Feel Better – Iwa-chan

For my friend Admin Iwa-chan over at @aaaghkaashi who has been under the weather too long and I want to feel better! – Jade

Iwaizumi walks into the bedroom and looks at your form, tossing and turning thanks to an inability to breath through both nostrils. He sighs, frustrated on your behalf that this damn – whatever it is – won’t just quit.

He continues forward, kneels over you and presses his forehead to yours. You’re still warmer than he’d like. “How are you feeling?” he asks.

You shrug, leaning as his hand caresses your cheek. You miss his kisses but insist on no lip action in the hopes that he won’t catch this dreadful cold.

“Still out of it,” you admit with a wistful smile.

He frowns, plants a peck to your forehead. “I’ll get you some soup.”

He returns ten minutes later with a bowl of steaming chicken noodle soup – his mother sent it homemade when she heard you were ill – and sets it on the dresser.

After helping you lean up and putting pillows at your back he sets up a tray over your lap and places the bowl on it.

You glance around with half closed eyes. “Where’s my phone?” you ask looking up at him.

He gives you an annoyed look, but it’s not for you. “It wouldn’t stop going off since Jade, Chi and Trashykawa kept sending you stuff. And,” now the look turns affectionately stern, “you kept pushing yourself to write when you need to rest.”

You open your mouth to protest but he speaks over you, “Don’t worry, I answered the texts and queued up some of your old work.”

You blink in surprise. “Thanks.”

He shrugs. “Who else is gonna take care of you?”

You smile, crook your finger to come closer. He does, his handsome face inches from yours. Gently you turn his head and kiss his cheek. “Love you too,” you whisper.

He blushes then stands up, points to the food. “Eat your soup before it gets cold.”

I recently lost all my hair. And I’m feeling like I’m a whole different person without it (not in a good way). Is it possible to get some fluff with Noya? Just some comfort or something like that. Idk I’m just feeling badly right now and was hoping this would help cheer me up. Thanks!

Oh anon, I’m so so sorry this happened. I can’t even imagine what that would be like and I hope you know that no matter what you are a beautiful, wonderful person! I know this is a small offering but I hope it makes you smile. I’m always here to chat too. I won’t pretend to know how you feel but I can definitely listen and do my small part to make you feel better through imagines.

Noya was worried. You’d been absent from school and barely, if at all, responding to his texting. Requests to see you face to face were rejected and finally in his straightforward manner, he asked the question most pressing on his mind.

Are we breaking up, ______?

No, no! At least…I don’t want to.

You think I do?

You might but this isn’t the time to talk about this. I’m just dealing with some stuff. I…I’ll talk to you later.

That had been three days ago and you’d stopped responding all together. Over lunch with Tanaka and Asahi, Noya said, “I’m just so worried about _____! They said we weren’t breaking up but what else am I supposed to think when they won’t see me and now won’t talk to me?”

Asahi let out a uncomfortable hum, unsure how to help his friend but Tanaka said quickly, “Just go over there! If something’s really that bad you need to be there for them no matter what!”

“But they said-”

“Sometimes you have to help people even when they think they don’t need it! Look at Asahi! Without Hinata and Kageyama badgering him, he’d never had rejoined the team all those years ago!”

“I might have,” grumbled the former ace but his eyes spoke the truth; without friends he wouldn’t have gone back.

“That’s different, Ryu, this…I don’t want to make things worse!” Noya exclaimed smacking the table.

“They need you, you need them. It’s simple. Come on Noya, just go!” Tanaka insisted.

Noya glanced to Asahi who merely nodded his head. Standing, Noya raced out of the restaurant, calling back a thank you and “I owe you”.

Standing in front of their door, Noya swallowed his nerves and knocked. No answer. He tried the doorbell, it’s peal sounding through the house. He knocked again, calling out, “______? It’s me! Please, come to the door! I know you said to stay away but I can’t anymore! I care about you too much and whatever it is we can work through it!”

He held his breath, pouring all his will into you opening the door. The sound of the lock finally clicking back made his heart beat race but when you opened the door it almost stopped and he couldn’t help his jaw from dropping.

Your face was so sad, eyes with bags and cheeks blotched from crying he was sure day and night. A red nose and chapped lips told the story of many tissues being used to try to clean the mess of your grief. But what startled him was the complete and utter absence of all your hair.

“Wha…what happened?” he managed to whisper.

“It…it’s gone!” you wailed, collapsing in his arms.

Quickly he took you inside where the two of you collapsed on the couch. He held you as you cried telling him the details of why you were suddenly bald, working but failing to keep back his own tears. “Why didn’t you tell me right away?” he asked quietly rubbing his hand up and down your back.

