I saw your announcement, and I want to say congratulations!! You deserve it!! Also, as you said you’re open for crossovers, can I request for some cute headcanons between Yachi and Murasakibara, and/or Yachi and Akashi? Like how they met and what their relationship is like (If you’re only taking one character, then Murasakibara, pls). I’m curious to see how Yachi’s relationship with them would work! Once again, congratulations!!

THANK YOU FOR THESE WONDERFUL PAIRINGS! Because I love both
you get BOTH! Also, thank you for the congratulations and for following and
participating! 😊

Just for reference, Yachi is 4’ 10”, 93.7 lbs

Murasakibara (Height: 6’ 10’, 218 lbs)

How they met: Yachi got lost (again) and was waiting for a
train when Mura’s shadow literally covered her. When she looked up, she fainted
because surely this monster was going to kill her. Mura took her to the doctor
(with Tatsuya in tow so no one would think he was kidnapping her). When she
woke up he gave her one of his lollipops.

Second encounter: Mura had picked up her wallet when it fell
out of her bag and shows up at her school to return it. Needless to say,
everyone now believes Yachi has ties to the Yakuza and no amount of correcting
is going to change that opinion. It would have ended there if Yachi, in her
constant need to pay people back, hadn’t offered to bring him cookies to say
thank you. His interest level was of course peaked.

First date: Was kind of an accident since when she showed up
to bring him the cookies it was near dinner time so he decided to take her
along as a thank you for coming all the way to see him. Conversation is pretty
much non-existent because Mura doesn’t talk much and Yachi was way too nervous but somehow, they both
left that evening having enjoyed the other’s company. They exchanged phone
numbers.

Start of Relationship: Again, mostly it was an accident. The
two of them text back and forth constantly, usually her showing him recipes
(mostly desserts) that she wants to try and him letting her know he’ll be her
taste tester. Eventually, Tatsuya points out that Mura spends all his free time going to see Yachi and
that maybe he should just make it official. “Besides, you wouldn’t want her
baking for anyone else, would you?” He asks her out that night promptly making
her faint yet again.

Relationship Dynamics/Habits

  • Quite difficult to hold hands given their size difference.
If they are walking together they either don’t or if Mura is feeling
particularly touchy, he’ll sling her on his back, her tiny arms wrapped around
    his neck.
  • He kisses the top of her head frequently.
  • Their first kiss? Yet another accident. She looked up to say
something, he bent down to kiss her head and instead hit her lips. Both blushed
furiously but Mura was the first to recover, offering a slight smile. “Ne?
Yachi-chin’s lip gloss tastes yummy,” he said going in for another sample.
  • When relaxing together, Yachi loves to curl up on his chest
and stomach while they watch TV and he idly plays with her hair.
  • Neither of their respective teams completely understand how
this relationship works seeing as Yachi is a consistent fluttery mess of nerves
while Mura is unimpressed by pretty much everything. Then again, maybe that’s
    why they’re a perfect match.

Akashi (Height: 5’ 8”, 141 lbs)

How they met: Akashi caught sight of a poster Yachi did
advertising a fund raiser for the children’s hospital and decided not only to
donate but find the person responsible for making the color art. “You have true
talent,” he said when he found her, his intense eyes making her knees shake as
she stammered out a thank you. He’d not intended to be more interested in the
artist than her art but being Akashi, decided he would go after what he wanted;
and he wanted Yachi.

Second encounter: Akashi found where Karasuno would be
playing a match (he has his sources you know) and showed up to see her. He
ended up impressed with the team as a whole but focused his attention solely on
speaking to her after the game. When the boys tried to defend her, Akashi was tempted to use his Emperor eye to break through but Yachi assured them they’ve
met before and it was ok, even though her voice was quivering. When they left them alone, Akashi formally asked her to dinner. She was si stunned she just stood there gapping like a fish. “A non-verbal answer will suffice,” he said and she
nodded.

First Date: Surprisingly simple because Akashi, of course,
understands right away that Yachi would not do well in any setting too fancy or
formal. But, ever the romantic, he plans a picnic at a large park, the meal
prepared by his chef. Yachi is in awe, blushing and stammering the whole time
feeling like she’s making a fool of herself. Once he asks about Karasuno, she
starts talking more easily, going on about the boys and all that she’s learned
from them. Ordinarily, Akashi would be annoyed to have his date expounding on
the good qualities of potential rivals but her words assured him they were, while
important to her, not romantic
interests; good.

