could i get a kuroo x fem reader in their last year and they liked each other from the beginning but were “just friends” and she thinks he doesnt like her but confesses and they get a happy ending? i realy need one, i lost mine

kuroast:

i’m so sorry to hear that, and trust me i’ve been there and ofc it’s going to hurt but you’ll fall again and hopefully it’ll be requited 😘💕 stay strong! i’m here if you need to talk~

———— 💕💕💕💕💕————

You twirled the alcoholic drink in your glass as you absentmindedly watched how the moon reflected upon it. In all fairness, while the fact that this field trip was the last one you were going to have with the volleyball team, a part of you was still shaken up after suspecting Kuroo fell for another. He didn’t admit to it himself, but doubt inflicts more damage than certainty ever could.

A sigh escaped your lips as you leaned into the chair that was positioned, in your ever so humble opinion, rather perfectly on the balcony; it allowed you an astounding view of the starry sky yet kept you hidden from the wind. With a single glance at what was going on back in the livingroom, you could barely suppress a smile at the sight of Kuroo massaging his temples in despair over the nonsense Lev was spewing.

It was the perfect picture; one you were certainly going to miss once you leave.

Mere seconds after, Kuroo’s eyes locked with yours, resulting in him breaking out in a smile. With a single eye roll at the first year, he got up and made his way towards you.

“I feel like a failing parent,” he commented, closing the balcony door behind himself before placing the beverage that he tried his best not to spill, on the table.

“Next time, use protection,” you winked before raising your glass towards him in a sarcastic manner. He matched your pace and took a sip himself, a smug grin gracing his lips at your taunting.

Comfortable silence followed in; truth be told, atfter the entire day with the team, not even Kuroo would complain about finally getting some peace and quiet.

“Do you realise this is goodbye?” he suddenly blurted out as he awaited your reaction— was he the only one dreading it?

“I prefer to think of it as an opportunity to think of all the good memories we’ve had— it might be a goodbye, but not forever. It’s just that this chapter of our life is over.”

The male quirked his brow quizzicaly, rotating so that he was turned towards you properly, “Deep conversations under the stars with accompanying alcohol? Sign me in.”

Through a stiffled laugh you shook your head at him and found yourself regretting it afterwards. Perhaps you had a sip too many and dizziness overcame you.

“That’s what I’m talking about; every trip we go on, we end up like this. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to drink on a balcony without a part of me hoping you’re going to follow suit.”

“One day, I might,” he added, trailing off. As he opened his mouth to continue, you beat him to it. Nine chances out of ten you were going to regret it— at that point, the alcohol was talking and you had nothing to do with it.

“Don’t get my hopes up like that. You always do that,” your tone changed and you could no longer maintain eye contact. Puzzled by the change in the atmosphere, the raven leaned in, prepared to offer you a shoulder for whatever you might need.

“I like you,” you blurted out, “And I know you don’t like me. And I’m trying so hard to get over you. I kept letting go, I kept convincing myself that I was ready to do so. At times I was. It’s you, though. I blame you. You’re the one who won’t leave no matter how many chances I give you. In a crowd you look for me, you never leave my side— you don’t even give me five minutes with my other friends. I mean, for fuck’s sake, you aren’t supposed to chase a girl through the field, blowing dandelions at her unless you like h—“

“I do.”

“W-what?” your voice cracked; at that very given moment, your heart was racing so lound that you could hear it, and most likely he could as well.

“Have you ever once thought that I was always by your side because I like you? Because I need you? Because I want you? Because I would choose your company over anyone else’s?” he continued, getting up from his seat so that he could face you properly, “Every time you brushed me off as just a friend, it hurt, but I was prepared for it if it meant staying by your side.”

“What about—“

“(Name), you said it yourself. A guy doesn’t chase a girl through a field, blowing dandelions at her unless he likes her.”

A moment of silence followed suit; you spent it staring at one another, whether in amazement or disbelief— perhaps even in wonder, as you marveled at the fact that you were blind despite your perfect sight.

So all it took, after countless nights of empty “what ifs” and daydreams, was a mere confession. Oh, the trouble you could have saved yourself from.