“I…I was just so…afraid and angry and scared and worried that you’d think I was ugly and I just don’t feel like me anymore!”

Carefully Noya pulled back and looked into your eyes. “You are you because of what’s in here,” he said holding a gentle hand against your chest over your heart. “I fell in love with the person, not the body.” He leaned up, pressing a light kiss to the top of your hairless head. “And you’re still ridiculously hot, so don’t be silly.”

You snorted, reaching for a tissue to blow your nose. “It’s not that simple, Noya,” you insisted but he was pleased to hear what sounded like a smile hidden behind the Kleenex.

“It is to me, but I don’t mind if you have days you need to be upset. Just,” he sighed, taking one hand in his own, “don’t shut me out again.”

You nodded. “Sorry, I just couldn’t-”

“No more apologies. It’s done. Over. Old news.” The rest of the night you spent curled up to his side watching funny movies.

The next morning, Saeko was surprised to find Nishinoya on the front stoop of their house, a serious look on his face. “Nee-san,” he said, voice a bit rough, “I need your help.”

When he voiced his request, her eyes widened. “Noya, are…are you sure that’s what you want?” she asked.

He nodded vigorously. “Yes, I’m sure.”

The following Monday, you were back at school, thanking your professors for their understanding of your situation and patience during your absence. You were a little sad you hadn’t seen Yuu yet but figured he was busy with his own routine.

“________! Good morning!” Speak of the devil!

You turned, smile on your face but it fell away to a look of shock when you saw your boyfriend – with a shaved head – rushing towards you. He didn’t stop, throwing his arms about your waist and hefting you into a super huge hug. As he dropped you to your feet you exclaimed, “Yuu! What happened to your hair?”

He rubbed the top of his head, nerves building up. “I…I didn’t want you to be alone, so I had Nee-san help me out.”

You stood staring, tears building in your eyes. “But you didn’t….I mean….you…”

He wrapped his arms around your neck, pulling you down to kiss your lips, heedless of the eyes that stared around you. “Do you love me any less without hair?” he asked when he pulled back.

“Of course not!” you exclaimed.

He grinned. “Then you know first hand how I feel about you.” He took your hand in his, tugging you through the halls towards the exit. “Now, we’re going shopping for beanies and scarves!”

You couldn’t help laughing as the two of you made your way to the train station to head to the shops.

Pillars of Strength – Bokuto & Iwaizumi

So, some of you may have heard that Admin Emmy over at @sfw-haikyuu-nsfw is going through a rough time right now following a completely unexpected breakup. Most of us have been there, I know I have, and it’s so hard to know how to help. Sometimes, most times, the best we can do is be there for each other.

So, here’s a comfort piece, simple as it is, featuring her two fave boys. I hope you enjoy this Emmy and that it brings a smile to your face.

I’m always here to chat if you want.

-Admin Jade

“Brooo!!!! We need to do a hang out, like soon!” Bokuto
yells into his phone.

Iwaizumi grips his pencil hard enough he’s sure it’s gonna
break. He can’t believe there could be someone more annoying in the world
than Oikawa Tooru and yet, here he is. Not only that, Iwaizumi is ‘fortunate’ enough to have him as a roommate.

College algorithms have already screwed him and he’s barely
gotten started.

Just as he’s weighing the true cost of murder, his own phone
buzzes, the screen showing a message from Emmy. Are you there?

Iwaizumi frowns more than normal. Usually when she texts him
it’s with a funny joke or a picture, something to get him to smile since she
insists he always takes life way too seriously. She’d found it uproariously
funny that he’d been saddled with Bokuto as a roommate, instantly bonding with
the over exuberant male and quickly declaring their trio the Three Musketeers.
And he puts up with it, because he cares about her. She’s become one of his best
friends here, helping him ease into university and life away from high school
friends and family.

Unlocking the screen, he shoots back a text saying he is.

Can you come get me?

Now he’s worried.
He knows she has a car and if she’s in trouble, why didn’t she just call?
Better yet, why is she asking him for help rather than her boy-

His thoughts cut off mid stride, a curse hissing from his
lips. Hadn’t she just said she felt like something was off with him? Like he
was holding something back? Iwaizumi had tried to comfort her, tried to be
supportive and optimistic saying he was probably just tired or busy or some
other such inane reason for being distant. With rocks in his gut, he pushes the
CALL button, Bokuto’s voice still talking loudly in the background.

The line picks up but when she doesn’t speak Iwaizumi says gruffly, “Emmy, what’s wrong?” He hears her take in a deep breath, a
sob faltering out that makes him bunch his fist. “Where are you?” he asks next.

“At….at his house, or rather outside of it. I just…I don’t
think I can drive like this, Hajime.”

