I’m so glad you’re back! Can I please have head canons of Daichi, Sugawara, Asahi, Iwaizumi, Oikawa and Aone adopting a pet with their s/o? I couldn’t find your rules so I hope I didn’t go over the character limit. Thank you!

haikyuu-plus:

[Rules are not visible when you’re on mobile (also because I didn’t put a link in my description), but Admin Jade is fine with our Karasuno third years!]

Sawamura

  • Sawamura would try to raise his and his partner’s puppy early on, scolding it calmly whenever it accidentally peed on the floor or chewed up one of his shoes
  • At first he wouldn’t agree to it sleeping in their bed, but he would slowly come to accept it, after feeling it curled up on his side every single morning
  • He would probably take naps with the dog sleeping on his belly, and even though he would sometimes struggle to breath with each month of the puppy growing, he certainly wouldn’t want to miss it

Sugawara

  • Sugawara wouldn’t mind getting something more exotic, agreeing with his partner that a parrot would make quite the interesting pet
  • Upon discovering that their pet had the talent to repeat certain sentences almost too perfectly, he would start teaching it different phrases -> he would mainly focus on compliments aimed at his partner and whenever the bird, sitting on his shoulder, repeated that his partner looked stunning, a cheeky grin would pull up the corners of his mouth
  • Sugawara also wouldn’t be able to hold back his laughter whenever the parrot left a poopy souvenir on Daichi’s back

Asahi

  • He would agree that perhaps starting with something small was a good idea, since he would worry a lot about not being able to care for it properly
  • Asahi would let his partner choose one of the many hamsters in a pet shop and would fight the urge to grip the fabric of the shirt covering his chest when his partner showed him the fluffball that was their child now
  • His hands would always get shaky and sweaty whenever he would hold the hamster and once it started licking his palm and looking at him with its big, dark eyes, Asahi would probably feel like he had been blessed by God himself

These are adorable!!! I loved Asahi’s so much! Thank you!

Happy Holidays! I’d like to request Kuroko and his s/o spending Christmas at home, cuddling and talking with each other. Just some heart-warming fluff ;)

baesketballers:

Anonymous said: Can I request Kuroko spending Christmas with his s/o, being cute, baking, Making/going to dinner, gift exchange, snuggling? Something Fluffy cute like that? Have great holidays!

Combining with the above, though it is not exactly the same, but I’m going with the general fluff + Christmas route so why not!

No gender-specific pronouns used. I think. Tell me if I missed something!

The Christmas playlist has stopped playing in the background for a while now, leaving you and Kuroko sitting on the couch in the living room in silence. He is idyllically stroking a scarf—a Christmas gift from you that he just opened some ten minutes ago—quietly admiring the deep steel blue color that matches his eyes. You are watching him, happy with the fact that he seems to enjoy your gift a lot, while your fingers subconsciously twiddle the necklace and locket—his gift to you.

“Nigou is being weirdly lazy,” you murmur the announcement, glancing at the pup sitting near your feet. He is snuggled comfortably under a blanket and he looks so angelic with that sleeping face… “If my phone weren’t in the bedroom, I would take so many pictures.”

Kuroko chuckles, bending down to pet his companion before leaning back against the couch as he immediately hooks an arm around your shoulder. A very dominant move that he never shows in public, but not that you mind his private nature. In fact, it makes you feel bubbly with excitement knowing that he reserves this secret side of him only for you. You smile when you rest against his chest. He hums, kissing the top of your head.

“How much longer, __________-san?”

“Any minute now. I can already smell it,” you reply lazily, looking around the room as if the scent were visible. He breathes in and lets out a pleasant sigh in return—you are right, and it smells divine. Nigou seems to perk up at the intensity invading his senses, and the pup trots toward the kitchen even without any indication of the dish being ready.

When the oven dings, you groan, struggling to get out of your very comfortable position with your boyfriend. He pulls at your hand to keep you close even as the two of you walk to the kitchen nearby, Nigou already sitting diligently in front of the oven.

“Someone’s eager,” you remark snidely, only to earn a yip from the excited pup. He lolls out his tongue, panting, and the display of his excitement becomes greater and greater once you open the oven and take out the tray. The once sleepy canine is now running in circles, more than ready to take a bit of what’s bakin.

“D’ya smell that bacon, boy,” you whisper, face close to the baked potatoes with cheese and bacon. “Heavenly.”

