So glad you’re doing your box your way! That said, I hope you like mine! Kuroko needs more love so can you do a sweet New Year’s Kiss scenario? Maybe like it’s a crush and not yet established relationship? They could be at a party maybe dancing or Kuroko is feeling left out because no one notices him (or so he thinks) and she find him at midnight? Fem pronouns please! Hope that’s not too detailed! Thank you!

baesketballers:

It’s not too detailed, it’s just right! Also maybe it would be better for yall to read this at the end of the year since New Year’s just passed lmao maybe that’s why this is so short

I don’t think there are any gender-specific pronouns here so tagging this as gender neutral

“There you are.”

The voice from behind me, however soft it may be, startles him among all the other noisier sounds from the party. Everything else is gradually becoming white noise, but your voice is like a cool breeze in a hot day, mint tea before bed. He smiles, quietly adoring your visage except for an equally quiet ‘hello’—he was feeling like he wanted to go home as soon as possible, but now that you are here, he wishes for the opposite.

“I’ve been wondering where you are,” you say, chuckling a little bit with embarrassment. Do you seem too eager to meet him? The last thing you want to do is scare him off. “Having a good time so far?”

He knows better than to lie at you—he considers you as someone close to him, so faking it will only earn him a look. Instead, he offers you another smile and a tired shrug. You pat him on his shoulders, as if supporting him to go on for a few more hours. Noticing the empty glass in his hand, you loosely hold on to his wrist.

“Want to get a drink?”

“Sure,” he replies, walking next to you as you make your way to the bar.

For the next hour Kuroko finds himself chattering with you, inhibitions lowered not just by the alcohol. He hasn’t gotten a lot of chances to see your eyes so upclose, so clear, for so long, and have them look back into his. It is not as if you are unwilling to stay longer; circumstances always found a way to interrupt, be it in the form of friends or foes. He wonders if any other person is vying for your attention right now, envying him, because he has felt like that before, and now that your eyes are on him, he is intoxicated.

You are laughing at one of his deadpan comments, casually and lightly pushing his arm. He watches you affectionately until the master of ceremony announces the last minute of the year, and the two of you share a look, a mix of excitement and surprise at the swift passage of time.

“Let’s move,” you say with a smile, your fingers enclose around his wrist once more, this time tighter than your touch before. He feels his stomach do a flip and he does not see a reason to lie to himself—he is nervous, happy, and ten other emotions mixed up into one.

The two of you quickly find a spot outside the venue, trapped in a sea of people, but Kuroko keeps a hand to your waist so that the two of you don’t get separated. You willingly lean against his arm and smile at him as you listen to the master of ceremony ramble on.

“This is my first time attending a New Year’s party,” you whisper, and he can feel the slightest of your breath on his neck, “it’s kind of exciting.”

“It is,” he replies, but you don’t know he is referring to the erratic beat of his heart.

Ten

“Kuroko-kun?”

He hums in response.

Nine

You look at him, anticipation apparent on your expression. He wordlessly urges you to go on.

Eight

“Can I ask you something?”

Seven

“Go ahead.”

Six

A beat of silence.

Five

“Will you kiss me?”

He tenses, eyes wide, and you think you have made the biggest mistake of trying to cross the line between friendship and romance. Before your dark thoughts could take hold of your mind entirely, the crowd counts down to one and the man in front of you leans down, pressing his soft lips against yours.

He drowns out everything around him: the cheers of ‘Happy New Year’, party poppers and confetti, and the whooshing of fireworks. He tastes you, sweet and addicting, but he pulls away after a small nip. You look like something out of a fairy tale book, as if a magic spell have been lifted from you, your eyes opening like you just woke up from a deep sleep.

The fireworks are deafening but beautiful, illuminating your face with an array of colors—purple, yellow, pink—and even in the dark and noise he can see you trying to bite back a smile.

“Can I ask one more question?”

He chuckles, intrigued. “Sure.”

“Will you kiss me again?”

A second after the word leaves your lips, he’s already pressing against you, deeper and bolder than before. The dance is slow but sensual with a quiet moan or two exchanged in between—mostly yours, though—and he gets progressively braver as the seconds tick in.