Start of Relationship: After a few dates, Akashi decides
Yachi is just the ray of sunshine (wrapped in a nervous, overactive imagination
that he finds surprisingly quaint) he needs in his life in a more concrete
nature. A traditionalist, he acquires her mother’s permission to date her. Madoka is rather taken aback by this young man, but believes him when
he says he will never allow harm to come to her daughter and will always
treat her with the utmost respect. Receiving her blessing, Akashi takes Yachi
out to dinner that same night, telling her to dress up a bit. Over dinner he
said, “I have a question, Yachi-chan, or rather a request
make that two.” When
she met his eyes he asked, “One, I would like you to be my girlfriend and two,
I would like to call you Hitoka.” After choking on air for a few moments, Yachi
accepted.

Relationship Dynamics/Habits

  • Akashi prefers to avoid PDA (which is fine with Yachi) but
will keep his arm wrapped securely around her shoulders if they are in thick
crowds; he doesn’t want to lose her or have her get hurt.
  • But he does love to kiss her hands, either one or both, when
    he is showing more affection.
  • Frequently sends her little gifts so she knows he’s thinking
of her when time with their respective teams, school and other responsibilities
keep them apart for any significant space of time.
  • She has her own room at the manor for when she visits so she
doesn’t have to take a late train.
  • They take up dancing lessons, or rather Yachi does being
taught by Akashi how to waltz despite her clumsy nature.
  • The Rakuzan boys adore her. Nebuya because she’s a good cook
and will bring them all homemade bentos for after practice when she’s staying with
Akashi, Mibuchi because she’s the cutest thing ever, and Hayama because he loves how much energy she has, just
like him. The boys of Karasuno are weary of Akashi but respect him and are glad
    that he makes Yachi happy.

Could I have a fluffy scenario with Ushijima and his fem s/o on their first date?

I kind of went crazy with it but hopefully the
length makes up for how long it took me to get it done. I really hope you like
it! It’s a blend of awkward, funny and fluff (at least I hope it is). I
listened to Dashboard Confessional’s “Stolen” on repeat while writing this in
case you’d like a tune to set the mood.

Wakatoshi Ushijima – Fortune Favors the Blunt

Nobody is more surprised when Ushijima asks you out
than him. Normally one to avoid anything or anyone that gives him a feeling of
not knowing what he’s going to do, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to you.
It starts off subtle, as these things often do, with his eyes consistently
shifting to you in class. Every time he catches himself staring at you, he whisks
his attention back to the front of the room but even then, he’s distracted just
by the thought of you.

Eventually he gives into the inevitable; he may be
stubborn but he’s not stupid.

“______-san,” his deep voice rumbles one day after
school. He’s on his way to the gym when you cross his path. Inevitability or
not, there’s no way he’d be late for practice looking for you but he’ll take
fortune where he can find it.

You almost drop your books in surprise at being addressed
directly by the huge volleyball player. Turning around and craning your neck
upwards you ask, “Yes?”

“I really like you, go out with me,” he says. It’s
not a question, it’s a statement.

Beside him, Tendo doubles over with laughter. “Wakatoshi,
that’s not how you get a girl to go out with you!” he exclaims throwing an arm
around his blunt friend. “You have to ask
her,” he mock whispers to him, casting a side wink in your direction.

The attention this whole scene is garnering is
making you rather uncomfortable so to avoid further embarrassment you say, “Ok,
Ushijima-san, um,” you pause ripping a piece of paper from your notebook.
Scribbling your number down you hand it to him, Tendo’s mouth falling open as
you say, “Call me.” Then you scurry away, completely convinced the past five
minutes had to be a figment of your imagination.

Behind you, Tendo, still slack jawed, looks at his
friend in awe. “Then again, maybe it is
how you get a girl to go out with you.” Ushijima is unaffected, turning on his
heel to head to practice.

Later that evening, your phone rings, a number you
don’t recognize flashing on the display.

“Hello?” you answer

“______-chan,” comes the reply. “It’s Ushijima,” he
adds completely unnecessarily.