“Indeed,” Kuroko chimes in. You can tell he’s secretly inhaling the seductive scent of food, but he failed—you see his nostrils twitching just a tiny bit. With an amused chuckle, you grab cutlery and plates to serve the dish. Kuroko fishes out the deliberately huge chunks of bacon and hands them out to Nigou, who is eagerly eating out of the tips of his owner’s fingers.

You are sitting, fork clinking against the plate while Kuroko turns the speaker in the living room back on, and soft ambient music plays the second he taps on his phone.

“Are you planning on trapping me inside the house for the rest of the day?” You teasingly ask, “this playlist just makes me want to curl up into a cocoon and stay home for at least a week.” Kuroko chuckles at your exaggeration, though he accepts the coziness of his music of choice as compliment.

“Maybe I am,” he retorts before taking a bite of bacon. Nigou paws at his leg asking for more.

You look at him with a mix of shock and amusement in your eyes. His are twinkling in impish mischief, something you rarely see from your boyfriend. You chuckle before surrendering with a shrug.

“Not that I mind, as long as I’m staying home with you.”

He smiles, reaching for your idle hand on the table to kiss it.

So cute!

I’ve realized you often mention Kise having a not-so-hidden yandere side, could you elaborate on it a little? Scenario or headcanons with his s/o, whichever you prefer?

terriblesportsimagines:

here are my thoughts on the matter!

Kise Ryouta

  • Haha I should have known this would come back to haunt me!
  • Okay, so canonically, the managaka has said that the anime
made Kise a little too ‘soft and nice’ at least that’s what he said according
to the wiki page.  But even in the anime you can see hints of his not so
    sweet, cheerful and silly side.
  • I headcanon that he has two sides to him – his bubbly,
cheerful side that is excitable, loud and friendly – then his cold, arrogant
side.  We should remember that Kise fit in with the other five really
well, he went along with their terrible attitude and was literally one of them
on that front.  He’s cold to people he doesn’t know or acknowledge,
sometimes straight out ignoring them (remember how he was with Kagami at
first?  And how he came to get Kuroko because he was being ‘wasted’ on
Seirin, who he refused to acknowledge.)
  • This dual-facetted personality forms the basis of my
assertion that he’s yandere.  He’s a different kind of yandere than the
other two characters that could, arguably, be called so – Akashi and
Murasakibara.  Akashi is, I believe, 100% canonically yandere, Murachin is
so by virtue of his jealous and possessive nature.  Kise is the smiley
kind of yandere, the one that is warm and affectionate towards you outwardly,
while inwardly thinking that you belong to him and that if you ever try to
leave him he’ll lock you in a cage.
  • Ironic, because he wants to be ‘free’.  Pretty much, I
think he’s the type that wants to be free himself, but doesn’t want you to be
so.  Whereas Akashi is possessive, but not jealous, he’s possessive because
he’s jealous.  He wants you to look only at him and be the star that you
    revolve around.
  • It’s important to keep in mind that yandere does not
mean psychotic, and that characters can have yandere traits without being “I’m
going to murder you for looking at my s/o
    .”  They can be
violent, but they usually aren’t, and it’s a character type that exists on a
spectrum, which becomes clear to anyone who’s ever played otome games.
  • Kise is the needy-type yandere.  He loves you, and is hella
affectionate, unafraid to show his affection in public.  But he is kind of
controlling about your affections, because he wants them all for himself.
He’s selfish, inherently, which is the main factor in his yandere.
  • His yandere mostly only comes out when he’s angry, like his
frozen side, or someone has threatened him or you in some way.  Sometimes
it’s ridiculous, other times it’s understandable.  Like his cheerfulness,
this side of him is overabundant and a little forceful.
  • For anyone whose ever played Samurai Love Ballad Party, I
see Kise as the same kind of yandere as Uesugi Kenshin – sweet and a little
airheaded outwardly, but possessive and controlling inwardly.

Really profound, I love your analysis.

AHHHHH I LOVED THE BABY AKASHI SCENARIO SO MUCH. CAN I GET A SCENARIO WHERE ALL THE GOM AND EVEN KAGAMIS KIDS MEET AND HAVE A PLAY DATE WHERE THE DADS ARE SUPERVISING AND HOW THEY INTERACT. ALSO PLEASE MAKE AOMINE MARRY MOMOI IF POSSIBLE. THANKS <3

terriblesportsimagines:

Okay, so I’m posting this today, even though I just wrote it and I never do that, because it’s pure gold and I adore it.