Her voice sounds so small, so broken. Bokuto laughs again, completely
unaware their friend is falling apart at the seams.

“Oi, put a sock in it Bo, I’m talking to Emmy!” Iwaizumi
shouts over his shoulder.

Something in his tone gets through to Bokuto. “Kuroo, dude,
I gotta call you back,” he says hastily, ending the call. “What’s going on?”

“Not sure yet, come on,” Iwaizumi answers, though he’s pretty sure he can guess.

“Ok,”Bokuto says as he re-enters the living room, “We have
ice cream in the freezer and pizza on the way and here’s a wine spritzer I found
stashed in the garage fridge. Now,” he takes a seat on her right while Iwaizumi
sits on her left, “tell us everything. “

They’re at his parent’s house, both of them gone for the
weekend visiting family so it’s the perfect safe haven for Emmy to let her
guard down. And she does, telling them word for word exactly what went on between her and her now ex-boyfriend. Both males have narrowed eyes and
furrowed brows, though Iwaizumi’s expression is definitely more fearsome than Bokuto’s,
the latter male rubbing circles on her back as she cries. Every so often,
Iwaizumi hands her more tissues or a glass of water to soothe her parched
throat.

Finally, when she’s finished, her legs tucked up and arms
hugging her knees, Iwaziumi speaks. “I’m going to kill him.”

“Yeah, me too!” Bokuto shouts, standing up and making his
way to the door.

“No! Please, guys, it’s not like that,” she protests.

“Like hell it’s not!” Iwaizumi fumes. “You’re one of….no…you’re
the most amazing girl I’ve ever met and he has the balls to treat you like
that? Is he fucking stupid?!”

“Emmy, you gave so much of yourself to him, how can
you not be angry?” Bokuto asks bewildered.

“I am angry! I’m angry and hurt and confused and lost and…fuck,
I’m so many things I can’t even think straight. But you guys, I can’t force him
to love me and I don’t want anyone else to try!”

“Who said anything about love? I’m going to end him for
hurting you like that!” Iwaizumi insists.

Despite his anger, she smiles through her tears. “I appreciate
the offer and maybe there’s a small part of me that wishes I could take you up
on it, but for now,” she sighs settling back into the couch, “can you please
just…hug me?”

Iwaizumi growls, wanting nothing more than to punch a wall
(or a certain someone’s face) but he relents, sitting down once more but
instead of just throwing an arm around her, he draws her completely into his
lap, wrapping her legs around his waist until she resembles a koala clutching a
tree. And he holds her, letting her cry again.

She startles slightly when Bokuto settles behind hers, arms
threading between her and Iwaizumi around her stomach, his cheek against her
back. They sit like that in silence save for her sniffles until a loud knock
breaks in upon their group hug.

“Get the door Bokuto, it’s the pizza,” Iwaizumi says.

“Awww, but I like snuggling with her,” he complains.

“Oi, owl boy, get the door! She needs to eat!”

Grumbling, Bokuto extracts himself and gets the pizza, settling
it quickly in the oven to keep it warm before heading back to his spot.
Iwaizumi rolls his eyes but holds his position, gently carding his fingers
through her hair.

“You’re amazing,” he says quietly, cheeks burning but he
needs her to hear this, “you’re amazing and he’s an idiot.”

“Yeah,” Bokuto says quietly, nuzzling her slightly pulling a
light giggle from her chest, “and even though it sucks, we know you’ll get
through it. And we’ll be here to help you.”

“You promise? Even when I’m whining or raging or look
pathetic and ugly cry and have moments I breakdown and want to see him and-“

“For all of it,” Iwaizumi assures firmly.

It takes them another ten minutes to move, but soon they’re
eating pizza and watching a stupid comedy so she can laugh and though her world
is still shaken, she smiles, because on either side of her sit two pillars of
strength who she knows won’t abandon her.

Tendou – Safe Haven

vball-baes-bball-babes:

So, B over at @guessmonsta had a rough day and in efforts to
draw up her spirits I present a slightly melancholy but overall silly piece
featuring her fave boy: Tendou Satori. Hope you feel better B!

“Tendou, you’re Princess Peach, get your ass over here!”
shouts Semi.

“Oh you are so going down, pretty boy,” Tendou exclaims
hopping over the back of the second, or possibly third, hand couch in his dorm.
He lands heavily next to Semi, his former teammate sending him a glare.

“Says the one currently playing a character sporting pink,”
retorts the blonde.

“Tch, for your information, pink happens to be my favorite
color! Plus, Peach is a badass! Make no mistake, she will fuck you up on the
track,” Tendou quips, selecting the motorcycle as his choice for race vehicle.

