping her lips.

As the ball is being retrieved, Kasamatsu makes his way to
the her, eyebrows furrowed in concern. “Are you ok? Sorry about-“his voice
fails when he sees how cute she is. Dressed in a short-pleated skirt and
collared shirt, her shiny hair pulled to one side in a ponytail he can’t stop
staring at her, mouth open slightly, his eyes wide.

Yachi’s own wide eyes look back at the intense captain, her
knees clattering together.

“Hai…I…I’m fine,” she stammers finally breaking Kasamatsu
out of his haze, “I should have…been paying attention.”

He frowns making her jump, but before he can correct her Kise
pipes in, “Geez, Kasamatsu-senpai, if you wanted to meet a girl you didn’t have
to frighten her into talking to you!”

“Shut up, Kise!” he shouts, whirling around to kick his ace
in the behind, his cheeks blazing red.

Okay. I’m going to do it. Let’s have Tendo being the new boyfriend of the reader, and while they’re on a date, they meet by accident with Ryota, her ex boyfriend. Like, Tendo goes for 5 mins, and when he returns he’s already talking with his gf and Tendo knows perfectly who he is. Give me some jealous Tendo pleeeease hahaha

So this came out a bit more…angsty and while there is
jealousy it blends more to insecurity which I guess is something that breeds
jealousy. Either way, I hope you like it and thanks for adhering to my call
out! 😊

“Thanks for coming with me Satori-kun! It’s always so much
more fun having someone to go to games with,” you say taking his hand and
squeezing. The red head returns your smile though his is a bit more strained.
He knows you’re a friendly person, good with people and generally the complete
opposite of himself, but he wonders not for the first time why on earth you’re
coming to your ex-boyfriend’s
basketball game? As far as dates go, this one must be on the bottom of his list
of favorites. Scratch that, it’s not even going on the list! He knows he
shouldn’t care, that he can trust you, but when he’d heard where you were going
and who you were going to see, he couldn’t stop himself from saying he would
take you.

The gym is full, basketball fans as far as the eye can see,
pumped and ready for the Winter Cup to begin. Tendo has never had any interest
in the game. A bunch of tall, sweaty guys running back and forth lazily
shooting a ball into a basket? Boring!

“Just you wait and see,” you’d commented when he’d said as
much to you in the train on your way to the arena, “These teams are anything
but boring.”

As you take your seats, rather close to the court he notices
and figures someone must have
arranged for you to have such a good vantage point on, of course, Kaijo High’s
side, Tendo realizes he forgot to take you to the snack stand. Looking at the
time, he figures he can make it there and back before tipoff. Not that he
really cares but he is trying to for your sake; it’s not your fault he’s
bitter, that’s his own issue to deal with.

“I’ll be right back,” he says standing, “gonna go get us
some snacks. Gotta make this trip worthwhile somehow and greasy, sugary arena
food is the way to do it.” He smirks down at you, ruffling your hair and kissing
your pout before leaving.

It takes him a bit longer than he anticipated and he misses
seeing the teams’ entrances catching them on the TV screens scattered
throughout the hallways. What he doesn’t
miss is the roar of the crowd, particularly the squealing screams of the girls
as Kise Ryota, the literal golden boy of Kaijo’s team, makes his way onto the
court. Nearing the front of the line, he’s assessing the menu choices when a
question of, “I wonder who that girl is that Kise is so interested in?” catches
his attention.

Looking back at the screens, his pulse pounds in his ears as
he watches the blonde lean into your space, his face exceptionally to close to
yours and your smile a bit too bright for his liking. Gritting his teeth and
forgetting all about his reason for being where he is, he rushes out of line.

Coming down the stairs, he can see Kise still talking to
you, mouth opening in a laugh, his eyes squinting in mirth at whatever you
said. Tendo clenches his fists unable to stop another type of monster of the green-eyed
variety from emerging. Just who does this guy think he is, touching you like
that! Wait, touching?!

Sure enough, Kise’s hand is on your shoulder, his thumb
tracing back and forth and Tendo can feel his eyes narrowing, a deep inhale of
irritation filling his lungs. Doesn’t he know you have a boyfriend?!

The sudden realization of the possibility that you’ve said
nothing about him quakes Tendo to his soul. Mind racing to worst case scenarios
he feels faint, sitting down heavily on the ground and leaning against the
wall. Maybe he’s just a fool. Maybe you don’t really like him that much and
he’s just a rebound to get over Kise. Who was it that broke the relationship
off again? In his flustered brain, he can’t remember at the moment. You? Him?
Mutual breakup? Does it even really matter?

And what is he,
the “guess monster” compared to golden boy? Tendo doesn’t even play the sport
that made him infamous anymore and here you are, placed right back in front of
someone with fierce ambition and natural talent. A good-looking guy (hey, he
can admit it), taller than him (by only an inch but still) and so freaking sure
of himself. Not to mention his career as a model (really, what do you see in Tendo?), he’s probably filthy rich too.

The sound of the buzzer snaps him out of his haze, prompting
him to stand back up; the game has started. He looks back to your location,
eyes becoming sad when he realizes you’re completely absorbed in the game, not
even turning around to look for him; do you even notice he’s still gone?

Heaving a sigh, Tendo makes his way back down to your seats.
When he sits down, you flash a quick glance at him. “There you are! Did you get
lost or something?” you say teasingly elbowing his side.

