Hello everyone! Could I get kind of a witch au headcanon thingies where a girl has Kuroo, Bokuto, and Daichi as their cat, owl, and crow familiars? I hope that makes sense??

Kuroo

  • Kuroo came to you when you found a stray cat rooting through your trash can. You took him in, fed him, and have him a warm place to sleep. The next day, he revealed his human form and agreed to form a contract with you.
  • Despite the fact he’s pretty cool and collected during rituals and spell work, he does have the occasional cat-like tendency: knocking things over, napping in sunny spots, and getting the Zoomies at three in the morning.
  • He follows you everywhere in both forms. You’re never out of his sight.
  • He is a very needy cuddler. If you’re trying to get something done, or you’re meeting with a client, he’ll just chill in your lap. Otherwise, he’s just all limbs and he’s all over you.

Bokuto

  • You and Bokuto have been in each other’s lives as long as you can remember. You formed the contract when you were little kids, and have been together ever since.
  • He is very into your work, and tends to hover during rituals and spell work. He does have some psychic tendencies of his own, so he’s most helpful during readings.
  • He’s pretty out of it for a few minutes after he transforms, so he doesn’t do it often, and afterwards he needs lots of love, affection, and reassurance. He trusts you absolutely to take care of him, but he desperately needs that physical contact to set himself right.
  • When you  meet clients, he tends to hover in the back of your little shop. He can be very intimidating, and that’s how he protects you.

Daichi

  • You found him injured and dying one night. You were convinced he wouldn’t make it, but you could never leave an animal in need, so you nursed him back to health. When he revealed his human form to you, he swore he wouldn’t leave your side and formed the contract then and there.
  • Like other ravens, he’s fiercely intelligent and observant. He forgets nothing, and he will do literally anything for you to keep you safe. He tries to give you space during your work, but he finds it difficult to let you out of his sight. He owes you his life, after all.
  • He is extremely protective and possessive. While he trusts you to take care of yourself, once he loves someone, he doesn’t let them go. He has sworn his unwavering loyalty to you, and he means it.
  • Despite how business-like and responsible he can be, he still loves you with his whole heart, and he shows it on a regular basis. He adores closeness, and he needs physical touch to function most days. If he’s feeling out of it, he’ll just lean against your back or shoulder.

4.) How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

I have a couple actually! One is a Tanaka centric fic with angst. At the moment it’s set as a reader fic but I haven’t really worked on it that much lately. I have a few scenes I wrote out so I wouldn’t forget them.

Right now though, the one most rampant in my brain is a Soul Eater x Haikyuu crossover / AU. I want to make the characters of Soul Eater the adults while the HQ guys and gals make up the student body of the DWMA. I will most likely try to create an OC for it as a love interest for Asahi (cause baby ace needs some love) and a pairing between Death the Kid and Tsubaki. I really want to write this but I’m nervous to because Soul Eater has been done for so long and I’m not sure if enough people would be interested. We’ll see, I may still do it for a small fan base and just because I love the idea so much.

I did have an Bleach story I started but haven’t worked on for a long time with a Renji x Orihime pairing where Ichigo offers to marry Rukia so she isn’t forced to marry someone she doesn’t want to. Planned on drama and love triangles but lost steam on it.

I have another Bleach fic I started that is an AU where the main guys are human and the main girls are supernatural creatures. I was also going to incorporate elements of Black Butler and Supernatural as well but again just lost motivation and steam for it so it’s remained untouched for months and months.

14.) What’s the worst writing advice you’ve ever come across?

Hmmmmm….interesting question. I honestly can’t think of anything, I mean outside of people just being rude when they don’t agree with something I wrote but that’s more a matter of opinion than giving advice. Truthfully, the advice I’ve sought out usually seems pretty good. The most confusing sometimes is “show not tell” if it’s not explained well or used too extensively and the argument of using “said” versus other descriptive words for speech or expression. Again, mostly a matter of preference I suppose.

18.) Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines?

For most of my writing, no but lately I’ve wanted to try outlines so that I can make sure my story is staying on track. I’ve had two times (within the same story actually) where when I didn’t outline where I wanted to go I ended up writing myself into a bit of a corner. In one sense, it was good because it challenged me to write better. But in the other, it left the story open ended for sequel…that I have NO IDEA how to handle. Heh heh. So yeah, if I do this Soul Eater / Haikyuu AU I’ll be making sure to do some outlining.

On that note, is that a story you guys would be interested in reading?

  • suga wears glasses when his classes are in big lecture halls, and in his dorm when he’s doing his readings for the next class
  • don’t talk to daichi before he’s had his morning coffee
  • tanaka and noya are the type to skateboard to class
  • people learn to jump out of the way when they see them coming, because they will race each other and probably race the bicycles, too
  • everyone wants to dorm with asahi because he can cook
  • hinata gets lost on campus for the first two months 
  • he still does sometimes, but some kind soul helped him download a map onto his phone
  • kageyama visits the same cafe every day to get his daily dairy
  • said cafe probably has a special booth just for him (in the back because he tends to scare the freshmen away with his scowl of concentration)
  • ennoshita is constantly dragging his friends into his next film projects
  • or he’ll drag them with him to film festivals
  • kinoshita often falls asleep in the library
  • as a result, narita ends up going the long way to check the libraries until he finds kinoshita and prods him awake
  • guys still try to hit on kiyoko, but her friend circle makes sure to always be on guard for each other
  • she shows up and becomes assistant to every self-defense class
  • yachi can often be seen lugging around canvases too big for her
  • hinata and kageyama still race each other to class
  • tsukishima is the type that always manages to get the best study spots, and refuses to move once he sits down with his laptop and headphones on
  • yamaguchi finds himself swarmed by his classmates for extra help
  • suga is very popular for goukons, but he refuses to go more often than not
  • daichi is voted best RA every year 
  • asahi is known to offer to walk girls and freshmen home after dark (after layers of rumours about his scary appearance)
  • tanaka and noya are Responsible Frat Boys that make sure nobody is peer-pressuring at parties and that everyone gets home safely
  • they are also known to show up at events for the free food
  • kinoshita will show up to class in his pajamas
  • hinata sets off the fire alarm with his microwave more than once
  • yamaguchi signs up for ALL the puppy therapy sessions
  • after exams, tsukishima goes to his favourite cafe to treat himself to cake
  • no one sees suga during exam season