Anything for you, ___________-san.

Ooooooo!! You picked mine! And I love it! It’s so sweet and the count down was great! Thank you!!

Flowershop au with s/o and Akashi just as himself?

imagine-knb:

I have this as the beginning of them becoming a s/o, hope you enjoy! – Admin Jade

There he was again, Akashi Seijuro, or as they commonly referred to him in their own mind: the beautiful man with red eyes. They’d never seen eyes of that color on anyone else. It reminded them of chrysanthemums, hints of gold showing in certain lighting. As he moved through the shop, ease in his step, they watched from behind a bunch of daisies, unable to tear their gaze from his form. He was wearing a grey suit, it’s lines sharp enough to cut paper they were sure, with a black tie fixed perfectly by a gorgeous ruby tie pin.

“Good afternoon, ______” his deep smooth voice offered, light smile on his lips.

They started, worried he’d caught them staring, but if he had he made no mention of it.

“Go…good afternoon, Akashi-san,” they managed, heart rate speeding up as those crimson irises settled on their face.

“I was hoping you could help me,” he continued, never breaking eye contact.

They swallowed, hoping the little moisture left in their throat would be enough to help them form words adequately. “Yes?” Good, no stuttering and their voice didn’t crack.

“You see…today is a very important day. Today is the day I’m going to tell someone how I feel about them and I’m sure you can provide excellent assistance.”

They were sure the color was draining from their face if the settling cold was anything to go by; but should they really be surprised? Akashi-san could have anyone he wanted. He was rich, powerful, gorgeous; but that wasn’t all they liked about him.

The first time he’d been to their shop, he’d asked for flowers for his mother’s grave. The way he looked, the depth of love still there, was tragically beautiful.

The second had been to order flower arrangements for an event as his company, purchasing vases as well. They’d heard later everyone loved the flowers and the fact they could take them home at the end of the evening.

On his fourth visit, he had a girl with him and they’d felt their heart sink only to rise with joy when he introduced them to her. “This is one of my greatest friends, Momoi Satsuki. She’s getting married in six months and I told her this was absolutely the place to come for flowers.”

The pink haired girl had clapped her hands enthusiastically, chirping, “Everything is so pretty! I just can’t decide! I wish Tetsu would have come with me!” From there, they’d taken over, asking for her color scheme, the size of her tables, how many bridesmaids. After talking for about an hour, Momoi had made her selections, only for Akashi-san to grab the contract and sign it himself. “Consider it a wedding gift,” he chuckled as Momoi protested him spending so much.

Yes, there was much to admire about the man before them.

They snapped back to attention when he cleared his throat, a slightly raise eyebrow all the indication he was curious as to their silence.

“Yes! Yes, of course I can help, Akashi-san. Um, what exactly were you looking for?”

He hummed, tapping his index finger against his chin. “I’d like for the bouquet to speak to them. For it to make clear all the reasons I appreciate and admire them,” he answered, looking back into their eyes.

“Right, ok….so….tell me about them! I’m sure I can find some flowers that will serve your purpose well!”

Akashi smiled, eyes soft as he considered their request and they were sure by the end of this ordeal they would need to lie down and take a couple of deep breaths. “First, they are exceedingly beautiful,” he supplied.

“Amaryllis,” they murmured, picking two from the display.

“They’re a very happy person.”

“Definitely gerbera,” and in went two more flowers. They paused then asked, “You said you wanted to convey admiration, right?” He hummed ascent. “Then you definitely need red carnations. What else?”

Akashi stared at them for a moment then answered, “They’re strong and creative and carry themselves with elegance.”

“Wow,” they breathed then refocused. “Some dahlias are perfect for that.” They considered the gathering of flowers in their grasp and said, “Ok, I think we have room for one more. Better make it a good one,” they teased, trying to lighten the load of despair in their chest.

“This one I think I can pick on my own,” he said softly, handing them two roses.

”Love! He loves this person!”

Returning behind the counter, they completed the arrangement, making sure every petal was flawless and every stem was perfectly even with the rest before securing them with green ribbon. Taking a deep breath, they walked out to where Akashi stood waiting, hands in his pockets. As the approached, they extended the bouquet, trying desperately to keep any tremor out of their voice as they said, “I hope they like these and I wish you the best of luck.”

