seijohstardust:

Welcome to The High Street, a 21+ Haikyuu RP server!

Set on a bustling high street somewhere in the prefecture of Tokyo, this RP centres around the many businesses running there, their employees, and their customers – think of it like a coffee shop AU, tattoo shop AU, florist AU and more, all rolled into one.

For more information and available characters, check out the server here!

Welcome to my new addiction! If anyone is interested in joining the madness (and fun) please click for more details.

Admin Jade plays Daichi 😉

I started a thing…

So, I know I haven’t been super active here and for that I do apologize.

I could go into some of the reasons why but mostly, writing comes and goes, my energy level goes up and down and I’m focusing more on what makes me happy than what I feel obligated to do (hopefully that makes sense and doesn’t sound too bratty).

That being said, I finally posted the first (super small) fic of a series I’ve been wanting to start on AO3 for Yachi.

I am a serial shipper for her and this is where I will put my fun pieces as inspiration, time and energy hit me.

Some will be short, some will be long, some may have multiple chapters, but they’re all being stored in:

The Good Ship Yachi

I hope you’ll pop over to AO3 and read, maybe leave a kudo or a comment if you feel they’re earned.

Thanks again for everyone’s patience and support!

NEW ADMIN !!

todorosky:

Goodnight, or good day to all of you!!

I want to introduce you to the magnificent new admin.

Admin Jade !!!!

She also has a Haikyuu/Kuro No Basket blog @vball-baes-bball-babes. (In case you want to check that out!)  Her writing is amazing, and we have been friends for a while now!!! We came to the conclusion that it would be super fun to run a blog together, and she had recently joined the BNHA fandom.

So she will be joining me, and you’ll start to read about her pretty soon !!!

Feel free to ask her anything you would like to know about her!!!

I’m sure you’ll enjoy her work!!!

-Admin Bunny.

Hey guys.

I know things have been fairly stagnant here in terms of new content but honestly, I’ve just been so unmotivated to write which makes me so sad.

Even with adding Yowa and Free, I’m still struggling to really get my brain going.

But then…I started watching BNHA with my husband and felt the wheels start turning.

I reached out to Admin Bunny and she graciously accepted my request/offer to join her as an admin on her new BNHA blog and so here I go into another fandom!

I really hope anyone of you who follow me here will join us there. The anime is amazing, the characters all so wonderful and the fandom is excited because SEASON 3 is coming next week!

Anyway, I’m not leaving here but I have a feeling I’ll be decidedly distracted for a while and would love for anyone here to come join the fun.

Thanks Bunny for allowing me to step into this world with you and have fun writing for these beloved characters!

MARCH MADNESS!!!

Hey guys!

So, I’m really sorry for the slow content around here. I really thought picking the asks would help with my inspiration but it hasn’t been going as well as I’d hoped.

That being said, I miss interacting with you all and always love seeing your ideas.

So, I’m opening the ask box for MARCH MADNESS!

You can request to your heart’s content. Have multiple ideas? Send them in (one idea per ask so I can keep them straight).

Want a continuation of a scenario? Drop it in.

Have a song you’d love a scene written for? Let me know!

I’ve even seen people send songs with no character and the writer picks who it reminds them of. That sounds like fun, right?

I’ll even try my hand again at ascetic boards thanks to some tips from Gabby over at @baesketballers

I’d love to receive fluff, domestic, AUs, the sky’s the limit.

You don’t have to ask on anon either (unless that’s what you prefer).

That being said, I have no idea how many asks I’ll end up doing or how long it will take to get to them, but I’m going to try leaving the box open through March.

That’s right, I’m leaving the box open the ENTIRE month!

Now, that doesn’t guarantee I’ll do EVERY ask I get but I’d like to be available to receive requests and do those which jar my inspiration.

I have no idea how this will go but we’ll discover that together.

Thank you all for your continued patience and support as I work to figure out what works for me as a writer. I do really love these fandoms and want to continue writing for them.

Oh, and I’m going to extend my anime selection to include Yowamushi Pedal again. I tried opening a separate blog but it didn’t work out well, so if you have some asks for that anime, drop them in.

This will be crazy but that’s why it’s called March Madness!

Happy requesting!

Welcome Admin Jade!

imagine-knb:

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally my pleasure to introduce you to the newest member of the imagine-knb crew, Admin Jade! You all may recognize her writing from another popular sport anime imagines blog, @vball-baes-bball-babes. She’s a wonderful author and I’m sure I can speak for most of us when I say that I’m super excited to see her contributions to the blog!

-Neon

Since it’s official, I announce it here too.

I have joined the admin team over at @imagine-knb! I’ll be writing under the same handle as here and look forward to many fun prompts and shenanigans with a blog dedicated to our wonderful basketball babes!

If you aren’t following them (us) already please do so! We’d love for you to join in the KNB fun!

Worry not, though, I am very much still dedicated to this (my main) blog. I’ve just wanted to join a team for a while and I felt @imagine-knb was a good fit so I’m SUPER excited and honored to join them!

PSA: Feedback Feeds Muses

bleachfanficfanatic:

This most definitely does not apply to everyone and to those
who already do this, I and other artists, writers, creators, thank you.

And even though I’m nervous, I feel like this is something
that must be said so if this comes across as whining or preaching forgive me.
PLEASE tell your fave blogger/authors/artists when you like, love, or even if
you dislike something they’ve created.

Most of, if not all of us, pour HOURS into thinking, creating,
mulling, tweaking, perfecting, stressing, agonizing and crafting whatever
content we put out. We are fulfilling requests with our free time to try to
make something to be enjoyed by the masses or by a person who requested it only
to have little to no one comment, compliment or seem to take notice.

Think of it this way: imagine you’re a singer, a comedian,
an actor (or what have you) on stage and you’re giving a performance. You’ve
poured your blood, sweat and tears into what you’re doing. At the end of your
song, joke, whatever the audience before you is completely silent, or maybe one
or two people clap, maybe cheer quietly. Sure, maybe they are smiling but you
can’t see that because of the lights in your eyes, the distance between you and
them. Maybe in their head they’re thinking, “That was great” or “I really loved
this part” or “That really moved me” but if they don’t act upon those thoughts
and emotions the artist will never know.

That’s what it feels like to us as authors/artists who post
something to over hundreds (some thousands) of followers and get minimal response.

It takes literally seconds for a reader to hit the like
button, re-blog, leave a quick note or even send a DM or an Ask that is thanking the artist/writer for their work that took hours for them to complete.

Art for art’s sake is fine, and by and large the majority of
us who create content do it because we love it, but everyone needs
reassurance that the people are there and are paying attention. I’m not saying everyone has to like everything, that’s not realistic, but the numbers just aren’t adding up and we, the creators, are starting to feel it.

Imagine an author/artist strike; no more new content to
enjoy because the ones creating it got so tired of pouring so much of
themselves into something it seems like no one is paying attention to anyway. Because people are not bothering to thank them for things they requested.

We don’t want/need false praise (at least I don’t) but we
need something. Even if you don’t
like something tell us (respectfully) so that we can grow and hone our craft.

None of us like begging for reviews, kudos, etc. so please
don’t think that is all this is.

This is, like so many posts of the same
variety, the honest, heartfelt feelings of a writer who, for herself and all
the others like her, hopes readers will understand a bit better why we don’t
just want your feedback, we need it.
And we shouldn’t be made to feel guilty for that.

This is something I shared on my Bleach blog. Creators need to hear from their audience. Even if all you do is hit the heart button, that fuels us.