11.) Is writing your passion or just a fun hobby?

When I first started out a little over a year ago, I’d say it was a passion. I would have ideas running through my head all day, jotting down notes and itching to get home to write. I would sit in front of my laptop for HOURS working on my stories. Now, I’d save it’s moved more to a fun hobby, which in a way kind of bums me out but I’m kind of not surprised I got a bit burned out.

19.) Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse?

I think the animes I create content for are my muses but really what fuels me is my readers and their words of encouragement and enjoyment of reading my stuff. When the feedback slows down, my muse dries up.

Related to above, literally any feedback makes me happy because it means someone enjoyed something and cared enough to tell me. I had one review for a Bleach fic that really made my day, like the person gave me lots of specifics of what they enjoyed about the story and it just made me grin from ear to ear. I’ve also received supportive messages and lots of love that just swelled my heart. REVIEWS MEAN SO MUCH, so please, please, please leave them. Please don’t think you’re bothering us. Please don’t worry about sounding smart or whatever, just tell us what and why you love something and we’ll be thrilled!

  • ushijima is a Good Student, shows up for class right on time, sits in the front, always has backup pens, hands in his homework early
  • he’s also the kid that asks questions that will lead the professor slightly off topic and make the lecture run overtime
  • if you end up with tendou in your study group, good fucking luck because the kid will annoy the heck out of you
  • but, somehow, you will also end up knowing your stuff because he’s actually good at explaining stuff once he stops praising himself
  • shirabu will begin a tense debate with anyone in the class, even the professor
  • but like, on topic and everything
  • he’s not even taking law
  • goshiki’s tutors hate him because he doesn’t understand anything they’re teaching him, but he tries so hard for their approval, prompting them to try even harder for his sake
  • semi is the TA everyone’s afraid of because he marks really hard but he also gives really good feedback
  • everyone somehow goes to ohira for advice, like he’s the unofficial life counselor, but really he’s just sitting there sipping espresso and doing his readings until you figure yourself out 
  • kawanishi is the ghost roommate that no one’s sure really exists
  • until he eats your entire stash of emergency chips, yeah he exists
  • yamagata is the kid that always knows where they’re giving out free food
  • ushijima has a reserved spot in the library and will lecture you until you relinquish that spot to him

Your Fandoms Are At RISK

With the FCC trying to strip away our Net Neutrality, think about what will be lost. Not only will your internet be controlled by cable/phone companies and your information sold to wherever said companies decide, if you are someone who loves to float away into your favorite fandoms/ships, they WILL be taken away from you. Not might be. They will.

Do you love reading fanfics? Do you love writing them? Say goodbye to that luxury if Net Neutrality is destroyed. You can especially say GOODBYE to Ao3 almost immediately. Sites like them rely on donations from fans to stay running and the FCC will chop them to shreds when they decide to block/make you pay extra to use it. Even if you’re non-american and believe you won’t be “affected” by this, honey you have a big storm coming. You can guarantee that US-bound writers will disappear and fickle out to only those who are willing to pay. Are you in a small fandom that doesn’t have a lot of creators to begin with? You won’t even have a chance. No Net Neutrality will be a direct hit to your form of relaxtion.

Do you like to watch edits? Do you slave over edits of your favs? Where are you going to see/post them when Net Neutrality is no more? Same as fanfictions, from short and quick to complex and elaborate edits, editors will be affected when they are forced to pay extra to use YouTube and Tumblr, for example. Do you sometimes lay late at night watching a marathon of edits of your favorite shows? That will be a thing of the past if the FCC ends Net Neutrality.

Are you an artist that draw your favorite ships and characters? Do you enjoy art of your favs? IT. WILL. ALL. END. IF. NET. NEUTRALITY. ENDS. Even worse if you’re a struggling artist that works off commission. You’ll be spending more money than you’re bringing in when you have to pay extra a month to use Tumblr, DeviantArt, Instagram and other sites used to upload original content. Then you’ll have to pray others who are paying extra are willing to pay for your art. Chances are, if you’re strugglin now, you won’t even last if Net Neutrality is out.

Do you download your favorite shows and movies whether it’s just to watch or create content? Where are you going to download them when sites are blocked from your internet? If you don’t have cable for whatever reason, you REALLY aren’t going to be able to catch your shows now. If you can’t afford cable, what makes you think you can afford several internet packages?

Do you like being kept up to date on what your fav is doing such as tour dates, new music, and news in general? Best believe there won’t be a such thing when you are forced to pay for Twitter, Snapchat, and other apps.