Normally, he’d just grin or quip something back at you but
now he can’t help thinking you that you think he’s stupid. But you’re already
looking back at the court, not even noticing his face falling at your light-hearted
jab.

“Go Kise-kun, whoohoo!” you shout, fist up in the air. The
blonde smiles at you, sending a wink your direction and making the girls behind
you swoon. Again, Tendo can’t stop himself comparing you with him and you with
Kise; did you cheer this loudly for him as his
games?

“Aren’t they amazing?” you ask looking up at his face and
finally you see, something’s not right. “Satori-kun? Are you feeling ok? You
look a bit…green.”

Closing his eyes, Tendo takes in a deep breath. He can’t do
it. He can’t sit here and watch and hear you have such a good time cheering
for, encouraging and fawning over your ex-boyfriend; he just…can’t…do it.

Standing up again, he says briskly, “I’m gonna go, I was
right, this is boring me to tears.” His eyes are a little watery and you stand
up as well, grasping his wrist.

“Hey, wait a second, why- “

He wrenches his hand away, startling you as he snaps, “Just
let me go, huh? Have fun watching your golden boy!”

Completely caught off guard by his anger, you hastily
follow, apologizing to people as you trip over their legs in your haste to
catch up with your clearly upset boyfriend.

“Satori-kun, wait!” you call, rushing up and standing in
front of him, hands pushing against his chest to get him to stop moving. “What
on earth is the matter?!?”

You’re unprepared for the vitriolic tone of his voice when
he answers, “You! You’re what’s the matter! This whole, “date”, is what’s the
matter! How can you not know?!”

“Wait? You’re jealous of Kise-kun?” you ask bewildered. “Why
on earth would you be?”

“Oh, don’t give me that! The flirting, the cheering, how can
you stand there and pretend it doesn’t mean anything?!” he shouts.

“Because it doesn’t!” you yell right back. “Flirting? If
you’d take two second to really look you’d see that he was flirting with me
because that is what Kise-kun is! A flirt! That’s part of why I broke up with
him!”

Tendo blinks, dropping his arms and you take the opening,
stepping into his space and placing your hands on his cheeks, looking deep in
his eyes. “That’s one of the things I love most about you, Satori-kun,” you say more softly, “you treat me like I’m the
most important person on earth. Kise…Kise just didn’t know how to turn off. He was always making a scene
wherever we went because of fan girls, never thinking about how his behavior
was affecting me.”

Tendo feels his heart burning, ashamed he’d accused you of
what he did when you were the one who’d been treated unfairly by the blonde.
“Then…then why are you still friends with him?” he asks, finally reaching for
you, hands rested on your waist.

You sigh. “Because we’ve been friends since middle school.
We have a lot of history and even though he hurt me by his behavior I knew he
wasn’t being malicious, he’s just a dumb blonde sometimes.” Tendo snorts and
you grin up at him before going on, “But we had a pretty good friendship and I
guess I wasn’t willing to just throw that away because we’d made the poor
decision to date.”

Drawing you into his arms, Tendo rests his chin against your
head. Very softly you hear him say, “I’m sorry, _____-chan, I just…gosh it hurt
to watch that.”

He feels you nod against his chest. Pulling back, you angle
your head up, getting on tiptoes to kiss him gently. “I’m sorry I hurt you,”
you say.

He shakes his head. “Not your fault, it’s all my own stuff.”
Taking a deep breath, he says, “So, want me to finally get you those snacks and
we can go finish the game?”

You shake your head with a soft smile. “No, they’ll be playing again another
time, let’s just go.” Taking his hand in yours, the two of you make your way out of the arena.

Can I send one more? ._. How about Daichi, Kiyoshi, Ushijima, Otsubo, Lev, and Tendou reacting to their s/o asking them to watch their very young sibling (maybe 2ish) while they (the s/o) runs to the store? (They basically are like, “it’ll only take 30min tops!”

“Can you watch them while I run to the store? I’ll only be
gone 30 minutes, tops!” Your boyfriend isn’t given time to protest as you hurry
out the door.

Daichi: Used to looking after those younger and more
immature than himself, Daichi takes this announcement in stride. When the rambunctious
two-year-old gets too out of control, Daichi uses his “captain’s voice” to get
them to pay attention. You return to find them snuggled on the couch watching
cartoons peacefully and decide then and there you’re going to marry that boy;
he’ll be a great father someday.

Kiyoshi: This soft love muffin will be overwhelmed, or rather
overrun, rather quickly. Not in that he thinks he can’t handle the task, but
simply for the fact that he’ll bend to their will over everything since he’s so
tenderhearted. He ends up having to call Hyuga for help who berates him for not
having a firmer hand.

Ushijima: One you’re out the door, your sibling is already
crying but Ushijima is never one to get flustered. “Do you want something to
eat?” Still crying. “Do you want to watch something?” Still crying. “Maybe a
nap is what you need.” Even more crying. Eventually the kid is given a snack
which they eat sniffling as they watch their favorite cartoon before snuggling
up in Ushijima’s arms and falling asleep. He looks down at the slumbering
toddler wondering why people always say babysitting is so hard.

Otsubo: Another male ready to handle any challenge, he sets
his sight on making the most of this opportunity. “Do you want to learn how to
shoot?” he asks. He’ll take the kid to their room, undoubtedly equipped with
some sort of childish basketball hoop and ball, spending the time showing them
proper form even though they’re so small. You’ll return to find a beaming
sibling, proudly showing how they can shoot a three pointer and “dunk” when
Ostubo picks them up so they can slam the ball through the hoop. Talk about
swoon worthy!