Akashi took the bundle, but as he made way to gathering his wallet, they held up one hand. “On the house, today is a special day, after all.”

He stared at them, smiling again.

“Normally I’d protest. As an Akashi I am not accustomed to receiving charity, however, it is fitting all things considered.”

They cocked their head, confused by his words but their eyes widened to the size of saucers as he stepped closer, hands extending the bouquet back towards them. “I hope this makes perfectly clear how I feel about you.” He closed their shaking fingers around the stems, leaning forward to touch his lips to their cheek. “I’ll pick you up for dinner after you close, make sure to wear something nice, we’re going to celebrate.”

They don’t know how they didn’t manage to faint dead on the spot.

In case anyone is wondering what these flowers look like, I made this banner to share. They are in the order they were picked in the scene.

Okamura on the college basketball team and falling head over heels in love with the captain of the women’s basketball team. As far he knows she isn’t interested into him. Until he goes back to the court to grab his bag and over hears her talking to the vice-captain.

imagine-knb:

I just love this gorilla! He’s so sweet! – Admin Jade

“Okamura-senpai, we’re leaving, are you gonna stay late again?” shouted his point guard from across the gym. “You know the girls team is comin’ in soon!”

Despite his best efforts, Okamura could feel his cheeks heating up. Did they know? Shaking his head, he called over his shoulder, “Just a few more shots, I’ll be outta their way soon! See you tomorrow!”

A mumbled reply was all he got as they exited to head to their respective dorms chatting as they went.

Exhaling a sigh of relief, Okamura turned towards the basket, shooting a three pointer. Gathering the ball, he took another shot and then another, both of which bounced off the rim. He hadn’t lied, he really would keep taking shots, though his focus was less than perfect. Any minute now-

“Oi! Girl’s team coming in! Time to get out!” shouted the vice captain.

Okamura gathered his ball and headed towards the bleachers to pick up his bag, strategically placed right underneath so he’d have to pass right by her. Gathering courage, he made eye contact and smiled at the captain, raising a hand in greeting. She returned the gesture before refocusing her attention on the conversation with her partner.

It wasn’t until he was outside that Okamura realized he’d been so distracted by her beautiful smile he’d forgotten to pick up his bag!

“Ugh, how embarrassing, but I can’t leave it there all night,” he groaned. Sighing he pivoted, heading back into the gym.

Just as he touched the strap, he heard a voice say, “Oh I just wanna give him a big hug! He’s like…like…like a teddy bear!”

It froze him in his tracks; he knew that voice, had dreamed of that voice. His shoulders slumped, head beginning to hang. He supposed he shouldn’t be that surprised she would have someone she was interested in, maybe even was already dating, though he’d not seen evidence of that. Then again, maybe she had someone back home. Yeah, that would make sense. His heart ached, a deep burning pain rushing through his blood and giving him a headache. But before he could retreat he heard the vice captain ask, “Who? The guy who’s always here till the last minute?”

“Of course! Who else did you think?”

Now he was sure his heart had stopped; was she actually talking…about him?

The vice captain snorted, “I can’t believe you like him. Don’t you think it’s…kind of creepy how he’s always here when we’re coming in?”

“Just because he works harder than everyone else does not make him creepy! It’s admirable!”

Okamura lips twitched upward, heart beating a bit faster hearing her defend him. Not that the vice captain was entirely wrong, he did stay late for more than just extra practice but it wasn’t like he just sat around!

“Yeah, well, I’d say it’s a bit of a stretch calling him a teddy bear. Gorilla is more like it.”

There was a pause and for a moment Okamura felt the weight of dread settling upon him; did she think he was a gorilla too?

Then she laughed, loud and bright. “I have always been a fan of primates, and he’s as prime as they get for a mate!”

Her partner groaned, the sound of a smacked arm echoing in the gym. “I swear, you get worse and worse! You really should stop hanging out so much with Izuki!”

“Hanging around?! The only reason we’re in that stupid study group, you know the one on the complete opposite side of campus, is because you wanted to join it. And the only reason you wanted to join that one was because of-”

“Oh look, the girls are comin’ in!”

