how about mayuzumi chihiro?

Sorry these are kind of boring but I don’t really have
strong opinions on this character. I don’t dislike him and have actually
enjoyed a couple imagines with him but overall, he’s just not one I focus on.

First impression: Carbon copy of Kuroko and Akashi’s back
handed way of showing Kuroko he’s replaceable, that he’s not the only one who
can do what he does.

Impression now: A bit sad for him that most of the entirety
of his basketball experience was being used as he was.

Favorite moment: Him telling Akashi off, man that was
intense and so needed! Prior to that moment, I didn’t really have strong
feelings for him one way or the other but I LOVED that he had the balls to put
that arrogant bastard in his place.

Idea for a story: Honestly, I don’t have one, he’s not a
character I really think about (I guess that’s the point given he was the
replacement shadow)

Unpopular opinion: Again, I don’t know that I have one.

Favorite relationship: I don’t know that he really has one?
I mean, at the end when Akashi gets his head out of his ass you can see where
possibly they could have had a somewhat amiable friendship (maybe). Overall,
his passion for reading is the closest to a relationship I saw and since I love
books too I can totally relate to just wanted to be in your own world away from
the annoyances of life.

Favorite headcanon: That he goes on to play basketball in
college and becomes less of a shadow, coming into his own and showing what he’s
capable of.

[Fun Prompt Friday] What is your favorite headcanon that has to do with HIMURO TATSUYA?

That he and Kagami actually mend their relationship through the remainder of their high school years. Like, they get together to play one on one just for fun (though they still trash talk each other like crazy of course) and the closeness they had before is replenished.

They challenge each other again and instead of it being a matter of pride alone, they actually care about the other.

Thanks for the question, sorry it took me so long to answer!

KnB questions: 7. What are your otps/brotps/notps? 8. Favorite match 13. Favorite Ace: 17. Opinion about Teiko arc: 33. Favorite scene ;)

I am so sorry this took
me so long to answer. I’d intended to answer the same weekend asks were sent in
but clearly that did not happen. Thank you for participating!

7. What are your
otps/brotps/notps?

OTP: So hard to pick
between KiyRiko or HyuRiko because I love both those boys SO MUCH. However,
given what we’ve seen in the anime, I have to give it to Hyuga/Riko. As Kiyoshi
so eloquently put it, he pushes the team and Riko pulls them. They are a strong
pair who despite their differences are so in tune with each other it’s quite
beautiful. And we can see how much Hyuga cares for her, subtle as he tries to
be.

BROTPS: Oh gosh, THIS is
even harder because there are so many amazing friendship/broship developments
made. But I’ll give it to my first instinct which is Midorima x Takao. I simply
love how persistent Takao is in his friendship with our resident tsundere. His ability
to let go of the grudge he held in favor of improving himself is just amazing
and how he is one of the catalysts that pulls Midorim into a more team focused
basketball play is beautiful.

NOTPS: Pretty much any
of the boys romantically involved with one another. To me, you can have the
depth and breadth of feelings these teammates and friends have for one another
without the need to romanticize them. They respect each other, fight with each
other, lift each other up and challenge each other but in my eyes, it’s all
from a place of friendship or broship, not romance or lust. I’m sure it’s an
unpopular opinion but just as I respect those who have a right to their
interpretation, I hope mine will be as well.

8. Favorite match: May
be a surprise but Rakuzan vs. Shutoku, heartbreaking as the outcome ended up
being. It’s my favorite because we finally get to see Midorima really become a
part of his team, to acknowledge them verbally as being valuable to him and
that he’s willing to put his trust in them completely. The part where Takao passes
the ball to him perfectly in shooting stance made me cheer. These lines: “"There’s not a single player on this team
who’s a hindrance
” and “This is
a gamble. More than I need to believe in myself, I must believe in my
teammates. Even if I do everything I can, it’s not enough. But I don’t feel any
uncertainty. In this team, everyone is doing everything they can!”
gave me
chills! His development, though subtle and understated, comes through with a huge
bang in this game. I loved it.

13. Favorite Ace: Despite
all my talk of Midorima above, I feel like my fave ace is Kise. When we first
meet him, I thought he was quite annoying but his development drew me in. The
shift in his perspective and the respect he learned to give his senpais made me
feel proud of him. Laying everything down, he gave all of himself to beat
Aomine and it was so gut-wrenching to watch it not work.  His and Kasamatsu’s broship is my second
favorite (cheating a bit I know, sorry).

17. Opinion about Teiko
arc:
(Copy and paste from previous response) It made me sad overall. Yes, it was
fun to watch the boys all meet each other and get an insight into how that team
came together but watching them fall apart was just heart breaking. I did
appreciate it though to understand Kuroko’s motivation more.

33. Favorite scene: There
are too many and all for different reasons! But what pops into mind right away
is Kuroko’s conversation with Hyuga when he asks to be benched. I loved seeing
Hyuga being a good captain, putting his kohai in his place. The flash back of
Hyuga talking to Kagami and the revelation that he wasn’t saying goodbye just
hit me in the heart. And when Kuroko confronts him about it and confesses his
ulterior motive I felt relieved to see them both being honest with one another.
Their trust was built higher in that moment and it left me really excited to
see what was going to happen next. I know that’s a few scenes together but they
all roll together in my head as one long moment between Kuroko and Kagami.

Thanks again for
participating!