Lev: This overgrown child panics, stammering out that he
doesn’t really think he’s fit for this and you really should just let him go to
the store and…you’re gone. Sighing, he eyes the sibling warily and they, like a
dog who can sense fear, take full advantage of his inexperience. Lev is the younger sibling and so has no idea
about how to do this. It doesn’t take long for them to blackmail him into
giving them extra candy, the resulting sugar rush only adding fuel to this
rapidly out of control situation. As he chases the hyper active child and tries
to get them down from the bookshelf he can’t help wondering if this is pay back
for the hard time he gave his sister when they were growing up.

Tendo: Both he and your sibling are protesting your exit. He
because he doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of a kid and your
sibling because they don’t want to be left alone with the monster. Ignoring both
their pleas, you head out calling over your shoulder that they’ll be fine. When
silence descends after your exit the two of them look at each other. “Agreement
to not cause each other trouble?” asks your boyfriend. They look at him in
confusion. Sighing, he places them on the couch, turns on the TV and says, “Just
sit quietly until she gets back.” Surprisingly, they listen and Tendo thinks
maybe this kid thing isn’t as bad as he thought.

Okay! For the crossover, could I get a reader insert where the megane boys (Midorima and Tsukki) have a crush on the same girl?

Thanks for the request, I actually had quite a bit of fun with this one and can only hope I captured their personalities well enough.

Stepping up to the counter, Midorima is just about to open
his mouth when you say, “Tall latte, triple shot, dark with no foam and extra
sugar.” He blinks at your cheeky expression, suppressing a grin when you
whisper, “I won’t tell anyone you like it so sweet,” then wink. The wink is
enough to get his cheeks heating up but he quickly recovers, thanking you and
paying.

“Strawberry short cake shake,” the next customer orders simply.

Midorima spares a sideways glance at the male, eyes
narrowing slightly. This kid is always here at the same time as him. He notices
that he drops a rather sizable tip into your jar, waving away your protests
and saying, “Like I don’t know you need it.” Appalled at his candor, Midorima looks
at you but you’re chuckling, playfully whipping the towel from over your
shoulder at the teasing male.

Tsukishima moves on, taking a seat at his usual table near
the window, opening his homework and getting down to business. Midorima,
meanwhile, sits at his normal location ensconced in a wingback chair set in the
corner facing out towards the room, a book in one hand and his perfectly
prepared latte in the other. His eyes follow over the edge of his book as you
walk out the blonde’s order, smiling down at him and placing a piece of chocolate
cake on the table.

He’s close enough to hear you explain, “You gave too much
tip, this is my way of saying thank you.”

Gritting his teeth, Midorima tries to focus on his book,
startled slightly when you suddenly appear before him. Since when were people
able to sneak up on him?

“Excuse me? Sorry to bother you, but I made just a little
too much of another latte and wondered if you’d like a top up?” He looks to the
coffee carafe in your hand. At his nod, you lean forward, pouring the contents of
the pot into his cup. Standing back up, you offer a bright smile and nod of
your own before going back behind the counter.

The following week, Midorima surprises you by offering your
lucky item for the day. He covers his embarrassment with a slightly terse, “It’s
simple really, I mean, it’s a coffee cup after all.” But never the less, you
beam at the fact that he brought you a unique one, covered in cats (your
favorite animal).

As he leaves the line he hears, “Tch, you know she doesn’t
believe in that nonsense, right?”

Green eyes meet gold, narrowing as the basketball player
says, “How do you know? Have you asked her?”

The volleyball player rolls his eyes. “No, but you only
have to speak to her for a few minutes to realize she’s far too intelligent to go
in for such ridiculousness.”

Midorima clenches his fist, saying lowly, “Intelligence and
faith can co-exist, only someone truly ignorant would not be able to see that.”

Tsukishima scoffs but says nothing in return, electing instead
to spin on his heel and head to his normal seat.

After a few more weeks of both males obviously garnering for
your attention, they tire of each other, each believing the other to be
simultaneously annoying you and hindering the other’s progress. It comes to a head one afternoon as Midorima smacks his hand on Tsukishima’s table
before taking a seat across from him.

Cocking one eyebrow, the blonde asks, “What do you want?”

“Your incessant unwanted pursuit of ______-san needs to
cease,” Midorima says testily, “It’s blatantly obvious you’re not her type, so
why don’t you find another café whose doorstep you can darken?”

“Heh, like you’re one to talk, I don’t see her exactly
fawning over you, you overgrown weed,”
Tsukki snarks back.

“Are you kidding? She always knows my drink, always makes it
perfectly and typically brings
refills, only claiming they are because she “accidentally” made extra because she’s
shy since there’s no way she is frequently that
careless.”

“As if that matters. She remembers every regular’s
order, so yours is nothing special. Also, I don’t see her taking her lunch
breaks with you,” replies Tsukishima
smugly.

“She only does that because you help her with her homework,”
Midorima fires right back, “Don’t think I can’t hear your conversation, it’s
not that far from my seat to yours.”

“I’m not leaving,” Tsukki says crossing his arms and fixing
his opponent with a firm glare. The two males stare one another down, each unwilling
to back down.