“You can’t hide from me!”

Okamura chuckled, watching from his position under the bleachers as they ran to greet their team.

So she wanted to give him a hug did she? He’d just have to make her wish come true.

Breakdown of my debts;

tiacchi:

So I figured I should at least show everyone what I need the $700 for. This is what I’m gonna be using it for;

RENT. $527 (Only need $327 as I have $200 for it.) – This is my last month paying rent at my old apartment… Then, I’ll be getting off the lease and I won’t have to worry about it. THIS I NEED BY FEBRUARY 1st.

Phone bill – $75 : Honestly, I’d prefer paying this off as it’s one of the only ways to get a hold of me (Aside from email.) We don’t have a house phone. Though I won’t be TOO upset if I end up behind.

LOANS – $155.08 – These come out every second Friday, and it’s for two different payments. They MUST be in there otherwise I’ll screw up and trust me.. I don’t want these guys to be behind in payments. THIS IS NEEDED FOR FEBRUARY 2nd.

Overdraft – $100 – I spoke with my bank, and they’re okay with me lowering my overdraft by $100.. As long as I have enough money to cover any of my other debts, they don’t mind doing me this favour.

Credit card – $100 – I need to put something down so I don’t end up going over my limit. I don’t think there’s much of a time limit for this one..

So the total here is actually $757.08. Which means I didn’t calculate as much as I should have. But, since there’s a total here, I hope everyone can understand the kind of dilemma I’m in. This is a reflection for THIS month. Not for February or anything. I need this money for the next two weeks.. When my boss decided I don’t get any hours.

Again, I’m doing everything I can on my end to change this situation. But it takes time… and Well.. when it comes to my rent and loans, that time is slowly starting to close. So please, PLEASE, keep reblogging THIS post.

Thank you.

hmm what about a scenario with tsukki where his s/o (girl!) where she’s genuinely so empathetic and sweet and she can never say no when people ask her to help them so she’s always going around and helping people at school whenever they ask and sometimes people manipulate her into doing things? i just thought personality wise it’s such a juxtaposition from what tsukki is normally like and his reaction and everything -suga anon

dothewrite:

I’m sorry this turned out angsty. Tsukishima is one of the easiest characters for me to write because he is more or less myself when I become tired of being nice. So I ended up drawing this from something personal, because I know how it feels to love someone who loves everyone else just as much. Thank you for waiting, and it’s been far too long, Suga-anon. 🙂

Tsukishima finds her, again, by the decently sized bread stand next to the first floor canteen. Although he’s by certain standards, freakishly tall, his girlfriend most definitely isn’t, and searching for an unevenly coloured mop of hair in a sea of high school students is not as easy at it sounds.

The stuffed melon bread is almost sold out, and it reminds him that he’s wasted his entire lunch break on this stupid man-search instead of eating.

He knocks several people away with his sharp elbows, shooting them a dull stare when they turn to protest, and slinks through the crowd. He reaches out above the sea of heads and taps her on the shoulder. She spins around, a guilty frown on her face.

“I know… what you’re going to say,” she begins, “I’m sorry, Tsukki.”

It incenses him. Tsukishima, originally quite calm and merely ready to lecture, finds himself seeing red everywhere. He wants to hit someone, anyone, but the closest thing to him is her. He crushes that urge underneath his heel.

“Don’t apologise,” he grits out. “Wasting your breath on things that you clearly don’t mean.”

“Well, I-” She wrings her hands, and unable to meet his eyes. “I don’t know what else to say.”

The line shuffles them closer and closer to the bread lady, and Tsukishima gestures towards the display with a sharp jerk of his head. “It’s almost your turn. Do your masters proud.”

Amazing!!!