Semi, Reon and Goshi all make their own selections, they
being Mario, Bowser and Toad respectively.

“Heh, did you choose Toad to match the aesthetic of your
hair cut?” Tendou asks.

“Screw you fire head, let’s just get to racing so I can wipe
the track with your ass,” Goshiki shoots back.

Tendou laughs as the timer counts down to zero, each of
their representative characters jumping off the starting line with the press of
the green button. The race is fierce and filled with flying shells, mushroom
speed bursts and loud curses from all participants.

“So where’s Toshi?” Tendou asks through a hiss as Peach
barely dodges an oil slick.

“Couldn’t make it, practice,” Reon answers shortly, thumbs
moving with practiced ease sending Bowser into a perfect drift.

“Shit, can’t that guy ever get a break?”

“You know him Tendou, it’s all volleyball, all the time.
Especially after last year,” Semi comments, cursing a second later when he gets
hit with yet another red shell from
Toad. “How the fuck are you getting so many of those?!”

“They’re pity shells cause he’s in last place,” Tendou
smirks.

“Oh yeah? Pity this!” Goshiki yells, launching a blue shell
which takes out both Peach and by proximity Bowser, leaving just Mario as the
last obstacle to his glory. There’s no way the others can catch up now and with
one last screech around a bend, Toad emerges victorious with a perfectly timed
mushroom boost.

“Damn it!” Semi shouts, throwing down the controller.

“Hey! Careful with those, I got this second hand you know,”
Tendou complains taking a sip of soda.

A knock at the door draws all their attention, Tendou
standing to open it since they’re in his dorm. “Probably the pizza guy,” he
calls over his shoulder, unnecessary considering they’re in a single room
together. When he opens it, it’s to find a rather cute, but annoyed looking
girl standing in the hall. “Definitely not the pizza guy,” he comments lowly.

“What? You know what, never mind, I don’t care,” she snips.
Fixing fierce eyes on him she goes on, “Do you think it possible for you to
keep it down? There are some in this hall trying to actually get work done
around here.”

Tendou leans against the threshold, crossing his arms.
Smiling he replies, “Working is for classrooms and libraries, where else are we
supposed to unwind?”

“The bar? A club? Hell, go back to your parents’ basement
for all I care, just keep the noise down!”

Tendou’s smile widens; he likes her snark. “One, we’re under
age still so no bars. Two, do we,” he points behind him to the guys now
watching the proceedings, “look like the clubbing type to you? I think not. And
three, as long as we’re throwing around stereotypes here, why don’t you take
your self-centered, eldest child, type A personality and chill the fuck out? We
just got out of high school, time to live a little before we hook on the ball
and chains of responsible society, don’t you think?’

As he’s been talking, her cheeks have been growing steadily
redder and redder with each point he nails on the head. Tendou likes a good
battle of wits and insults and this little lady had no idea whose door she was
pounding on when she attempted to exert a guilt trip.  Her mouth opens to retort, only for the pizza
guy to finally arrive.

“Order for Tendou Satori?” he asks looking between them.

“That’s me! Oi, you lot of losers! Gimme your penance,” he
says, hand out to receive money from Semi and Reon after which he draws the
remaining balance from his own wallet. Handing the guy the money, along with a
small tip because he’s not a complete asshole, Tendou passes the two pizzas
to Semi who takes them to his desk. Looking back at the girl still fuming
outside his door he grins.

“I’d offer for you to join us but since you’re a no-nonsense
type, I’m sure it will be a waste of breath. Have a good night.” He’s about to
shut the door when her hand slams against it startling him. “You’re a dick,”
she glowers. There’s a pause and he can’t wait to see what comes next. Taking a
deep breath, she looks up into his eyes. “But you’re also right.” Tendou’s so
stunned he almost falls over. With less hostility and a slightly shakier tone
she goes on, “I…I’d really like that…if you’re serious.”

He blinks, unsure what exactly just happened but steps to
the side, silently offering her entrance. A moment later, he’s introduced all
of them, including himself properly, before they settle to consume their meal
of cheese, carbs and grease.

“Being an adult, or at least transitioning into one, sucks,”
she comments around a bite of pizza.

“Amen to that,” Reon replies toasting his slice with hers.

“So, what’re you studying?” Semi asks politely.

“Chemistry, it’s a bitch.”

“Shit, you must be a genius or something. I’m barely making
it through my general ED, still tryin’ figure out what I wanna do,” Goshiki
remarks.

“Hey! No gloom and doom talk here, guys! This is our time to
shut out the rest of the world and just have fun! To forget our problems and worries,”
Tendou proclaims. Deftly he slides the controller into their new companion’s
hands, a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.