“Oh
hel
hello,” you stammer, clearly shocked he
actually called.

There’s a moment of silence, which really shouldn’t
surprise you considering who you’re “talking” to; maybe you should have
suggested texting. Clearing your throat, you try to get the conversation going.
“So, um, thanks for calling. I
I didn’t really think you would.”

“Why wouldn’t I call? You gave me your number in
order to,” he asks confused.

“I know! I
it’s just that usually when guys say they’re
going to call, they don’t.”

“That’s stupid,” he says simply and you can’t help
but laugh.

“Yeah, you’re right it is. Um, anyway, did you
did
you have an idea of where you wanted to go for a date?”

There’s another pause. “A date?” he asks.

Now you’re the one confused. “Well, yeah, you asked,
er, um, told me to go out with you, so
did you have anything in mind?”

“You misunderstood, when I said go out with me, I
meant be my girlfriend. Isn’t that what that usually means?”

The phone slips from your hands, shock rendering
your limbs temporarily paralyzed. From the ground, you hear his voice calling
for you, but you can’t move. With no warning, no indication of ever liking you at all, he just
wants you to be his
girlfriend?

“______-chan?” Wakatoshi tries again, bordering
between irritation and concern; is the idea of exclusively dating him that bad?

Finally, you come back on the line, voice shaking a
bit. “Um
Ushijima-san, why
why do you want me to be your girlfriend?”

He doesn’t have to think long on his answer. “I don’t
know, I just know I want to be with you.”

An incredulous laugh escapes your lips; this is all
just too surreal. Shaking your head, you’re just about to tell him you don’t
think that’s the best foundation to base a relationship
on when you stop. When is the last time you’ve taken a risk? And what better
time than now? It’s your third year and you’ve only ever dated one other guy,
one who told you all the reasons he loved you only to end up breaking your
heart in the end by cheating on you. At least with Ushijima-san you’ll have
full disclosure.

“Ok,” you say before you can convince yourself not
to. “Ok,” you repeat, “I’ll consider
being your girlfriend, but on one condition.”

“And that is?” he asks.

You have no idea where this sudden bout of
confidence is coming from but you’re determined to ride the wave as long as
possible. “You have to take me on a proper date first, then we’ll see.”

For a moment, Ushijima is at a loss. Why didn’t
anyone ever tell him dating would be this difficult? Granted, he’s never asked anyone about it before but still. But
he knows, without understanding why, that he wants you to be his, so he’ll do
what it takes to make that happen.

“Alright, I’ll take you out Saturday night,” he replies.

“Sounds great,” you say smiling. After another pause
you add, “Well, I better get going. Homework to do and all that, but I’ll see
you tomorrow at school
Wakatoshi-kun.”

He’s not sure why it is that you saying his first
name makes him blush, but Ushijima can feel his cheeks heating up and is
eternally grateful you’re not having this conversation in person.

The rest of the week passes uneventfully, no one (save
Tendo) the wiser of the change in your relationship status since, technically,
nothing has changed between the two
of you except the fact that you’re going on a date this weekend.

“Sooooo,” Tendo says Friday afternoon in the locker
room, “where are you taking _____-chan tomorrow?”

“Dinner and a movie,” comes the quick reply.

Tendo yawns dramatically. “Boooorrrringgg!”

Wakatoshi looks at his grinning face. “Well then,
what would you suggest?”

Slamming his locker door, the red head then leans
against it. “Look, she said this date is conditional of her becoming your
girlfriend. If you’re serious about this you’re going to have to up your game.”

A sudden feeling of doubt overcomes the ace; what the
hell was he thinking?

“Don’t panic, your best buddy is here to rescue you
from dating ineptitude,” Tendo says following him out of the locker room.

“But you’ve never had a girlfriend,” Wakatoshi says.

“Tch, doesn’t mean I don’t know what to do,” he says
wiggling his eyebrows.

The next day you are bouncing around the house, completely
excited, nervous, anxious and
hopeful. For the whole week, you’ve struggled
with whether to call this whole thing off, but your girlfriends insisted you at
least go on the date; the guy deserves that much they reminded you.