“Kuroo, you absolute idiot, kiss h-nhmp!” Lev was cut off by the hand of an exhasperated Kenma as he drew the curtains with the other, swiftly apologizing for the intrusion.

Previously unaware of their presence, the male’s cheeks burnt bright red as he took a step back, prepared to turn into a stuttering mess at any moment, only to have you pull him in for a kiss in the brief moment of drunken courage.

It was a short peck, for the height difference didn’t allow much else without the additional help of the flustered raven, but you beamed with happiness nonetheless.

“Say, what you want, but for once, he’s right,” you commented cheekily. Having the doubt and fear of rejection lifted from your shoulders, you found it in you to smile brightly with no regrets.

—————

And there it was, a short, happy ending for all of those who didn’t get theirs.

Awwww!!! I’ve missed your stuff! It’s always so good! I love that you call Kuroo a raven because as much as he’s a cat, a raven is a good description too and I love it!

hello! i’m back with another request that’s somehow specific; a fluff where asahi carries his drunken wife home in his back after a Karasuno reunion party. She kept on rambling about how she loves Asahi while drunken and when they arrived home and he lets her down, she just went over kissing him and fell asleep

imagine-that-haikyuu:

i constantly have delusions of myself in about five years
getting drunk at my 10-year reunion but this is probably a lot nicer than
something i would do when that comes

I GOT CARRIED AWAY THIS IS LONG

“Oh my god,” you squealed. You were practically in tears
when Suga showed you a picture on his phone of him, Daichi, and Asahi as first
years on the volleyball team. “Oh my god, my husband is a baby here! He has no
beard! I love him.”

Suga laughed while you brought your hands to your cheeks
and smiled at thought of Asahi at fifteen. Eyes not leaving the screen while
Suga swiped to the next picture, you reached for your glass and brought it to
your lips. Concern graced your features when only drops of ice water hit your
tongue. You hadn’t even realized your glass was virtually empty; that was
unacceptable.

I died! Asahi is perfect husband material. So, so cute and I love future fics where the boys are all still friends!

lemme fill your inbox with Asahi request again; Asahi’s s/o is an idol/model/anything that is really popular in the school. Normally, she’s really sweet and kind to everyone, but one day she snapped and got mad when she overheard a rumor of Asahi threatening her to date him (probably from one of her fanboys who is jealous or something) and then Asahi watched it all in an awe. (Bonus of later after, she went straight away to cuddle Asahi and saying that he’s the best she could have)

imagine-that-haikyuu:

one of these days, i won’t get carried away when it comes
to an asahi request. today is not that day.

i just have a lot of feelings about him and i may have
angsted a little and by a little i mean i spent like 3 nights on this and it’s
just shy of 4k words like @ me wtf

Asahi still thinks a lot about the first time you
spoke to him in his second year of high school. You had just transferred to Karasuno a week before that exchange,
assigned to sit in the empty desk next to his in class.

You approached your desk, and him by proximity. You were
tall, probably only a few centimeters shorter than him, and easy on
the eyes

of course. He’d never describe you as intimidatingly beautiful, but he never
hesitated to describe himself as someone intimidated by beauty—in a good
way—but still. He couldn’t bring himself to say anything to you and instead
offered a curt nod and a faint smile. You stared at him curiously but nodded
too before taking your seat.

In that week, neither of you ever had a chance to say
anything to each other. Nearly every opportunity there would be to make even
small talk ended up filled by your other classmates. If they weren’t
enthusiastically asking you questions about whether or not you really were a
model (“Yup! But only for some catalogs and lesser known magazines at the
moment), they were determined to integrate you into their social circles before
anyone else could. Meaning, there were times when the bell would chime and only
a moment later, someone would already be chatting you up or whisking you off
elsewhere.

My first Haikyuu crush!!! Ugh he’s just so pure and sweet! This was beautiful!