Finally, Midorima says, “This is getting us nowhere, let’s
settle this here and now.” Looking up he catches your eye, indicating he’d like
to speak with you. Holding up one finger, you nod. Turning back to his unwanted
company, the green-haired male smirks. “Now we’ll see,” he says as you make
your way towards them. This is not how he’d wanted this to go but he’s tired of
this waif impeding the peace of his favorite café.

“Funny, I didn’t think you two were friends,” you remark reaching
their table.

“We aren’t,” Tsukki confirms, cheeks tinting pink because he
knows what’s coming.

“Ok,” you say drawing out the letters then look back at Midorima.
“Is there something I can help you with?”

“Yes,” he says looking up at your face. “We’re in a bit of
debate and hope you can clear something up for us.”

“I’m intrigued, how can my infinite wisdom assist you
gentlemen?” you ask smiling.

“We were wondering who-“ Midorima begins but is cut off by
the sound of you squealing in delight, attention out the window. Turning
around, his teeth clench at the sight of Imayoshi Shoichi, one hand shoved
casually in his pocket and the other out with his finger crooking in a come-hither
motion to you.

“Sorry guys, one minute,” you say hurriedly running out the
door. Both males watch as you fling your arms around the third-year point
guard, lips planting on his in a swift kiss of greeting. As he hugs you,
Imayoshi sends a wide smirk to the occupants inside, clearly understanding the situation
he came upon.

Both males eyes widen when you grab who is clearly your
boyfriend by the hand and pull him in with you.

“Sorry,” you say a bit breathless, “I just got so excited.
Shoichi-kun, this is Tsukishima-san, middle blocker of Karasuno’s volleyball
team and this-“

“Oh, I know who he is sweetie,” Imayoshi comments, his arm
snaking around your waist, eyes hidden behind the glare of his glasses.

Unaware of the tension among the three males you turn your
attention back to the seated basketball and volleyball players. “I’m sorry, what
did you want to ask me, Midorima -san?”

“It is of no importance,” he says brusquely, standing up and
walking to his seat. Gathering his book bag and lucky item (for all the good it
did him today) he strides out of the café, unsure he can come back given your
taste in men.

“Is everything ok?” you ask worriedly as Tsukki also makes
his way to leave.

“Yeah, sure, see you in class,” he says then quickly makes
his own exit.

“I hope I didn’t offend them, I was just so excited to see
you Shoichi-kun,” you say softly, eyes full of worry.

“Don’t sweat it sweetie,” he says kissing your temple, “they’re
just poor losers.”

“What did they lose?” you ask confused and he just smirks,
finding it so funny that for being so intelligent, you can be so oblivious
sometimes.

Dearest, let me hug you!! Thanks for having me participate here and yay congrats for 500! Yosh I’m excited. How about Momoi and HQ guy (your choice haha) coincidentally meeting one night while he’s practicing volleyball and since then it’s become a routine that she walks home at night, stops by to watch him, and they make light convos while he practices? Maybe you could make them tease each other that their sport is better than the others, and that the other should switch sides lmao idk.

So this is pretty much not what you describe above (sorry) but it is the characters you requested lol. I had a lot harder time writing these two than I thought I would but I hope you like what I’ve come up with. Sorry if it’s terrible. Thank you for the hug and congratulations and all your wonderful support!

Walking through the Fukurodani campus on her way back from analyzing
their basketball team for an upcoming game, Momoi is startled when she hears a
loud cry of, “Akaashi!” What would Seijuro-kun be doing out here? Curiosity
leads her towards the sound of the loud voice where she comes upon another gym,
this one set up for volleyball. Inside she sees a boy with black and grey hair
jumping up and slamming a volleyball set up by a dark haired, slightly sleepy
eyed male.

“Nice one Akaashi!” the first boy yells and she realizes her
mistake. Of course, it wouldn’t be her
Akashi that was here.

She watches in silence, admiring both players skills. She
may not know much about this sport, but she can tell these two are something
special. After a while they leave and she too makes her way back home.

A week later she’s back, this time for the game she’d been
doing research for. After Too’s victory the team is making their way back
through the school when she realizes she forgot her bag. Hurrying, she enters
the gym only to find the same dark-haired boy as before picking it up.

He turns at her entrance and she walks up extending her
hand. “Thank you, I almost forgot that,” she says as he hands it to her
silently.

“Your guys are something else,” he comments and she smiles.

“Yeah, they’re pretty amazing,” she replies. Going on she
says, “Then again, you and that owl boy aren’t too bad either.”

Akaashi chuckles at Momoi’s description of Bokuto. “I
thought I sensed someone watching us. Well, if you ever really want to see us
in action, come to a game, we have one next week here,” he offers. Extending
his hand, he adds, “Akaashi Keiji, second year vice-captain and setter.”

Momoi takes it saying, “Momoi Satsuki, nice to meet you.”

“Oooooooo,” Bokuto says his eyes wide, “who is that hottie with the pink hair? She’s waving at you Akaashi!”

The setter turns, seeing Momoi sitting in the stands and as
Bokuto pointed out, she’s waving. He sends a little wave back to her before
looking back at the ace. “Focus on the game, Bokuto.”

Momoi is thoroughly impressed by Fukurodani and transfixed
by the action on the court. Overall, she’s gathered how the game works, and
finds herself analyzing the players just the same as she would for basketball.
As she’d previously suspected, Bokuto and Akaashi make quite the pairing,
frequently scoring. She chuckles slightly at a moment when the ace lets his
temper get the best of him but is not surprised with the home team emerges
victorious.