In the afternoon, you receive a text from Wakatoshi
advising you to dress nicely but warm. After going through your entire closet,
you decide upon a knee length grey skirt with blue leggings, black ankle boots
and long sleeved white shirt, a black vest over it. Finishing your hair and
makeup, you take one last look in the mirror; well, it’s as good as it’s going
to get.

A knock at the front door has your heart racing.
Rushing from the back of your house, you open it to reveal Wakatoshi with a
bouquet of daisies which he thrusts a little abruptly at you.

“Thank you,” you say, placing them in a vase of
water. Now that the flowers are out of your field of vision you see he’s clad
in dark jeans, a black long sleeve shirt and maroon jacket.

“Ready to go?” he asks and you nod, following him
out the door.

You walk down the street in silence, heading to a
bus stop. When it arrives, you climb on and take seats next to one another. The
silence is slightly awkward but you know Wakatoshi enough to not be surprised
by his lack of conversation skills; he doesn’t speak that much and when he does
it’s often in quick, concise sentences.

When you arrive to your destination, he stands and
you follow him. Surprise registers on your face when you see you’re at a large
park, a gigantic lake spread in the center. Wakatoshi is walking slightly ahead
of you, his long legs and quick strides making it hard for you to keep up. To his
credit, he does notice and slows down, coming to a stop and looking at you. In silence,
he reaches out his hand to you. After a moment’s hesitation, you take it, your
hand being swallowed into his. You can feel the callouses built up over years
of hitting a volleyball, you’re sure, hundreds of thousands of times.

Walking a bit slower, the two of you make your way
to a dock and his intention becomes clear; you’re going in a paddle boat. Paying
for the rental, Wakatoshi gets in first, turning to assist you. Both of you blush
slightly when he has need to touch your waist to make sure you don’t fall over.
Once you’re seated, he settles next to you and you both begin pushing on the
peddles, the boat coasting out towards the center of the lake.

It’s lovely here, sakura trees releasing their
petals which float through the air and land silently on the glass like surface
of the water. Above you, the stars are starting to wink and twinkle, the moon a
half crescent but bright.

After peddling for a while, you decide to stop,
looking up to enjoy the night sky. Glancing at him from the corner of your eye,
you smile; he may not say much, but his efforts thus far have impressed you.

Deciding you should put in a little more effort too,
you say, “You know, we don’t really know that much about each other. So how
about we play twenty questions? Answer one, ask one?”

“I don’t think I’ll come up with very good
questions,” he says.

“Nothing says they have to be clever,” you say lightly, “Just ask things you want to know about
me.”

Thinking it over, he realizes you’re right and nods
his agreement to your suggestion.

By the end of the game he’s properly fallen for you,
learning about your love of animals and dream to be a veterinarian, the fact
that you’re a pretty good cook and enjoy comedy movies over any other genre.
You learn about his family, his ambition to play professional volleyball (not surprising
at all but you are surprised by the
level of detail he went into once he really got going) and that he enjoys
reading mysteries when he has the time.

“This was a really great idea,” you say with a soft
smile.

He wants to confess it wasn’t really his, that Tendo
was the one who found out about this place but thinks it better not to; you
look so happy.

“I’m glad you like it,” he says instead.

When the temperature shifts downward a few degrees
and you shiver Wakatoshi takes off his jacket, draping it over your shoulders.

“We should probably head back,” you say and he nods.
You get the boat turned around and return to the dock. Wakatoshi gets out first
after it’s secure, leaning down and extending his hand to you to help you out.
You grasp his hand, but as you step you slip, careening forward. Were he not
there, you’d probably have banged your knee up pretty bad but his strong arms
and quick reflexes are more than enough to pull you to safety; which means you’re
clasped in a full Wakatoshi embrace.

Looking up at his face, you smile and say, “Thanks.”

He swallows, his blush returning due to the
proximity of your face to his. Unthinkingly, he leans down further, lips
hovering over yours, eyes almost closed. Deciding to risk it, he continues
downward, kissing you very gently. When he pulls away, your eyes are shining,
your own cheeks sporting a beautiful, natural rouge.

“So, does this mean you’ll be my girlfriend?” he
asks.

“Yes,” you breathe, “yes, Wakatoshi-kun, I’ll be
your girlfriend.”