Hello! I️ just wanted to drop in to say hi and that I️ truly loved and enjoyed every single one of your scenarios. No matter who the character was, you were able to portray them accurately and well. Your writing is really descriptive and your use of figurative language only adds to the quality and takes your writing to new heights. My favorite thing about your writing style however, would have to be the way you use the words to evoke a sense of realism. Your writing is beautiful! Thank you! 🙂

Oh thank you so much!!! I’m honestly so touched by your words. I try very hard to balance description with action and to hear that I create a sense of realism makes me super, super happy. And that you feel my characterization is on point is the icing on the cake. I worry frequently that I’m missing the mark on certain characters but to know I have been getting them correct makes me smile from ear to ear. 😀

Thank you again for sending such heartfelt compliments and being specific on what you enjoy!

So I need at least $700 CAD.

If anyone can help with this, please do. I need help with my bills, and my paycheque this friday is not going to be enough. Again,  I have commissions available as well as Ko-fi.

You can talk to me to discuss options in regards to my commissions, but I’m literally doing everything I can on my end. (I talked to a debt counselor yesterday… She’s the one who told me I was.)

$3,000 of debt may not seem a lot to you guys…  but to me it is… and I need to slowly work at it… So if anyone can help, please do. Also reblogging this will help. I need this by the end of January. (2 weeks isn’t a lot of time.)

Also, I have no family or friends who can help me… Thus putting more stress on myself because I feel so stupid getting into this mess. I swear I’m doing everything I can, but I really could use this assistance.

Please guys?

Update: My boss decides to tell me that because he’s already finished the schedule for the next two weeks, he can’t fit me in. So…

I’m jobless for the next two weeks, which means NO income is coming in.. and I’ll need more help than ever.  I’ll basically be living off commissions and trying to find that other job.

PLEASE guys. REBLOG. GET this out. I cannot lose my dad’s house or let any of my loans bounce. This is seriously important..

Forgot to mention, my paypal is tiana.ungerer@robertsoncollege.net . (I swear I should’ve said that in the first post.)

By the looks of things, I will need to use half this money for my rent. I don’t think I worked enough to even have  half my rent covered. (Since my loans come out automatically.)

Update; After my loans come out of my bank tonight, I’ll only have $150 for rent. I need $527 by February 1st. Please help guys! Keep spreading the word!

I need $327 now for my rent. I have until the 1st of February. Please keep reblogging  guys. I can’t afford to screw up with rent.

Hey yo! Please consider commissioning Tia if you can. I’m helping her out with those as well.

angsty scenario with oikawa and his fem s/o with the prompt “I could have spent all this time practicing instead of wasting it by being with you.” ending with fluff ? or like a happy ending

dothewrite:

I’m not sure if this turned out a happy ending or not, but I tried to make it as close to a hopeful sort of ending as I could. Sorry for the wait, and I hope you like it.

How was one
supposed to feel, after hearing something like that?

Nobody had
ever prepared you for this; not a single script in a thousand novels that
drifted through time or slices of everyday lives in a tiny apartment could pull
out the excruciating sense of deflation in places where it shouldn’t be deflating
at all. Your parents, no matter how unhappy, had never bothered to share with
you the details of ‘commitment’. ‘Romance’ isn’t a syllabus they provide at
school. Vicarious learning can only be poor imitation when poets write of wilted
roses, lost sunsets and the chill winter breeze.

There’s a
meter-long needle, thin as wire, its tip worthy of Achilles, that nudges
through the small puncture through your chest. Each breath nudges it out of place,
and re-lodges itself somewhere deeper.

Oikawa’s
face is stoic, the firm lines across his brows forced together in an expression
unfamiliar with pity and second chances.

It still
takes you too long to ask the right question; his fighting face directed point
blank at your eyes, and your chest begins to writhe, incapable of inuring itself
to a suffering unknown.

You ask a
stupid question. You know it’s stupid from how Oikawa’s mouth twists, a
nonverbal spit at your feet.

“How am I
supposed to feel when you say that?”

You regret it before you even ask it, but
you think you’d regret it more if you wrote it down instead and burned it
later.

Whoa…just…whoa. So, so good!

I love love love the scenario of Kise showing his ex-gf (from Teiko) for sending all those past pictures of him to his current girlfriend. That’s so sweet! Can you do a similar scenario where Kise protects or defends his girlfriend, or it could also be a comfort scenario. Something where Kise is very cool and acts like a very gallant prince instead of being whiny lol. Thanks!

imagine-knb:

Awwww! I love protective Kise! Slight trigger warning for the subject manner of bullying. – Admin Jade

“You know he’s dating you out of pity, right?”