“You gotta earn your keep sweetheart, that pizza doesn’t pay
for itself you know.”

Leaning forward, she bops his nose. “Bring it on, pretty
boy.”

Semi laughs uproariously at the look on Tendou’s face as his
cheeks heat up but the red head recovers quickly, sliding next to her with a
controller of his own. The race is intense, but she emerges victorious,
whooping and hollering about her win.

“Hey, you might wanna keep it down, I hear there’s a warden
about these halls,” Tendou teases.

“Then we’ll just tell them to go fuck themselves. It’s our
time to be young and alive, right?”

He grins, shoving his shoulder into hers. “You got it,
warden.”

“Shut up and race, pretty boy.”

And for the rest of the night into the wee hours of the
morning, Tendou, Semi, Reon and Goshiki provide what she never knew she needed.
A safe haven away from the responsibilities and expectations piled on her till
she can’t breathe. They let her laugh and curse and belch without judgement.
They tease and mock her, treating her quickly like one of their own.

But most of all, they allow her to just be a “kid”.

This was posted a bit later last night and it’s another piece I’m actually pretty proud of since sometimes I feel like I struggle with dialogue and this came out pretty much exactly how I wanted. So I’m reblogging cause I’m happy with it.

Salty and Sweet – For @imagine-that-haikyuu

It’s my turn to return the favor of fluff for admins Rachel
Lauren and May over @imagine-that-haikyuu! I hope you gals enjoy these
drabbles and that they bring smiles to your faces!

Tsukishima Kei (for admin May) – I used the same prompt list
you did because this was perfect for Kei.

Is this for me?”

Tsukishima looks up from his place at the kitchen table,
pencil poised as he pauses to look at what you’re pointing to.

“Tch, it’s got your name on it, doesn’t it?” he scoffs
looking back down at his notes.

“Well, yeah, but, it’s the last piece and-“

“Look, if you don’t want it just say so, it’s not-“

“No!” you say empathically, taking a big bite of the cream,
berry and cake concoction. Your low moan of appreciation fills the void of
silence. “Your mom really does make the best strawberry shortcake,” you praise taking another bite as you sit in the chair nearest Kei.

He shrugs. “It’s alright I guess,” he mumbles.

You roll your eyes, taking yet another bite, but before you
can lick the cream from your lips, Kei’s own are covering them. The kiss is a
bit sloppy but sweet in more ways than one. As he pulls back, he smirks at your
shocked expression.

“I never said you didn’t have to share.”

Azume Asahi (for admin Rachel Lauren) – I took that anon’s HC
of Asahi giving up his jacket or shirt for his girlfriend. Prompt from this list.

All day the sky has threatened to unleash a fury of water
but of course it would wait to do so right when you’re exiting the bus. Running
wildly, you rush to Asahi’s door, banging hard upon the wood. Asahi whips it
open, eyes widening a bit at your soaked and disheveled state.

“Babe, geez, get in here,” he says pulling you by the hand.

“Thanks Asahi, I thought I was gonna drown standing up!”

“Go get in the shower to warm up, I’ll get some tea going,”
he advises nudging you towards the hall after pecking your cheek.

As you walk towards his room, you pop your head in to Daichi’s
giving him a quick wave hello.

“Hey ______-chan, looks like you got caught in it huh?”

You shrug. “Yeah, mother nature decided to weep on me.” You
look around curiously. “Where’s Suga?”

“Hot date, you know that boy, can’t stay away from his lady.”

You giggle, moving away to Asahi’s room. Disrobing
hurriedly, you realize you don’t have a change of clothes. Casting your eyes
about, you grab an old, worn in t-shirt of Asahi’s along
with some drawstring sweatpants.

Warmed and refreshed from your shower, you walk into the
living room where Asahi has lit a fire and has two cups of steaming tea along
with some cookies on a tray waiting for you. He turns, eyes widening and a
faint flush erupting over his cheeks.

“Wha..what?” you ask faintly.

He holds out his hand, drawing you into a warm, tight
embrace. Against your ear he whispers, “You look good in my shirt.”

“I’m so lucky to have met you.”

Ukai wasn’t quite sure what came
over him. Maybe it was the beautiful panoramic view of Miyagi from the top of
the cliff, windows shining with warm house lights, and stars sprinkled in the
night sky. Maybe it’d just been a long day and holding your hand and watching
the scenery with you did him in. Or maybe, over the years there were just so
many things he wasn’t able to say to you and these were the only words he could
muster at this moment.

Either way, you whipped your head
to look at him, the words clearly the last thing you expected to come from his
mouth. You knew he wasn’t one to express his emotions in words. He was more an
“actions speak louder than words” kind of guy. And while you didn’t mind it so
much, the words he just said brought a pink flush to your face. Your hand
tightened on his.