When he smiles, you think your heart is going stop
but don’t have time for further consideration of your impending cardiac arrest
since he’s kissing you again, a bit firmer, a bit longer and oh my, you now
know that while his mouth may not expel many words, it is exceptionally
talented in communicating passion.

Happy Birthday from Suga-Pie!

In honor of the birth of the lovely @setter-crush-central here
is a fluffy, romantic birthday scenario with Sugawara Koshi!

The ringing of your cell phone wakes you from a lovely
slumber, a groan pulling from your lips when you notice it’s still slightly
dark outside. Who in the world would call you this early? Picking up the phone,
it’s light so blinding you’re unable to see who’s calling, you answer groggily,
“Hello?”

“Rise and shine beautiful,” Koshi’s way too chipper voice
says from the other end.

“Koshi, do you know what time it is?” you moan, rolling onto
your back.

“Yep, it’s time for you to get up! You have exactly one hour to get ready before I’m at your
house to steal you away, no matter your state of dress. So I suggest you get
moving!”

“You’re such a brat,” you grumble but your tone is laced
with endearment, a smile on your face he can hear in your voice.

“Yes, but you love me anyway,” he quips back. “Now hurry up,
I’ll see you in an hour.” He hangs up and you snort; he can be such a pest
sometimes but he isn’t lying. You love him anyway.

Rolling out of bed, you stumble to the bathroom. As you dry
off from your shower, you realize you forgot to ask what you should be wearing
so you shoot a text to your boyfriend before turning on the hair dryer. A few
seconds later you receive a reply: Something
comfortable, most likely would be best to wear layers. T-minus thirty minutes!

Rolling your eyes, you shoot an emoji of the same expression
receiving one with its tongue stuck out in return that makes you laugh.

Hair dried, you pick out dark denim jeans, tennis shoes and
your favorite shirt, throwing over it a sweatshirt you stolen from Suga when
you first started dating. When you finish applying your makeup, you send
another text asking if you should eat breakfast before he arrives.

Of course not! What
kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn’t make sure you were well nourished?

You shake your head, making your way to the kitchen to wait
for him. At preciously one hour since the time he called you there is a knock
at the door. Opening it you find your pretty (he hates that you call him that
but you do anyway because it’s true) boyfriend standing on your porch with a bouquet
of your favorite flowers and a backpack on his back.

Smiling, you take them, planting a kiss on his cheek. “Thanks,”
you say before turning away to put them in a vase with water. That done, you
turn back to him. “So, where to first?”

“First, food,” he answers, taking your hand and tugging you
towards the door.

“Wait, I have to leave a note for my parents,” you say but
he shakes his head.

“I already told them our plans to make sure it was ok that I
stole you for the whole day,” he says and you smile; he’s so considerate.
Following him out, you lock the door and the two of you make your way down the
quiet, lamp lit streets. Soon enough you’ve arrived at a little cafĂ© the two of
you have dubbed “your place” as it is the location of your first ever official date.
You’ve been coming here consistently throughout the length of your relationship,
their breakfasts one of the best in town.

“I thought about taking you somewhere new, you know, because
it’s your birthday and all, but I figured it would be better to take you where
I know you love the food,” Suga says as he pulls out your chair. You sit down,
not even needing to look at the menu.

You both order your favorite breakfasts, then looking across
the table smile at each other.

“So far so good,” you say playfully tapping the top of his
hand.

It doesn’t take long for your food to arrive since you’re
the first customers of the day. You actually had no idea this place opened so
early. As your piping hot breakfast is set before you, your mouth waters.
Giving thanks for the food, you both dig in, chatting idly about everything and
nothing as you often do.

Once the meal is over and Suga has paid, he takes your hand
again. You love that he always holds your hand no matter where you are. At
school, on the train, watching a movie, his hand consistently seeks yours,
threading your fingers together and maintaining a firm grip.

Your second stop is atop of hill where Koshi pulls out a
blanket from his bag. Setting it down, he sits, motioning for you to follow.
Once you are seated, he scoots right up next to you, wrapping his arm around
your shoulders.

“And, here we go, in three
two
one,” he says lowly. As he
ends, the sky begins to shift in color from light indigo to faded violet, then
pink, then orange. The sun crests the horizon, gold flashing across the
buildings of Torono Town, your vantage giving you a perfect view. You don’t
realize you’ve been holding your breath until your chest burns prompting you to
exhale. It’s been so long since you saw a proper sunrise.