“That or he lost a bet! Ooooo, I bet that’s it!”

“You bet that’s it? How lame of joke is that?”

“Not as lame as ____-chan thinking someone as gorgeous and talented as Kise-kun could ever have real feelings for her. It’s so sad it’s funny.”

The girls giggled, a cruel, mirthless sound. Their eyes bore down on her and she shrunk farther against the wall, wishing for the ground to open and swallow her up. How could people think this was ok? That they had any right to comment on something they knew nothing about? But she was weak, too weak to stand up for herself or Kise. She knew dating the popular model turned basketball prodigy would be challenging, but the taunts had grown more vicious and despite knowing better, seeds of doubt were beginning to take root.

Maybe they saw something she didn’t. After all, these girls ran in the same circle as Kise, at least before he started playing basketball. But now they were regulated to the literal sidelines watching the ace, the “golden boy” of Kaijo.

And they hated her for standing beside him.

That alone should have been enough to give her the strength to disbelieve their venomous insults, their never-ending torment but it didn’t; slowly but surely she was beginning to question Kise’s motivation to be with her. Despite her fervent efforts, she could feel tears welling up then sliding down her cheeks, her face flushing hotly in embarrassment and shame.

“Oh, you gonna cry now?” one of them cooed.

“So pathetic,” another snapped, hand reaching down to grasp a handful of her hair. She cried out at the firm tug but a moment later felt an imposing presence of an entirely different variety standing next to her. Cracking open her eyes she inhaled sharply at the expression on Kise’s face as he gripped the wrist of the girl holding her.

“I suggest you release, ____-cchi, before something bad happens,” he said lowly.

The girl, now shaking in her shoes, did as told, taking a step back to fall in line with her fellow gossip mongers.

Gently, Kise slid his arm around his girlfriend’s waist, tugging her close and she couldn’t help burying her face against his chest, inhaling his spicy scent.

“It’s ok, I’ve got you,” he whispered, kissing the top of her head. Then, turning his gaze back to her abusers, his eyes narrowed, a more fearsome expression present than any he’d held on the court.

“You think you know me so well, do you?” he said, tone surprisingly even. “You have no fucking clue!”

They gasped, backing away again as he tucked the girl in his arms between himself and the wall, shielding her though the immediate danger was gone.

“If I so much as hear one more word from you about her, to her, about me, or to me, you will regret it!” He stepped forward, leaning down to their height to make eye contact with each one. “Trust me, I have many ways of ruining your lives. So if you want the next two years to be in any way enjoyable, I suggest you take this as your last warning. Stay away from her,” he pointed backwards, “and keep your ugly mouths shut!”

Nodding rapidly, the trio scurried away, not able to hide tears of their own.

Kise waited until they were out of sight then turned back to the girl still cowered against the wall. Slowly he turned her to face him, tilting her chin up, frowning at her still closed eyes. “_____-cchi, look at me,” he insisted firmly but there was a sweetness in his tone.

She did as told, blinking to try to dispel the tears still hanging on her lashes. He took care of them with the soft pads of his thumbs, whispering, “Don’t believe anything those bitches said. Or any others I don’t know about…yet.” His tone slipped into darkness, his aura threatening once more and she almost shrank away, but his arm held fast around her back, pulling her closer to his body. Leaning down, he brushed a gentle kiss to her lips. “I love you, ______.” His lips pressed to hers again, a bit firmer, more insistent and she couldn’t keep a sigh from escaping. Pulling back, he smiled, a true, warmth and love-filled smile so beautiful she couldn’t hold back her tears any longer, flinging her arms about his waist.

He stroked her hair, murmuring words of affection and understanding, letting her cry it out. When her sobs turned to sniffles he gently pulled back to look at her face. “Come on, let’s go get some ice cream.” And taking her hand, he lead her towards the front gates, babbling away about practice and all the great things he’d done and how Kasamatsu-senpai didn’t properly appreciate him. Despite all that had happened, she smiled, squeezing his hand in silent thanks for his protection…and his love.