You swallowed, quickly thinking
of a smart reply. “And what brought this on?” you said softly, holding down
your hair with your free hand as a gust of wind passed. It was far from the
best reply you could give—but damn,
those words were like frigging dynamites.

Ukai scratched the back of his neck.
“Not really sure, either.” His face was pensive as he looked at the skyline.
“Probably because I don’t really say it often. And you deserve to know how much
you mean to me, Y/N.” Ukai looked squarely at you, eyes piercing, twinkling
under the light of the stars.

And you couldn’t really say
anything after that. It wasn’t everyday that he was so honest with his feelings
with you, after all, and you didn’t want to ruin the moment. You gripped his
hand tightly and moved in to hug him, your other hand clutching hard at his
jersey.

Ukai laced your fingers together
and caressed the back of your head with the other, a fond smile on his face.
With two years of a relationship under your belt, he knew that you were just
too overwhelmed to form any words right now. Ukai bent his head and kissed your
crown.

“I—,” you said, the words
slightly muffled against his shirt. You raised your head and sniffed, eyes
glassy. “I love you, too,” you barely choked out, and then followed it with, “Oh
my god, Keishin, you are the best thing to ever happen to me and I’m so lucky
to have you and thank you for always being with me—,” you broke off with a sob.

“Hey, hey,” Ukai said, gently
cupping your face with both hands and pressing a soft peck to your lips. “I could
say the same to you, kiddo.” He waited until your breathing calmed and you were
able to look him in the eye. “I love you, Y/N. With all my heart.”

And you could swear your whole world
just grew bigger. The stars shined brighter. The wind gentled to a caress. You
knew this was going to be a night you remembered for the rest of your life as
your tears returned and you embraced Ukai tightly with a smile on your face.

Thank you precious May! I needed this (as my latest post attests) and appreciate it so, so much!

ourneverendingpossibilities:

This is a little something I wrote for Jade, @vball-baes-bball-babes . Featuring our beloved Knee-sock senpai, Kasamatsu!! It’s pure fluff, and I kind of used a sentence starter because I’m lame haha. Anyway, I hope you like this Jade!!

“I could sit here with you forever.”

It slipped out of your mouth before you could stop yourself.. Heat rose to your cheeks, and you could feel your hand shake nervously in his own sweaty palm..

Oh god.. What did you say?!

While you were having your mini panic attack, Kasamatsu wasn’t doing any better, finding his lungs tight. He never thought you’d say something like that on the third date, but here you are, surprising him by saying one of the most corny things he’s heard..

And Moriyama has said some rather.. Interesting things..

He doesn’t know why his chest is tight, constricted with several emotions, but he tries not to think about it. Rather, he focuses on your palm being as shaky and nervous as his own.. And it makes him wonder..

Were you nervous?

He licks his lips, trying to find the words to say, because you weren’t looking at him, and he felt so helpless in this situation.. He was never great with women, so the fact you went on three dates with him was surprising enough.. But instead, he finds himself yanking on your hand, pulling you into his lap as the two of you stared out into the sunset..

Don’t say anything corny.. Don’t say anything –

“I could sit here with you forever too…”

If you were blushing before, you were redder now, and you felt his face hide in the crook of your neck, his hot breath ghosting over your skin.. You swallow, and you find your hand linking with his, and pulling it to your chest, resting it over your heart..

Licking your lips, you sigh, feeling a gentle smile curl on the edge of your lips.

“I didn’t know you were able to say such a thing… Kasamatsu-kun..”

You muffled your mouth when he made a squawk of some sort, before resting your head against his shoulder, inhaling the fresh air. You turned your gaze to his, realizing he was staring at you with an unknown emotion in his eyes..

And suddenly, you were left breathless when his mouth covered yours.

His hand moved to lightly cup your cheek, and made the kiss so tender, you thought you’d cry. This was definitely not the Kasamatsu you were used to seeing on the basketball courts.. Or seeing beat up Kise in the halls…

There was a gentle side to him, and you were fortunate enough to see it.

He pulled back, cheeks flared and eyes slightly dilated, before letting out a soft sigh. Although it was gentle, it wasn’t enough, and you found yourself tugging on his hair before latching onto his mouth once more, trying to push closer.

Well, although he was nervous for the first two dates, the third released a side of Kasamatsu you’ve never seen before, and you were counting your lucky stars to be able to witness it.

He’s a good kisser too.

So sweet! Thank you so much, I’m smiling from ear to ear!

“Would you like to move in with me?”

The question lands like a pebble in still water. It’s late morning when Ukai asks this; you’ve both only woken up a while ago and are still working on your first cups of coffee. You spent the night as his again—the third time this week–the same as other weeks too. But he’s far from complaining.