“You light up my life,” Koshi says and you turn to look at
him, “even in my darkest times you’ve lit up my world with colors and beauty.”

“You’re so cheesy,” you whisper but you’re blushing.

Nuzzling your nose, he murmurs back, “You know you love it.”

The two of you turn your attention back to the scene before
you, Koshi with his arm still around you and your head on his shoulder. After a
few more minutes, he shifts and you look at him again.

“Ready for the next surprise?” he asks and you nod.

Standing up, he extends his hand and helps you to your feet.
Packing up the blanket, he slings the bag onto his back before taking your
hand.

You walk together to the train station. After a couple hours,
you arrive in the Yamanashi Prefecture.

Koshi hurries you along, clearly excited to spring his
surprise. Rounding a corner, you see a bus.

“What are we doing?” you ask as you board, Koshi showing
tickets to the host.

“Fruit picking and lunch at Kiyogato Kogen Hotel,” he
responds grinning.

You smile widely; this is something you’ve never done before
and you’re thrilled he picked an activity that will give you the whole day
together experiencing something new.

The rest of the day is spent window shopping, fruit picking
and eating some of the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted while meeting new
and fun people who are on the tour as well. Koshi is smiling his beautiful
smile the whole time, it getting bigger whenever he sees you really enjoying
yourself.

By the time you return to the train to go home, you’re full,
sleepy and happy. As you approach your door, you turn to face Koshi.

“Thank you for a wonderful birthday,” you say and kiss him
lightly.

“It’s not over yet,” he whispers then throws open the front
door.

“SURPRISE!!!”

Inside are all of Karasuno’s volleyball team, including
Coach Ukai and Takeda-sensei along with your parents and a handful of your
other friends from school.

Looking at Koshi, your eyes wide, you splutter out, “How
when
you
”

“What? Did you think you’d get away with just celebrating
with him?” Noya-san asks loudly.

“Yeah, since when do we pass up an opportunity for fun and
food?” Tanaka pipes in with a laugh.

You grin wider, moving forward to greet each friend with a
large hug. Soon the party is in full swing, talking, laughing and more eating
taking place. You’re surprised you have room for any more food, but your mom
made your favorites so you can’t pass them up.

After all the presents are opened and the guests properly
seen on their way, you hug Koshi tightly, kissing him a bit longer. “This has
been the best birthday ever,” you sigh.

“One last thing,” he says reaching in his back pocket. Moving
his hand forward, he presents a long, thin box, wrapped with a red bow. Opening
it, you find a necklace with your birth stone hanging on it.

“Oh Koshi, it’s beautiful,” you breathe out. He takes it
from your hand, turning you around so he can put it on you.

When you look back at him, he smiles. “Now it’s beautiful,”
he replies. Leaning forward he kisses you once more before saying, “Sleep well
my love, I’ll see you at school on Monday. I love you.”

As you lay your head on your pillow, you fall asleep with a
smile on your face. You’re so happy to be loved by so many people but you feel
luckiest to be loved by Koshi.

Like I said, fluff!!!! I hope you enjoyed it and that you
have a super awesome birthday!! Also, I got the idea of the date when looking
for romantic things to do in Japan. Here is the link to the site I found with a
description of the outing.

Date: Bowling. Character: Bokuto. Please and thank you â€

Hello my friend! Thanks for the request! I hope you enjoy this.

Koutaro Bokuto – Date Prompt #21 – Bowling

“Come on, Y/N, it will be fun!” Koutaro says excitedly.

“But Koutaro, I don’t even know how to play!”

“That’s ok, I’ll teach you,” he responds quickly, tugging
you by the hand.

Your continued protests fall on deaf ears; once Bokuto has
his mind set on something it’s almost impossible to deter him. Entering the
bowling alley, the sound of crashing pins and excited yells filling your ears,
you allow yourself to be led by your exuberant boyfriend to the counter where
he pays for the shoe and ball rental.

Once properly attired in two tone, slightly uncomfortable
shoes he peruses the ball racks looking for the right size for you and himself.