Keep in mind that I don’t have kids, so I 100% don’t know what they actually sound like.  That’s why I’ve kept the ages ambiguous.  They probably still sound too old, but
¯_(ツ)_/¯

For convenience, I’ve named them all.  Also, they probably have more kids, but these are the only ones here, because eight is still too many!

Please read this hilarity! Cut for length

This is amazing!

I love giving and receiving fic reviews, but for a long time the whole process of writing a review used to be very fraught because I wanted to show my appreciation but I didn’t want to leave a generic “Loved this, please write more!” like every other comment the author had already gotten and was probably sick of. (Note – as an author, we do not get sick of these comments. We do not get sick of any comments.) But I figured something out a while ago and I figured I’d share it. How to leave a good comment on a fic: PICK A LINE.

Literally any line. Pick it as you’re reading. If a phrase or a sentence or a paragraph jumps out at you, highlight it and hit Ctrl+C. Then save that puppy until the comment section, paste it in, and let the author know why you liked it.

“___” My favorite line, it was hilarious!

“___” I’m gonna cry! Poor Character B!

“___” That is totally something Character A would say.

“___” omg this totally sums up their whole relationship, doesn’t it?

I’m a writer who is friends with a lot of writers. I have never met a writer who didn’t fucking love this. Worried that you’re not leaving a comprehensive review? It’s okay. Tell the author about the five-word sentence that you loved in their 10K word fic, and they will glow. I’m telling you this is foolproof. Take the stress out of commenting. Pick a line. Make a writer’s day.

Because likes are nice but reblogs and comments are even better no matter how small the comment. Since some of you might be stuck on what to say, here’s a little handy guide!

This is so simple yet so brilliant. I agree and will be doing this as well.

To all my fellow Haikyuu fans

haikyuulovercompany:

This is to everyone who thinks Haikyuu is over.

The manga isn’t over yet, and neither is the anime. We’re getting the Seijoh OVA this year, and according to some information, we’re getting another OVA that will be about Shiratorizawa.

As far as my experience and knowledge goes, we’re not getting Season 4 this year for 3 reasons:

A) We’re getting the OVA’s. For the creators of the series maybe it’s important to  fully close that cycle. In the OVA’s well get a conclusion to what happened with Seijoh, and Shiratorizawa after they lost against Karasuno so we can say goodbye to them properly. (MANGA SPOILER AHEAD: I know seijoh appears for a brief moment in the manga again, and we still don’t know if we’ll have another quick appearances of other teams. MANGA SPOILER OVER

At least we’re not seeing them in court again, or at least in a long long time. It all depends in what will happen with Haikyuu after nationals are over, but let’s not talk about that because we still have a long way to go for nationals to end.

B) I don’t know if you’re aware, but the anime industry in Japan, even when it’s one of their biggest industries, it’s not doing well. The creators of the manga are the ones who take almost all the money. Animators are paid really little, and there’s this crisis where Japan is running out of people who is willing to spend long long hours animating the mangas, and have an unfair payment. So, with that stated, they can only animate certain things at a time. It was either the OVA’s, or Season 4. And I’m guessing the studio in charge of Haikyuu!! is currently working in other things, too.

And C) The manga is always ahead of the anime for a reason. The studios need enough material for them to create complete seasons. They need to look at the material and decide from where to where they will divide the seasons. My guess is that when the Shiratorizawa season was over, there wasn’t enough material for them to do a complete season/arc that would follow only one storyline, so they went for the OVAs while the manga continued. Now that there’s enough material to create a season 4, I believe they are currently working on it and in 2018 we’ll get some more Haikyuu!!

Haikyuu!! anime will be over only when the studio say it’s cancelled. If the studio hadn’t said a thing, it’s good news. We’re getting new material this years, which is also good news. The studio is still interested in producing the Haikyuu!! anime. As my mom says: No news, it’s good news. Bad news are usually the first to be known. If Haikyuu!! anime gets cancel, we’ll know right away.

So with that said, don’t worry ahead of time. Haikyuu!! is not over. It only takes time to animate a series. Breathe, my beautiful people. We’re not done here.

Friendly reminder and that the fandom dies if we let it. Let’s keep up the hype! Write, read, comment, share!