How would Kuroo, Asahi, and Tanaka propose to their girlfriends?

imagine-that-haikyuu:

i got a nasty cold that i was hoping would just be
allergies, but that wasn’t the case. ε-(>.<;; hence, why updates were slower
this week. sorry, about that, folks. i needed a little pick-me-up and used this
for that reason

totally based tanaka’s on how my cousin recently proposed
to his girlfriend, which was much cuter than his original plan, if you ask me

Kuroo

  • Basically, he pulls a Jim from The Office where he does something purposefully
to make you think he’s going to propose but doesn’t to build suspense for when
he actually proposes (i.e., getting down on one knee while saying your name,
looking you in the eye, and then going to tie his shoe)
    • But
he’s not going to propose at a gas station mini-mart, rest assured.
  • No, you’re at the monthly trivia night at your
usual bar. As always, the two of you are way more into it than any of your
friends are and you’re tied for first against the one team you always lose to
at the last question of the night.
  • You’ve never been more pumped to write down the answer on the dry erase board at a moment’s notice. The game
host gets his question card ready and makes everyone wait on baited breath.
    • “Last question of the night. For twenty points:
___…”—You look up at the host clearly confused—“will you marry, Kuroo
Tetsurou?” And sure enough while you’re processing that this is actually
happening Kuroo’s still sitting right beside you with the ring out.
  • While your giggling uncontrollably, you write
down “Yes” on the white board and hold it up for everyone to see.
    • While everyone else is applauding the two of you
and cheering, he’s sure to ask again in his own voice and you respond all the
      same.

Asahi

  • You’re sure he’s already bought a ring, so it’s only
a matter of time. Every time you think it might be the perfect chance,
though, it doesn’t happen. But you know he’s not the spontaneous type; he’s going
to have everything planned and do it in a very romantic setting.
  • It’s after a rough day at work and texting him
the whole time, he offers to take you somewhere that will cheer you up once you
get home. He doesn’t specify where, but when you ask him he answers with a, “Uh,
    it’s a… surprise…”
  • This and how clammy his hands are when you hold
his on the way there is assurance enough that it’s happening now. Now you just
have to wait and see how he does it.
  • It’s so simple, but beautiful: a picnic already
set up at sunset into early evening at your favorite park.
  • You can tell he’s incredibly nervous, but he’s
keeping it together very well. He takes your hands and thinks over what he’s
going to say before slowly saying it. He’s not going to trip over his words and
ruin the mood he’s set for the evening.
    • “I
know I took longer than I should have to do this, but I needed the weather to
warm up enough so that it didn’t get too cold after sunset. So, please, ___,
      will you marry me?”
    • And
god, it’s so cute and sweet and that you start laughing and crying and that
makes him start laugh and crying too. Somewhere in there you’ve managed to
      squeak out a yes.

Tanaka

  • He’s got this planned to a T. He’s going to
propose while you’re at lunch with your parents—who are in on the plan—that afternoon.
  • He keeps the ring in his back pocket from the
moment he gets dressed in the morning, which ends up being early for him. His
excitement woke him up earlier than usual.
  • Tanaka’s ready for the day before you’ve even
properly woken up. You’re still in your pajamas and somewhat sleepy while you
    prepare breakfast.
  • There’s no
    way
he’s going to make it until lunch. The very sight of you makes him
swell up with so many emotions. After only a few steps into the kitchen, he gets
down on one knee right there despite your back being turned to him.
  • You hear his footsteps and turn to greet him
sleepily only to be stopped mid-sentence by the sight of him kneeling and
holding up little red box opened with a ring sparkling inside.
  • He doesn’t even say anything and you’re already nodding
and trying to remember how to say yes.
    • “Will
      you m—”
    • “Yes.”
    • “C’mon.
You’ve got to let me finish saying it first! ___, will you marry—”
    • “Yes!”
      • He
can’t argue with you after that because you’ve tackled him to the ground in an
embrace and keep shrieking “yes” with increasing excitement.

Going through the Asahi tag and oh my gosh how could I forget this gem?!! They are all so, so sweet!! 💖💖💖

Meeting (Daichi x Reader)

serves-up:

Soooooo here’s something I had in mind for Admin Jade @vball-baes-bball-babes !!! Sorry I missed your birthday! Hope this will suffice!!

Cold.