“Ah, this one is perfect for you!” he exclaims picking up a bright
blue one with small holes. Grasping your hand, he sizes up your fingers and declares
that he was right, it’s perfect. He releases it into your hands and you almost
drop it, not expecting the sudden weight but manage to hang on. Looking at it
more closely you see a number “6” on it and assume that is the number of pounds
it weighs.

After a few more minutes, he finds a green 9 pound ball for
himself.

“Ok, now we just put our names into the score board, hit
start game and we’re good to go,” he says happily as he types. Looking up you
blush because where your name should
be he’s put “Smol Owl” and himself as “Tall Owl”.

“There,” he says hitting the “START GAME” button. The pins
set up down the lane and you feel your palms begin to sweat. You’ve never been athletically
inclined, preferring to be a watcher rather than a player but if this will make
Kourtao happy you suppose you can try.

He holds out his hand to you, wiggling his fingers
invitingly making you giggle. A big grin splits his face as you take his hand
and walk with him towards the lane. Grabbing your ball from the return track,
he places his hand on your lower back pushing you slightly in front of him.

“Here, take this and put your middle and ring finger in the
top two holes and your thumb in the bottom,” he explains. Once you’re in
position he says, “Ok, I’m going to let go, tell me if it’s too heavy.” He
releases the ball but surprisingly you have no trouble holding onto it this
time.

Shifting your feet, you stand stock still; you’ve seen this
on TV but the thought of actually throwing a six-pound weight on purpose makes
you nervous. A deep blush forms on your cheeks when you feel Koutaro’s breath
against your neck from where he stands behind you as he says, “Ok, I’m going to
talk you through the motions, release when I tell you to.” For being such a hyperactive
guy, Koutaro can be quite a good teacher when he focuses.

“Take three strides, not too long, swinging your arm back as
you move forward. On the last step, swing your arm forward and release the
ball. Ready?”

You nod.

“Ok, one
two-“

His voice cuts off with a yell of surprise when the ball slips
from your grip flying behind you. Squealing out you turn rapidly to confront
any damages you may have caused only to see Koutaro palming the bowling ball,
his forearm muscles slightly bulged from the effort to stop the projectile.

He’s breathing a bit hard, most likely from adrenaline, but
flashes you a confident smile as he moves towards you. You’re trying hard not
to cry, completely embarrassed of doing something so stupid and dangerous but
he reaches out his left hand and places it on your neck. Rubbing his thumb over
your skin he chuckles, “Nice arm babe, but next time try throwing it towards
the pins and not me, hmmm?”

Cheeks flushed red you shake your head. “I’m not doing that
again,” you whisper.

He laughs loudly making a few people look at the two of you
which makes you blush even harder. Soft, warm lips cover yours in a gentle
kiss. Pulling back Koutaro says, “Next time we’ll play darts.”

“You really think it’s a good idea to give her a sharp
projectile?” a smooth voice says drawing both your attention to the area behind
you. Standing there are Kuroo and Yachi, the little blonde trembling almost as
much as you are.

“Kuroo!” Bokuto exclaims, then looking at Yachi he waves
enthusiastically.

“Seems you’re in the same boat as me,” Kuroo chuckles
casting side eyes at his skittish girlfriend, “We haven’t paid for a lane yet,
why don’t I take Y/N’s spot so it’s not a waste? The girls can watch while I
kick your ass.”

“Oh, it’s on!” Bokuto yells but then turns back to you
quickly, “I mean, if you’re ok with that Y/N? This is our date after all and-“

“It’s fine,” you interrupt kissing his cheek, “I’d feel bad
if I made you waste your money.”

As you pass Kuroo to sit with Yachi you hear him say to your
boyfriend, “So you know you’ll be playing as the “Smol Owl” right?”

After bowling, in which Kuroo won handedly, the four of you
continue your now double date by having dinner together. When Koutaro takes you
home later that evening you give him a long, slow kiss goodnight. As he pulls
back, eyes half hooded and a smile on his face, he asks, “What was that for?
Didn’t I basically blow our date?”

You shake your head no, leaning in to kiss him again and
then say, “I just love spending time with you and it was fun having Kuroo and
Yachi there.” Then you add, “But next time, no sports.” He grins and nods
before leanings in to kiss you once more.