May I ask if you could do a scenario when akashi’s (KNB) son went to the kindergarten for the first time and his mom was wired because he is just a tiny version of sei? Like he really loves order and hates disobeying and kind of mature and quite for his age (still a baby who can be tricked with a kandy tho and like cartoons xD) and it happens that ryouta ‘s son is there and a tiny sei made him cry because well, like father like a son You can ignore it if you don’t like it .. thank you ❤

terriblesportsimagines:

Oh man, at first I was like “How am I going to write this ask?”  And then I fell in LOVE.  This is easily one of my favorite things I’ve written for this blog and I giggle every time I read it.  I hope this is what you wanted and I hope you enjoy!

Akashi Seijuro

You were nervous.

Well, a little more than that, since sending your baby off
to kindergarten was a big deal.  You weren’t used to being away from him
and it was going to be so hard.  But that wasn’t really why you
were nervous.  You were nervous because you knew your son, and knew his
temperament and you were afraid it would not reflect well in a school
environment.

He… didn’t play well with others, at least when others
didn’t fall in line.  Admittedly, you probably hadn’t socialized him as
well as you should have, and the only children he’d been exposed to were those
of your friends, which were all older or younger, and your husband’s friends,
which were similar age, but who, for the most part, let him have his own way.

You loved your little man, but there was no mistaking the
resemblance to your husband.  He was like a miniature Akashi Seijuro, with
all his strange quirks.  Quirks which were going to cause tension in a
kindergarten environment.  Honestly, there were sometimes you wondered how
he could possibly be only five years old.

He was obsessive about order and though you’d done your best
to bring it down a touch, had a bit of a superiority complex.  He wanted
those around him to fall in line and do as he said all the time, and
unfortunately, you know most children would not enjoy being told what to
do.  He was also a sweet little boy with a fondness for candy and a
generous heart.  It was just getting through the layers of Akashi
to see that.

He was a confident little boy, and so despite your humming
and hawing, trotted off into the school without any problem.  Seijuro
stood beside you, and arm around your waist as you watched your baby take his
first steps of independence, worrying at your lip the whole time.

“He will be fine, _____,” Seijuro commented lightly,
amusement in his tone.  “He’s my son.  He’ll have them all in line by
lunch.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of,” you muttered, wringing your
hand.  You wanted to stay and watch, wanted to supervise.  You’d
warned him, told him that other children might not like to be bossed around,
and might not adhere to his version of order.  But that was all you can
do.

The day passed with agonizing slowness.  You did your
best to keep busy, and Seijuro worked from home, even managing to draw you away
for a little alone time, since you had the time.  Still, you half
expected to get a phone call from the school with some problem or another and
it had you on edge.

When the time came to finally pick your son up, you
and your husband made your way back to the school.  Unlike some, he wasn’t
waiting outside, so you went in to find his classroom.

You heard the wailing long before you ever reached the
room.  Fear stung the back of your throat – it didn’t sound like your son,
but it was familiar, and you just knew your son was at the heart of it.

Sure enough, when you entered the room, your husband behind
you, your eyes immediately found the short red hair of your son.  He was
standing awkwardly in one corner of the classroom, chin down, while another
little boy, one with bright blond hair, sobbed hysterically a few feet
away.  A familiar blond man knelt beside him, trying to console him, while
the teacher stood by and murmured at your son.

You sighed, hurrying forward to catch your son about the
shoulders.  His little face shot up and the solemn look in his eyes made
your heart clench, especially when he reached for you right away.

“Akashicchi!” The blond man complained and when you looked
over he was glaring at your husband.  “We went through this last time!”

Seijuro blinked slowly.  “We did,” he said.  “And
I’m not repeating myself.”

Your hand shot out and smacked your husband solidly in the
middle before you turned your attention back to your clinging five year
old.  “Okay sweety, what happened?”

“He was a meany!” The blond child wailed.  “He’s always
a meany!”

“He wouldn’t play with me,” your son replied, nonplussed,
though he clutched you tighter.

“I wanted to be the king!  He never lets me be the
king!” The blond boy refuted, glaring as hard as his little gold eyes could
muster.  “He said he would behead me for t-t-treason!”

Despite how serious it was for the two boys, you had to try
very, very hard not to laugh, and you could see amusement lurking in
your husband’s crimson eyes.  Kise, less so, but that was mostly because
he was too busy rolling his eyes at Seijuro.