Afterwards, she waits for Akaashi, and when he exits the
lockers room he approaches her with a small smile. “You came,” he says simply.

“Yeah and it was great! I mean, not as great as basketball,
but still, it was a lot more exciting than I thought it would be.”

“Not as great as basketball? Is there anything great about basketball?”

“Hey, weren’t you the one who said our guys are something
else?” she says smiling slyly.

It falls to a pout when he says, “I never said that was a
good thing.” But his eyes have a dash of humor in them.

“You know, you should really tell that owl boy to watch his
eyes, it was obvious he was going to cross and that forced a rather poorly
powered straight,” she comments making Akaashi’s eyes go a bit wider.

“For someone who just started watching the game, you sure
seem adept,” he replies narrowing them again. Suddenly he’s glad she’s not into
volleyball the same way she is with basketball.

Shrugging, Momoi smiles demurely. “Boys are just so simple,”
she says, turning to leave. He clears his throat giving her pause and she turns
back around.

“Well, if you want to be surprised, you should check out
Karasuno. They’re…untraditional,” he says, eyes darting away for a moment. “In
fact,” he adds turning to look at her again, “they’re playing tomorrow against
Nekoma in a practice game. Care to come?”

“To just a practice game? Won’t it be boring?” she asks
confused.

“Not with these teams,” he replies, face giving nothing away.

A creature of curiosity, Momoi shrugs her shoulders. “Sure,
why not?”

“Great,” he says, giving her his phone number and gaining
hers to set up where to meet. “Oh, one more thing,” he adds before they part, “what
would it take to obtain your analysis of them? We have matches coming up
against them as well.”

She grins. “You’re a bit more devious than you appear
Akaashi-kun.” She taps her chin then says, “How about dinner afterwards?”

He nods. “It’s a date, see you tomorrow.”

Okay! Since I’m having troubles deciding on the characters, I want you to choose a favorite character from one series to be your super protective older-brother-like best friend, and one character from the other series to be your mutual crush!

Thanks for participating! I felt like these two would have
an interesting dynamic!

Walking into the park, your heart starts beating faster when
you see your long-time crush Tanaka Ryuunosuke headed your way. He’s in town
for a tournament but has a break between games so asked you to come see him when
you were off work. The two of you have been flirting over texts after meeting
at a volleyball co-ed training camp and really hit it off.

Spying you ahead of him, Tanaka’s hands start sweating, his
neck getting tense. He likes you sooooo much and really wants to ask you out
but he’s been dragging his feet. Today Noya threatened that if he didn’t grow a
pair and finally confess he’d do it for him. Knowing the hyper active libero
would make good on his word, Tanaka requested an opportunity to see you.

“Hi, Tanaka-san!” you shout waving jovially. He smiles
lightly, blush coming up on his cheeks as he waves back. In little time, you’ve
meet half way both wanting to hug the other but refraining from doing so due to
your nerves and not really knowing where the other person is.

“Hey _____-chan, thanks for meeting me. It’s too bad you
couldn’t make it to the game, you would have seen my awesome spikes!” he says
adding a bit of bravado to his voice to cover his nerves.

You laugh to cover yours, sighing, “I know! I tried really hard
to get out of my shift but no one would cover for me!” You let out a little
pout and he thinks you’re the cutest girl he’s ever seen.

“No problem, we have more games tonight and tomorrow cause
we’re going all the way to the top!”

You nod enthusiastically. Then, remembering why you’re here,
you ask, “So, what did you want to talk to me about Tanaka-san?”

Tanaka’s eyes widened a bit, his throat becoming a bit dry
which he clears, repeatedly, trying to drum up the words he wants to say. Just
as he’s about to open his mouth, you notice someone behind him and yell out, “Oh!
Rinnosuke-kun!” Dodging around the bewildered volleyball player you launch
yourself into Mitobe’s arms, his large frame easily catching your smaller one.

Inside Tanaka is dying a little, ok maybe a lot, because he
was sure you were single and you’d
never mentioned a boyfriend and he couldn’t conceive of you being so cruel as
to lead him on and-

“Tanaka-san, this is one of my very best friends, Mitobe
Rinnosuke. Actually, I guess it would be more accurate to call him my big
brother!”

Big…brother…so this was
the guy. You’d mentioned your “brother” before but until now had never said his
name. He sizes up the tall male, not entirely pleased with the expression on
his face and while normally he’d be asking if he has a problem, it’s quite clear
that would be a rhetorical question.

Mitobe raises his eyebrows at your mention of Tanaka’s name
prompting you to blush furiously and hiss out, “Oh shut up!”

Tanaka is confused; did the dude even say anything? If so,
it must have been pretty low.

Another beat of silence passes but then your attention is
once again diverted when your name is called by a group of girls over by a
shop. Squealing out a hello, you whip your head to the boys, “Sorry guys, I
need to go chat with them for just a minute. But that will give you time to
become acquainted! Be right back!” Before either of them can protest you’re
running off to your friends.

Turning back to look at Mitobe, Tanaka crosses his arms. “So,
you’re _____-chan’s “brother”. She talks about you a lot, seems you two are
pretty close.”

Mitobe nods, his face remaining neutral, eyes focused on
Tanaka. Despite his cocky attitude, Tanaka does, deep down, care about what people
think of him. And it’s pretty clear that this guy means a lot to you, which
means he should probably put in some more effort to get to know him. After all,
if he wants to date you, doesn’t “family” usually come along in the mix?