Date #65 + Kageyama. Please and thank you!

Thanks for the request! I’m sorry it
took me so long to get it out but I hope you enjoy it.

Tobio Kageyama – Date Prompt #65 – Aquarium/Zoo

“Come on Tobio-kun, even you need a day off once in
a while,” you whine tugging on his hand.

“_______-chan, I can’t, we have a game in a week
and-“

“Kageyama, go with her. That’s an order. You’ve been
killing yourself the last two weeks,” Ukai says.

“But-“begins the setter but you’re already dragging
him out of the gym, calling a thanks to the coach from over your shoulder.

After a long train ride with your sullen boyfriend
muttering to himself about “wasting time” you arrive in Okinawa. Taking his
hand and making him blush you walk to the entrance of the Okinawa Churaumi
Aquarium. Tobio protests as you purchase tickets but you smile softly, “This is
my treat Tobio-kun, after all it’s me
dragging you on a date.”

Your word choice is not lost on him and he sighs,
rubbing a hand over his face as he follows you through the entrance. His hand
grabbing yours and tugging you backwards makes you squeak in surprise. Long
arms wrap around your waist, his chin resting on your shoulder making it
possible to feel his breath on your neck as he says, “______-chan, I
I’m
sorry for being a jerk. I just
”

You turn your head to plant a quick kiss on his
cheek. “I know babe,” your term of endearment making him blush even harder than
he already is, “it’s ok.”

“It’s not, but thanks for saying so,” he replies
releasing you. Reaching down he takes your hand and looks at you. “Have you
been here before?”

“Nope, first time,” you say cheerily, glad to see he’s
at least trying. Nodding once he walks to the directory and peruses the
displays.

“Did you have a particular spot you want to start or
just walk through?” he asks.

“Let’s just wander through, it’s more fun that way,”
you answer and he nods again.

Eventually you’re both enraptured by the sea life surrounding
you. As you stand next to each other staring at a giant whale shark swimming by
in the Kuroshio Sea tank you hear Tobio inhale a sharp breath. Glancing
sideways at him you’re pleased to see a small smile on his face; he’s enjoying
himself. He gives your hand a squeeze and you start moving again.

Rounding the corner, you come upon a display with
sea otters.

“Oh my goodness, they’re so cute!” you exclaim
releasing his hand, pressing yourself close to the glass to watch the cuddly
creatures play. One has a ball in its hands which he keeps tossing up in the air
and catching.

“You know,” you hear Tobio say next to you, “he kind
of reminds me a Sugawara-senpei.”

You burst out laughing, the sound making Tobio grin
at you.

Moving forward again brings you to a quiet, dimly
lit area. In the tank before you are hundreds of jellyfish, gracefully floating
up and down in the bright blue water. Sighing you sit on a bench, just watching
the tranquil creatures. Tobio sits as well, surprising you when his arm wraps
around your shoulders. Glancing side to side he nods once, then turns to you,
his free hand touching your chin and gently moving your head to look at him.
Leaning forward he kisses you and it’s a real
kiss, with slightly opened mouths and his fingers running through your hair.

When you part, slightly breathless, you ask, “What
was that for?”

He smirks. “I need a reason to kiss my girlfriend?”

“Well, no but
you’re usually not so
affectionate.
Particularly in public,” you admit, cursing yourself for spoiling the moment, especially
considering that though you are in a public place, there’s no one around
currently.

He stands and you think you’ve offended him but a
firm tug of your hand draws you up. Moving quickly, he leads you this way and
that before finally reaching a dark, almost invisible corner. He spins you
around, your back hitting the wall before lips descend to yours again in a much
more heated kiss. His hands grip your waist tightly, your own burying themselves
in his raven hair.

You stay there for a few minutes, just enjoying the
feeling of kissing and holding one another close. Coming up for air, Tobio lands
a peck on your nose. “Thanks for the date, ______-chan.”

“You’re welcome, I could tell you really needed a
break,” you say.

He shakes his head. “No, what I really needed is
you,” he replies squeezing your hand.

Later, on the way home with you asleep on his shoulder,
Tobio turns his head just enough to kiss your forehead, lingering his lips
against your skin as he murmurs, “I love you, _____-chan.”