I’m the king,” your son commented, dead serious,
tone every bit as imperious as his father on his worst day.  “I am
absolute.  He said I was stupid and no one wants to be friends with
me.”  At this his eyes dropped to the floor and you could see, behind the
serene mask, a very real fear.  “He said Kei, Ai, Hiyashi and Daisuke
don’t even like me.”

You had to wonder where he’d even picked up that
phrase because you were pretty sure you’d tamed that out of your husband years
ago.

Both you and Kise winced at this, and you could see this
upset your son a great deal.  The other Generation of Miracles’ children
were probably the only friends he had, and certainly the ones he saw the most
and were the most comfortable with.  That included Kise’s son, most of the
time, although of the six children, these two butted heads the most.

“That wasn’t very nice,” Kise said on a sigh, stroking his
son’s head.

“He said he was gonna kill me!” The blond boy
shrieked, pointing an accusing finger at your son.

You sighed.  “I don’t think he meant literally.”

“He tried to organize an uprising,” your son said very
seriously.  “He needs to die.”

You immediately turned to your smirking husband.  “You
and I are going to have a talk about appropriate and five year olds
when we get home.”

Seijuro just snorted.

“Okay, I think everyone here needs to apologize,” you
announced a moment later, shaking your head.  “Sweetheart, you can’t
threaten to kill people, even when they don’t do what you want.”

“I wasn’t actually going to kill him,” your son
grumbled.  When you squeezed him in warning, he sighed heavily and said,
loudly, if sullenly, “I’m sorry.”

Kise, picking up where you left off, patted his son’s
back.  “And you need to apologize for what you said too, little man.
No matter how mad he made you, you shouldn’t call people stupid or tell them no
one likes them.”

The little blond boy sniffled, pursing his lips and
narrowing his eyes in what looked very much like challenge.  “…Sorry.” He
bit out, then added a moment later, “Next time I’m gonna over throw you.
I’ll be absolute.”

Your son’s chin came up to meet the challenge.  “I’ll
crush you.”

“I’ll crush you.”

Oh good, there were two of them.  Maybe it wasn’t a
good thing that all your kids spent so much time together?

You couldn’t help but giggle a little later in their
lives when neither one came out on top, and it was, in fact, little Kuroko Ai
who lead with a sweet smile and iron fist, much to both fathers’ despair.

I love this!!!

I’m your bunny, be my honey

ASK: Headcanons for how Kageyama, Lev, Aone, Oikawa, Akaashi and Terushima react when their crush shows up in a sexy bunny-girl costume (her volleyball team lost their tournament and this was the consequence) and confesses her feelings to them

I did these as mini scenarios I suppose, I just suck at head canons. I hope you like these.

Kageyama

When she entered the room, Kageyama wondered if he was dreaming. That couldn’t be his crush clad in such a scandalous outfit and walking directly towards him. All around he could hear his team reacting to her appearance, particularly Tanaka-san and Nishinoya-san who he was sure were being restrained by Ennoshita-san.

As she stopped in front of him, he worked diligently to keep his eyes only on her face.

“Kageyama-kun, I…I wanted you to know I care deeply about you. Pl…please accept my feelings.”

Her confession caught him off guard and he couldn’t get his mouth to work past his jaw unhinging and hanging down. After a few moments of silence, Hinata smacked his arm. “Answer her, Bakageyama!”

“Yes!” he shouted, voice echoing through the gym. He grabbed her hand, tugging her away from prying eyes. “I accept your feelings but can you put some clothes on!”

Lev

“Wow, _____-chan! It’s not Halloween is it?” Lev cried, eyes wide as he looked her over.

From his left he heard Kuroo’s low whistle, but couldn’t react, not when she was looking at him like that, looking like that.

“Lev-kun, I….I really, really like you,” she said, eyes averted to the ground, hand rubbing up and down her arm. “Would…you like to go out some time?”

“EH?!!” His outburst had her head whipping back to look at him. “You like me?! I…I’ve had a crush on you forever! I can’t believe this!”

“Lev, maybe you should stop embarrassing her further,” Yaku scolded. “And get her some cover you pervert!”

Aone

“Oi, Aone, isn’t that _______-chan?” Futakuchi asked, cheeks warming a bit.

The middle blocker turned his attention towards the gym door, eyes growing wider and wider as more of her came into view; much, much more.

Rushing forward, he grabbed his jacket, hurrying to throw it about her shoulders and zip it up. His face held his question and she blurted out, “I’m sorry to embarrass you, Aone-kun! I had a bet with the rival team’s captain that beat us and I had to do this as consequence of losing the tournament last week!”

