I agree, I love him!
A content sigh leaves your lips, breath ghosting over the neck hairs of your now husband as the two of you sway to and fro in an easy circle, eyes of friends and family watching you dance but they’re lost to you as the man in your arms becomes the center of your world, your universe.
Ennoshita places a kiss to your temple, murmuring, “Still glad you married me?”
Somehow the snort you let loose is elegant. “The night’s still young, Chikara, but I think it’s safe to say I’m happy with my choice. You?”
He draws back, cupping your face with one hand, eyes shining. “I’ve never been more happy or sure of anything in my life.”
You smile, leaning up to touch your lips to his. “Good, cause you’re stuck with me for life, baby.”
He grins. “Though, I think we can both agree it was a tad cliche getting married on Valentine’s day.”
You shrug. “Day of love seemed appropriate to me.”
And he just laughs again, sweeping you of your feet in a dip earning claps, hoots and whistles from your audience.
