Akashi + Himuro cuddling with their s/o that suddenly asks the boys to tell them a story

Himuro: He was trying not to let the surprise show on his face, but there was no doubt that Himuro had never been asked to tell anyone a story before. Shifting slightly in his seat, just enough that you had to move your head to be in a more comfortable position and still be able to see him, he tried to mull over a few scenarios in his mind that he could say.

“I’m not very good at this,” he admitted sheepishly.

The only things that were coming to mind were actual events that had happened in his life and, granted while they were stories, he was sure they wouldn’t be the things you’d want to hear. Maybe there was a way for him to twist it into some kind of fairy tale? Though he was sure there would be no possible way for him to create a story worthy of knights and dragons from all the shenanigans he’d done as a kid.

“Let me think for a bit,” he asks, but eventually decides to just go with the flow. Whatever came out would be the story. “Once upon a time… Don’t laugh. That’s how you start a story, right?”

Akashi: Hearing the request from you has him thinking back on his past when he was much younger. Laying his head on his mother’s lap, he would ask the same thing of her just as he was on the verge of falling asleep for the night. It was one of the few memories of her that he had which still brought a smile to his face, no matter how strained it could be at times. Even now, as the memory invaded his mind, the ghost of a smile was etching itself onto his lips.

“Sure,” he said, voice just high enough above a whisper so that you could hear him. “I think I know one you might like.”

Conjuring up whatever he could remember, Akashi brought forth the familiar characters and settings that his mom used to tell him about in his mind’s eye. She had always been so good at painting a picture in his mind that, even now years later, he could still vividly see the fantasy worlds that she had created just for him.

“It started a long time ago,” he began, walking down that memory lane.