Aone’s blood boiled; who could be so callous as to heap embarrassment like this upon the shame of loss?

He barely heard her next words, said so lowly he wondered if he imagined them. “And I have to tell you how I’m in love with you.”

He looked down at her, lips slightly parted in shock. Blinking rapidly, he hums, nodding once and holding out his hand. Tentatively she takes it, looking up at him with a sweet smile.

Oikawa

“Ooooohh, ______-chan, what is this scandalous outfit for? Are you trying to get my attention?” Oikawa crooned as she walked towards him. Despite his teasing tone and smirking face inwardly he was dying; how could she let all these guys see her like this? He wanted to be the only one to see her exposed as such…once he’d actually told her how he felt…if he ever would.

“That’s exactly it,” she confirmed, fingers grazing through his hair. The touch and her proximity with that much flesh showing had all the blood formerly in his head rushing below his waist line. “I know you hear this all the time, Oikawa-kun, but I love you. I hope you can return my affection.” When he didn’t answer, she shrugged her shoulders despite the ache in her heart. “Oh well, I tried,” she sighed, but the sound of a thud had her turning back around. There, blood running down his nose, lay Oikawa unconscious.

“Oikawa-kun?” she cried, kneeling next to him.

“Great, now how are we gonna get him ready for the match?” Iwaizumi complained, draping his jacket over her back. “Go get changed, I’m sure he’ll be professing his love as soon as he comes to.”

Akaashi

The gym was empty save for himself and Bokuto but Akaashi could feel his eyelids growing heavier. They’d been at it for hours and in his opinion it was time to call it a night. Just as he opened his mouth to call out to Bokuto, who’d gone to the storage room for another towel, he spotted her. Through the door walked _____-chan, his crush since the beginning of the year, wearing the sexiest bunny costume he’d ever seen. Come to think of it, he’d never seen anything like it before. Bewildered with wide eyes he stood rigid as she stepped further into the room.

“Akaashi!!!” Bokuto’s voice called, “Let’s do another fifty!”

Suddenly the setter was taking off across the room, meeting his friend at the door and blocking his view of her. “Hey,” Bokuto said surprised to find him there, “what’s up?”

With how dry his throat was and the rapidity of his pulse, Akaashi couldn’t believe he managed to speak even somewhat normally. “Sorry, I had something come up, do you mind cleaning up the gym?” When the ace looked inclined to whine about it, he added quickly, “I’ll make it up to you at morning practice. Fifty sets, they’re yours.”

Bokuto still pouted but finally replied, “OK, see you tomorrow.”

Akaashi glanced behind him, glad she’d had the foresight to leave. He had no idea what was going on but all he knew was he didn’t want anyone ever seeing her like that; except him.

He dashed out the door, surprised to find her with crossed arms waiting for him.

“Sorry, I…I didn’t want…”

“It’s fine Akaashi-san, I’m sorry to cause you so much trouble,” she said miserably.

“Wha…what are you doing?”

Quickly she explained the wager but when it came time for the big reveal (other than her skin) she faltered. Taking a deep breath she finally admitted, “I…I really like you and I’m sure this is the last way you wanted to find out but, it’s the truth and I hope it doesn’t mess up my chances and-”

“I feel the same way,” he said, voice surprisingly even. Then he stepped closer, voice lowering even more. “Now let’s get you changed, the last thing I need is for Bokuto to see you like this, he’ll never stop talking about it.”

Terushima

Johzenji’s captain was pretty sure he’d died and gone to heaven. He remained leaned against the wall, eyes trailing up and down her body as she stumbled towards him. Whoever insisted she wear high heels would be getting a thank you fruit basket from him. As she settled in front of him, he looked at her with hooded eyes, smile crooked. “To what do I owe this pleasurable view?” he asked smoothly.

“Um…I…I don’t know if you heard but we lost our tournament and…and there was a wager I had with the captain of the other team.”

“Yeah, sorry about that, tough break.” It was miracle he managed to have any sincerity in his tone. He was loving every second of her misfortune but how could she blame him?

“That…that’s not all,” she went on, voice small and eyes to the floor. He frowned, standing to his full height. Shyly she met her eyes to his. “I…I also have to confess…how I feel about you.”

His smile was back in full force. “Oh? And how would that be?”

