Hinata: He’s tiny, but he hugs you with everything he has. He probably ran up and jumped at you before hugging you, but having to stumble backwards a bit to keep your balance is worth it because his hugs are everything.
Kageyama: He’s hesitant at first, like he’s not sure how to react to being hugged. His arms probably hover uncertainly behind your back for a minute until her relaxes and wraps them around you with surprising tenderness, letting his eyes fall shut as he gently hugs you back.
Tsukishima: There is a very high probability of this boy just standing there with his arms by his sides while you hug him. Don’t blame him; he really does appreciate your hug, he just won’t let himself admit it. Don’t give up, either–after a minute he’ll give up and hug you back, resting his chin on top of your head to hide the fact that he’s definitely smiling.
Yamaguchi: His hugs are sugar and spice and everything nice. He grins into your neck as he hugs you, and he might rock back and forth a little bit, like he’s just too happy to stand still. Yamaguchi high key loves hugs.
Nishinoya: He is honestly way too enthusiastic about hugs. He’ll probably either tackle-hug you or pick you up and spin you around. You
mightwill almost certainly end up in a pile on the ground as a result of Noya’s hugs, but his enthusiasm is catching and you just end up laughing along with him.Tanaka: He’s a bear hugger. His hugs are so tight you probably have to remind him that breathing is a thing that you need to do–but once he relaxes a bit his hugs are nice.
Ennoshita: He has two hug modes–super relaxing Zen Hug or super intense squeeze, and there is no in-between. When he’s feeling chill, he’s a chronic leaner, with an arm tossed around your shoulder, but when he’s fired up or just needs a hug, he’s the guy who will literally lift you off the ground. Unlike the other lifters, though, he’s steady enough you won’t fall. He sometimes likes to keep you lifted in his arms, looking up adoringly at you.
Daichi: Daichi is literally the best hugger? He has this way of knowing exactly how much pressure you need, be it a light embrace or a tight squeeze. He lives for hugs, and he always does that comforting back-rub thing between your shoulder blades. He’ll sometimes hum tunelessly when you’re hugging him; it’s such a soothing sound, too.
Suga: Suga is a koala hugger. You’d think he was an angel baby; but you would be wrong. He’s a little shit, and will occasionally drape himself over you like an oversized cat at the most inopportune times. But he always smells really nice and he always includes nose nuzzles with his hugs.
Asahi: Asahi gets flustered, so he likes to hug from the back. He’s usually very gentle, though, like you’re something breakable, but if he’s feeling particularly anxious or clingy, he’ll hold you a little tighter and bury his face in your hair. You can tell when he’s relaxed because he’ll sigh really softly and just totally relax. When he’s super comfortable with a person, he likes to tuck them under his chin.
More adorableness!!