You’ve felt that for a while now. The feeling prickled at your skin, made its way down your tissue, seeped into your bones, chilling you down to the core.

The heartbreak didn’t cause you pain anymore. Things have been like this for a while now, and you couldn’t help but feel lackadaisical towards the passing of days. You wanted to feel something else, but you felt trapped in the vortex, unable to escape by any means. You gave up on trying a while ago anyway. You relied on routine to keep you sane now. Get up, eat, go to work, sleep. Of course, you had a change of task every now and then, but you stuck to this schedule religiously. Some may call thus repetition insane, but strangely, being able to control this aspect of your life was comforting.

And today, you were doing just that.

You stepped outside your house, instantly shivering from the instantaneous drop in temperature. It seemed almost ironic how the weather mirrored your mood. Heavy, grey clouds blanketed the sky, dusting the ground below with white specks of snow.

You sighed, and with it came a puff of “smoke”, then made your way down to the train station to get to work.

After a few moments of waiting, you finally boarded the train. A seemingly endless sea of people flooded into the car alongside you. You felt a little claustrophobic, but you’ve experienced this enough times to become at least slightly used to it. You sat down at a seat in the back of the car by the window. This only left room for one person to sit beside you, which was arguably better than having two people squished against you.

You rummaged around in your bag, searching for your phone to help you endure the ride. You heard someone sit down beside you, but you didn’t pay much attention to them. You searched around more in your bag. You heard the doors close and the screeching of the wheels as the car started to move.

Unfortunately, you turned out empty-handed. You probably left it on the charger at home.

You sighed and sunk into your seat. Maybe you could be content listening to the whirring of the car…

“Um, are you okay?”

You jumped a bit at the sudden voice. You turned to the side to face the source.

It was a man. He seemed around your age. His dark brown hair was cut short and neat, and his brown eyes spoke of genuine concern. And to be completely honest, for the first time in a while, you had to suppress a blush from rising to your cheeks.

“Y-yeah…I’m fine.” You answered, feeling a bit embarrassed to have caused a distraction. You must’ve sighed louder than you intended.

“Okay,” He laughed softly, albeit awkwardly. “I was a little worried for a second. You seem really upset.”

You smiled weakly in return. “Eh, I guess you could still say that.”

He turned to face you more. “What’s bothering you?”

You scoffed. “You don’t really want to listen to my issues.”

He waved his hand in disagreement. “No, no. I do. I left my headphones at home, so I don’t have anything to do besides talk.”

The car was filled with random noises and the chatting of strangers. No one was paying attention to you two either. So no harm in pouring your heart out to a random stranger. Right?

You told him about everything that’s happened lately. The breakup mainly. He listened intently and nodded his head in fervor when he agreed or related to something you said, occasionally, he’d respond with small tidbits of his own.

Once you finished, you felt a little weight lifted off your shoulders. It felt good to get that off your chest.

“Well,” He paused. A look of intent concentration crossed his face. “I’m really sorry about that. Sometimes, people stay together out of necessity. Think of this as an opportunity to find someone you enjoy being with.” He smiled amicably at you. You almost wanted to take of mental picture of this moment, it felt straight out of a movie.

The screeching of the train’s brakes brought you your moment to a halt, you two must have been talking for longer than you realized.

The car began to flood again with people standing up, clogging themselves around the unopened doors. The man beside you stood up as well and offered his hand out to help you out of your seat, which you gladly accepted. As you two walked to the exit, you suddenly spoke up.

“Hey…can I ask for your name?”

He smiled and stuck his hand out again, this time for a shake. “Sawamura Daichi. And you?”

You gratefully took his hand in yours and introduced yourself.

You two walked out the doors, he turned to you.

“See you tomorrow?”

You nodded. “Yeah.”

The both of you parted ways, thankfully not for the last time. You stepped out of the train station and onto the partially melted snowy sidewalk. Despite the weather, you felt different from before.

You felt warm.

Brie this is great! Thank you so much for writing it for me, I’m truly honored. You know how much I love Daichi and this felt exactly like what he’d do even for a total stranger. Thank you again so much luv!