“Um, _____-chan tells me you play basketball. Uh, that’s…cool…I
guess,” Tanaka says. Again, Mitobe just nods. Tanaka can feel himself getting
irritated with the guy. Is this some kind of a game? Pushing his buttons so he
can get him to explode or make a fool of himself in front of you? How is he supposed
to get to know the guy if he won’t talk?

“Oi,” he says a bit gruffer, “aren’t you gonna say anything?”

Mitobe shrugs, turning his head momentarily to look at you
then back at Tanaka. He repeats the motion, one eyebrow inclining slightly.

Sighing, Tanaka somehow
gets what he’s “saying”. “So, you figured out that I like her, huh?”

Mitobe nods, eyes narrowing a bit.

“And she’s really important to you, obviously,” Tanaka adds.

Another nod, arms crossing in front of his chest.

Scratching the back of his head, a sudden thought occurs to
Tanaka. “Well, seeing as you’re pretty much the only “family” _____-chan has, I
suppose this is appropriate.” He sees Mitobe’s eyes soften, a slight curve
downward of his lips as he recalls just how you’ve become an honorary member of
his family. Tanaka goes on, “Yeah, well, seeing as that’s the case, I guess….um…I,”
he sighs, closing his eyes before opening them again and blurting out, “Could I
get your permission to date her?”

Before Mitobe can react, a sudden shout from you draws both boys’
attention away from one another. You’re standing by yourself now, your friends
apparently having left, but there’s a guy messing with you, not letting you
leave.

Tanaka is there in a flash, yanking him back from you and
injecting himself between him and you. “Just what the hell do you think you’re
doing?” he shouts, fists clenched.

“Scram brat, this doesn’t concern you!” the bully says
moving to shove Tanaka out of the way. He dodges, grabbing the guy by the wrist
and twisting his arm around making him grunt in pain.

“Now,” he says gruffly, “get the hell out of here before I really
mess you up.”

He pushes him forward, making him stumble. The guy whirls
around, about to try again, when Mitobe arrives standing just behind Tanaka. At
the sight of the imposingly tall basketball player, the offender leaves,
cursing under his breath.

Tanaka turns to you. “Are you ok?” he asks. He’s barely finished
the question before you’ve flung yourself into his chest, tears streaming down
your cheeks. Awkwardly, Tanaka places his hands on your back, while yours wrap
more fully around his waist. He gulps, patting your head, unsure exactly what
to say but figuring he can help by just holding you.

His eyes shift to Mitobe who is standing very still watching
the two of you. Slowly, a soft smile pulls up his lips, his eyes flicking from Tanaka
to you then back again before he lifts his hand and shows a thumbs up.

Tanaka grins, saying lowly, “Thanks man.”

You sniff, pulling back to look up at your rescuer. “Did…did
you say something Tanaka-san?”

“What? Eh, no. Hey, I never did get a chance to talk to you,
you know?” he says smiling into your tear stained face. He pulls you along,
unwilling to ask his question in front of anybody else, brother or not.

As Mitobe watches you go, Koga arrives, standing next to
him.

“So that’s the guy?” he asks and Mitobe nods.

“Do we like him?” Mitobe nods again.

“Good, come on, the captain’s waiting,” he concludes, turning
on his heel headed back to the park court Seirin is practicing on. With one
last glance at you and your new boyfriend (he’s sure he’s right judging by how
you’re hugging him) Mitobe turns to follow his friend, glad he won’t have to
worry about you as long as Tanaka is around.

Can I get #24 of the drabble prompts with Asahi? Angst to fluff maybe? Thanks!

hq-hq-headcanons:

Of course you can! ❤ I really enjoyed writing this, so I hope everyone enjoys reading it too!

Prompt: “Are you really going to leave without asking me the question you’ve been dying to ask me?”

For better or for worse, it was finally here.

Graduation day.

Honestly, it felt like it came way too fast. You told yourself, every single day, that you would finally confess to your 3rd year crush before he left.

Most students were either scared of him or disappointed that he wasn’t what they expect, but he was the most amazing person to you. Handsome, sweet, yet surprisingly easy to scare.

Still that’s what made him so cute and endearing.

You had wanted nothing more than to just be able to talk to him more, to see him more, and thank him for all the times he helped you over the past 2 years you spent at this school.

And yet, here you are, an even bigger coward than THE Asahi, biggest coward in the whole school.

You could only sigh and watch from afar as he stood over by his friends. They were laughing together and he occasionally let a tear fall down his eye as they recalled all the fond memories they had.

It was useless now. You passed up any chance you could have had with him and you knew it. This was the last day you could even see him, and yet you could hardly even look at him anymore, feeling tears of your own welling up in your eyes as you slowly head toward the school gate, getting ready to leave.

“Umm, excuse me.”

Upon hearing his voice, you jumped but immediately turned around. At first, you thought maybe you were being too hopeful. That maybe he was calling out for someone else. And yet you look up, and it’s you he’s looking down towards, with eyes seemingly a bit too open.

“A-are you crying! Oh- I-I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you! It’s just- my friend- he said that I should ask you a question and-”

“It’s fine, Asahi-san! Y-you didn’t scare me at all! Umm, what did your friend want you to ask me?”

“Really?” He let out a sigh of relief, ”I’m glad I didn’t scare you. Anyway, I’m not really sure what my friend meant, but he wanted me to ask you “Are you really going to leave without asking me the question you’ve been dying to ask me?” Or, uh, something like that, I think?”