She blushed, legs wobbling under the strain of holding herself in unfamiliar shoes. If she didn’t get this out now, she’d never do it and all of this embarrassment would have been for nothing. “I really like you, Terushima-kun, will you…will you accept my feelings?”

“That depends,” he returned, trailing his hand through her hair, “do I get to see you in this again…in private?”

Akashi and Hanamiya’s reaction to their S/O being confessed to by another person right in front of them?

terriblesportsimagines:

Oh man, RIP other person… seriously, you gotta have balls to confess when other person is there, let alone these two!

Akashi Seijuro

It was like he wasn’t even there, and that’s what infuriated
him more than anything.  Akashi knew his
weaknesses well enough, knew that he was possessive, but had been told off by
you enough times to know better than to voice his feelings on the subject.  He’d mostly trained that part of himself
away, and he trusted you completely.
But this was too much.  This
brazen idiot was so blatantly trespassing on his territory-

He tried to hold himself back.  You’d scold him if he was too heavy handed, and ask why he didn’t
just let you deal with yourself.  But it
was hard.  The lowlife was touching you,
and it was all Akashi could do to hold himself back.  Everything in him screamed to make him lower his head.

Why the lowlife couldn’t see that you were so far above him as
to be laughable was a mystery.  How did
they even get the courage to talk to you, let alone while he was standing right
there
?

You were not doing a good job at warning him away.  You were trying to be kind and polite,
trying to spare the scum’s feelings.
This just wouldn’t do.  Akashi
felt his patience snap as the scum reached out to pick up your hand.  His arm darted between you and snatched the
wrist trying to taint you, fingers curling around it and squeezing much harder
than necessary.

Akashi’s stare was icy and imperious as he followed his arm
and positioned himself between you and the lowlife.  “Do not touch what is not yours,” he stated, voice
blank, but frighteningly soft.  “You
could not even hope to be in the same universe as my ____.  Leave.
Now.”

The lowlife scrambled away, apologizing in a flurry of panic
and bows.  Akashi watched with a smirk
as they literally ran for their life.

“Seijuro.”

You were angry, but Akashi didn’t regret his actions.  “You weren’t handling it,” he said mildly,
turning towards you and smiling a little more genuinely.  “So I did.”

“There are so many things wrong with what just happened, I
don’t even know where to start,” you sighed in annoyance, glaring at your
boyfriend.

Akashi leaned a bit and pressed a kiss to your cheek.  “A man must defend his loved ones, ____.”

“His territory, you mean,” you grumbled, but it was
impossible to stay made at him when he smiled like that.

Smirking, Akashi took you hand.  “That too.”

Hanamiya Makoto

Hanamiya couldn’t decide if this person was trying to make
him angry, or was just that stupid.  He
stared for a long time, watching the fool blush and stammer, and watching you
throw helpless looks in his direction.

What did you want him to do?  He knew that you’d be against all of his ideas, most of which
included bodily harm to the moron currently trying to, clumsily, steal what was
his.  Of course he didn’t feel
threatened in the slightest, but it was annoying to have to watch and it was
making you uncomfortable.  Plus, the
very fact that they were ignoring him was grating.  Like the whole goddamn school didn’t know who you belonged to.

After the tenth pleading look, Hanamiya decided that you’d
just have to live with what he was going to do.  He’d tried to stay out of it, to stick to the morals you
preferred, but you’d made that impossible, begging him to save you from this
idiot.

His hand shot out and fisted in the idiot’s shirt and used
the hold to jerk them towards him.  He
slapped on his worst smile, and knew his eyes were like shards of broken glass
– if the idiot’s expression was any indication.  “Do you have a death wish?”
He drawled, tone deceptive.

“N-No!” The idiot stuttered, clearly terrified.

“It sure looks like it,” Hanamiya continued, pulling them
even closer and narrowing his eyes.
“Just who do you think ____ belongs to?”

“Myself,” you mutter, but the slide of Hanamiya’s eyes made
you close your mouth quickly.

The idiot was obviously to scared to speak, since they just
stared at him with a dimwitted, terrified expression, swallowing heavily and
struggling to breathe, despite the fact that his hold on them was nowhere near
their throat.  “Come near ____ again,
and I will break both your legs, is that clear?”

The idiot nodded frantically, and Hanamiya scoffed,
releasing him so that they could run away with their tail between their
legs.

You sighed, pouting at him a bit.  “Was it really necessary to threaten them?”

A dark eyebrow rose.
“You’re the one who asked.”

Most excellent!
