I had a conversation with a friend of mine today who reads fanfictions. And he couldn’t understand why I was so excited because someone had left a comment for a fic of mine. It made me realize that perhaps some of you don’t realize what it means for a writer to have feedbacks. So let’s be clear on something :

This is me when my fic receives a note:

This is me when someone reblogs my fic :

This is me when someone starts following me :

This is me when I receive a comment for my fic (guys, an emoji makes my day…) :

And this is me when a fic gets nothing :

Your opinion MATTERS. Your opinion is what makes us writer write. Your opinion is what gives us motivation to stay up until 1am after our day of work to finish a chapter. 

You MATTER. So if you like a fic, let’s the writer know. Trust me, you will make this person spend a lovely day.