You look off to the side of Asahi to see Nishinoya giving you a thumbs up. Mouthing words that you can’t really understand, but you nonetheless get what he’s trying to say.

You looked back up to Asahi and took a deep breath.

“Asahi-san, I wanted to ask you out all year, but I… I just couldn’t find the courage to confess. So umm…”  You bowed low and quick, undoubtedly startling him,”C-Could I please have your 2nd button?!”

There was a moment of silence and you couldn’t bear to look up again. Surely you messed all this up. You should’ve just walked away, or made something up.

“___-san, c-can I see your hand?”

You immediately shot up, startling Asahi yet again. Your brain is running auto, You don’t even question him, just nearly punching him in the gut from shooting your hand out so fast.

He let out a nervous chuckle before gently placing one of his hands under yours before hovering over with his other, gently placing the button in your hand.

“Thank you, ___-san, for telling me how you feel–”

“DON’T WORRY ____-SAN! I’LL GIVE YOU HIS NUMBER TOMORROW!”

“N-NISHINOYA!”

Awwww!!! This is so sweet! I love my handsome cinnamon roll! Thank you! Guys, go follow @@hq-hq-headcanons and request your fave Haikyuu character with a number from the drabble list!

I saw your announcement, and I want to say congratulations!! You deserve it!! Also, as you said you’re open for crossovers, can I request for some cute headcanons between Yachi and Murasakibara, and/or Yachi and Akashi? Like how they met and what their relationship is like (If you’re only taking one character, then Murasakibara, pls). I’m curious to see how Yachi’s relationship with them would work! Once again, congratulations!!

THANK YOU FOR THESE WONDERFUL PAIRINGS! Because I love both
you get BOTH! Also, thank you for the congratulations and for following and
participating! 😊

Just for reference, Yachi is 4’ 10”, 93.7 lbs

Murasakibara (Height: 6’ 10’, 218 lbs)

How they met: Yachi got lost (again) and was waiting for a
train when Mura’s shadow literally covered her. When she looked up, she fainted
because surely this monster was going to kill her. Mura took her to the doctor
(with Tatsuya in tow so no one would think he was kidnapping her). When she
woke up he gave her one of his lollipops.

Second encounter: Mura had picked up her wallet when it fell
out of her bag and shows up at her school to return it. Needless to say,
everyone now believes Yachi has ties to the Yakuza and no amount of correcting
is going to change that opinion. It would have ended there if Yachi, in her
constant need to pay people back, hadn’t offered to bring him cookies to say
thank you. His interest level was of course peaked.

First date: Was kind of an accident since when she showed up
to bring him the cookies it was near dinner time so he decided to take her
along as a thank you for coming all the way to see him. Conversation is pretty
much non-existent because Mura doesn’t talk much and Yachi was way too nervous but somehow, they both
left that evening having enjoyed the other’s company. They exchanged phone
numbers.

Start of Relationship: Again, mostly it was an accident. The
two of them text back and forth constantly, usually her showing him recipes
(mostly desserts) that she wants to try and him letting her know he’ll be her
taste tester. Eventually, Tatsuya points out that Mura spends all his free time going to see Yachi and
that maybe he should just make it official. “Besides, you wouldn’t want her
baking for anyone else, would you?” He asks her out that night promptly making
her faint yet again.

Relationship Dynamics/Habits

  • Quite difficult to hold hands given their size difference.
If they are walking together they either don’t or if Mura is feeling
particularly touchy, he’ll sling her on his back, her tiny arms wrapped around
    his neck.
  • He kisses the top of her head frequently.
  • Their first kiss? Yet another accident. She looked up to say
something, he bent down to kiss her head and instead hit her lips. Both blushed
furiously but Mura was the first to recover, offering a slight smile. “Ne?
Yachi-chin’s lip gloss tastes yummy,” he said going in for another sample.
  • When relaxing together, Yachi loves to curl up on his chest
and stomach while they watch TV and he idly plays with her hair.
  • Neither of their respective teams completely understand how
this relationship works seeing as Yachi is a consistent fluttery mess of nerves
while Mura is unimpressed by pretty much everything. Then again, maybe that’s
    why they’re a perfect match.

Akashi (Height: 5’ 8”, 141 lbs)

How they met: Akashi caught sight of a poster Yachi did
advertising a fund raiser for the children’s hospital and decided not only to
donate but find the person responsible for making the color art. “You have true
talent,” he said when he found her, his intense eyes making her knees shake as
she stammered out a thank you. He’d not intended to be more interested in the
artist than her art but being Akashi, decided he would go after what he wanted;
and he wanted Yachi.

Second encounter: Akashi found where Karasuno would be
playing a match (he has his sources you know) and showed up to see her. He
ended up impressed with the team as a whole but focused his attention solely on
speaking to her after the game. When the boys tried to defend her, Akashi was tempted to use his Emperor eye to break through but Yachi assured them they’ve
met before and it was ok, even though her voice was quivering. When they left them alone, Akashi formally asked her to dinner. She was si stunned she just stood there gapping like a fish. “A non-verbal answer will suffice,” he said and she
nodded.