In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Three nights a week is four too short for his liking. He’s starting to notice how quiet it really is the nights you aren’t there. Something’s off in how big his mattress is without you and how he can’t expect your giggling as he’s trying to fall asleep because you thought about that dopey seal video again.

“What?”

Your question is like when the next pebble falls in not three seconds after the first. The ripples in the water are already there, now interrupted with competing waves. He’d barely thought about this before prompting the discussion. Ukai chides himself a little for asking something so important with such a non-chalant approach. You said you always liked that about him, but this wasn’t just your regular old chat to pass the time together.

A little embarrassed, he starts to explain, “Well, we’ve been together for a while now and you’re always over anyway. I think…I think I’ve really taken to the idea of getting to see you here all the time when I come home.”

Your eyes widen at his explanation, but soften only moments later. From a small “o,” your lips curve into a smile.

“I really like that idea too, having you come home to me every night,” you say.

Ukai can hardly contain his grin. When you lean in to kiss him, he pulls you into his lap. This earns a laugh from you, which settles into a giggle when he presses your lips to yours.

He can’t wait for this every day.

Rachel Lauren you beauty! This is so sweet and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you taking time to do this and make me smile.

Kasamatsu – Indulgence

This is titled as such because this is an indulgence of a
smooth AF Kasamatsu that is not only a little present for @ourneverendingpossibilities
to cheer her up but for my own thirst as well.

Enjoy!

Kasamatsu walks in the door, his brief case dropping to the
ground with a thud as he sighs. Shoes kicked off, keys hung up he walks down
the hall absentmindedly loosening his tie before shrugging out of his suit
jacket.

It’s been a bitch of a day.

These kids just drive him nuts! Sympathy for his former high
school teachers floods his mind as he rounds the bed and flops backwards upon
it. Closing his eyes, he takes a deep breath. It’s quiet and cool in the room,
darkness long since fallen. And it’s only now that he realizes…his wife didn’t
greet him.

Is he really so strung out in his own head that he completely
missed the fact she didn’t call out to him? That there were no sounds of dinner
being cooked from the kitchen? Groaning he sits up, irritated with himself at
taking her for granted. He moves back down the hall, calling out, “_______?
Babe? Are you here?”

“In here, Yukio.” Her reply is muffled making him frown deeper.
As he enters the living room the reason becomes clear. She tucked into a corner
of the couch, knees drawn up and arms around her shins with her face pressed
into a throw pillow.

And he thought he
had a bad day.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” he asks moving quickly to her side,
flicking on the table lamp and drawing down the obstruction from her face. Her
eyes are red rimmed and puffy, clear evidence of crying, and her hair is tousled
as if she’s been running her hands through it over and over. “Shit, what
happened?” he asks again, arms wrapping around her shoulders.

“No…nothing really, just…I’m so stressed out! The schedule
got screwed up this afternoon so I had to work a double so I missed my shared
ride and had to take the bus which of
course
I got on the wrong one so I was super late getting home. I put
dinner in but I had the oven at the wrong temperature so it burned to hell. It
smelled so bad I had to take the whole garbage out and practically do a
biohazard cleaning of the kitchen.”

He holds back a smirk as she takes a deep breath.

“Then I wanted to get your favorite from that take out place
but no, they had to have a catered
event tonight which meant they weren’t taking any other orders and by the time
that was over I couldn’t even breathe!” She’s crying again, tears pouring down
her cheeks. “And I’m a mess and I stink and all I wanted was to have something nice
waiting for you when you got home because I know those kids are driving you up
the wall and then you had practice to run and you’re under appreciated there
too and-“

Kasamatsu leans forward, lips covering hers to stem the
flow. She tenses, still not used to his more dominant nature from time to time,
before relaxing into his hold, allowing him to manipulate her lips with his
own. Pulling back, he looks in her eyes, “Babe, if anyone in this room is under
appreciated it’s you.” He covers her
protests with another kiss, murmuring against her mouth, “You’re the most
amazing wife in the world to put up with an ass like me and I’m sorry. I know I’ve
been distracted with all the shit going on at school. It doesn’t help with the
Winter Cup coming up and I know you’re just as supportive now as you were when
I was actually on the team.”

He cups her cheek, nuzzling her nose. “Sometimes I forget to
lift my head and really look at what I have in front of me.” She melts at his
words, smile teasing her lips. “That’s better,” he whispers, kissing her again.
God, it feels so long since he’s just kissed
her.

“Yukio, I’m a mess, let me at least wash my face,” she
complains though her tone is lighter now.

