“Hey,” a gruff voice says next to you making you jump. 

When you look up, there’s Yamazaki Hiroshi, with…is that a balloon in his hand?

“This is fer you,” he grunts, roughly pushing the string into your hand. Bewildered you look at him again only to hear a snickering that gives you pause. 

Glancing behind, you see the rest of his team watching the proceedings and frown. It’s one thing to be teased on Valentine’s Day, it’s another to be teased by the guy you, for whatever reason, actually like. 

You open your mouth to give him a piece of your mind only to snap it closed when you feel the press of lips to your cheek. “There’s more where that came from,” he smirks, grabbing your hand and dragging you off. 

Blind date!

Standing by the fountain, you twist the edge of your jacket nervously. It isn’t every day you find yourself on a blind date! Your friend hadn’t been very specific, only saying he was kind, a little shy (maybe a lot) and was adorable. 

“______?”

Your name, spoken softly but clearly, has you turning around where you find Yamaguchi Tadashi standing with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. 

His cheeks are a little pink, highlighting his freckles in the cutest fashion. “I hope you don’t mind such a simple date, I thought it would be a good way to get to know each other a bit better,” he explains. 

You nod, thanking him for the flowers and falling in step with him, the two of you making way towards the serene pond, enjoying the colors of the sky as the sun sets.Â