First Date: Surprisingly simple because Akashi, of course,
understands right away that Yachi would not do well in any setting too fancy or
formal. But, ever the romantic, he plans a picnic at a large park, the meal
prepared by his chef. Yachi is in awe, blushing and stammering the whole time
feeling like she’s making a fool of herself. Once he asks about Karasuno, she
starts talking more easily, going on about the boys and all that she’s learned
from them. Ordinarily, Akashi would be annoyed to have his date expounding on
the good qualities of potential rivals but her words assured him they were, while
important to her, not romantic
interests; good.

Start of Relationship: After a few dates, Akashi decides
Yachi is just the ray of sunshine (wrapped in a nervous, overactive imagination
that he finds surprisingly quaint) he needs in his life in a more concrete
nature. A traditionalist, he acquires her mother’s permission to date her. Madoka is rather taken aback by this young man, but believes him when
he says he will never allow harm to come to her daughter and will always
treat her with the utmost respect. Receiving her blessing, Akashi takes Yachi
out to dinner that same night, telling her to dress up a bit. Over dinner he
said, “I have a question, Yachi-chan, or rather a request…make that two.” When
she met his eyes he asked, “One, I would like you to be my girlfriend and two,
I would like to call you Hitoka.” After choking on air for a few moments, Yachi
accepted.

Relationship Dynamics/Habits

  • Akashi prefers to avoid PDA (which is fine with Yachi) but
will keep his arm wrapped securely around her shoulders if they are in thick
crowds; he doesn’t want to lose her or have her get hurt.
  • But he does love to kiss her hands, either one or both, when
    he is showing more affection.
  • Frequently sends her little gifts so she knows he’s thinking
of her when time with their respective teams, school and other responsibilities
keep them apart for any significant space of time.
  • She has her own room at the manor for when she visits so she
doesn’t have to take a late train.
  • They take up dancing lessons, or rather Yachi does being
taught by Akashi how to waltz despite her clumsy nature.
  • The Rakuzan boys adore her. Nebuya because she’s a good cook
and will bring them all homemade bentos for after practice when she’s staying with
Akashi, Mibuchi because she’s the cutest thing ever, and Hayama because he loves how much energy she has, just
like him. The boys of Karasuno are weary of Akashi but respect him and are glad
    that he makes Yachi happy.

Which superheroes do you think each of the Karasuno starters best represent? Include (if it’s not too much) Tsukki and Noya since they rotate in and out frequently. Marvel, DC, or both is fine. Thanks and good luck with your blog!

hq-hq-headcanons:

Aah thank you so much! This request was a bit tricky for me with some characters (might be obvious which ones lol), but was a ton of fun to do! I hope you enjoy it!

Hinata

Hinata is definitely Spiderman (and not just because he’s called so in the show.) Both are known to be small fries in their respective series, are under estimated, but always prove themselves to be more than what you expect. Plus, Hinata’s comment about being “from the concrete,” is aligned with Spider-man’s constant wise cracking.

Kageyama

In terms of personality and abilities, Kageyama is very similar to Scarlet Witch. Both tend to be hotheaded/easy to snap, socially awkward, yet well regarded within their talents (I mean, Scarlet Witch redesigned the universe when she got upset. She has the power.) Even so, both become slightly more open as time goes on, becoming viable parts to their team.

Tsukishima

Iron man. Sassy, taunting, and slightly indifferent to their responsibilities at first, both Iron man and Tsukishima can be hard to be around for some people, yet they’re both invaluable and both experience a moment that completely changes their outlook on their responsibilities.

Yamaguchi

Considering his transition from being (an absolute cutey patooey) a character portrayed as weak and invaluable, to having a complete badass moment of pride, to being completely invaluable to the team, I can’t help but think of Yamaguchi’s development as being similar to Captain America. Both are just so earnest and hardworking, and just wanted to be useful towards a cause they both believed in.

Tanaka

Boisterous, silly, hotheaded, and wanting to be with the ladies, Tanaka just screams Human Torch to me. Both are here to kick ass at what they do, are protective of those they care for, and can focus and get serious when the time calls for it.

Noya

I can’t help but see Noya as the Flash. Both are fast, wanting to be with ladies, larger than life dedication to saving the day, and outgoing personality that connects him with others. They take life at their own pace, which is a hundred miles faster than any other, while also taking the time to slow down just a little to give others a push forward when they’re stuck.

Daichi:

This might be cheating, but I gotta bring back Captain America. Both Daichi and Captain America are friendly and caring. They’re always pulling as much of their weight as they can for the sake of their teams, while also trying to keep the peace to stay united. Because of that, you better be ready for a stern talking to (or a shield to the face) if you do something you aren’t supposed to.

Suga: Due to Suga’s role in the story, I can’t help but choose a guilty pleasure of mine. Doctor Strange goes from an accomplished surgeon, to being lowered by an accident, to being the hardly known and often overlooked protector of the universe. I just can’t help but see them and their ‘backseat’ but important roles as being too similar for me to pass up. (That being said, Suga was luckily never a huge asshole like Dr.S was.)

Asahi

Strong, intimidating, yet as cute as a teddybear, Asahi can be no one else but Thor. They both are just kind sweetie pies who just happen to look like they might be gigantic jerks. Plus, Thor being the mightiest of Asgard definitely mirrors the importance of Asahi being the team Ace.

Bravo!!! I think you nailed everyone perfectly! Yama as Captain America?? I can see it! Smiled the whole time reading this. Hey everyone, go follow @hq-hq-headcanons! They are just getting started so go drop some asks and love in their box and the above is the quality content you’ll receive!