“Tell you what,” he murmurs against her throat, mouth barely
moving away to form words, “why don’t you take a shower and get comfortable
while I get us something to eat, hmm? And then later,” he trails his nose up
the side of her neck, nibbling her ear before whispering, “I’m gonna spend the
rest of the night showing you how
much I appreciate you.”

Dinner over, Kasamatsu lights candles about the bedroom,
soft music playing from their dock station. Turning around, his mouth goes dry
when she walks in the room, hair half dried and wavy, a simple cotton tank and
short pajama set he bought for her birthday on. Her face is devoid of makeup,
natural beauty shining.

“How did I get so lucky?” he asks quietly and she blushes.

“Since when did you turn into mister smooth?” she counters earning
a blush of her own.

He shrugs, handsome smile tilting his lips. “Guess you just
bring out the best in me.”

His answer, so sweet and honest, stops any teasing retort
she can come up with. He holds out his hand, gesturing her closer and drawing
her into his arms. Lips meet once more in a chaste kiss. He can tell she wants
more but he’s got his own agenda tonight. Pulling away, he guides her onto the
bed to her stomach.

The bed dips further as he kneels beside her, a light moan
escaping her lips as his strong hands begin manipulating the muscles of her
back and shoulders. “You’re so tense,” he chides and she nods against the
pillow.

“Take a deep breath,” he instructs pushing down as she
exhales earning three pops of her back.

“Oh god,” she groans and he can’t stop a chuckle.

“That should help,” he comments, sliding to her lower back.
After a few minutes of kneading, he pushes up the fabric to touch her skin. “I’ve
always loved how warm and soft your skin is,” he confesses, lips lightly
kissing up her spine. “No matter the season, you always feel like summer. Warm,
soft and smooth.”

She hums appreciation, voice lost to the sensation of his
touch but he wants her relaxed, wants her absorbing his words with no obligation
to reciprocate except in allowing him to do as he pleases.

A slightly husky moan cuts through the room when he squeezes
her ass. “God, this ass…just…mmmmmh you’re so sexy.” He trails further downward,
palms rubbing firmly over the backs of her strong thighs, an area of her body
he knows she worries. “Your legs are so damn gorgeous baby,” he asserts,
planting slow open mouth kisses down every inch. “I remember the first time I
saw you without tights on. Kise thought I’d had an aneurism there was so much
blood gushing out my nose.”

“Only you could say something that gross and make it sound
romantic,” she chides, squeaking when he tickles behind her knees. He chuckles,
returning to his enjoyment of her skin, kisses and love nips being given all
the way to the backs of her ankles.

He lifts one foot, rubbing and rotating to dispel its
tension before moving to the other. Done with her back side, he turns her over,
pushing firmly over the tops of her shins, massaging her knee caps before
grasping the meat of her thighs and squeezing. A whimper of protest sounds from
her mouth but his kisses turn it into a sigh.

“Stop fretting over your thick thighs, I fucking love them,”
he growls, hunger growing but he holds back. This is all about her tonight,
every bit of it and damn it if he isn’t going to continue that. His hands reach
her hips, kneading the flesh before rolling further up over the sensuous curve
of her waist. Lifting her shirt exposes her breasts and he takes in a deep
breath. Gently he lifts her, carding the shirt over her head to leave her top
bare before him.

Lightly he traces patterns over her chest drawing goosebumps
to the surface of her skin. Her eyes are half hooded, breathing deep and even
but her heart is racing. He can see the want, the need in her gaze.

It’s like a siren call.

Kasamatsu leans down, breath ghosting over her skin until
she’s keening, “Please Yukio, stop teasing me.”

“I’m not teasing you babe,” he assures, mouth barely
touching her nipple. “I’m worshiping you.”

“Then do it with a little more oomph!”

He laughs, shooting up to capture her mouth in a deep, long,
tongue filled kiss. He palms her breast, his touch making her arch and squirm. “Damn
it you’re gonna make me lose focus,” he grunts.

“I’d say you’re plenty focused,” she retorts, lifting her
knee to graze her thigh against his growing erection.

“Just,” he pulls back, eyes serious when he looks down at
her. “Do you understand? Do you really understand how much I love you? How much
I want and appreciate everything
about you?”

Her hands cup his face, drawing him closer to her own as she
nods. “I do, I understand Yukio. But if you don’t fuck me right now-“

Whatever she was going to threaten him with gets swallowed
by another fiery kiss, her shorts ripped from her body. In little time, he’s as
naked as she, hot skin pressed to hot skin.

“Tell me,” he moans in her ear, “tell me what you want.
Anything and everything is yours.”

Her lips capture his once more, hands carding through his
hair. “Just love me, Yukio, just love me.”

And he does.

All night long.
