BLIND DATE PLEASE

Gathering a deep breath, you look at the directions one more time. Left at the fork in the road, head down the path and wait at the gate. Ok, you can do that. Hurrying along, early in your excitement to meet your blind date, you make it there before him.

“So, you managed to find it after all.”

Smirking, you turn, looking up and up and up into the gleaming gold eyes of none other than Tsukishima Kei.

“You know,” you say stepping a bit closer, “insulting your date within the first thirty seconds is typically frowned upon. But then again, what else would one expect from a salt shaker?”

Tsukishima frowns. “Isn’t that a bit of the pot calling the kettle black?”

You shrug. “Just confirming I can keep up with you so don’t waste time thinking this is…well…a waste of time.”

He huffs. “Yeah, ok, whatever. Come on, the concert’s gonna start soon.” He brushes past you but grabs your hand to tug you along. You don’t mind that he doesn’t let it go the rest of the night.
